Description

The Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB) exam is the main route by which International Medical Graduates (IMGs) demonstrate that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to practise medicine in the UK. The exam includes PLAB part 1 and part 2. We focus on high yield questions that mimic the PLAB part 1 exam, hence giving you the best opportunity to pass on the first attempt. PLAB part 1 is a three-hour computer-marked written examination comprising 180 single best answer questions.
We will continue to offer exam preparation for the UKMLA. The UKMLA stands for the UK Medical Licensing Assessment. It is a new exam that international medical graduates (IMGs) and medical students must take starting 2024 in order to be licensed to practice medicine in the UK. The UKMLA will assess the fundamental knowledge, abilities, and behaviours required to practise safely as a doctor in the United Kingdom. Our aim is to help you in your preparation for the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT) which is the first part of the UKMLA.

Hi,
I am Dr. Agnes from India, I recently appeared for the plab 1 exam on May 25th,2023.
I got my results today and I passed with 143 marks. This is my first attempt. To be honest I have only relied upon plabable q bank and gems, did also all 18 mocks and 3 big mocks including the latest one. I thank you for all resources arranged beautifully in the app. It just made my preparation very easy, ultimately leading to passing of exam.
My score was almost same as May big mock score.
I would definitely recommend plabable to all aspiring plabers.

PLABABLE was The question bank for me. After reading through notes , doing questions from Plabable and reading the explanations for them reinforced the concepts for me personally. Their Big mocks are drafted to be similar to the actual exam and give a candidate a fair idea of what to expect in exam. It is regularly updated with any changes made in NHS/NICE/Uk based guidelines so one does not have to worry about being up to date. Highly recommend.

Although Plabable make’s excellent material, the app could do with a bit more of polishing. I have a couple of particular suggestions
1. In the gems, it would be nice to be able to flag pages I’d like to see later again.
2. there’s already a feature to add notes to the gems. It’d be nice if I could access all those pages with notes at one place, and an indicator that there’s a note added to a page when flipping through the gems later.
3. The app navigation could be improved. When I open the index in either the gems, question bank or the revision guide, there’s no obvious option to go back to the page I was at without selecting anything. It either goes to an accidental selection, or goes back to homepage of the app

I haven’t been able to begin using the app because of how shoddy it is!
It’s not letting me skip downloading the offline images, so I thought ‘might as well download them’ but now it’s not downloading the images. The moment I shut the app it restarts downloading images and has used up my day’s mobile data as well as a significant chunk of my wifi.
Please fix!

There is no option to select what question I want to see in the category section. I know that it gives a list at the end in the “results” section but it’s not convenient and does not show my flagged questions in that list.
