How to Play
- 29 is played by four players in teams of 2, partners facing each other.
- A Short Deck of 32 cards from a standard 52-card pack are used for play.
- There are eight cards in each of the usual "French" suits: hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades.
- The cards in every suit rank from high to low: J-9-A-10-K-Q-8-7.
The aim of the game is to win tricks containing valuable cards.
The values of the cards are:
Jacks - 3 points each
Nines - 2 points each
Aces - 1 point each
Tens - 1 point each
Other cards (K, Q, 8, 7) no points
This gives a total of 28 points for cards. In some versions of the game, the last trick is worth an extra card point, for a total of 29: this total explains the name of the game. Most players nowadays do not count the point for the last trick, but the name of the game is still 29, even when playing this version with only 28 points.
Traditionally, the Twos, Threes Fours and Fives discarded from the full 52-card pack are used as trump indicators: each player takes a set of these cards, one of each suit. The Sixes are used to keep score: each partnership uses one red and one black Six for this purpose.

Itâs not a great experience playing this game as most of the time bots are playing and you could feel the way they play. And rating of a player is not appropriate, sometime rating of a player is like 100 and the person would have played not even 10 games.

Bug during single half
There is a bug with the âsingle handâ option. If a player declares a single hand, it works correctly up to the 7th card. However, when the 8th and final card is played, if it goes to the opponent, the system still considers the single hand successful and awards the point to the declarer, which is incorrect. But it works as expected till 7th card, only 8th or last card has this problem. Many People take advantage of this bug knowingly.

Love this game, but little changes required.
I have been playing this game since at least half a decade now. One change I would like to see in the game is that there should be option for amount of coins being kept at stake in the game. Say, a player should be allowed to opt for how many coins he wish to bet. At present, if I win 3-4 consecutive games keeping 200 coins at stake, next time i am compelled to play with higher amount of coins, and this leads a player to loose his hard earned coins easily. Which means here winning earns lesser profit than loosing. I hope the production team make changes to allow such options. For the rest of it, I give five stars !!!

Frequent disconnections are norm.

Sometimes this app does something which is not permitted in real 29 card game. Most important is that if you throw a card and someone next person shows the trump and that thrown card belongs to the trump suit then it considers that card as trump card which is not permitted in real 29 card game. RULES
The game is good , but there are a few rules that are incorrect.
If the opposition players do not have even a single trump between them the game gets cancelled. You canât play with all the trumps with just the bid winner and his partner.
Also there are people who constantly keep on sending smileys. Can you please add a smiley / chat that stays STOP. Itâs really annoying .
We are not able to add friends who are already existing players. To the list so we can play together please add an option for the same.

Firstly why is it that person who makes trump starts the game (thatâs not how it works). This already gives upper hand to the team choosing trump.
Secondly why there is no option for opponent
Team (one who didnât choose trump) to play single hand . Why is it only team choosing trump gets option for single hand . This is not how real 29 card game works.

Issue with Bonus points
Everything is fine with the game except the fact that they donât allow to complete the hand once the desired points is reached, and offer bonus points based on the scenario at that point, which is unfair.
If you are giving or deducting bonus points for âAll handsâ or âNot gaining half pointsâ respectively, you should wait till the end of the hold hand. Thatâs the rule.

Opposition Not Having A Trump Card
This game has a serious flaw. When a team selects a trump card (other than no trump), and the opposition team doesnât have a single trump card combining both hands, the game should be cancelled. But in this game, it continues. Can you please change that rule in game?

Bugs:
1. If 7th card trump is single colour, still game is on. It shouldnât proceed like this
2. If no point in 1st hand for the 1st player gane shouldnât proceed

Love the game and the way it has been designed. There are few bugs which are frequent. Many times even if we choose a particular trump, when the game starts it becomes Joker.

Good multiplayer game but with lot of bugs
App has option to play multiplayer and also in a private room. But it has lot of bugs specially with âMarriageâ option. The round automatically finishes when the points are achieved or when the opponents gain sufficient points. E.g., if some party made a bid of 19, the game do not wait for all 8 rounds. It finishes if the party gains 19 or more or if the opponent collect 11 or more. But the problem arises when some party has the Marriage cards I.e., K and Q of trump cards. If one of the Marriage cards are not played, the game do not wait for all 8 rounds and finishes without adding or subtracting 4 points to the bid. Another problem is that the Marriage option is triggered only during trumping an existing round. Instead if the first person starts with a K or Q, Marriage option is not activated.

The app is good for 29 card game. But it has some major bugs. Suddenly card gets automatically fallen to the deck. This happens when there is an opportunity for playing single hand.
