The worst ott platform to ever exist
Feels like using a glitchy app. Subscribed through amazon prime for manorama max but doesnt let me use the subscription directly through theanorama max app. Ads pop up the second you open the app. Double screens pop up out of nowhere. U cant go back while playing a movie. Honestly someone vibe coded this application and did 0 testing on it.

Newest version not supporting chromecast
Tech team, Urgent update required. I have a yearly subscription. I was able to cast content on my TV with Google chromecast till the previous version. It has stopped working now. A white pop up would come up in the earlier asking to select cast option to screen. This isn’t there in this version. Also, another issue is earlier when we casted and went back to the content screen, the movie stopped and would start from the beginning again. Please rectify the same and release the same so we can continue to use the app. Inspite of subscription, not able to watch anything which is unacceptable.

Paid Subscriber Facing Critical, Unusable Bugs Across Platforms
As an yearly subscriber, I am incredibly disappointed to say that the Manorama Max service has become completely unusable on my primary viewing device, a Samsung M7 Smart TV, and is plagued with serious authentication bugs on iOS.
The app consistently opens to a persistent blank, black screen and never loads. Other streaming apps like Netflix and Prime Video work perfectly, so this is not a TV or internet issue. The problem is with the Manorama Max app itself.
Worse still, the app cannot be fixed. When I try to reinstall it from the official Samsung "Apps" store, selecting "Install" causes the entire TV to hang on a black screen, forcing me to perform a hard reboot of the TV by unplugging it. This indicates a deep file corruption issue that makes the app impossible to either run or even install, rendering my subscription useless on my main screen.
The iOS app is also riddled with fundamental bugs:
On my iPhone, the experience is equally frustrating. I have faced:
* A broken TV activation system where the TV shows a 6-digit code but the mobile app only has space for 4 digits.
* A "Forgot Password" process that fails repeatedly with "invalid code" errors.
* Most critically, the app failed to recognize my active, paid App Store subscription. The "Restore Purchase" button is completely missing, which is against App Store guidelines. I had to resort to a risky "fake purchase" workaround just to access the service I've already paid for.
To the Manorama Max developers: You have a paying customer who is unable to use the service on their TV and has had to fight through a wall of bugs just to log in on their phone. I have spent hours troubleshooting these issues. These are not minor glitches; they are critical, fundamental flaws in your application. Please investigate these bugs immediately, especially the installation crash on Samsung Smart TVs. Until these are fixed, I cannot recommend this service to anyone.

Avoid subscribing for premium content
Update !!! (see below for actual issue). The developer sent a usual response for my review asking me to send a mail to their support team. In fact I added the below review after waiting for 2 months since I raised the concern with support. I forwarded the mail again. It’s been a week and no response. So I think their response below is just a gimmick.
I have an active subscription but the app doesn’t let me watch premium content. It just loops through the subscription process every time I click on play button. Raised a complaint with their support, but no response even after 2 months.
