Faced problems initially, resolution took time, but they resolved it very nicely

Update - they replaced with a brand new fridge. The resolution was nice and prompt, they should work on resolving quicker, would’ve been good that way
Rented a fridge from them on a 3-month plan mid-Jan. The fridge had an excess cooling problem , I raised a complaint. They take 4 days for a technician to visit. The technician said he solved it, but the same issue started happening. Complained again - took 3 days to say he doesn’t have the replacement part, and he’ll get the fridge replaced. I raised a replacement request, to which they said they found the part and they’ll replace. This process took 5 days. Now the fridge isn’t cooling at all, I told the technician, and he will take 3 days. I’m just planning to return this, and rent again from Furlenco. They’re relatively more expensive, but their service is top-notch. With Cityfurnish, it’s 20+ days and I’m just chasing their support and technician for a product I’ve already paid for. Better to protect your peace of mind over trying them out, a strong no for any kind of electronics renting

Good products but worse service

It’s been soo many days since my washing machine stopped working properly. Creating service request, talking to agent, nothing seems to be getting there attention. They care only if you raise pickup request. Once they make the sale, they don’t care and we are on our own.

Scam on the Security deposit money and customer assistance on call

One of the worst rental services with no customer assistance on call. Service requests were completed without attending. Even after returning the item within the rental period, rental bill was generated and received multiple autogenerated payment reminder call. This might be a scam to avoid returning the security deposit money.

Worst service and untrusty-Defaulters

These people have shown the front load washing machine as a available product and took the pre-paid amount for it. Post scheudling the order, these poeple have not delivered and not picking up the calls and sending notifications that product is out of stock from last 10 days.

Fraud Company

When I was placing the order, I wanted the option to pay monthly rent, as this is a standard practice followed by most other rental companies. However, there was no monthly payment option available, and I was forced to pay the entire one-year rent upfront, which itself was disappointing.
Later, due to an official transfer to another city, I had to close the subscription. To my shock, the company refused to refund the remaining 9 months’ rent, even though I had used the product for only 3 months. This policy is extremely unfair and customer-unfriendly, especially when the relocation was unavoidable.
Since the remaining amount was not refunded, I decided to opt for relocation instead. However, as per their policy, I was asked to pay an additional ₹3,000 just to relocate the same product—despite already having paid a large amount in advance. This feels like adding insult to injury.
At the time of placing the order, it showed free relocation, and there was no additional information provided. However, when checking the Help and Support section, it is mentioned that relocation is not free after six months.
It is also stated that if the subscription is terminated before completing the full tenure, early termination charges will apply. However, it is not mentioned anywhere that nine months’ rent would be deducted as termination charges.
Overall, the entire experience feels like a trap designed to exploit customers through rigid and poorly thought-out policies. Instead of offering flexibility or support, the company penalizes customers at every step. This is very poor service and gives the impression of deliberately looting customers rather than providing a genuine rental solution.
I am extremely unhappy with CityFurnish’s service and policies, and I will never recommend CityFurnish to anyone.

The only reason I continued is because their furniture quality and built is good. But the customer support is pathetic. The app is terrible. The amount of time and energy wasted on just trying to extend the subscription is ridiculous. But unfortunately I don’t have much options. Pathetic customer service

Cityfurnish took our money and haven’t delivered the products even after 1.5 months. Whenever we call their customer service, they put us on hold and then cut the call. This has happened 13 times. They are robbers and have stolen 1lac rupees from us. They should be sent to jail. It takes atleast 4-5 calls for their customer service agent to pick up the call, and then they’ll just say that we will call you back or put you on hold and then cut the call. These are just their antics.

Poor CS & refund is looking unlikely and displayed products are wrong

Cityfurnish team, where can I contact you as I have been trying to co-ordinate with your CS team since I received the order - A WRONG ORDER dated 16th July. Till date the CS team calls back but doesn't respond with a solution? Im nearing the next cycle and i dont wish to continue with a wrong product delivered. The photo is different and the received item is different. I wish to get a refund on that said item. Also, another item I received came with a broken ply that has been successfully been replaced after 10 days. I need a resolution for this wrong study table that I end up paying 800 every month, with all surplus charges while promoting it says 361 but thats to pay upfront 36 months. I took it for a minimum 9 months for trial period and not to mmy surprise your team hasnt contacted back neither on email nor on dahsboard neither on WA chats - everywhere Bot replying no human intercation just same templates for any question. and your delivery executive says every clients calls them for the same reason - this also points out how the delivery labour seems to be customer facing and feeling bothered about the frustrated clients reaching out to them but no body from your team. so many levels, this is wrong - my next email will be at a place you wouldnt want dear team! Just same copy paste replies everywhere without reading the question / problem / query!!!

Absolutely Horrendous Service – Avoid CityFurnish at All Costs

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Our experience with CityFurnish has been nothing short of a nightmare. Since December, we’ve been harassed with false payment reminders despite paying our rent before the due date every single month. Their app shows double rent because they fail to update previous payments, forcing us to send repetitive emails just to correct their own errors.
The final straw was our relocation request. We scheduled everything in advance, and then… nothing. No one showed up. I tried reaching customer care for five days—calls were ignored, disconnected, or passed around. Finally, after threatening legal action, we got a call from a driver. I travelled 40 minutes to be at the location, waited FOUR hours, called the driver 30–40 times, only to be told (after chasing him down) that the tempo had broken down “in the afternoon.” Funny, because he had just called me in the evening. I started recording the call, and he hung up immediately.
We had to personally track down the founder (Nirav Jain) just to get a response. We’ve now spoken to 7–8 different people, and still—NO solution.
This isn’t just poor service—this is sheer negligence, dishonesty, and harassment. No accountability, no transparency, and absolutely no respect for customers’ time or money.
Avoid this company like the plague. If this isn’t resolved, we’re taking this to the consumer court and making sure others don’t suffer the same.

Disappointed with Delivery and Customer Support

I placed my order nearly a month ago, and while the payment was successfully processed, there has been no update or attempt made for delivery since then. The expected delivery date shown in the app has already passed, yet there’s been no communication or resolution.

Worst service ever

I order refrigerator for 3 months and even did upfront payment, everything was fine until after payment then only they asked for KYC update, where they asked for my guardian’s 3 month bank history(Why would anyone share that to a random App). They should’ve kept these process before the payment, I would’ve never ordered otherwise. The customer support is the worst, I requested for cancellation of my order as it has not been shipped but there’s hardly any update in the App even though I already spoke to the customer executive twice. I totally feel scammed and irritated. I haven’t had such horrible experience with any App in my life. If there was way to rate in negative stars I definitely would have done that.

Bizzaaree and the worst experience ever

Hi all, i am writing this review so that in the future people who might wanna rent from this site will think at-least ten times … if there is any way to give leaser stars i would have given it ..
In the month of march i ordered a sofa set on rental basis.. which got delivered almost 3 weeks from ordered date which was not mentioned on the site. While delivering the order they delivered faulty pieces..i ordered 3 seater+ 2x1 seater..out of which the 3 seater sofa was broken on one side and single seater has different sizes and material.. after raising the issue they took almost a month to process the replace order of the sofa but instead of replacing the whole sofa they just replaced one single seater sofa which was not even the request .. i talked to multiple people over the period of last 3 months now and no one has helped me getting the right service .. they said they will be replacing the faulty 3 seater but still no replacement received at my end …
i have been renting furniture from different sites for a really long time but this experience was the worst… customer service is sooo soo poor that no one really supports …
Please do not opt for this site for renting your furniture .. its has been mentally charging for us a lot.

Terrible Pickup Service – Extremely Unprofessional

My experience with Cityfurnish’s pickup service has been nothing short of a nightmare. Once I raised a request to return the rented appliances, I expected a smooth process. Instead, I was met with endless delays, zero coordination, and absolutely no communication unless I kept chasing them.
Despite multiple follow-ups, the pickup kept getting rescheduled or simply didn’t happen without any notice. Their support team either gives vague responses or stops replying altogether.
It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with such unprofessionalism, especially when the return is supposed to be the simplest part of the rental journey. If you’re considering Cityfurnish, be prepared to struggle just to get them to pick up their own items.
Even this 1 star is too much for them.

Worst customer service

I believe a better customer service has major impact than just providing a service and then forget about it completely. My experience with city furnish has been the worst experience ever. Whatever date they give you for the delivery, it never happens on that day. I had to continuously call them and ask for the update about the delivery status. Worst ground team ever who have no idea about anything and work at their own convenience. Talking to them feels like i am giving them a service and they are my customer.

They show out of stock product on the app as available and once you book the product that is where the entire problem starts. They will torture you like anything in returning the money back. There is no sync between the teams . Some body is saying order is cancelled some body will say please stay on hold 7 days and we will procure the product and deliver it to you. Its a complete mess. We went to their warehouse to see the products live before comfirming the order and got a great service from their staff especially Himanshu. I paid for 12 months upfront but I feel like I just wasted my time & money by choosing City Furnish. I have been trying to reach out to the customer service executives but no response no help. I’m trying to get the products I already paid for and I’m not getting any help or response from them. Its a hassle to keep waiting like this. I will never ever suggest anyone to book anything from them. There are plenty of other vendors which can be chosen. Don’t waste your money, time and energy here. Not worth it at all.

Great Products, Poor User Experience

City Furnish delivered great quality products which were like new. Electrical appliances were also in impeccable condition. Installation process was also very smooth.
However, they did not deliver on the date of delivery and gave me information about vehicle breakdown very late in the evening which left me high and dry. This may be a one time thing and may be excused.
Their customer care experience is very poor and discussed things are rarely reflected in app and in the whatsap messages they send.
Their app is also glitchy and needs significant improvement in terms of functionality. You need to call the customer care for every small thing and wait in queue.

Worst Customer support

I have been asking for a refund for a defective wardrobe which I returned immediately. First of all the emailing doesn’t work because they don’t respond, then the customer support no. Doesn’t work because they don’t pick calls.
It’s going to be 10 days since I was promised a refund and till today I am waiting for it. Their app doesn’t have a customer support chat and even after multiple requests I haven’t gotten a response. Hence, I am writing it here in the hope of getting atleast some response from the team.

No support at all

I took some furniture and an on rent from city Furnish a couple of months ago.
Every month my RO will stop working I have to call City Furnish and then they call LivPure to fix it. It’s happening for the last 4 months consistently. When it happened last time, I told them to replace my RO because I can’t stay at home for one whole day waiting for their call to fix it.
It’s been a month, 10-15 calls, 5-6 mails and I still have no resolution till now. They are not even responding to my mail. Seems like this is just one of those scam companies where you do not get any support once you buy or rent a product.

Fraud

They have the worst service, there is no customer support. They’ll call you when its there need and if you have a concern they won’t pick up the call, no reply to the emails and WhatsApp msg. I ordered a tv and they delivered on 4th July 24 but the delivery agent forgot the installation parts so it was installed on 17th July and they are asking me to pay the rent on 1st august.
When you try calling them if you click for existing customer they wont pick up your call but if you click for new customer they will attend your call.
The bed deliver was also not fixed properly and no one has come to fixed it yet.
Please do not rent from them.
If you want to try rentomojo or bhaadpe or furlenco or anything but not this.
They wont let you cancel your subscription as well.

Horrendous UI/UX

I am not talking about the service they provide which might be horrible as well, just the app itself wasted so much of my time. Firstly, when the documents were uploaded they were not saved properly and I had to mail them to the company. After that they wanted a cibil report for which they claimed that they the feature of generating cibil report on the app itself which when tried did not exist ( at least on ios). I am pretty sure the next months are going to be tough.

Never been more annoyed by a renting company

Had no other choice rather than to resort leaving a complaint here. Been 10 days since I was supposed to get my furniture and I have received no update about my order. I have tried everything while talking the customer support. First I have to wait 30 mins before someone picks up the call. And I have talked politely, angrily but everytime I get promised that I will get an update from the team within a day, within an hour and then they just dissapear. I have done the payment and after that not receiving any update feels like cheating. I hope company is responsible enough to read app reviews and will get me my order. But highly disappointed with this unprofessional behaviour.

A lacklustre customer support team, do not rent from them.

The furniture is quite okay but the customer support is very poor. It was a huge hassle for me to get support. Every time I tried to reach out there was some delay on their end or a lack of interest in helping. This is why I decided to return the furniture and rent from somewhere else. When I called their team to return the furniture there was no response for an entire week, they didn’t even answer my calls. I had to book a service request from my end and that’s when they took a notice. They delayed providing me with service so much that they asked for an extra fee. They claimed that my rental tenure was over and I should pay them some extra fee for that. When actually they delayed the entire process due to a lack lustre customer support. While picking up the furniture and filter, their team spilled water in my house. The filter that they were packing spilled water all over the living room and they stepped on that. Their dirty footprints were all over and they did not even bother to clean it while leaving. When I asked them to clean the water, they denied and said this is how it works. In fact they even asked for some tip which is completely unethical. I would never ever rent from them again. if this is how they are going to treat their customer, I hope their business shuts soon.

Worst customer support experience I’ve came across

Whenever you try to reach out to the customer support team via IVRS - over call, it’s minimum that you need to wait for them for at-least 5-8 minutes. It’s really strange that we need to be in the way-long waiting queue in 2024 even, where other providers are really competing to provide the best and seamless customer experience.
If I talk about, getting the response from the Cityfurnish team over the e-mail. These guys take days-and-days to reply with a small piece of information.
Clearly it’s evident that, they don’t thrive to get connected with the customer to resolve their issues.

Substandard products and even pathetic customer service

The title says it all!! The products that was delivered were of highly substandard quality and they have made a huge mess of my EMI payments that’s deducting money even after cancelling their orders!
And their customer service is even more pathetic that they don’t respond to any mail or calls!!
Everyone wants to setup a beautiful home but this app/ service is simply not worth all this hassle and money.

I have ordered a fridge in the beginning and then a mattress and an office chair in next month. Besides the KYC policies that they have, I did not have any issues in terms of delivery. The delivery timing is good. The mattress that came in was brand new one and seal was opened in front of me. The rental cost is also affordable. Quality of the products is also good.

Hello, Team City Furnish I adore your audacity so much. Finally, after leaving a review on google and App Store , I received a call from Yogendra Rajput, one of your team members. He's calling to let me know that the furniture will arrive by Monday. I told him that because to Chhatt Puja, I won't be available from November 13 to November 19. Grinning, he tells me to hold off until the 19th. Since you guys promised that the furniture would be delivered in two days, I have, in fact, already returned all of the furniture that I had rented from Rentmojo. We have spent the last week sitting on the floor. Rather than providing the product, you people don't seem to care

How can I file a lawsuit against them?

If there is any blood marker to show how much mental harassment a person has suffered, then my values will be abnormally high. I am this close to file a lawsuit, and might file one within few hours if the situation stays the same. We rented an AC around 12 days ago. We got a defective item and were constantly calling the vendor to fix the issue again and again. The customer service is useless. Barely able to endure the scorching heat of Gurgaon, was almost at the verge of a mental breakdown, after a long week of constantly calling for a mere AC repair. We are not getting our money back. And now even if they replace the AC , the thought of going through the installation process again is itself traumatic. I am tired and just want to feel peace in this new city.

Hello Team, As much as I liked your products, there is a guy named Faizan, who keeps calling me more than 5 times a day as if I’m his girlfriend, asking me to do advance payment on the tenure extension.
If I keep getting these kind of calls again, I would definitely move with vendors like guaranteed or Furlenco!!!

Worst service provided till date

I ordered furniture (Sofa) on 23rd Jan and the KYC was completed on the same day and as per the policy the furniture supposed to get delivered in 4-5 working days but it wasn’t delivered even after 6 days. When I called the customer support for the tracking update, the agent told me that the furniture is out of stock and now it will take one more week to update when it will available.
They were providing me an alternative option which I didn’t like so I asked for what are the other option but she was not able to answer that and telling me the same thing again and again which was not helpful.
Though I already paid full payment at the time of placing the order and the product was available at that time but now all of sudden the product is out of stock and this was conveyed to me when I called after 6 days.
Worst ever service provided and the customer support I have ever received.

Prompt and Reliable

I ordered furniture and appliances for my rented accommodation. The booking was smooth, the company executives guided me through KYC verification and the order was delivered within 2 days of booking. The delivery staff was courteous and supportive, and their team promptly set the furniture and installed appliances. Their customer service is also prompt and prices were decent.
I would definitely recommend Cityfurnish to my friends and family.

Highly irresponsive of customers requests and disorganised management

I have been renting from them for past 2 months for the whole house. I would say I did a big mistake by going with this company.
The customer support is worst I have faced in my lifetime, they won’t respond quickly if you have an issue and once they respond their response is always “we will inform out team and call you back or email you back” but they never reach back. “NEVER”….their billing system is so clumsy, you won’t even know what are they charging you for (Auto debit) , if you ask them for clarity, they won’t respond.. below are the issues I’m facing still
- the Hugo sofa set is locally manufactured and cheap foam where you will feel the wooden frame if you sit on it
- Washing machine was leaking water since day one, after replacing it (which took 4 weeks) the same issue with the new delivered one (still leaking water)
- Microwave convention hasn’t been delivered even after 40 days of order and they charged second month rent too
- you can rent water filter directly from the Drink Prime. No point of having it from city furnish

Loot!!

I had order 4 no. of furniture on rent. While checking out had chosen the option for EMI for 12 months. But my whole amount was debited. I’ve tried raising a ticket but it has not been answered for the past 5 days. Have called their service number 5 times: twice have been put on extended hold, thrice have been assured by the executive that the finance or the manager will call back. Have not received a single call yet.
Just scared how these folks are gonna loot me when the tenure gets over. Request if anyone of you reads this can help me out here please. What would be the way to take this to the customer grievance office.

Order canceled after delivery scheduled

We had booked a 50inch smart TV on 9th of may, order was confirmed, kyc was completed, agreement was signed and order was scheduled for delivery. Now suddenly, yesterday i got an email stating that order is out of stock. Secondly no customer care executive is responding properly over the call. We have called multiple times but nothing happened. Very poor experience and service. I doubt they are even bothered about customer service otherwise the customer care team would not have been so pathetic

Big big fraud

I have requested cancellation many times and I have also received the confirmation of the cancellation promising we will receive the refund in 7-10 days but we have not received the refund yet!! Proceed with the refund ASAP!
I never received the Washing Machine and TV in the order. And RO which got delivered is not working as it has not been recharged from your end.
I am getting automated calls from you asking to clear the bill against the invoice generated this month. The invoice is for the items not even delivered to us in the first place. What kind of service do you have????

Stupid Product features on App

Data from website is noy synced with app. Autopay doesn't work. while paying one invoice you will be asked to redeem socalled CF coins . later an invoice willbe generated to pay amount of CF coins. and the stupidest thing is that you can't even pay that too as app shows outstanding amount 0 still. however you will daily get messeges and calls to pay . kinda stupis
