Poor experience
Hi, it has not worked for me .I have a Tata Play fibre installed and my monthly recharge of 1062 which is supposed to come with multiple OTT subscriptions but I have not been able to even use one of them.Every time I login into Tata Play Binge with my registered number it asks me to buy a subscription plan separately. I have raised the issue multiple times but their customer support is highly unprofessional and they keep transferring the call from Tata Play fibre to Tata Play Binge and vice versa saying this is not our issue. The same troubleshooting steps that they ask to follow every time but they have not worked and they keep repeating the same every time on call inspite of me telling them that this has already been done. This is very frustrating and I have stopped trying for months and have bought separate plans for OTT viewing. I cannot subscribe to a cheaper plan without OTT because then Internet speed will go down .

Worthless app, worthless service
Half the functionalities don’t work on the iOS app. The customer support is nonexistent, ill-informed of the functions, and only wastes time. First, they removed SonyLiv from the bundle without any information. Then, I have not been able to choose a replacement app even after months of trying and complaining. I was told that for this simple functionality, I need to borrow an android phone from someone and then do it (which doesn’t work as well). There is no way to track the status of complaints, no way to add further details to the complain through attachments, even though the customer support agent says there is. There is no way to rate the chat with agent or provide feedback. There is no way to escalate the complain, except for the empty assurance from the agent without any real action. Feel cheated and fed up.

Update: I was told that I am the only one with this request but I found on AppStore reviews that there are many many more people who have asked for binge enablement in Apple TV 4K box.

There is literally zero customer support here and the app fails to load live matches so frequently.
Even after raising complaints there is zero follow-up from any customer service personnel. It failed to load UEL final when Sony Liv application did not have any issue. I feel like I have wasted my money here even if it was just 150 INR for the sports subscription for a month. Don’t tarnish the TATA name like this.

Tata Play Binge on LG Smart TV – Inconsistent Experience for Motorsports Fans
I subscribed to Tata Play Binge specifically to stream motorsports like F1 and MotoGP through FanCode on my LG Smart TV. While MotoGP live streams work perfectly, watching F1 has been a frustrating experience. The app shows F1 events under FanCode, but when trying to play the stream, it throws an error saying “Content unavailable on this device. Please use the Tata Play Binge mobile app.”
This defeats the purpose of having a smart TV app if key content is restricted to mobile only. It’s disappointing, especially after paying for the plan. Tata Play Binge needs to clearly communicate these device limitations or better integrate with FanCode to offer a consistent experience across platforms.

These people don’t understand the customer’s wavelength. Exactly at the start of IPL 2025, have removed JioHotstar from the ott’s list. As i made mistake while selecting ott on the flexi light plan. Canceling the current plan and going for new plan will be better but each you are charging the extra amount by saying that for upgrading the plan. I was using the binge from past 1+ years and the provider removes some apps in between without any updates and this will stop the binge to work. I have made a payment for subscription. Payment got successful though bank and amount debited but after that showing error as payment failed.
I tried 4 times though different payment methods and different banks but still same.

There is no option you can play next video when a video ends for example if episode 1 of season 1 ends you have to go back to the series section and select next episode

Lacks Key Features for Immersive Experience
Tata Binge Play needs several improvements to enhance the viewing experience. The app lacks IMDb or any other ratings, making it difficult to decide what to watch without switching to a browser. It also doesn’t offer a fill-to-zoom option, preventing full-screen content viewing. Additionally, the absence of background video or Picture-in-Picture (PIP) playback support limits multitasking while watching. Incorporating these features would significantly elevate the app’s usability and overall enjoyment.

On tv firestick we can watch SonyLiv in 1080p through the same plan but Mobile and PC limit playback to 540p, no higher options, not even 720p. Setting video quality to High does not help and they don’t let you set exact resolution on mobile app or website.

Worst experience, not able to watch live match on sonyLiv
I bought subscription for watching India vs Zimbave Series on SonyLiv but after subscription app is not working, whenever i click on play button it shows SonyLiv logo and App close automatically. Immediately cancelled future subscription and auto payment, please improve it so that we can continue our subscription. Hoping for improvement as i have lost money and still not able to watch match which very disappointing.

Subscribed Tata Binge on 2nd May 2024, unable to view the contents
I subscribed to Tata Binge OTT content on 2nd May 2024, unable to view the channels as per the Subscription. Customer care executives were unable to resolve the issue and sent a technical representative, who was also unable to resolve the issue and advised to complain to the higher management. Accordingly made a number of calls and emails to the Tataplay support team and Tataplay nodal officer, for more than a week no response from the Tataplay team very pathetic and painful situation to note from the TATA GROUP.

Worst app
Worst app I have ever seen in my life….tata products or services nothing is up to the mark sorry for saying this but this is the truth not against Tata I know it’s Indian brand but they are worst in making things what a worst app this Tata play binge is very disappointed don’t waste money by subscription through this app by it directly through ott they are better and the price difference is not to much only a little difference in price makes your experience better….

Waste app don’t go for it
I have subscribed to one month plan payment is done but in the application it is still showing subscribe. There will be no support team to help you out of any issues. The email address is also waste it is only for name sake no use of it.
I raise a complaint 5 days back no use.
I mailed to them but no use
So please don’t buy this tata play binge subscription plan. If you your money will wasted .

Worst app which is designed to steal customers money!
Its been almost 6 months i have been using. Initially it was good and then every app will say no subscription then customer care tajes a week time to address. Till now EROS now channel is not working and when asked they say its their app issue. Without notification sony live became out of tata play bundle. They are cheating customers. Jio and mx still shows ads so no point of subscription. I will never going to use this app. Ridiculous and frustrating app.

Looks it’s Fraud app
When I take new connection from TATA sky, local installation person was forcefully insisted to take subscription for Tata play binge App, he said with out subscription this app, Tata sky will not active and it’s only one month and he said later you can do un-subscribe. But there is no option in mobile app for Unsubscribe and web application also there is no option, looks they are cheating customer and loot the customer money, even I have given complaint to customer care multiple times but no use. And they deducted monthly from my balance.

Does not work properly
Last month I got your app subscription and after that whenever I open the app it does not work, all I get is blank screen. So, I have to use my browser to view the content which is kind of frustrating coz it takes so much time. Apart from that, the viewing experience in the browser is not very good. please do something about it.

Poor videos quality
I have been using the app since a week, video quality and screen ratio is really very poor on the mobile application and particularly for SonyLiv and Zee5.
Hope you guys will consider this and fix it soon!

App is freezing
I tried opening the app several times but it freezes at the launch menu.
I couldn’t open the app even once. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still the same issue is happening. Hope it is resolved soon.

If you are using it on phone dont buy the subscription
I use it on my i phone. And i havent had such a bad user experience on any app. Like the video buffers so much although i have perfect internet speed. The user interface and the app is just bad. I would rather pay extra and get the particular app’s subscription to smoothly stream whatever i am watching. You cannot watch a movie on this thing. It buffers like every 10 seconds and it plays in such a jerk-ish manner its just very unpleasant experience. And only 10 useful apps are there out of 26 rest i have never even heard the names of. So yes overall not worth it.

I would not suggest to download this app because it advertise that you will get subscription of 15 OTT app but after subscribing you come to know that it does not provide the access to entire contents in those app but only some features and limited contents which are provided by those apps for free for example on Disney hotstar you will need separate hotstar subscription to watch live match or live contents. similarly for the other apps also you will have to subscribe separately then what is the purpose to subscribe for Tata binge we can already use these apps with individual subscription.

Many ott apps not working
In last 1 month I called your customer care 6 times about hot-star subscription.. but till now they couldn’t solve the problem..and every billing cycle you are charging same amount..this is not a good work ethics for a big service provider like you . This like You are looting somebody’s money and provide nothing.

Waste of Money!!
This app doesn't deserve a single star. There are lot of critical bugs in this app. Many OTT's app ask for subscription even when we have recharged the binge combo pack...this has happened with me for apps like zee5, hotstar and sony liv. Constantly i have to raise a complaint to get it working. But even after resolving the issue occurs again. Tata play needs to seriously look into this critical

Worst app ever
This is the worst app ever I came across. Asked me to pay for zee starter pack.. I paid the amount to watch Pitchers S2 but I just couldn’t access it..it says you need to have a premium membership..then I assumed that the show is new and it might be asking for zee subscription so I tried to watch other old shows…but these people have took my money and fled away. Don’t install and waste your money.

I have an tata play dth and binge subscription also but I have taken as different subscription but these people are debiting automatically from tata play dth to binge subscription without my permission and I raised complaints but they was not given correct information and keep saying to me we ll debit automatically like this so am going to raise a complaint to cusumer forum

Give something to the people who already having an tata play subscription
In detail you people mentioned that watch free movies etc i know this couldnt be happened, but the customers those who have already tata play subscription set top box at home give them some concession or free content. There is no difference between the non tata play subscribers and tata play subscribers, i login through my RMN but every time they asking for extra subscription , i think there is another apps or dth providers with free app subscriptions..

Bad software and service
Since upgrade to TATA Play software, this set top box became very slow and hangs every now and then. You keep on pressing the buttons on the remote and it doesn’t respond. Suddenly it starts responding to the remote clicks and goes on and on inside the home screen menu. I lost my lot of balance because the clicks it responded later ultimately subscribed to unnecessary channels and subscription. Don’t buy this, better go for earlier set top box.

Pathetic service
I had a dish issue and asked for technician. He came fixed one issue and he told me that there is a offer on fire tv stick. I told him then and there itself i do not need that. He said ok and went away. After some time he called up and asked for an otp. And some how he has activated zee starter pack on my pack. I raised multiple times that I do not need it and they are not deactivating it from there side stating they cant do that. I tried to deactivate from my side and it’s not happening. I did not expect such a low quality service from technical guys at tata play.

Works inconsistently
Hi team,
I have binge+ subscription and I encountered issues several times with couple of OTTs doesn’t work either in TV or in the app. Since long time I was having issues watching live sports telecasted live on Voot. I am unable to watch it in TV as well as in this app. Customer service has absolutely no idea on how to make it work. Recently I could also see same issues with live sports being telecasted in Sony liv. I could watch it in tv but app don’t even give me the option to view that live match. It is very annoying to see this app lacking consistency.

I m extremely happy to use the BINGE as it allows me to plan my day as per my need without losing my favourite shows. It’s a wow feature that I can watch my favourite shows at my convenient time. Thank you!!

Good but spotty without effective support
It is a great app when it works. I have a subscription to binge+ box and the app. At times, some OTT apps don’t work on both the device and the app and the customer service has no idea how to fix. They sincerely try call back and try many things, but no effective solution to the problem. Very disappointing after paying so much for the device and services.

Zee5 doesn’t work
I have been using the binge connection for almost a month now. All the mentioned apps work except Zee5.
The screen keeps on loading and then suddenly disappears.
A request to resolve the same has been raised multiple times but haven’t heard a positive solution from them yet.

If It’s up to me this would be zero star
Guys beware of this service as they just sms it that your subscription has been activated even though u did not ask for it or request it and when ask for refund then they say it’s not possible due to our policy I don’t see why u don’t allow refund if we don’t want your services who we didn’t ask for it in first place. This could only mean that your service didn’t find any buyer

Guys please don’t download this app …. By giving free trial they are making fraud to you they will deduct the money from your account without your permission…..and it is not written anywhere in the app that it will auto debited from your account….These people are not educated enough ….I had a word with Mazia and she didn’t know where it is written in the application and they will ask you to cut the call but they will not ask you to deduct the money from your account

Epic on and Docubay
I have a Tata sky binge subscription. I can watch Docubay documentaries on TV . These are also searchable on the Tata sky Binge mobile app however when I try to play them the app only shows loading or just disappears from the mobile screen.

Very disappointing
The Tata Sky Binge subscription works so well with the TV but when it come to the app, it’s a bit no no. The latest content which should come on the app along with having the tata sky binge subscription, isn’t there. The episodes available are of a lot before and that isn’t fair because we’re paying for it and should have the option of seeing it on our phones too. Also the app should be made compatible with laptops soon if it isn’t yet since a lot of people binge watch on their laptops. Hope that Tata Sky takes this into consideration and makes sure the latest content of premium versions of the apps which comes with the subscription is available on the app too. Thank you

Video quality issues
I have a good net speed even after that I am unable to view in high quality.. Even after selecting high quality the video quality is very poor. Pls look into this..
