This used to be one of the best night photography app, however after the few update and new features that got added in last few months this has become the worst camera app, leave night photos it’s not even able to click day time photos with clarity.
The app is very slow, choppy, and even after doing all the effort and manage to click a picture it comes just dark black image with nothing on it. I would like to revert back to one of the older versions is there anyway I can do that ?

The quality of the pictures have dropped significantly, for the iphone XS after updating to iOS 14!!! Not sure what has happened bit most night pics turns out extremely blurry. Disappointed! Update - The camera absolutely dies not focus in low light scenario. Not sure what the issue is... Looks like I paid for the wrong app.
Update - Improved for a bit bit again the focus issue is there! The manual slider for focus does not work! This is an useless app!

Now coming to whats the difference between this app and the night mode available in iphone 11/12 is only in the overall quality and feel which is only like 2-3 percent different.

According to the reputation of this app on youtube , I downloaded it and know I am regretting . The camera UI lacks and very low light selfies are worst , I just can’t see my face ! The rear camera is good but still needs improvements . I hope the app developer will fix the issue and improve the selfie camera photos in low light as well as in very low light mode !

It is good app for taking photos in low light but during taking photos shutter is taking too much time for processing the image. I never thought the camera will take this much time to process.
I liked the iPhone stock app camera of its shutter time.
I request developers to work out on this and reduce the capture and processing time to beat other brand phones night mode camera.
Would have given 5 star but the shutter time didn’t liked. Hope in software update it will be resolved

I own iPhone se 2020.Initially before buying it, i was worried about its night mode unavailability.Then,i came to know about this app which after trying for 2 days i can say that its good but the exact worth the money it takes from the purchasers.Its little inconsistent when it comes to different lighting condition.There is noticeable amount noise in the pictures it takes.Therefore,it should be further optimised specifically for different models of apple phones.Lastly,i would say apart from inconsistent performance and little noisy capturing, it does give some low light shots which is way better than any phone in India worth upto 30000 minus pixel 4a.But dont expect the results of flagships like iphone 12 or 11 series.Their night modes are class apart.But yes it better to have a tool which allows your device to capture great pictures in dim light condition rather than depending on the iphone stock camera.

An iphone xr user POV :- For the rear camera, this app is something beyond words. Only for selfie cam, it struggles a bit. But i hope a few updates will improve them too. Overall this app will give you some fantastic results from the rear cam. Don’t expect any groundbreaking results as many premium smartphone brands still struggles to produce a grainy less night sight image. Go for this app blindfolded.

It works like magic.
On older iPhones, the hardware is pretty potent, but lack of software brings the broadens the gap.
This is where exactly NeuralCam Night Mode comes into play- it brings the software to older yet capable phones.
The results are as good as advertised in the Appstore - not overclaimed.

1. Lack of RAW.
2. Lack of long exposure (for starry sky, milky way, light trails etc.)

I am using this app from past 8 months on iPhone XR. It does the work nicely but there are wide areas of improvement specially on models which does not has inbuilt feature(Except 11 series)
1. Yes now 12 megapixel support is provided but it is not working properly on XR. 7 out of 10 times it closes the application while processing and 7 megapixel images are becoming blurry.
2. Image quality is degrading after every update and after updating to iOS 14 image quality has dropped significantly.
3. In initial release, the picture quality was lovely. But now seems it is not using AI properly , just brightens the images and blurring. I applied some editing using other applications by taking photo from Stock camera and then compared with Neural Cam and the results were almost same.
Please consider these feedback and provide new update. This app will be 5 start.

The developer should work more on the algorithms to enhance the dark sections of the image rather than simply throttling up exposures and reducing the noises. Not worth ₹399/-. Not at all correct to call it a Night Mode. Its just an Evening Mode. Moreover I am having issues with pitch black portions of the image where I am seeing multiple white dots in image as if there are starts. 😕

Recently updated to new version, unable to take any photo even on the lowest resolution, its crashing right after clicking on capture button. Please resolve it ASAP
My device iPhone 6, 12.4.7
Retested today. Its still crashing on my phone. Managed to click first photo perfectly fine but as soon I increased resolution to the highest and changed format to TIFF it crashed. Even after reverting to recommend settings after that its crashing. I fear I might not be able to click pictures when I really want them in future, it seems the app has become unreliable.

The viewfinder is very laggy at night time. There is a focus problem at night. There is yellow tint after capturing the pic at night. Must need to work upon night photography and focus control and viewfinder and yellow tint! And you should have zoom feature too!

The app claims to do so much but in reality, performance Isn't that good. There's no option to attach photos here otherwise I would have compared it to the stock app.
Issues:
1) Focus problem, the pic come blurred many times, especially the front camera pics aren't that sharp.
2) Night mode: just brightens the image without knowing what's in the frame. It brighten my white paper so much that I couldn't read what's written (stock app performed better). It shouldn't just blow out the highlights
3) Clarity and sharpness is lost if hands shake just a bit also. I think stabilisation should be improved (especially front camera)
4) Images are coming very bright yellowish, especially faces and street lights like stuff. Sometimes it becomes too blue and cold (basically white balance and colour science is off) &
5) HDR isn't at work like the stock camera app, as neuralcam temds to blow out bright light without preserving details in highlights.
Otherwise, it's a decent app. If they improve these things and include these features in the stock camera app somehow, the app would be a boon to iPhone photographers like me who doesn't own the 11 series iPhones. I'll definitely recommend this app to my friends if these issues are resolved.

The app lets you capture maximum of 7mp from the rear camera; when tried to capture photos of 12 megapixels, the app force closes automatically. Kindly fix this issue.

Used to love the app but with version 1.4, basic features like day mode are added behind a monthly subscription. Monthly subscription on an app for which I paid full price!!
Unlike apollo where the developer clearly mentioned why a subscription was needed for maintaining servers for reddit notifications, none of the features deserve a recurring cost. I understand that developers need more money for developing new features, but pro features should be behind one time IAP’s. Basic things like taking a normal daytime picture with a camera app should absolutely not be behind a paywall especially when the base app was paid.
The app has become a money grab. As the app is right now, I won’t touch it with a 10 feet pole.

I’ve recently purchased it and have been using for a week. I find the low light photos and day time photos of landscapes and things to be extremely good with this app. Colours are much more vibrant and attractive than taken with the default iPhone app.
However one gripe I have is that faces of people get overtly washed out and look cartoonish. I can’t keep using another app for people. So suggest the developers to look into this - please see the photos taken by Samsung S10 for reference.
Also had a query on why does the final image have a lower resolution than the default camera.
Overall I feel this app has a tremendous potential and thus this feedback for developers to make it even better

But i have a complaint though there was no need to lower the image resolution on XR since both XS and XR both share the same processors with pretty much of identical Geekbench scores . Leaving that the image quality is superb and loved “ it. Definitely worth buying it.

App is great in taking photos in low light . But then I have a XR and not sure how this compares with night mode of iPhone 11 .couple of things I hope the devs would look into is the long processing time ( minor issue ) and the yellow tint in pics .

Its the up to the mark or like the pictures they keep for the promotion, images are totally blur and cant use it when Do take your expectations too heigh as they they are showing the pics taken by a professional. Pics are too blurry .its dark should he atleast a tube light for it to make the picture 50% equal compared to stock camera. I recommend not to waste money on this.
Constantly crashes and choppy focusing

App constantly crashes while trying to process the images. Managed to get only a single shot out of the ten trials I took in extremely low light scenarios. Total waste of money. Also, the focusing and exposure setting is way too choppy when the light is less. It would be better user experience if they don’t try to show the exposure change in real time.

Doesn’t work on iPhone XS Max. Takes worse quality images compared to those taken with the original iPhone camera, just a bit brighter.
The normal camera photos can be edited in the photos app to be brighter that the ones taken with this app and still retain more detail.
I want a refund, it’s barely been more than 10 minutes since I bought this app and it’s useless.

I have iPhone X and no doubt that the camera on this device is just amazing but the little con is that it does not take that much of a great photos as compared to day time . But here comes a solution in the form of this app . This app helps to take great photos even in very low light conditions. It’s really worth the price and the recent update made it love likely to love this app . So I pretty much confident to advise this app to everyone who like to take night time shots .
But i also want to mention one and only odd thing I noticed is that most of the time it gives the photo a yellow tint , which i hope the developers may fix soon . Other than that it’s much close to perfect.
And yea , please do not compare this app to the night mode on the newer iPhone 11 series. That is just next level of perfection.

i am using Iphone XS Max . i wanted to upgrade to iphone 11 pro for night camera and wide angle . This app made me rethink about my decision . I bought for ₹249 Neural cam takes the night photography to next level . Shutter speed is little slow but results are worth . There is huge difference this cam and default night mode app. Front camera results are not up to the mark. It’s not as good as iphone 11 pro app or pixel app but for older phones this is definitely a great app to have .

I found your app very interesting. Been using it for last 3 days only but would have loved it even more if we had night mode on the portrait mode. That would made so much sense. But good going lovely app

This app is wonderful for taking photos in low light. However, the pictures could look more realistic if you get away with yellowish tint that make pictures look like a bit over saturated.

Well, I must thank you for coming out with an exclusive night mode app for iPhone. I use iPhone X but I lacked a dedicated night mode app for night photography. Neural Cam solves this problem. While it takes decent enough night photos illuminated without a flash or having to manually adjust the exposure, I feel the yellowish tinge on the night mode could be done away with. The photos then would be more neutral. Hope this feedback is taken up for fixing in the next update.
