Big design flaw. All I see are things which are not relevant to me. It’s not a request but rather a no-brainer to have: - a search bar in the shopping section. Many of my friends and family also don’t use it because of this design decision. - only black colour app design, instead have white colour theme as well which is more soothing to the eyes. - make UPI more quick, the animations of app itself slows down quick transactions.

Just recharged my fast tag card, money deducted from credit card and the transaction is not showing in cred app history and no balance added to fast tag wallet. They have very stupid support options there is no way to contact them, after clicking on support they ask to select transaction from list but the transaction is not at all in there list and you can’t do anything.

CRED pay is worst app that I ever used for payment. Many times I’ve face payment processing issue. Other apps such as GPay PhonePe have better processing capabilities. They provide flashy offers like spin the wheel where you use 1000 coins to spin the wheel hoping for a cashback of 50/100/1000 rupees as they say and u get cash back of 1 rupee they think the customers are morons. I have been using cred from past 3 years and borrowed loan from app around 2 lakhs which i am paying actively and completed around 60% Last month my mom hospitalised and passed away. So i have informed in their emails and sent messages even in whatsapp and informed even in their calls that all my salary has been spent for hospitalisation and final cremation and i will pay slightly later point of time. But how this people works is by following app location they came home and shouted. Now i have paid old 1 month due which was around 20 days late and paid upcoming due in advance. What cred will now? will they reduce the interest for due paid in advance when the collected huge fine for delayed old due.

I paid my rupay credit card bill by cred on 19th December..this is the first time i was using cred...the payment was successful...money got deducted..and after 3 days it was still not reflecting in my credit card ..On 21st December i called the support team they told me that something went wrong..you will get refund in 48 hrs or the concerned team will call you..I have been waiting from last five days and everday the support team says me to wait ..that they can't do anything the other team will look into the matter and call you..they say the same thing everday and cuts the call..is this company a joke or a fraud scheme..you guys are playing me from last five days..and i haven't received any call nor any update regarding the matter..my due date is close ..and now i am stuck coz of you guys..stole my money and not responding..This the worst app..Do not use it

One of my cousins missed an emi coz of a temporary financial crisis. He emailed cred and also spoke to number of executives on incoming calls from cred assuring that he intends to pay the cred cash he had availed and also is willing to pay any penalty fees applicable. Inspite of updating he is being bombarded with persistent calls every 10-15 mins. When he answers the calls and tells them he has already updated the information and wants to stop these calls they say “u ll get calls since u have taken money” “calls are system generated” and when asked to check the data on the system they say “we dont have any”. Not only this they also misbehave speak badly abuse over the calls. Some people disconnect the call and call on whatsapp or call from some other number since he started recording these calls, the sole purpose of calling on whatsapp and from other numbers is to abuse and harass. He is been mentally harassed by these callers from cred and has become frustrated and has developed anxiety and other health and mental issues. Cred hires goons to recover money even after charging late fees interest and other charges. Pleas donnot use this app orany service from them. Any which ways they dont offer any thing as rewards. Only coins to play stupid games and win coupons whoch u get free everywhere.

NEVER USE THIS APP TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNLESS YOU WANT YOURSELF TO BE MENTALLY HARASSED OR IF YOU WANT TO COMPLETELY WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME, I have tried to made a payment from my credit card through the app and the amount was deducted and also I got SMS for the same, but it was never credited to the second party And when I raise a complaint, I am getting same computer generated message that it will get updated that’s it. I am not able to go through after this because it never give me the chance to create a ticket. and the biggest head is they don’t even have the customer care number so I again try to create a ticket by opening a ticket and different transaction then SURPRISE SURPRISE!! I am getting same computer generated message on mail for this time they don’t even bother to call the customer and when finally they told me that we will update you for the same on after a week but I didn’t get any resolution till now no matter what I do. They just sending me the same message again and again that our team is working on your issue and you will get update within two working days. I bet if anyone fall they will not be able to do anything apart from sending mail on rubbing hand and thinking there is my money you will be mentally harassed because of their useless customer service system.

I have been using CRED for the past 2 years atleast and faced no issues on the same. However, of late, I added a new credit card from hdfc and tried to make my first payment. I could see that once I added it all my original transactions made on card were being reflected. I proceeded to pay my due. Apparently CRED traced someone else’s account based on my details and went ahead and processed repayment to them. Now is the funny part. They asked me to reset the card as the old details were still pointing to someone’s else’s account ( which I find really hard to believe coz the transactions were still mine) I proceeded to re-add and this time they concluded that I should reach out to hdfc to trace the transaction using the utr they provided and if in case, I can’t, I have to get a reply from hdfc exclusively in the format they provided. Now hdfc isn’t my best bud to comply to all that. They clearly stated on call that they can’t even trace this as a complaint. Now my credit card due date is nearing and this issue is unresolved, I asked CRED if they can take care of the last payment fee as well. There comes the twist. They blamed the entire issue as my fault since some 1 rupee validation check was not done ( which is specified nowhere as a disclaimer prior to payment).
There has been back and forth and the sad part is can’t even call them. Never using this app again nor recommending it to anyone.

No doubt this is my go to application when it comes to paying my credit card bills however there are many flaws which needs a major app update. I am surprised how cred development team is not able to identify those areas of improvement? 1) not all cards statement is getting fetched automatically hence i go to credit card app to check the payable amount / statement and then pay by cred. I have missed the due date of one of my cards and had to pay interest and penalty. 2) Shopping tab requires many basic features like wishlisting an item, seaching a product, price change alert etc. 3) customer support tab should be available on the first window itself. 4) UI should be improved. 5) There should be an option to share a product with other cred user
6) coins should be redeemable.

I paid the electricity bill which shows me still in processing after 7 days. On contacting the support team they told it got failed and amount wilm be returned in 2-3 days. After 3 days on following up they asked the latest bank statement. I did shared the transaction history on the same day. They checked it on next day and emailing that statement is not latest. They are moving this back and not providing therefund. Although shared the screenshot where amount was deducted with transaction id they are not even checking in their system for the refund was ever initiated or not. Later after complaining got a call from escalation team who debugged the issue on call and they confirmed the glitch in app of showing text (in processing) and that refund was processed in other source and not the orginal source. Escaltion team resolved the issue however the previous support team was not so attentive and neither put effort on understanding and solving the issue.

I am currently using the Cred app, but I find its quality to be unsatisfactory. One major issue is the lack of options to make custom queries or raise complaints. Instead, users are limited to selecting predefined details or quitting the app altogether.
The absence of customer care service is particularly frustrating, as I have to resort to searching for the customer support email address on Google.
Furthermore, I have two credit cards, and the app fails to display my card bills and dues accurately. It erroneously shows that all dues have been cleared, when in reality, the service should provide an accurate representation of my outstanding payments. This issue is not unique to me; my family and friends are also experiencing the same problem.
There are two urgent matters that require immediate attention. Firstly, the contact support feature within the app needs improvement. The current automated bot message service is unhelpful since we can easily obtain that information directly from the bank. It would be beneficial to incorporate an option for users to provide comments or interact directly, allowing for prompt resolution of issues.
Secondly, I am perplexed as to why none of my credit bills are appearing in the Cred app.

From past 6 months I am updating my statements manually in this app that actually done automatically by the app.
I have tried to contact customer care regarding this on day 1 and issue not resolved till at day 8 and I paid my cc bill from other vendor.. thanks to the vendors who are in the market now.
The actual purpose of cred is help their users in paying and tracking their cc bills. But now they have introduced a lot more stuff which I never use because all the rewards here are useless.
My humble request is please don’t flood the app with unnecessary rewards and coin games… know your user and come up with a good user centric design.. if not ask me I will do it for you.. do some user research… if you are not capable of updating statements automatically then what is the point to use your app… if I have to do it manually I have so many vendors out there….
This is the third class worst app I have ever seen… in the beginning it was very nice because they use to give importance to the primary things like paying a cc bill and automatically updating.. but now a days they are taking users for granted…
I look for another one month if they are same like this there no point in using this app…
Please do a proper user research ask your design team to work on best user flow instead of building an useless UI…

I have a credit score of 840, my card is on auto debit. What is the use of this app? Literally I downloaded it because of Kunal shah brand. But seriously this app don't even have a single use case. It's not solving any problem. It's proven coins earn when paid via app are useless too. And elite and muture audience with good score will not wasting their time on some random coin thing. Common don't be a kiddish. Good creditors don't want any upfront credit with extra interest. So, cred cash feature is also useless. Seriously, team need to find a use case of this app. They just are adding useless feature with no actual solving a deep pain point. In short this app is just a vitamin not a pain killer. The only features I am Interested in is Cred mint but that is in beta. I guess now you must be realising that you don't have any lenders. Again as said wealthy corporate employees don't need lending. I don't know why team is focusing on designing animation and not focusing on what problems it is solving for the end user.

I was probably the earliest customer to join Cred that showed promising prospects to disrupt the credit card repayments. I even remember I spoke to one of the senior guy from the company for over an hour and gave my inputs on how they can make the UX even better. Come 2023, everything from rewards to handling queries to scamming customers by misleading has become a habit of sorts. They ended up spending most of the investment in marketing and advertisements hiring Bollywood actors, sponsoring at IPL instead of rewarding their customers at 1/100th of the cost. Now that they captured 20% market in India and valuation at $5.5 Billion they are now showing their true colors. The coins earned are useless, rewards are almost zero which was the only USP of this app. For smallest of things you would have to raise a query if you successfully go past their poorly designed stupid bot. I have moved to CheQ which has less better UI/UX but guaranteed 1% rewards. I had personally valued Cred to be run with highest of standards that had a promising future as this was born and bred in india and not copied from westerners. But I am proved wrong.

I have 2 cards from 1 a major bank, so single statement gets generated. Unfortunately cred reads amount for 1 card. Still I would just make payment for the other card manually. No problem till this point, as half work of reading one card due amount is done manually.
Problem arises when it read ‘total amount’ on the account instead of ‘amount due on the card’. Which might be lesser due to credit balance on other card.
e.g. One card having 100 due while other is having 10 extra credits balance. So total balance on my account is 90 but bank still expects that I make the payment of 100 because that is due, but cred reads 90 and we get slapped with Hefty penalties depending on your difference of balance.
Cred customer care firstly does not accept that there is any issue. Then you give up feeling what’s the point, you’ll do payments manually as they will not reimburse for the error.
Then out of nowhere they promise that they’ll reimburse you if they are at fault. Then they discover that it’s their system error, but say that apart from apologies, they can’t or wont offer the penalties that have been levied.
Bottom like either stop using it or use it with caution and do double work of checking if this is correct amount that is due.

In today’s 21 century where most of the people on internet and we heard about cybercrimes this app doesn’t have simple 2 way authentication though it has all our credit card, upi details and financial records. I have personally experienced loss of 25k due to its unsafe login process. The funny part is fraud person login to my CRED account and done transaction but except his name I am not getting any details from CRED support neither get security depart email id who can investigate and take necessary action. I may face more loss but I have taken right step quickly due to which I have been save from those losses. I have block my card removed all my details from CRED and most important I have deactivated my account. I will ensure my friends and family doesn’t use this app and also I will raise complaints to RBI and cyber cell as this app is very unsafe as anyone can login just with OTP and access all your financial data. I insist everyone do not go with ratings and go with practical approach.

On first look, nothing seems wrong with this app but if you have used all its servers or try to use all its services then you will find the real problems.
1- You cannot deactivate your Cred account. Why? Because they are using your financial data and selling to telemarketing companies.
They are monitoring your spending habits and selling those details to advertisers.
2- You will see Cred cash eligibility in your account but won’t be able to withdraw it. Reason: Cred shows it to users just to determine if a user is looking for any personal loan so that CRED can share their data to different lenders. As soon as you try to withdraw Cred cash, you start to get calls from multiple banks for many days.
But you will NOT BE ABLE to withdraw that SO CALLED CRED CASH EVER!!!!
That CRED Cash scam is there just to determine if any person looking for a loan, further cred will share their personal details to telemarketing companies.
3- 3rd Class Customer Care- I have been contacting CRED’s customer care for last 1 month but my issues are still not resolved. Every time I just get a automated response which says.” We are looking into the issue and will get back to you”, but neither the issue was resolved nor they ever got back to me.

I am going through some really bad experiences at Cred app!
This app used to be my favourite one and I even have introduced all my friends and family to this app. All my transactions are through Cred only. But the issues I am facing from last couple of months has caused me a lot of stress with no redressal at all from Cred. I have taken multiple cred cash, for which I am making the timely payment every month on or before the due date. But my account is charged every month multiple times incorrectly. As far as I can recall, 9 transactions of 295 each were debited for which I have complete record. But cred support replies with some pre-written robotic emails requesting pdf of the same. Sir, my request to you is to connect me with a human for heaven’s sake. It’s taking a lot of my mental peace and I will be left with no other option than to complain against cred for this if these unnecessary charges were not reversed. If I am prepaying all the EMIs, why do you need to charge me? You should know in case I make the payment on or before due date, there shouldn’t be any charges like this. I need my refund as soon as possible. Please cooperate. I would be happy to come back and give you a five star rating as it used to be my favourite app. Just kindly help me with my issue

I would like to give 2 star rating based on following points Pro- this app provides points for every transactions,( which are pseudo,and can't be used anywhere) You can keep a track of your bills.😂😂 Cons -1. you need to do everything manually. 2. Points provided are good for nothing 3. Half of the app at each level,ask you to refer to get some benefits, but the small clause is -it is government office,where you need to go and run behind the customer care to claim your reward. Like after referral,follow your friend,when he does his first transaction,then message customer care that you made your friend make transaction,then apply for your prize, send 20 mails, and they will ask you every minute detail,which you need to provide. Start a fresh application every time and the best part it has to be done on very next day,or else they will say "sorry,sir /Madam,you are late "😂😂😂😂 4. Recently, I had purchased 343 items and I was the highest to buy. I have necessary evidence of the same and after the time ended, it vanished and there is no word about that yet. The promotion that you played after this also the winner was announced. This is completely unfair, I will take this ahead on social media. This is complete fraud. I have spent a lot in this process. As said I have necessary evidence of the same. One of them is shared. Please look into this and if you’re not giving me what I’ve won, please cancel all the orders place or else I won’t hesitate to dispute the transactions with my bank.
Before this also they gave the scooter to someone else when I was the highest one to purchase by number at that time too. Shared a screenshot of that as well. I won’t keep quiet and that’s the reason why you all decided not to keep the live chart on the 1,00,000 ticket price. Played very smart but I know my rights, I’ll fight for it!

First of all support section of the Cred App is the worst, it doesn’t show the open tickets/ recent conversations and then creates multiple tickets for the same issue, creating utter confusion. It’s just BOT replying to you and can’t really get to the solution of the problem instead gives nonsensical questions and nonsensical response for issue’s resolution.
And secondly when Google Pay says transaction is complete and internet is working how come your app shows network failure and fails the transaction, what is this scam 1992, trying to earn interest on people’s money because I have seen many other reviews as-well where people have this transaction failure issue. Although my money got refunded but the process of getting there was tiresome due to the multiple tickets and delayed response. If you want response better email them, there you might get delayed response but atleast it would make sense, but even in the email they say go to the support section of the app and when you go there, there’s nothing no history of conversation you've had before, not even showing open tickets, just plain bad experience.

There is no medium in the app which allows a human interaction with the cred team. Everything is a bot based communication and very generic. No way of contacting through mail or phone. There is an option to write to the team but after typing in and submitting, the page shows some error occurred and entire thing you have typed is gone for good!
Show some mercy to the users.
Also, the application gives incorrect information. Recently 3 of my successive payments failed and I received communication from CRED that the failed transaction shall be refunded. After that I tried 4th attempt with a different mode and it succeeded and then I saw that one of the earlier three transactions was also successful and now there are two payments to the card. These guys should understand that this impacts our budget. If this is how you treat customers, I will better deactivate my account with cred!

Horrible offers and worst customer support

I have been using CRED account to pay all my bills for few months. What brought me here was the continuous advertisement spams but the offers you receive are from websites and companies you haven’t even heard of.
I also experienced the worst customer support experience ever with CRED. I had initially set up the account with my secondary number and I reached out to the Support Team to fix this and they provided solution to just update the phone number for Whatsapp Alerts although the main number was linked to my secondary number. They said it’s possible at first and made me wait for few weeks. At first they closed the ticket from their end without my concern and I had to follow up with them again address the issue. After two long weeks, I received a call from the Support saying that they don’t have an option to update the Mobile number registered with the CRED Account which got me furious and wasted more than two weeks of assured fix on this matter. I instantly deleted CRED membership and uninstalled the App from this phone.
Although I can say that the UI is good and is very to pay up any bills when you first add as they will be reflected on the dashboard regarding dues.
Anyways I’m not going to use this app again because of the horrible experience with the CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

I have been using the app practically from the start and can say with a fair degree of certainty that the overall experience if you’re shopping on the app is below average. The deals are pretty good but delivery schedules are inordinately long( Sometimes even 8-10 days) And God help you if you face a problem with your orders because their customer care is lousy and practically nonexistent. There is no helpline to reach out to and most of the time you’re talking to some bot or the other and answering a set of nonsensical questions that don’t get to the nub of the matter. Efficiency is lacking with a typical lackadaisical sense of entitlement. (Where they think they are doing you a favour) The credit card cash backs are also delayed or not received ( for eg 10% CB on X card on spend of X amount) When the matter is taken up with CRED they say contact the Bank and when we contact the Bank we are told that CRED hasn’t shared the relevant details and so we go round and round till we give up out of sheer frustration. I have been a cred user for a long time. Recently when one of my products got delayed I went to the app store to see the reviews to check whether others also faced similar issues. To my surprise, I wasn't the only one.
The customer service at this firm is pathetic.
It's bette that you forget about your money if it gets stuck or your order isn't delivered because there will just be a long email trail with the same responses fron their end, around the lines of 'we need more time'.
No matter what you do and say, the responses will not change.
Other than CS, there are privacy concerns. They want you to activate cred protect. Essentially, they'll have access to your emails and they'll fins out the credit card statements, update them on the app etc.
They'll make a spending model around your identity.
On top pf everything, they will refuse to deactivate your account. They'll state that it's not possible since tickets are open but in their terms and conditions, nothing like this is written.
These guys are working as thugs and doesn't really care about their customers and hence, people leave the platform.
I would NOT RECOMMEND it to anybody.
Save yourself, your money and time from the hassle. If your payment gets stuck, you're in for a drive.

You Don't have any customer care number and even email id to reach. All the time you say to download app , why should i download your app for each and every thing and even for the things like customer support.
You have not sent me any mail or msg regarding my transcation id ; only whatsup msg is sent which is not enough. If you cant provide service plz dont cheat the customer or delay your service। They will curse you and it will cost you more. I paid 16,000/- and its more than 24 hrs. now i should beg in front of you for my money only. What rubbish people you are , will never use your service again.

Cred is a fantastic credit card payment app. I've been using Cred for a few years now and have never had any problems. Even though I had some issues a few times, customer service was excellent in resolving them in a short period of time. That's why I use Cred to pay my credit card bills instead of any other app. By burning the cred coins, it also provides payback. Although it is not a large sum, it is better than nothing. The jackpots are the only disappointment I've ever had. I used a lot of my cred coins to play these jackpots, but I never won.. Apart than that, Cred is an excellent app to use, and I would recommend it to everyone.

It’s all good when the payment is successful but when the payment got struck then the problem arises.
I’ve paid an amount of ₹2,20,000 towards my credit card bill 6 days before the due date and the payment got struck and till the due the due date.
The amount is showing credited in CRED app but it is not reflecting in credit card. So when the due date is over we suppose to pay late fee, interest and a late payment in our credit history.
CRED rules says when payment got struck make an alternate payment to the bank to avoid those fines and interest. How can we pay the amount when our amount is struck with them.
There is no way to contact the CRED customer care support team. Only option we have is to write to them for which they never reply.
Credit card issuer doesn’t care when you actually paid the amount if you paid through any third party apps. So they levy interest and fines on you.
It’s better always use your bank’s online banking to pay the bills so that bank will take responsibilities when something goes wrong.
Don’t fall for the cash backs which is less than 0.1% of the payment value.
I got around 4k cashbacks for using CRED till date, the fine and interest would amount more than 10k.
It takes hundreds of successful transactions for gaining that amount and one unsuccessful one that charges more than double the amount.

Please spend few minutes and read it carefully. I was regularly using this app but in recent event this app doesn’t forwarded paid amount to my credit card bank. This I come to know when I got a call from a bank. As per the bank I’m defaulter now and it’ll affect my credit score. More than 2 days have passed and still I can see my payment is processing state on CRED app. I’ve paid the amount through internet banking. Also there is no customer care number to contact instead they have stupid catbot which is more useless than this app. My payment amount is 1.25 lacs and now I can’t even cancel or do re-payment. Money is already deducted from my account and no option to cancel it. Don’t get trapped in their ads and useless CRED coins they are of no use, I already have almost 6,00,000+ useless coins. This is the new age scam to earn interest by holding people’s credit card payment for few days.

My dad is unable to add his card to his cred account , when waited for a long time customer support told someone has added my dad’s card to his account hence we are not able to add and advised to add fresh card , I mean how acknowledgeable is this .some stranger has added my card and I can’t use the cred app when it’s not my mistake , how cred has 0 accountability!how it’s simply allowing without any Multifactor authentication ..and when we try to resolve the issue they ask us wait for hours , they expect ppl to sit for hours n hours to chat with them ! Without having basic calling option ..now a days who has hell lot of time to sit n chat with CC. And weirdest part is after chatting for hours also they can’t resolve the issues ..if there is anything less than 0 I can give that rating , lost trust in this app now ! I also urge all my family n frnds to uninstall this useless app .

Such a worst app!! I was excited to use the app after my friends referred me, I’m a new credit card holder.. it’s notenjoyi opening in my phone at all, where as my other friend who is also a new user was able to download activate and pay his bill in his own CRED, where as I am waiting from past 15-20 days approximately to activate ( everytime it asks me to wait as it’s verifying) yesterday it showed me that I will get activated today.. but again it went to 5 days!!! This is getting in my nerves.. why do you develop such an unwanted eligibility! Verification method.. I downloaded the same app in another phone and paid the bill of ₹23,296, and still in my phone it’s not opening 😒

The honeymoon period with actual useful offers and rewards is over for Cred’s early customers. Now this app is full of useless offers and an e-commerce store full of over priced fancy useless products. And their next big thing Cred cash will surely trap many unfortunate financially illiterate youth in a high interest rate debt rabbit hole. The only benefit for using Cred now is that 10-15 rupees peanuts you get as cash back every time you do a credit card payment. And definitely Cred is making huge profit by mining all that highly sensitive financial data of users.
Seeing the massive popularity of Cred advertisement reminds me of that Noam Chomsky quote - “Markets are supposed to be based on informed consumers making rational choices. But an ad’s only purpose is to create uninformed consumers making irrational choices.”
That being said, being an iOS developer myself, I am a huge fan of Cred’s UI and UX. Your app is an inspiration for me in my day to day work. And also I am a fan of Kunal’s tweets and podcasts. But I am sure this guy is again gonna make hell lot of a money by providing another much hyped, no substance product by selling highly sensitive user data.

I’m a CRED user since the beginning and I see many things changed with time. It was quite rewarding during the initial days and I have redeemed good no of products by just using my CRED points or very minimal cash which were quite a loot. But these days I am not able to find any reward that my CRED points will get me and the rewards which are listed needs a payment to be done and the focus has been shifted completely on CRED coins which are not easier to get. As per my view, CRED has become an usual ecom website which sells things and I couldn’t find any reward that I can redeem by just using my CRED points. Now I feel that CRED is no more rewarding for me and I will stop using this app shortly if this rewardless culture is continuing. these jackpots are just brand awareness campaign on your platform and full of crap.
The one best thing is the user experience of this app has improved exponentially and the expense tracking tool is a killer. But rewards were my main motive not jackpots when I installed this app and that is not here now.
I hope the CRED team will consider this concern and I expect them to do something on this.

Issue ticket closed without resolving

I don’t think the support time has time to resolve the issue, may be that’s the reason they don’t give it back on-time or no proper response. I had payment related issue during the initial times of Cred, but dint get any proper response & so payment took time to get credited to my card. April-21, I had issue with the reward points also, I made a total payment of 3500 much before the due date, but the point raised with just 600 when compared my last month’s. (I have a screenshot for the same) And when raised my first ticket for help, they said that was correct & I requested them check again, but in vein. Being, the issue unresolved I thought of raising another ticket, & to my astonishment I found my previous ticket closed without any response. So I raised another ticket, asking for the proper explanation & response to the primary issue. Even to this day I am yet to get a reply & this time it makes me feel weird on finding that the second ticket was also closed, without explanation for the closing of first one & proper response for the primary issue. I use not to check my card statement believing this CRED app, but now I doubt about the amount that’s been debited from my account towards card payment. Whether the same amount has been credit to the card or not...? I need to go through all the statements since the time I started making payment over CRED.

CRED as an application which displays the credit card information is a very good app. But in case pf transaction it is a very bad application. It is the worst application i must say. I payed my credit card bill through cred and due to some reason it got failed and the refund was processed to some unknown account. When trying to contact support there was no email no toll free number or any means of contact info in the application nor in the website. Even a proper reason for the transaction failure is bot given in the message. In the app is says chat with us in the support section. But it doesn’t provide any option to chat. It gives a certain list of options and preconfigured answers. Beware , if you pay through cred then your money is very likely to be gone forever in vain.
To cred team. Atleast provide a customer care number or a proper chat window for your clients to raise queries. Atleast understand that you are dealing with money and take care of it.

Yes, I did admire little bit more convenience of paying my credit cards bills ( over what directly I had been doing so far) using app though could find hardly any other advantage. On top of that I had to give you permission to peep into my mails which is huge concession customers extend to you compromising their privacy. But it took me really some time to get that annoying moment which has totally put me off you. I still sometimes pay my credit card bills directly outside your app and it’s my choice th eway I settle that. But you keep on sending me repeated notifications some like frightening ones on my overdues! Just shut these notifications up and find means to check whether customers have directly settled their dues with banks or not and put that to records. You check my mails otherwise and not find this mail that bank has already accepted the payment? I need answer to this annoyance.

No way to update payments made outside CRED

The app is good. Helpful and easy to use. However if you make any payment outside CRED, this app will make you regret that because it wall not update such payments and will harass you and even scare you with notifications like “YOUR CARD BILL IS OVERDUE”. Or “INTEREST AT THE RATE 35% IS BEING CHARGED TO YOU”. It’s funny because they like to remove / extract all types of data and transactions from our credit cards and Netbanking, but they can’t remove data about payments made outside CRED using the same Netbanking. At least they should have some mechanism to manually feed information about any payment made outside CRED. Even the “support” section in app is not giving any support and simply states - “payment made outside CRED is not reflected in the app.” Its sad that such a good app has completely ignored such basic features; or rather ‘chose’ to ignore such basic features such as manually feeding payment details to avoid such deadly notifications about “charges” and “penalties” and “interest” etc.

Now, you can’t get anything free even if you are paying 1lac credit bill every month. Everything is paid for us. But they make money as they keep our money for a day or two, get interest from somewhere and then deposit our money to bank.
Basically, now it’s just a platform for cred owners to earn money from someone else’s money and to promote stupid and newly launched products on cred. They say we are giving discount because you are cred user. Such discounts or coupon are available on internet if you just google. You don’t have to check more than top 5 results to get valid coupon.
So, their plan is to earn in 2 ways(at least):
1) Get interest on money someone paid to cred because they deposit to bank few days later.
2) By promoting newly launched stupid products. They get commision because cred has userbase.
They don’t even give you T-shirt for free even if you have 10lacs point.
Note to Cred: Try giving few things for free and increase the number of points to redeem. In case someone has a lot of points(which means he has paid a lot of credit card bill through cred) he should get something. If not, why would I pay through cred and wait for them to credit to their bank few days later and come again to verify. I recently started verifying because I paid through cred and it didn’t get transferred to bank and my bank citi automatically deducts min due. That means I ended up paying total due + min due. That’s not a good service, right ?

I love this app due to cred I never miss my payment because it’s remind me regularly when due date approaching within seconds you can pay your credit card bill it even reward you by giving caskback every time when you pay your bill which is credited on your credit card immediate it even shows you point on your credit card which you can redeem on bank site. Its also give regularly offers on products also some time they give you offer which you can redeem for free i am glad that I become member of cred due to paying bills on time i have cibil score of more than 750😀

One of my friend told me about this app, I was skeptical initially as it involves financial transaction of my credit cards - simply speaking my whole lifestyle - what I do, where I spend everything is now made available to Cred. But stil I download and cred gives unmatched experience.
I haven’t opened my email or check multiple websites to review my credit card statements as CRED covers them all, summarise my expenses well to help me understand where I am spending and most important it does remind me from time to time to ensure I don’t miss out the payment date. Rewards are aso there although I think it can be more rewarding.
So I definitely recommend CRED to those who have at least 2 or more credit cards!

The service provided by CRED has helped to save time every month on useless cognition like remembering payment date or putting on calendar. Now it is totally worry free that too with with reward when payment of bills are made, especially the cash back rewards. It is like one is getting back the annual charges paid to credit card. It was never ever so easy to know the offers on the credit card. The analytics portion is awesome one can know the fields of spending and can easily track on for financial planning. From time to time CRED suggest how to maintain ones credit score , which is must for getting credit. I am using five credit cards and it’s very easy to keep tack on each card at one place.

For an app handling so much of your sensitive data, they fail to provide any trust in you considering how much they’ll try to distract you and prevent you from deleting account from their databases. I didn’t even make a payment, and wanted to delete my account and had to go through a frustrating 30 minutes of a unnecessarily roundabout chatbot, and a customer support executive who replies once in 5 minutes to get to know that the issue has been “escalated” and will be looked at in the next 5-7 working days. What happens if that time period passes and nothing has progressed? That remains to be seen.
It is unacceptable that there’s no direct and transparent account deletion feature and no actual customer support on this application. They stick a FAQ and hope that you never actually try to escalate issues with them.
Please don’t waste your time with this app as their business model will be to sell your financial data to advertisers. If not that, they will use your money which you’ve given them for their private investments in the 2 day period before your credit card account actually receives the money.

I have been using CRED for two years. I haven’t faced any problem till now. So I thought it was safe but when I got a issue I realised how worst could be.
Just sharing my experience with CRED. I have made a payment before due date and it reflected in my bank a week after due date. I have been charged with late fee by bank and when approached bank they stated that CRED is not an authorised payment gateway and hence they cannot help in this regard. Worst part is there is no proper communication channel to approach CRED apart from chatbot. They have no customer care. Only possible means is to contact support team is either mail or chat. Even this chat will take long time to get reply. They don’t have any proper tracking for the complaints raised. You’ll be getting same repeated replies. Fortunately my issue is only late payment. If your money got stuck with CRED means it’s very simple.
You lost your money. CRED will not help. So I strongly recommend not to use this.

I have downloaded the app and was gonna try it for card payments but I thought first I should go through the comments posted by app users. I got lots of good reviews to begin with which is well and good. Now story starts where the happy path did not happen, No response from app owners for negative reviews where user’s hard earned money is at risk. Come on CRED, you are thanking many positive reviews and no reply for the reviews where somebody’s money is stuck with you.
How can I trust you guys? It seems like till every thing is going as it should be, it’s good and may be even better as I heard you guys provide cash back or some coupons or something in return but once it went south, everyone is suffering as you are not even responding and the amount is lost. I came to this conclusion as nobody/ a very few people(I didn’t see) have praised CRED in negative cases even is positive reviews.

I have been using credit card since 2002. I have been a defaulter in many months in past and paid huge fines and interests. I had to take personal loans to pay credit card bills. What was the reason? I was not able to keep track of my credit card bills and was unaware of how much I was paying on bank charges. I find CRED as the most essential app for anybody who has credit card. It not only reminds, shows you the charges and expenses by category but also rewards you for paying the bills through the app. Most interestingly you can just pay in few clicks through the app. Good job guys. Very intuitive design and you have customer in mind. The way this app is designed is very artistic and unconventional. Keep it up.

Irresponsible and zero Customer service. Even payment not credited to my card since 12days

I have been using cred app since 3months. First 2months its fine. 3rd month I have paid my bill but it is not credited to my credit card. More than 12days till date it has not credited to my card and moreover the customer service team is totally irresponsible. No reply from them and not even a single mail from them. Only once I have received a call from them to discuss the issue and later no calls. Even no replies from them as I have sent almost 6mails to them. I am totally unsure where my money is gone. Giving 7,11,13,14 rupees as cashback and attracting the users, these apps were playing with our trust and belief. Dont ever never believe and delete this app at the earliest even though you guys had received some big cashback amount earlier. Beware of CRED.. Hope this is useful for new users. Truly not at all satisfied.
I have been levied with late charges even though as I have paid 2days before due date. Cred is saying nothing about it except you relax. Huge cheating app.

Causing a disruption in the credit card payment world this is an absolute must have app. Kudos to the team of CRED for having created such an easy to use and intuitive app. Benefits are galore and there is something for everyone. There is happiness to know that even you paying your regular credit card bills is giving you so many benefits. They are an absolute early starters to this idea and don’t think there is anyone who is even close to competing with them. I have personally benefited a lot and have been an absolute promoter. I have recommended through word of mouth to many and would continue to do that as I see absolute merit in have this app.

My previously paid bill is still reflected as unpaid

Heard a lot about this app and downloaded it. However, I still see the bill that I have paid for the last month is still reflecting as unpaid and the new bill is not shown at all. And I am not able to report this issue too. Tried using the help and reporting it, but when I am trying to use help and report my issue as it was not reflecting in the faq’s it is not allowing me to type and instead there Is a referrals and CRED gems popping up without allowing me to type my query. May be the app is good but still they have sinc issues with the bank is my estimation. I paid my bill via net banking in the last month.

I gave basic details in the app like phone number, email I’d. They showed my credit card details. Then they ask to verify the cards through otp which I did. Then they said they will credit 1 rupee into the account for verification. After that I was able to see all my card details like credit line, bill amount, last bill date, etc in the app
This happened yesterday and today I got a call from Sbi customer care. They said it’s customer verification call. They asked my 16 digit credit card number. I refused to give. Then they told my credit card number. Then they asked my validity date which I refused and then they told my validity date. . They sent some otp. I refuse to tell. Then they told bank details like bill amount, bill date, last credited amount (1 rs), credit line, etc. I believed and told otp and immediately 7900 rs got deducted. Immediately I called Sbi customer care and blocked the card, they said it was a fraud transaction. I fear there could be data leakage from this app.
