Why in the world would you mess up the UI of the APP?
I’m pretty sure I’m one of the oldest users of the app I was very happy with adobe fresco I would go on to say that it is one of the best drawing apps available on the App Store which got better with each update UNTIL THE MOST RECENT ONE. For some reason you guys decided to put the left hand tool bar on top and now I just have ALOT OF EMPTY AKWARD space in left. The settings in the app interface does not help at all cause you can not shift the toolbar from top back to left. AND ITS been idk how much time I literally can’t find the ruler anywhere in the new update. WORST UI redesign in the history of the apps, I’m having trouble navigating everything. WHY WOULD YOU MESS UP AN APP WHICH WAS LITERALLY PERFECT. Just to mention this is coming from a UI designer.

I love the app but the problems in this app is getting annoying
I really love adobe fresco and it’s easy to use but the only thing i really hate about this app is that it sometimes crashes which leads to two things….it either deletes all my work which i was doing at that time or that artwork/canvas doesn’t open after I reopen the app and doesn’t even allow me to delete it …it’s really frustrating to see my hours of artwork get deleted or that i can’t even open it so i hope the developers of this app take some action to solve this issue

Honestly this app is genuinely an insanely good alternative for professional apps out there. It’s UI is also super easy to work with.
But, the app size and file sizes are far too big, even on low res my iPad crashes most times trying to use it.

Abode Fresco is my favourite drawing + Adobe app
The team who designed/ is designing Fresco — thank you! This is one of those products that lives on my heart. I dare say I like this better than Procreate.
1. The vector brush feature is a GAME CHANGER. I haven’t seen any other app that has this feature (that’s free and easy to use).
2. Live Brushes too, they’re just SO MUCH FUN to work with and I love experimenting with them. That tactile and reactive feels that comes with it is so satisfying.
3. It’s free, which means it’s accessible to anyone with a tablet. As a person who started using this since high school, when I wasn’t earning by myself but just loved to immerse myself in creative activities on my iPad, I really respected that.
4. They’ve built an ecosystem around drawing into the app itself - very nicely organised tutorials, the live stream (never used this but seems great), discover and learn sections, etc. It’s really inspiring and immersive for creative.
A few improvements I would suggest:
1. A big one would be allowing to adjust the line/shape points after long holding to snap into a shape - this is very helpful feature I use often in Procreate but is missing from Fresco.
2. I find the gestures and intuitiveness of Procreate a touch smother and easier to work with. Eg. the two/ three finger hold to undo/redo multiple steps in a go. The menu items feel more accessible in Procreate, but it’s probably because I’m just more used to it by now.

Best watercolor app ever
I have been using software and apps for digital watercolours for years now, and by far Fresco has been the best. It took me some time to get the hang of the way the watercolour works, but what I could do once I got the hang of it, is easily one of the best experiences ever. My ONLY complaint, if any, is why this app is only for the iPad. I want this on my desktop!

Takes forever to get installed
It takes forever to just get installed on my iPad and if I click on the icon it just restarts the installation of the app which is very annoying and it is anyways so slow in loading. I downloaded the app yesterday night and it is now the next day and it still is loading. I don’t know how the app is yet because it is still downloading and it may be an amazing app but because it takes ages to load I don’t know anything about the actual app.

Good for Vector Freehand Drawing
The App is awesome, in the aspect of doing a freehand vector drawing as it feels very natural like you would a traditional piece of art. The only issue is the app gets glitchy and shuts off mid drawing. Also would like to see a feature to import a vector file or layer to a current art project via a new layer. It has crashed multiple times
I was working on an animation when it crashed, the animation was of around 180 frames, though I love the user interface and the simplicity of the controls, it is extremely frustrating to see the app crash WHILE you’re working on something, and because of that I lost some work I did and had to do it again.

Love the app but it has started glitching a bit
I have been a long time user of Fresco and this is the only art app I have on my iPad right now. However, I am noticing that the app has become quite laggy recently. It takes several seconds to register brush strokes sometimes (particularly live brushes).
For reference, I am using the 2020 iPad air.

A powerful competitor of Procreate
Adobe Fresco is really developing itself quite nicely. As a new app of Adobe, it does a descent job on iPad. You can easily trust this app, if you don’t want to buy Procreate. It is partly free app, and you can do use most of it. However there’s still some features need to be added.

Not a best alternative of procreate or affinity
I don't know why people love it so much. Here I am describing some serious issues that you may experience as a professional designer.
1) NO CMYK COLOUR PROFILE SUPPORT.
2) THERE HAS NO BIG USE OF VECTOR LAYER. Because it is far ahead of the necessary features from adobe illustrator or affinity designer. There have no features of the pen tools, pencil tools, compound paths etc. Also, the app will hang or slow down to operate complex vector illustrations.
3) The transform tool is a bad joke. The transform tool of procreating or affinity is much better than adobe fresco or adobe iPad photoshop.
4) There have no features to do storyboard illustrations like Procreate.
5) There has been no curve tool to previously adjust the colour and light balance.

Performance loss and not very helpful for Stippling artists.
I am a Stippling artist and I create images using dots. Adobe Sketch was pretty well in all aspects, simple and great in performance. Fresco has ruined everything. Performance is very bad when I start making dots, app cannot catch up with my speed dots are drawn after few seconds and some dots are missing. And worst thing is I cannot take my projects back to Sketch. Very disappointed. Will stop using fresco, no use for any Stippling artist like me.

This is the best app I have come across for drawing, painting and creating beautiful digital art. It has the most easy user interface. Since I bought this iPad, I’ve been using this app from the beginning. Trust me it’s the best app for beginners as well!! I’ve used almost every drawing app for mobile out there so I can say that Fresco is… okay, but it can be much much better
I like the features, the brushes are nice and the live brush thing isn’t seen frequently. The base is very strong and if built properly it can become a truly extraordinary app, but at the moment it’s impossible for me to see this as anyone’s daily driver
It requires way too much scrolling, way too much clicking to get to features. There aren’t enough gestures. The zoom functionality isn’t snappy enough. All of this makes this app highly frustrating to use
I’m looking forward to using this in the future, right now it’s only something good for occasional use

Best alternative for Procreate
This is the best app you can find for digital art. There are tons of brushes, tools and masks. I use this app to do everything. To draw, make comic strips or even fix photos. If you are just stating with digital art I would totally recommend this app. It’s easy and fun to use. When I first starting using this I lost my mind. It was amazing. There are new feature added everyday so it is even easier to draw.
And the best part is, it is completely free. 10/10

Wonderful App - Everyday Habit Now
This is a growing app that’s very new on this corner. Even then, it’s absolutely delightful to work with. There are some photoshop features that I miss (hue/saturation control for entire layer) but still it is super powerful. I am enjoying art again. Thanks guys, looking forward to more updates.

Whenever i export an image into the drawing...even if its 4K it reduces the quality... so that has been a problem lately.... stopping me from using it more

Great app, fails to upload files to Google Drive
I love this app, but it fails to upload files to Drive when internet is working fine. It’s also takes too long to save heavier files. Sometimes it gets stuck at file loading screen.

Love the watercolour brushes
For the tools it currently has, Fresco is a pretty good app. The new mixer brushes are really nice too.
I hope a smudge tool will be added soon. That’s a major thing missing from the painting workflow. Also a few basic color correction tools and some filters like blur and sharpen.
As a question about new features, will there be more tools and abilities added to the water color engine. I was looking at Rebelle 3, another painting software which simulates watercolours. It would be great to have features similar to that.
Overall really good job. I’m really enjoying using the app.

About the version- 1.7.0
Of course this app is a new and growing app, with regular addition of features and updates. It’s Great to have an pp that allows both vectore and pixel art.
But I would like to make some suggestions:
. With shapes make there a way to have just an outline as well, not just “fill” whatever shape is selected.
. There is no feature to for mask clipping , just mask. Look i’m not telling you mnake make a complete “Photoshop” out of Fresco but clippping mask is a very loved and used feature and have been for years.
. Just let more “Experimental” features come allong, regularly.
ALSO just and Overlook by Adobe, the icon has changed but it still shows the old Fresco (green) Icon in the multitasking secsion, and of course in your commercial promosional video as well.

The userface is so simplified and easy to use. Couldn't find find any other app that gives you so much to do that too free. Just a short tutorial in the beginning will make you a master of digital art. Just practice a bit and you are good to go. App has a lot of potential and it keeps getting better. Yay!

It has become a part of my day!
I have been using it for a month , I simply love it guys. Thanks a lot bringing something like this for the digital painting. I can brush all day without water and wait ... oh what is that in my finger. Is it red?
That’s the only thing I miss. A haptic feedback kind of thing calibrated to Apple Pencil would take this app, way next level.

I love digital paintings, searching for best application, I am using adobe other products for digital works, but this is so simplified and I loving it, I require still more brush styles and layer selection should be there. I am expecting much more in updates....I AM IN LOVE TOTALLY WITH ADOBE FRESCO.......

Guys this app is by far one of the best drawing apps on iOS and a I just want to ask the developers that when will u add shapes and perspective drawing features to the app. If u guys add some more layer tools it will be very helpful and add some more brushes to the vector brushes.

Horrible!!
First I open the app it asks me for my Id . I click on “I already have an account “ button a white page comes up and closes on its own.
Then I try to create another account. I fill my details click on submit button and it says an error happened try again and now it has sign in page open with the account I tried to create but then I think why to create an account when sign in page has opened so I fill my user Id click on submit button. And now it says you have first tried to create this account from a social Id which is not supported by the app and it says can you please create a password. And then it opens a page which has button named adobe id and really nothing happens on clicking it. I really had great expectations with adobe but I’m stuck in this loop. I have tried thrice and the results are the same . Hope you would fix this issue.

Innovation at it’s best!
You can’t go wrong when world's two best technology company gives a product which feels as if they are meant for each other. Adobe Fresco on the iPad is a pure bliss. Feels so good to create realistic strokes, water color, oil paint textures and art work. The drawing and painting experience with the revolutionary new live brushes (thanks to Adobe Sensei) along with largest collection of vector and raster brushes makes you feel close to reality of a painter with color with paper and brush.

The great entrance
I have been following adobe fresco from the day it was announced about 10 months ago. This seems like a solid entrance and a good first iteration of this app. 3 stars for delivering on time. Note - in the gallery section, there are 4 neat tutorials to bring you up to speed. A nice detail. Thanks adobe.
P.s. - I cant find a swatch . And when I color pick to blend , it paints back with maximum opacity. I thought this would be removed in fresco. This also bugged adobe sketch.
