One can do nothing in this app except raising issues. I understand that editing and pushing code via the app may be a tough one to implement but the aforementioned features can be implemented at least!

The app is mainly for issues and pull requests. Most of the other third party GitHub apps have some sort of a News Feed similar to what is visible when viewed in the browser. This is the least that is expected from the official app.
