Very poor customer support

My ITR was filed by the company. And later i got notice on ITR. There is no proper customer care for your issue to resolve. If you raise ticket, most probably you wont get a reply for months. They have very poor after sale service.

Payment for no work

First i login ,after payment of 3000rs only it allows gor further taxation. Then after my account information it asked for another 2000rs. After 15days tax buddy consultant asking for 25000rs for further tax audit and filing. If they clearly said this first i would not be wasted my money .

Not customer friendly

I been filing my taxes from 2023 via tax buddy first 2 years was very good one CA will be there assist our filing and do the follow up. But 2025 filing was very difficult due to AI chatbot. They entirely changed AI to filing. There is no human CA involved.AI chatbot not able to understand the question we are asking and no CA attending the query. Even though personally contacted and asked Human agent and i am ready to pay for assisted filing. Very poor response from tax buddy

Best Application for filling the ITR

I got in touch with Rashmita Choudhary via Google Meet meeting which was set by Taxbuddy and she listened to all my queries patiently and gave me a resolution to the problem in that half an hour call itself. Next day she shared the plan with me and within 1 hour my whole ITR was filled by her for the last 2 years. It was such a seamless experience. Exceptional support for ITR filing

My experience with Taxbuddy team for Income Tax Return(ITR) filing has been great.

Being an NRI, I had multiple capital gains entries including grandfathered trades, I also claimed DTAA benefits using Tax Residency Certificate (TRC), and my TDS had more than 50 nos entries which required reconciliation.

Priti Sirdeshmukh handled the filing process very patiently, clearly explaining my queries and has put in sincere efforts and hardwork even during peak filing time. My refund has been processed and refund claimed has been received in full.

Really appreciate Taxbuddy and Priti in particular. Highly recommended!!

Unprofessional, incompetent and careless service.

Their service is so poor that it compelled me to leave my first ever review on the app store in last 10 years.

- I paid for an assisted filing, even then I wasn’t important enough for them.

- The chat window remains open, no one replies.

- They call at their own convenience, not according to when you’re available.

- They promise you a time to call but don’t call.

- When they call, they aren’t able to answer basic questions and ask to get back to you (which they never do).

- If you call customer care, they say that there are too many requests to handle. Then they promise another call which again never happens.

- No one called, even when the deadline for filing ITR has passed. And remember, this was a paid service, I had already paid for it. Money wasted.

Tax Buddy is basically an app which connects you to an actual person via chat, and you interact with them through the app to file your taxes.

Person I spoke to was responsive and prompt and got it done for me in like 20 mins, though my process was fairly simple, and only for about Rs550

1. Case management: my case got reassigned to 3 different CAs, and guess what, there is no document management or KT being done internally. I had to share the documents and talk through everything THRICE

2. Quality of CAs: pathetic. I got super annoyed at the 3rd CA when he asked the same question for the umpteenth time in 2 days. He has since went MIA. If Santosh is the name of your CA then god help you

3. Quality of customer support

3a. Email: sent email on wednesday 9 am, and didnt get any response. friday afternoon when i called them the lady asked me to send an email. Clearly they dont read emails

3b. Phone support: the same lady above was highly unprofessional and seemed annoyed as to why i had called her. When i told her i have had to deal with 3 CAs she said "system mein to ek hi dikh raha hai" - of course point in time its one CA only. Then she asks me "aapne pehla CA kab assign kara tha" - as if i am the one assigning CAs to myself. Clearly they dont have any CRM.

DONT TRY AND SAVE 1-2k BY GOING TO THESE FELLOWS

Extremely convenient and seamless

Downloaded the app on the final couple hours of the due date. Their proactive approach was so great! Just after registering my account in app I was contacted and helped by CA Gyanranjan Das to file my ITR with minimal effort. They did everything with polite attitude and swift service. Recommended!

Pathetic Service

If it was possible for me to give a negative rating, I would have done same. I have never seen worse service than being rendered by TaxBuddy…the software utility has no functionality all you do is submit documents in a chat box which is picked up by some one at back office , who has no understanding of ITR filing, he / she will fill in the ITR in every possible erroneous manner and you are left on your own to check and correct the mistakes, there is no one to help.
