While logging into the app, it seeks all the permissions to run. Why you need all the permissions? Except banking what services you can offer that makes it mandatory to grant all permissions. Moreover, the dialogue box containing the message itself is in shadow which is not usable to navigate directly. Correct it immediately.

I have the latest version of the app on iPhone 7 with iOS 15.7.9. The app works via login but not fingerprint after tapping on the option.
On logout there’s an unnecessary step to confirm. The box displays for a second and disappears. One has to be quick to confirm the logout, which then happens.

Please improve the app team. I had an account in Union Bank as long I have been alive; rating it negatively actually hurts. But I have been unable to even open the app on my iPhone 13 for months now. Its updated to the latest version. My bank’s (Canara Bank) previous version of mobile banking app was not at all good but it has improved drastically in its new avatar( Canara Ai1) and is probably amongst the top apps of any Public sector bank. I would say its even better than many private bank’s offering. I sincerely hope that you guys can also improve Union Bank’s app.

It would be really good to sort the Beneficiaries is Alphabetical order. Its a pain to find a particular beneficiary if you have more than 10 numbers. Also after selection, the selection goes up again and the user has to find the selection again from the list.

It’s very strange that why this application having connectivity issue where I’m the same 5G everywhere ,Finally spoke to call center and they said your application has to be update from their end. What kind of service you are giving to customers,anyway branches are not responding properly in giving info. at least make this applications useful to us.

I have two accounts with Union Bank.
1. Current Account (Proprietor)
2. Savings Acxount
Both are in different branches in same city. Previous version of banking app was working perfectly fine with both the accounts but as soon as Vyom app came both the accounts have stopped working. I have escalated the issue within the bank and their tech team but no response since last 4 months. I have bought new phone thinking phone might resolve the issue but of no use. It’s frustrating to keep trying to download the app. Ever since the corporation bank has transited to become Union bank- the apps haven’t been good at all. Either a recurring msg each time to download to login -“ there are connectivity issues, pls try later” I tried the customer care number which is even more stressful!!! Initially I used to get the error “Connectivity issues. Try after some time”. Since Saturday the error was “Transaction not allowed. Contact branch. I have raised the issue three months ago through emails and voice calls stating that APP is not responding on E-SIM Phones and always ask for physical SIM. I didn’t get even an acknowledgment… leave aside any remedy. Whereas I never any issue with other Banks’ APP .. including so called SARKARI BANKS.
I think… technology upgradation is an alien language for APP developers… they still believe in physical material. If security is the issue, better don’t come up with APP and bank would be safest in the world … a marketing tool to increase business

Whenever I try to open the app in iphone ios16 the logo comes and closes the app abruptly. This is really annoying and unusable. The previous version was little bit working but this new version is pain in the brain. Why can’t this be resolved ??? Why there are so many bugs?? Don’t you guys do quality assurance testing or even at least unit testing??? Please test your app before putting it on app-store. I didn’t expect such bugs from such a big government bank. The new app launched by Union Bank of India is looking really good with new User Interface.
This morning, I was using this app to transfer funds to my daughter savings. Observed a bug in app. Though I select my daughter account, which is saved in the list of payees, the fund got transferred to the first name of the list of payees. This way ended up paying to some other account which not relevant now.
Please verify and rectify immediately.

A USER CAN’T EVEN LOGIN AFTER YOUR UPDATE. This is such a pathetic app, I am tired of this.
They update the app and break everything that was previously working (not that a lot of things worked earlier)
After the vyom update, I logged in via Face ID and it says “your PIN has expired, please reset your PIN” and there is no option to do that. It takes you back to the login screen. Do you even test things before you push to production? This is such a basic thing. I am locked out of my account now, please fix this.

The new update of the App from U-Nxt to Vyom is just awesome and was very much needed in the current scenario of rapid digitisation . It looks really cool and i see that some really good thought process has been put into developing this. This update has really caught my attention. Nice work from Union Bank. I feel that Union Bank has, now taken up things real seriously and we do now see and feel that with this update. Great work indeed. Keep surprising us ! We are waiting……..

App doesn’t work after activation of eSIM

This is a very serious matter to which the developers should look into. When I activated eSIM in my phone and keep physical SIM is out of the phone the app stops working. But all other banking apps which also need SIM based activation process working fine. Hope the developers will solve my problem and soon an update version will be made available after addressing the issue I shared.

The app is actual waste of time and useless. the only time that allowed me to access it is when it’s installed as led fresh. yes it allows access but non of the functions are working after access.
Usually when I open the app and enter the program n it says “core banking system is not responding please try after sometime” . After fresh installation it allows access but when I click on any button it says there are some connectivity issues .
I tried to get help from customer support to deregister and try again but of no use

Whenever I try to open this app to check my transactions it always says try again connectivity issues! Why don’t the developer fix the issue and try to improve the app. I feel this app is just for namesake. Other banks mobile app works so smoothly and quickly. Internet banking service is also worst. Every time I open it says to change
The password and by chance if the e opens(very rarely) I can’t see any option regarding transactions.

A worst app I ever used. It doesn’t useful at the important times. Always it shows while opening the app be like ‘ some connectivity issues’ . While with a few transaction the bank shows you exceeded daily transaction limit and you can pay after 24 hrs. Other banks alloweded better transactions. I can’t make my payment after 24 hrs. It exceeded more days. Most worst experience ever had. Union bank is a very big 👎. I don’t recommend it to anyone. If you are person who done daily transaction with little amount it is way better no go for a union bank. Please try another bank like canara, uco etc.

I use Axis Mobile App and U-Mobile app almost for my daily transactions and i can say that U mobile works as fine as Axis App. I see comments here underrating this App, but this is above par app and i think this app works flawlessly and provides most banking solutions at tip of our hand.

Every time I open this app, a page appears saying “ Image not available “ before the login page. Initially I got scared as if it indicated some fake insertion. This has been there for the last two or three months and not earlier. How come the developer or an IT person in the ITD of the Bank has failed to notice this and rectify for this long. This does not reflect well with a bank which received awards after awards ! ( I could not insert an image here in this review for a better appreciation of the issue )
Though the app fulfils most basic needs, there are many areas needing interventions. It is felt that an exhaustive user testing was not done properly before or after the release. The passbook functionality is not useful as it often says account number is missing, though the app itself fills the number using a pull down option.

I have been trying to access the application for the past week (mobile and Net banking), but it never works! There is always some backend work in progress, every day! Developers update apps to make it more user friendly and accessible, however, Union Bank makes it so difficult for its customers. This is really harassing the bank’s customer. I use private banks’ apps too and they run so smooth, without hiccups. I know Govt banks don’t worry about losing customers, but I want you guys to do better.

I am using iphone 11 i do have have a sim inserted in the sim slot i am only using the esim in the device I don’t have a need of another sim but cant access the app from esim it says enter the sim please fix this issue. Other banking apps working fine just with the esim. Another issue is whenever the app forced us to update after updating it forced us to change the password for every update, it’s difficult to remember password when its change repeatedly, every time i had toreset the password through forgot password.

It was the creepiest application i have ever seen totally useless. I tried n number of times to login to this app. With mobile data only i can activate this app, whenever i use my mobile data to activate the app , mobile data will fall from 4g to g all of sudden, and becomes no data.. once i close the app again 4g signal will come. What type of game they are playing i dont know. Initially i thought it was my network issue . But later got to know that it was app issue. You better remove this app instead of keeping in App Store. Useless union bank and useless umobile app. Disgusting!!!

Union bank has to work hard on their services, they are not at all as competitive as private banks. Facilities are for just name not on actual ground. If they want to be in the group they have to be at-least competitive with current situation otherwise it’s very hard to hold long with Union bank. If use other bank atm we get messages to use union atm but not a single atm functional here in Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad. I believe what they do with the maintenance budget for atm. Clarifications are not the solution. Better will be union work for some solution with positive outcome.

I have used this app for a year now and all the functions are working well with no problems.
One thing I would request the developers that I was using esim only in my iPhone but this app doesn’t work when there is no physical sim inserted so I had to buy a sim just to use the app.

Hi, since I am using an E-Sim in my phone I am unable to login to the App since it requires a physical sim in the phone, but my other sim is on international roaming, so I get charged to turn ON my other physical sim. Can u fix this bug since many people are switching towards E-Sims.
I am also unable to use the Tap to Pay NFC feature on the app.

What am i to do now that i cant access my passbook or transaction details? The merger was done by government then shouldnt the banks involved be responsible to see to the smooth merger of the old accounts? Why are we being denied access on grounds of ios versions? Isnt it your duty to develop technologies that provide to the needs of all customers equally? This shows how much partial and irresponsible this bank towards its customers. Now what am i to do? Change my phone which i cant afford? Or change banks since i have only one account? Corp ease worked perfectly. Please acquire some of Corporation bank's efficiency too post merger sith it!

How can you restrict usage based pn device? It’s says people having iPhone 6s above only can use this app. Atrocious till last week as a corporation bank customer i was using the same app through corpease app from 30th you have disabled the feature now am asked to upgrade the phone indirectly. Horrible service the app developer is inhuman and inefficient ? As a developer you should look at customer convenience not such crap as only people having iPhones above 6s can use the app. I have installed Citibankcard app in the same mobile and using. U mobile app is the worst thing ever. It used to work well but after sometime whenever I open the application it is always asking for an update. I wanted to get the bank statement in the m passbook option and after selecting the account type and account number it keeps on loading and loading and loading and unfortunately I have to close it everytime. And today the app is not even opening. I have accessed net banking three times but it is not working and the bank representative is saying you cannot access net banking from u-mobile.

The app has become worst. Firstly on logging in it gives a notification for updating the app. After updating it, it shows that your pin has expired, so I changed the pin. Now after updating the pin and logging in, the app asks to update security questions. Now when I am trying to update security, the questions do not fit on the screen... the whole question is not visible. How will one update the security questions when the same is not visible.. please look into the same. Because off this one cannot proceed to use the app.

After the launch of new version of u-mobile app years ago, we are facing difficulties in operating saving bank account and current account in the same app, due to different customer ids. Please make a feature available to link customer id of saving account and current account of the customer having same PAN/ Aadhar number or mobile no registered. The branch is unable to do so due to different names of accounts.

App functionality is fine..
IMPS works like a charm.. real time!
1.One minute thing ( the developer & tester should have noticed it) ... when you enter the password to authenticate the transfer, submit button is placed low down.. sometimes we are mistaken that button does not exist! The unnecessary gap between the password window and submit button should be reduced so that both are visible on the same screen without scrolling. 🙏🏻
2. Whenever I try to access the section for enabling Face ID / Touch ID for authentication, the app crashes.. in case you intend to provide the facility.. please make it fully functional OR do not show the option at all!! Login using Face ID works very much fine on HDFC Bank’s mobile banking app. 🤷‍♂️
3. Whenever I am restoring my iPhone after a repair (it happened with me twice) , the app has to be deleted and reinstalled.. then only it works. 🤦🏻‍♂️
4. System should automatically detect and display if I am holding a current or savings account and other options should be grayed out automatically.. it is annoying to read the message “you currently do not have a current/savings account with us” 🤩

Worst App Ever. Downloaded it for using with Current Account and guess what.. It does not recognize current accounts. It's operational for Savings Account only. Union Bank of India is NOT known to conduct any type of functionality tests on their apps or internet based banking facilities. Customers face great difficulty in using UBI interface. Instead of sending text messages to users urging them to download the mobile banking app, kindly ask your internal banking staff to download and use these apps for atleast 6 months. Based on their user experience, kindly update and improve the app and then make it open for customers to use it.

I am waiting from more than one month to see any new update because i am not able to use this app from a long time due to it is only says connectivity issue try again later, i tries mpass selfie app it is also says the same response that Bad response server error, i gone through the branch and asked to print my passbook they refused and simply said that their printer not working, than i tried another branch than same thing happened, i want to return my tax but due to this bank silly problems i am not able to get statement of my account. Thanks union bank it is my last visit to use your bank and app.

I am using iPhone XS Max and I have an esim on it which is registered with the bank and I have data on it. I don’t have a physical sim even though there is a slot for it. All the other bank apps works very well but this always says there is no SIM card available please insert a SIM card. I even tried connecting using wifi no luck. When asked in bank they have no idea about this. But it works if I insert some other SIM card in the slot which don’t make any sense of security. I am not sure when this issue will be fixed. It is always forcing me to use internet banking then what’s the point of mobile app and mobile banking.

I have been accessing my accounts through union selfie/ mpass book. Now that app is merged with this new app. Earlier I could view the details of my various accounts since all were linked to my mobile number. Now they stopped this fecility and linked to account I’d. I have various accounts with different id’s. I am getting access to only two accounts with common I’d. There is no provision to access the other accounts with different id’s I had written several mails in this connection to the respective branch, chairman etc to help me to find a solution to this. Regret to inform that not a single response received by me so far. I am now seriously considering changing my bank only due to their lethargic attitude

After the upgrade 2 months ago, this IOS application has become totally useless! Does not open or function at all! Every time I try to open, it just keeps throwing up either a “connectivity issue and try later” message or a “new upgrade available “ message which does not even exist! It has been like this for more than 2 months. The company which has developed this app don't seem to have a clue on what is going wrong with this app and the worst part is that the union bank doesn't even seem to care!!!

Then when it’s send( with sms charges) it say unashamedly that my number is not registered with the bank and try with registered number.
