Very bad app
I am extremely disappointed with the m.Stock app. The overall experience is very frustrating and the app feels poorly optimized for traders.
First of all, the app hangs a lot. While navigating between sections or checking market data, the app frequently freezes and becomes unresponsive. A trading app should be smooth and reliable, but this one keeps lagging again and again.
Secondly, the battery consumption is very high. Even with normal usage, the app drains the phone battery much faster compared to other trading apps. This makes it inconvenient for users who need to track the market throughout the day.
Another major issue is the slow startup time. Whenever I open the app, it takes around 3–4 seconds just to load the interface. In trading, every second matters, and such delays make the app feel very inefficient.
Today I also noticed that the Nifty Option Chain was not available inside the app, which is a basic feature for options traders. A trading platform missing such an essential tool is extremely disappointing.
The UI and overall interface are also very poor. The design feels outdated, confusing, and not user-friendly. Even simple tasks take longer because the interface is not smooth.
Overall, the app feels unstable, slow, and poorly developed. It hangs frequently, drains battery, loads slowly, and sometimes even lacks important trading features.
The developers seriously need to fix the hanging issues, optimize battery usage, improve the UI, and make the app faster and more reliable. Right now, the experience with m.Stock is very disappointing.

Major Heating & Battery Drain Issues
I'm writing this review to express my serious concerns about the M Stock app's performance on my iPhone. While the app's features seem promising, its current state makes it virtually unusable due to two critical problems: excessive device heating and rapid battery drain.
Within minutes of opening the app, my iPhone becomes noticeably hot, almost uncomfortably so. This isn't just a slight warmth; it feels like the phone is constantly under heavy load, even when I'm simply Browse.
Furthermore, the battery drain is alarming. I've observed a significantly accelerated depletion of my iPhone's battery life when M Stock is running, even in the background. This forces me to constantly recharge my device, which is highly inconvenient and concerning for long-term battery health.
These issues severely impact the overall user experience and make it difficult to rely on M Stock for essential tasks. I hope the developers address these critical performance problems in an urgent update. Until then, I cannot recommend this app to other iPhone users.

Please hire a team who can actually work on your application performance instead of providing margins please consider providing instant order execution and faster app experience instead of slow loading and page navigation. Issues Observed:

Terrible Experience – App Needs Major Fixes
I had high hopes for the mStock trading app, but it has been an incredibly disappointing experience. Here’s why:
1.Extremely Laggy: The app is very laggy, causing significant delays in order execution. This defeats the whole purpose of a trading platform where timing is crucial.
2.Overheating Issues: The app generates so much heat that I had to place my phone in the fridge just to continue using it. This is completely unacceptable.
3.Poor Customer Support: I raised a ticket regarding a position on 13th November, and as of today, it is still unresolved. The lack of response is frustrating.
4.Stop Loss Not Working: The stop-loss feature doesn’t function properly, exposing users to unnecessary risks.
5.Incorrect Margins: Sometimes, the app shows incorrect margin requirements. For example, it shows margin needed for a put sell order when I’m placing a put buy order. This is highly misleading and can cause trading errors.
6.Waste of Money: I paid ₹800+ for a plan, but it feels like a complete waste of money given the poor performance of the app.
I’ve decided to move to a different broker to avoid further losses and frustrations. Until these issues are fixed, I cannot recommend this app to anyone. Save your time, money, and peace of mind by looking elsewhere.

This is very laggy app every time on expiry day you are not able to login all your money is burnt out but no one takes the responsibility. The account requires T Pin to execute sell orders (which I believe is regulated and that ia fine), however, when I was trying to generate TPIN using BO ID and PAN, it shows invalid BOID and PAN (I have cross checked it several times and they are as per the details in the profile of my account). When I raised the issue with Mirae assets there was no response from their end, so I waited for 24 hours for resolution. But to my dismay there was no response and resolution from their end. I tried calling them, the call couldn’t pass through most of the times and the fortunate calls that were connected were disconnected saying we will get back to you shortly. I have to incur loss because of this and am still not able to close the position. So there are few things that I think I should highlight to new account openers:
1) The customer care helpline number is of no use, your problems will not be resolved
2) They promise to resolve the issue within 24 hours (which seems too much time to me given it is stock market we are talking about) but the issue is not resolved till now for me (already 72 hours)
3) Money added on holiday or post Mirae assets operating hours are added on the subsequent trading session (for instance : Money added on Sunday post 10 PM will only be reflected on Tuesday in the demat account), however, money added during the trading period will be reflected immediately (they highlight this while you add money, but that doesn’t makes it sensible)

Unreliable App forced me towards loss
I have started using m.stock app recently from the month of March 2023, after getting attracted towards it due to their lifetime zero brokerage offer and thought to use the platform for scalping in NIFTY F&O market, initially it was performing well, but yesterday i.e. 6th April 2023, after buying a CE in NIFTY F&O, when the price came to my target value, I tried to exit, but the App did not allow me to square off my position inspite of my multiple trying ……and from a good profit making status…..the App lead me to a big loss…..not only that, the App also started showing a negative balance in my Profile, whereas I had some money left in my account……I have raised the query to the Helpdesk of Mirae Asset, but I hardly expect any solution from them that can compensate my monetary losses. Overall it’s a very poor experience for me and I would like to aware serious retail traders prior to selecting this App, the support team is extremely BAD, inefficient and non-cooperative to their customers and they are unable to provide any support at all.
In the disguise of providing zero brokerage to the customers, they are basically putting their customers into a trap of LOSS.
Please use the renowned platforms life Zerodha/Groww/Upstox etc.
Extremely dissatisfied with this App, and the team behind it are so arrogant that they are even unwilling to listen to their customers, even after collecting a one time payment from them.

Prices are not updating
Hi developer today I trying to trade on options but price changes are very slow. Compared to other apps like Dhan and Zerodha live prices are needed for every trader. I am seeing past reviews every time we are developing, we resolved if you resolved the problem why it is coming again and again same problem. If you need to sustain in the stock market every trader need fast data that is missing in your app. People like app when you satisfy their needs, here we need Not only saving brokerage, we need profit on trades. If we loose the money we will go for another flat form. You need to develop so many things like GTT, stop loss order and trailing stop loss. We need those if the development is slow in your side. That why people not using the app. We are new to flat form but you need update as soon as possible other wise you will loss Prasant traders also. This are suggestions. Solve the problem without repeating again again. All the best

Respected Sir, This is to say that I placed my first order on m stock yesterday, after placing order it said your order was not successful, I searched in pending orders also, it displayed no pending order, after 5 minutes I again placed the same order, again it displayed not successful , I saw my balance funds which was also displayed very late, again after 10 minutes I saw my that the orders which were not successful were purchased twice, This is not fair, M stock app is to lagging, please sir kindly improve it, I’m having high speed broadband service, I have never seen such lagging, next I have to be very cautious while placing orders,I tried calling your toll free number but but no body even picked my call, kindly look into this matter at your earliest

M stock
I paid fully for zero charges trading and shifted to mstock for all my option trading needs. But now i have exited the app as there are many shortcomings which have led to losses. The app UI isn’t as efficient as groww. It has faced technical glitches on more than 2 occasions in the last few days. I could not exit my position just because i wasn’t getting the OTP in time. That took away the freedom of choice from me. I have thus withdrawn all my funds and gone back to Groww. I have to pay more than 50/-for one pair of buy and sell, but at least i am able to exercise my trades and make profits. Mstock is still in nascent stages, and needs a lot of improvements. More than that, the UI isn’t there top notch, and steals from you the efficacy to make your timely moves that is a prerequisite if you are into options trading. I recommend this app only for cash investment. Not yet good enough for options trading derivatives where the app needs to match the speed of your mind as well as finger. It is scary, tapping on the table, waiting for the app to respond while the need to enter or exit is the uttermost!!!
