Despite my initial enthusiasm to support a local app, my experience with GATOES has been nothing short of disappointment.Their consistent letdowns have left me frustrated.Time and time again, my orders have faced inexplicable delays, and their delivery personnel's unresponsiveness has only added to the aggravation.This app has failed to live up to its promises, and I can no longer endorse it. I regretfully urge others to seek out more reliable alternatives like swiggy and zomato and support local businesses that genuinely value their customers.They don’t give a damm about their customers.

They have taken more than 40 mins on delivering my order. It has happened with 50% of my order till now. As I buy food regularly I prefer everyone to buy through Swiggy and Zomato, yes they have launched in Srinagar. First point to use them is fast delivery, second point better discount and premium packaging.

I’ve been waiting for my food from more than 90 minutes and their customer care person is just lying to me again and again from last one hour. They want me to call delivery guy and coordinate with him directly. Why the heck should I do that? What’s the point of customer care otherwise? I did a huge mistake of trusting these people, please you don’t do it. Save your money and don’t order from them.

They deliver very bad quality food. Mostly, 3 days old leftovers and microwaved food. Their delivery boys are rude and indecent. And, when you complain over phone/email, looking for solutions, they avoid your feedback and put your number in block list. I have been their customer from last 3 years now and that too, a regular customer. I used to respect them, but, now I don’t. Sad! Go for direct delivery. Almost all restaurants do it now.

Well ,Food delivery marketplace is thriving and rightly so . It has made our foodie lives easier. As for Gatoes ,Honestly speaking I see a number of Gaps. Main ones are : Delivery period , Presentation , Service , & restaurant Options . I have ordered twice and their was a major delay in the second order delivery. Based on my estimate , 30-40% delay gaps exist. Second , presentation of food is cheap . No branded packing , no addition from gatoes. Orders in delivered in aluminium pouches in plain bags . Not impressed. No standard exists. This is spoil entire experience. Thirdly , delivery boys ask for address every time . It seems they are not well versed in tech or either tech is not enabled for delivery team. Their is something called Geolocation ,mates ! Fourthly , good restaurants aren’t available on Gatoes platform . So option of dishes is limited. Lastly , what does Gatoes do to ensure quality ? Where is the refund /return system ? What if I don’t like the quality of the food ? What if I fall sick ? Maybe the minds behind Gatoes got to sit down and think . If the current thing continues , Gatoes won’t last longer here in Kashmir. Best wishes for the Team Gatoes.

I loved the efficient delivery service , also the staff is quite well mannered and polite. But I would like to suggest a few things:-
1. Please try to include more restaurants.
2. Most of the restaurants in the app do not have a separate section for beverages, cold drinks, etc which I think should be there . Nobody wants a dry meal.

I tried to cancel my order within 5-10 minutes of ordering since I had to leave urgently but a person namely Mr Qaiser (I was told that was his name) called and harassed me on the phone telling me “If I don’t have money, I shouldn’t order”
I had ordered food from this app before but surely post this I won’t be using it.
If this business wants to survive, they need to be very careful in their hiring process.

I just wanted to give it a try to check if this will actually work, but this is the closest you can get to zomato/swiggy in Srinagar. I absolutely love the app, it’s easy to use and everything’s amazing, from small coffee shops to the best restaurants, you can order anything within no time. Five star for the amazing service and kuddos to such an idea. Always wanted such an app for srinagar. Totally love it!
