TOO much data picked, compulsory location sharing
Look at privacy policy, they pick much more information than required. They compel to allow location access, without that you can not use App. Their reply would be that they need it for sending cook; but for that address can be given manually. I fail to understand why do they need access to contacts on phone? BE CAREFUL TO USE.

After rescheduling the trial for 5 times, I have given up! The chefs just don’t show up. And we have to follow up for resending a replacement which again doesn’t show up. No proactive response or checks I place. Would not recommend.

Chefs available only for Gurgaon and Noida
Request you guys should be clear from the beginning that this app is restricted only to Gurgaon and Noida. Therefore make sure you are promoting to these specific regions and not the entire India as Residents from other states will find it useless, unless these chefs are available in their states, cities and towns too.
make you advertisement and promotions with region specifications right at the beyond at eh end of it.
It's sheer waste of time to download the app and get to know that the app doesn't cater to your needs.

I booked a cook from ChefKart and the phone of the chef assigned was switched off since the beginning.
There is no option to call or get a callback from any support executive in the Chefkart app.
Tried reaching out to the support via the chat but the executive seems to be uninterested in resolving the concern and there was quite a high delay in the responses.
Ultimately the booking was cancelled by Chefkart.

Worst Customer Practices
I was using the services for last 8 months and all was going well. And suddenly in Jan when I was trying to renew the plan, they changed the plans and bumped the prices and that too twice. I was paying 13500 for 4 months coz I gor a month free, but now they are asking 6k for 2 people lunch and dinner. I mean what kind of practices do you follow. Is this the culture you guys live? I checked with your cook and he said they are not aware of any price change. I mean thats how these guys work, in the name of Made In India, they have hiked the prices. Very very bad experiences.

Pathetic experience, extremely unprofessional cooks. No track by the company about their whereabouts, i applied minimum 45 visits absence in 1.5 months and the company is least bothered about the customer’s pain and their cooks absence. Everytime chasing helpdesk for a cook or Temporary or Permanent Replacement.
No sync at all. I requested 4 times to refund my money, although they canceled my subscription, but the money has not come yet, waiting for the same.

This is a great thing by Chefkart. One time cook will save us from eating out when our regular cook is absent. We liked Sarita as she was polite and knew her stuff. She made good food as asked. I have been their customer since 2021. It has been a good experience so far. I came to gurgaon and was in chaos for 2 months due to inconsistent food. I used to order online continuously but food was very disturbing. I subscribed to subscription and then it was all worth it. I am having same cook since then and he had been a part of our house. Good app turned into a scam
The service was good initially until they decide to change the policies for existing customers as well. They promised a 3+1 month on 3 months payment, but when the full amount was paid, they later called everyone and cancelled the extra one month without giving refunds. They stated that they have lack of funds, on the contrary their founders were flexing the revenue and leads generated from “chefIT” service. Their cooks also take you granted after few months and start taking leaves without informing you. They will not give you replacement for that, instead they will ask you to pay 250 to book chefIT for 1 meal. Hence, its the scam they have decided to convert into.

Good concept with major misses!
The fact that we don’t have to worry to find a chef is great but what after that??
If you have found the right chef then the experience is awesome but if the case is otherwise then it’s a big hassle for the customer. Some of the chefs are not well trained.
The reason we hired one was so that we just tell them what needs to be cooked and they do the rest but the chef keep asking what all ingredients need to be added and how much, which involves a lot of my time. That’s not what I signed up for. Honestly I have to give in more time than the time it takes me to cook. Once or twice is still fine to understand the taste but it’s otherwise. You guys really need to up your game before you loose customers.
Btw this is not based on one chef, multiple experiences with different chefs has got me to writing this!

Pathetic and unreliable service
Chefkart over promises and under delivers.
Their chef stopped coming citing time issue and Chefkart couldn’t provide even a single replacement even for trial.
It appears that they have only a few empaneled chefs and a customer has to be really lucky to find a good one who can work for long.
To add, they have not processed refund for over a month.

Worst services and policies.
Chef kart service and policies are so bad for any customer 1. They just inform the customer on the same day when the chef is not available , Example- (they will message you in morning that chef will not come today) even if the chef is planning leave for weeks. 2. In the absence of the existing chef( beyond the allowed leaves) either the customer have to pay each day extra to get the temporary chef or they will ask you ro extend the dates else the only option is to change the chef ( you have to pay for the chef trial as well). 3. The biggest fraud, they change there services and policies any given time and they don't intimate to consumers either through SMS , Email or any other mode. I would recommend each one of you who is using the services to get this clarity before because they don’t call you back , customer care is of zero help, No escalation metrics.

Pathetic services, paid for trial and no cook turned up
Series of events where to start , I do not know. 1. No one picks the call on Chefkart contact number, tried multiple times and on consecutive days, with no luck and no call backs. 2. Booked a cook for trial after paying on the app, the assigned chef kept saying she is coming( timing we’re 7:30 pm), and after follow ups she calls at 8 pm and says she can’t turn up. 3. When the cooks doesn’t turn up , no alternate solution provided by Chefkart and no one available on customer support number or support chat on app. 4. While all this , the call still shows scheduled even after a day. 5.apparently only customer should cancel this Napier of the fact that cook did not come. 6. On rescheduling the cook, for another day which is today, chef did not turn up as she says it’s too far off from her place and yet no information from Chefkart side. In short all the promises and claims are FAKE, rather it is a disappointment! I will never recommend this to anyone!!

They assured me that it was taking longer to find a home chef but they will find the best one suitable for my family. They actually found the perfect cook. The payment procedure is effortless. Whenever it’s time to renew my subscription, they just send me the link for payment. They also update the same on their App. So, I never forget to make the payment on time. They also give you buffer time for the renewal. The cook assigned to us was cooking well but taking hell lot of leaves, and even though they promise temporary replacements when leaves exceed two, the customer service is non responsive and replacements assigned dont come on time or dont come at all. If you want to enjoy Ghar ka khana/Especially food with a feel of mom's recipe Chefkart can help you with it. I have been staying away from family for the last 3 years. Every day was a struggle when it comes to food. Either way, eating junk food or unhygienic oily food ordering from different restaurants. A friend of mine advised trying Chefkart. And there when I requested a trial and today it's been 8 months I am using their services. Yes, ups and downs are always there. Sometimes replacement is not available at times the cook comes late but this is how the company will get experience and improve. I have seen many negative feedbacks for the company, which could or couldn't be right. But my personal experience with chefkart has been really good. As I am eating everything of my choice, eating fruits, salads, and different types of Cuisines.

I hired a home chef from Chefkart in Jan, after that my hassle of preparing food and looking for different options dauly has been resolved and i get time to do my own stuff and eat healthy food everyday. Yes there have been a fee issues but they got resolved and the resolutions are satisfactory.

Be Aware Do not get trapped in this SCAM FRAUD
This is completely fraud company. When I called them first time they provided a trial cook and the moment I made payment things changed drastically no one coming for any day after that. I kept following and raising tickets no response. I request Apple Store to remove this fraud App from their platform so that innocent people can be saved from this BIG FRAUD.
I urge all who got cheated to drag them to consumers forum to get our hard earned money back. I am going to lodge a complaint against them.

Not value for money
The customer care services are pathetic, they will never call back and multiple tickets are required to get a single call back from the support team.
I was given a permanent cook who came for 10 days and went on leaves for 15 days. I requested for a temporary cook for the rest of the month however chefkart started sending different cooks everyday(that too a diff cook in the morning and evening). This was really frustrating and caused lot of inconvenience.
Also the temporary cooks are the cooks who are not willing to work, you will have to followup with them.
This was discussed with the support team multiple times however the situation remained the same.
I paid for the entire month and had to order food from outside for most of the days.
I will not recommend anyone to get chefkart subscription.
Lastly, they will convince you to get a quarterly subscription as they are giving one month free subscription in that. But i would highly recommend to stick to monthly subscription as they will start ignoring your concerns once you pay for the quarter(as they did in my case).

In the last five months my cook hasn’t turned up for weeks three times now. Even after raising multiple complaints no temporary or permanent replacement is arranged. No response to tickets raised. But they will call and message you multiple times in a day when the due date to renew payment is near. Worst customer service and no answerability towards customers. DO NOT OPT FOR CHEFKART. I have had to order food and waste so much money because there have been so many uninformed leaves and no one cares even after you reach out to them on a daily basis. I have requested to end my subscription and give me a refund but it’s been over 2 weeks no still no action.

Some bunch of Frauds are Running this Company
Pathetic is the word for them… Don’t ever try Chefkart. Immediately after paying, you will have to face the hell because of them… If you pay for premium cook- then they’ll send non-premium cooks and if you go for Popular plans they will send some labor guy at your home who never cooked. Plus all their cooks just want to work directly and not through Chefkart as they don’t pay. Miss communication and worst customer service, their angers have no clue what is happening. On asking for refund- they will never refund and you have to fight for it- don’t know till how many years… it’s better to keep someone directly as Chefkart is just being run by a bunch of frauds and liars who have no mood to work but just take your money . If you don’t want your days full of anger, negative energy then don’t even opt for Chefkart.

Worst- Never Trust them
Their agents, their CEO, their cooks, everyone is just not interested in working. Very very poor services. You will take the subscription and their cooks will either run away, misbehave, ask for more money or they’ll leave. Their agents are non supportive and does not reply until you write to their Co-founder. Finally the co-founder will also stop replying because he doesn’t know what to do. Hence you may call it a scam or they are just here to take your money without services.

My experience just in 15 days was very annoying and painful. They send you a cook who goes on leave after a week. Then they provide you temporary replacement. Every day they send a new person to your house who is not punctual on time. They change timings on their own. Their customer executives don’t listen to your issues and they just stop replying.

I have had one of the worst service experience with this company. Many other users have pointed out the issues and I agree with all of them, they don’t have any control over ground operations. Customer support has no idea about actual operations, they just pass the information and forget. Frequent uninformed leaves, chef changes, low grade temporary replacements, useless app, etc etc.
I would request you to stay away from this company, complete waste of money. They will promise high at the time of subscription, once you subscribe all of the promises vanish in thin air.

Most annoying experience one can have every morning when you wake up!
1. They do no have any control or verification of peope they send. One cook misbehaved early morning when I was to start my day.
2. They do not send the cook on time- they ask and promise 9 AM even after you tell then you need earlier. They say they can’t do it before that. Once you agree to 9 Am, person will come at 9:30 Am! What a start of day.
3. They fail to understand that mornings are pristine for everyone. Nobody wants to hassle early morning. They commit the cook would come next morning but guess what cook never comes. So you either hassle with your own breakfast or keep calling the cook why is he not coming or keep complaining them!
4. Their team is only worried about minting money, keeping the revenue up to get VALUATIONS! customer satisfaction is not even a KPI for them.

Really bad experience
It’s only been 20 days that I joined Chefkart but m experience has been nothing short than a mental torture.. in this period, I have had 4 different cooks + 9 time leaves from cook + amateur cooks + teaching cook everyday and standing with them to get the food + struggling with customer support every AM-PM… and to add to the trauma worst sort of management from Chefkart.. from them not able to send any cook at my place to sending 2 cooks at my place.. the managements support was zero throughout this period.. finally when it wasn’t possible for us to take the trauma any further we cancelled the subscription after which our cancellation refund was also only half returned.. This is the worst service.. pls refrain yourself from joining them and save your money guys..

Very annoying. Not good.
Im currently a customer of chefkart. Had to change two cooks innitially. The cooks are unaware of the price and ask for extra money. The cook they have provided now never comes on time, never picks up calls, there is no communication channel to update or ask about cooks. The app does not work. My cook has already taken 3 leaves this month and i cannot update it on the app. They ask you to raise a ticket on the application, but will take a week to respond on it. I still get calls for the tickets i had raise 2 months back. Its just annoying. Its better to hire cooks from your local society references

Not worth the money and time
If the company doesn’t get its act right, I don’t see a long journey for them. First of all, they don’t provide Chef as the name of the business implies, these are the cooks who provide service in your neighbourhood, they hardly know how to cook basic everyday food. If the cook as a person is good, you can train them and continue with the service.
You don’t get any support from the company once you are onboarded with the subscription, you do the chasing but won’t get resolution. My regular cook has taken two weeks leave and they have assigned three temps in one week who don’t show up at all. And when you talk to customer support they will put the blame on the cook and won’t take any responsibility.
They don’t provide the Star Chef and Deep Cleaning offered with the package if you want them you do the chasing. And frankly it’s not worth the time.
If one has to suffer all this on daily basis it’s better to hire the nearby cooks who will be cheaper and you won’t get stuck with subscription.

The app doesn’t work, neither does the cook.
I do not recommend using their services. I have been trying to access the app to complain about my absconding cook, but to no avail. Their customer care telephone nos. Do not work either. Save your money, this is not a service to be trusted!

Maid would come for probably a couple of times and be good so that you are well invested in this. And then the leaves start.
The worst part is that chefkart really doesn’t care about retaining you. They want your money for the initial subscription. Then they ghost you.
Try calling from a registered number. No one answers and the queue is always 1.
Now try calling from a new number and pretend that you want to subscribe. And you will get callbacks and texts immediately.
A company forged to SCAM.
Save yourselves.

DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY
I have subscribed to chefkart since January 2022. My experience has been painful and annoying. Initially they will send good cooks for trials but as time passes the cooks begin asking for extra money. They take a lot leaves and blame the company for it. If you call the company 90% of the time no one answers their call and if they do they act as if they're unaware of it. It's difficult to get hold of the customer care folks and they're least helpful. I have changed 3 cooks in 3 months. They can barely resolve issues. The tickets you raise are never resolved. I feel I have wasted my money because for the past one month I have ordered food because of the irregular cooks and mismanagement of the company.
Coming to quality of cooks. Most of their temporary cooks make good Food, but permanent ones don't. The permanent cooks try extorting extra money from customers all the time and don't pay attention to food preferences of their clients. I'd advice to hire cooks from trusted sources and not Chefkart. Chefkart will only listen to your concerns when bill cycle is due.

Worst service
First of all they lie, they say on the app that basic chef is 4 years experienced and premium chef is 8 years. We took basic chef, turned out to be a young college girl with no experience, just trying to earn side income. So completely useless it turned out. Just building an app doesn’t work, they need to verify and train the chefs. After this we again tried for a second time, this time the trial chef did not even show up!!! Now you can understand what kind of service it is..they will close down soon.
