Worst CRED app

I am using cred app since 2017 but since last 3-4 years apps reward are useless and they are providing cashback ₹1, ₹2, ₹3 not more than that. Apps jackpot system using cred coin is one of worst thing they have made.despite of having cred points in lakhs and using for jackpot till the haven't win any jackpot. It seems scam to use cred coin. I will recommend to use other app for making Cc & utility payments. Since last six months I have stopped using cred and started using other app which is giving more cashback.

It is good app for paying credit card bill only and remind you about for making payments and deadlines and all things related to payment.
You can use it once in a month rest similar to all the app but a good thing is that you will also earn coin via doing payments later this app will digest all coin by playing spin games on that they will write will get iPhone,headphone, one plus but all these things are lies only at the end you will loose your coin and they will give useless coupons which is of no use. Good App, but Facing Glitches After Switching to a New iPhone

I have been using this application for a long time and never faced any major issues. The overall experience has always been smooth and reliable. However, after switching to my new iPhone, I have started experiencing frequent glitches and performance issues within the app. Certain features do not work properly, and the app occasionally becomes unresponsive.

Don’t like it anymore

I’ve used credit for a long time and I’ve enjoyed it but off late it’s just become an app for very low-grade sales pitches, financial loans and cobranded credit cards
None of these things would ever interest most people I know in fact, they are such low-grade products that even if I get it for free, I’d throw them away
And the persistent selling of the co-branded credit card is very annoying
Just waiting for an alternate app that understands the user and needs where you would want to quickly just get your payments done and if something‘s being sold to you at least it should be something good not low grade smart watches, and health supplements and another card to track

Cred Flash is disgusting

After being a loyal user for several years and maintaining a consistent record of timely payments, I recently had a disappointing experience with CRED Flash.
A late fee was charged, and despite receiving assurance from customer support that the amount would be reversed, it continued to appear in subsequent billing statements. More concerning was that additional charges and interest were applied to the disputed amount, significantly increasing the overall payable amount.
The refund process itself raises questions. If a fee has been approved for reversal, why does it take 7–14 working days to reflect? In today’s digital environment, such adjustments should be far more transparent and efficient. Customers should not have to repeatedly monitor their accounts to ensure promised reversals are actually processed.
Customer experience is built on trust, transparency, and timely resolution. Unfortunately, this experience fell short on all three fronts.
I hope CRED reviews its billing transparency and dispute-resolution processes to ensure that long-standing customers are treated fairly and are not burdened by avoidable charges while awaiting resolutions.

CRED App Stuck on Black Screen – Unable to Login or Use the App

Downloaded the CRED app with high expectations, but it doesn’t even get past the launch screen. After opening the app, all I see is a black screen. There are no buttons, no login option, no loading indicator, and no way to proceed. The app appears completely unresponsive.
I’ve tried reopening the app, but the issue remains the same. It’s frustrating to download an app that doesn’t even allow users to reach the login page. Before adding new features, the developers should make sure the basic functionality works properly.

I absolutely love CRED’s core UI design, but the app has completely lost its way. It’s turned into another wannabe-do-it-all app, buried under frustrating, irritating ads for its own features and gimmicks. Look, I don't want useless gifts or coins—I just want a neat, clean, default payment app that does its primary job right. Why can't India have a straightforward payment solution that focuses purely on utility? The rewards system is deeply annoying now; asking me to send notifications to others just to unlock something is a hard pass. Because of all this chaos, the main reason I even downloaded the app, managing credit cards is completely lost somewhere in the messy interface. I’ve stopped using it for card management entirely, and there's no way I'd make it my default UPI app. Let's be real: you aren't giving any actual good rewards like marketed anyway. It's just constant irritation.

Just a scam application

In name of rewards only get around 10 rs and some use less cred coins which ultimate use is to run on a rulet which boasts awesome products but upon spining what you get is a useless voucher which we can get even without all such hassle what the point to pay using cred to pay credit card bill when at the end of the day losing one will be customer. Duplicate Payments & No Customer Support

This has been one of the worst finance app experiences for me. Multiple repayment deductions for the same loan amount, no proper customer support, endless loading screens, and no accountability when money is involved. A finance platform should prioritize transparency and customer support, but my experience has been the opposite. There is no option to sort credit card statements by date. Default is by amount. Other option are “high to low”, category & range. Most useful option is missing!!

Remove the rewards option

I like the ease of credit card payments, but the thing is I don’t care about cashbacks or coupons (that most likely of of no use).

Not worth for high users of Credit Card

After using CRED for 4 months and making substantial amounts of payments for all my credit cards, I have to conclude that this app is not that rewarding for the hype it has been spoken about. True that the UI is providing a good experience but for any Credit Card User who spends more than a lakh of rupees as credit card spends, will find this disappointing. The only thing advantage here is it consolidates all in one place and payment is made easy. But EOD the high spender of credit cards are better taken care by the banks itself and there I found the rewards worthy. It’s a big learning that we continue to manage our cards on our own instead of accumulating in one place and facilitating revenue for someone with no rewards back, doesn’t make any sense. And for all this why sacrifice our privacy of sharing mail etc and after all these, it’s a faceless company as there no number to speak to anyone. The bot has an option but the kinda repeat questions it has been programmed with make you feel come out of support window. When a company is afraid to face customers with a calling in facility, it’s clear that the customers are going to suffer.
To conclude, it’s better that we manage our cards on our own and enjoy services directly from banks rather make someone earn money from our hard work. And this is just another hyped business.

No customer support

I made a payment for my credit card through the app and the amount was deducted and also I got SMS for the same, but it was never credited to the second party And when I raise a complaint, I am getting same computer generated message that it will get updated that's it. I am not able to go through after this because it never give me the chance to create a ticket. and the biggest head is they don't even have the customer care number so I again try to create a ticket by opening a ticket and different transaction then SURPRISE SURPRISE!! I am getting same computer generated message on mail for this time they don't even bother to call the customer and when finally they told me that we will update you for the same on after a week but I didn't get any resolution till now no matter what I do. They just sending me the same message again and again that our team is working on your issue and you will get update within two working days. I bet if anyone fall they will not be able to do anything apart from sending mail on rubbing hand and thinking there is my money you will be mentally harassed because of their useless customer service system

CRED’s “successful payment” ruined 20 years of perfect credit

I made a payment to my HDFC credit card through CRED one day before the due date. The app showed the usual green-tick confirmation saying the payment was successful so naturally, I trusted it. What CRED conveniently did behind the scenes was silently refund my payment, claiming it “failed to reach” the bank without a single notification, email, or alert. I only discovered this after my credit card payment was marked late and my spotless 20-year credit record was damaged because of their failure.
When I contacted CRED customer support, instead of owning up to their mistake, they arrogantly refused to acknowledge any fault, choosing instead to blame the bank for “not accepting the payment.” If the bank never received it, why did CRED’s own system show a “successful” confirmation and debit the amount from my account? This kind of deflection and lack of accountability is shocking for a company that handles financial transactions. Rather than investigating or taking ownership, their team was dismissive, robotic, and entirely unwilling to even admit that something went wrong on their end. Their behavior shows a complete absence of responsibility, transparency, or basic customer ethics. CRED’s silence, evasive responses, and refusal to take accountability make this entire experience feel like a scam wrapped in branding. If an app can’t guarantee that a “successful” payment is actually successful — or at least notify users when it isn’t — it has no business handling anyone’s money.
This negligence cost me a flawless credit history built over two decades, and their utter lack of accountability made it worse.
If you value your money or your credit score, stay far away from CRED.

Alarming Discrepancy in Electricity Bill Payment - CRED's Response Falls Short

I'm writing to share my disappointing experience with CRED's electricity bill payment service. On [Date], I paid my electricity bill through CRED, but the amount reflected on the platform was incorrect. The bill amount on CRED showed ₹4996, whereas the actual bill from BESCOM was ₹2498. I raised a ticket and reached out to CRED's customer support, highlighting the integrity concern.
To my surprise, the support team's response was that I should manually recheck all bills before paying through CRED. This response is alarming and unacceptable. As a bill payment platform, CRED's primary responsibility is to ensure accurate bill amounts. Their suggestion implies that users are responsible for verifying every bill, which defeats the purpose of using a convenient payment service.
I'm concerned about the potential discrepancies in my past bill payments, including credit card bills and other utility bills. CRED's handling of this issue has been horrible, from the beginning to the end.

CRED is a SCAM – They Stole My Money and Offer ZERO Real Support

This is not just a bad experience — this is a full-blown nightmare. I paid my phone bill through CRED, and the amount was deducted TWICE from my account. But only ONE payment was actually credited to the telecom provider. The rest of my money? Stuck with CRED.

The so-called in-app “chat support” is just a useless chatbot that repeats the same garbage responses over and over again. It doesn’t escalate the issue, doesn’t create a support ticket, and doesn’t let you share proof like your bank statement.
They literally said, “Please contact your telecom provider” — even though it was CRED that deducted my money twice.
This is not a tech glitch. This is gross negligence or worse, deliberate theft.
Your money goes in, and if there’s a problem? Good luck. You’re on your own.
I trusted CRED because it looked premium, professional, and reliable. But under that shiny app is a broken, irresponsible company that offers no accountability and no respect for its users. If you lose money, CRED WILL DO NOTHING.
This app shouldn’t just be avoided — it should be investigated.

I had ordered the product nexlev mattress vacuum cleaner on 11th Feb 2025, the product was delivered to me on 15 , as the product was defective and I created a return request on 18th Feb, but the product was not picked up by the pickup agent, and I called the customer service on the next day, they told me to wait for 48 hrs for the product to be picked up.. But no one came and picked the product. On 22 Feb the return window was closed.. and the customer service people had told me that by 28th the product will be picked.
Again I called the customer service 3 more times on every 3 days apart. But every time these people in customer service had told me that they will resolve the problem and do the refund soon.. it's been a month for today and I finally called the customer service regarding the pickup of the product.. but what she told me is that the return window is closed and the product will never be picked up. And nothing can be done from their side... This was the response I got from the Soo called Customer support... Soo using cred is completely waste and many a times they do send damaged producs. I have got 4 damaged products which are non returnable.. and even the returnable products are also not picked up..

Poor Delivery Service and Lack of Accountability

While Cred initially impressed me as a financial app, their move into product sales has been a letdown. I was excited to see big brands available, but my experience with Cred’s delivery process has been frustrating and disappointing. Orders routinely take over 10 days to arrive, and there seems to be no consistent tracking system or accountability for delays.
Unlike other e-commerce platforms, Cred doesn’t seem to prioritize customer satisfaction in its delivery service. There’s minimal communication once an order is placed, and customer support isn’t very helpful when it comes to getting updates on delayed orders. I had hoped that Cred’s attention to detail with financial services would carry over to this new offering, but it feels like the delivery side of things lacks the quality and reliability one would expect.
I hope Cred makes serious improvements to their logistics and establishes better communication with customers to provide updates on delayed orders. A faster, more reliable delivery service with real-time tracking would go a long way in restoring confidence in this service.

Shiny outside and SUPER DUPER FAULTY INSIDE

What kind of app when you can’t even reach for the support! Frequent payment failures! Once I paid credit card bill on the very early midnight of the overdue it’s because of their services made me fail many times and they took whooping six days to pay the payment and when I contacted support they sent me a mail and asked to click the link to make a call and that link doesn’t even work and I have mailed them several times but they only respond we are not responsible for the late fee! First of all no care a rats left nut about your responsibilities, my question is simple, why did it take whooping six days to reach my payment. And I forgot about it and I moved on, then again even on the early payment, they sent me some stupid WhatsApp text that it has failed and they have PROBLEM REFUND MY MONEY, which is despite I set the refund account. They say NEED MORE HELP, then when I tap that, a dialog box with some text which is the refined replica of the WhatsApp text, and the reply option is ONLY ONE and that is OKAY, shame on you guys. You can’t even refund properly. And moreover you can’t even reply properly to mails. ONE STAR IS JUST FOR UI. And finally THE GARAGE, you’re giving my brand new car 12lac value, and it’s Skoda Kushak, which is only 2months old and I bought it for 20lacs. This App is pure joke.

If you are expecting any support from their support team just forget it they will put the blame on you that you have selected the option while the the UI had the problem and the bug .. Please pay attention to every screen to smallest tick marks or else you will loose your hard earn money
Screen 1 Shows House rent when you go ahead with the payment on the 2nd screen it automatically tags under tuition fees and these people do not understand this simple bug and claiming to be tech company and putting the blame on the customer that you should have selected the wrong option and they irritated me to the core i dont know what kind of service level they are maiming it My morning has been ruined by these people the way the support team spoke while just trying to highlight the thing that what i faced the other should not face rather than taking the feedback they put up a blame on you only such pathetic services and UI too

Making fraud like Paytm

I am using Cred from many years. I have paid 123 credit card bills so far which was said by cred through email. I have paid a credit card bill payment on 3rd September for the bill which was due on 4th September. Post paying the bill the status was it is successfully aid to one card in 30 mins. Since I paid through cred I ignored the credit card app reminder . Today on 4th September at 8:54 pm I received a WhatsApp message saying my payment got failed. How it is failed when the status showed as successfully paid? And it is informed after two days. What if my due date was 3rd September? Are you guys trying to launder money by holding it for two days and returning it to customers? This is not the first time i am experiencing this. My request to all fellows don’t believe third party apps. Always pay your bill directly with the respective apps. I am going to post the same thing in linkdin with proofs. Boycott Cred.

Pathetic Insurance service

I applied for renewal of my vehicle insurance within the expiry of the existing insurance. Cred app gave false offers on insurance renewal premium and when I applied and made the payment, the app threw an error during the activation of the insurance. When I raised a customer support ticket, for this error, they gave false assurances that it will be resolved quickly but asked me to wait for maximum 1 week. They didn’t bother to give any updates and when I called on the penultimate day to know the status they asked me to again wait as the maximum period was not over! And that the team was working studiously on resolving the issue but funnily they couldn’t even explain what was the issue in the first place after working on it for 5 days! After the expiry of the given waiting time, they just canceled the insurance without even bothering to provide an explanation as to what was the issue and why insurance was canceled. When probed to their customer support, there are blaming the insurance company, then what the heck is Cred’s accountability, just saying “we are very sorry for your experience and will try to improve in future” This is just pathetic service. If you can’t handle then don’t get into this business. I’m not going to regret any body to this pathetic app ever!

Instead of directly giving a cashback of 4rs after making card payments, they make play with rigged machine and keep expecting huge cashback. These companies are going nowhere but to a hill with more steeper end. Why are you making such heavy good looking lies to customers? Dont they get it? Why are you running spinning games that is throwing fixed cashback. Even other after card payment showed upto section of winning thousand ruppees after making cc payment, when reported they changed the look to spinner which is fully rigged on fixed cashbacks. Stop playing games with customers emotions. Why to add such heavy lies, over flashy rewards & heavy ui that is busy is showing off style then doing the quick job. You guys are burning cash of investors & playing games with users. Hires goon to threaten and harass customers

One of my cousins missed an emi coz of a temporary financial crisis. He emailed cred and also spoke to number of executives on incoming calls from cred assuring that he intends to pay the cred cash he had availed and also is willing to pay any penalty fees applicable. Inspite of updating he is being bombarded with persistent calls every 10-15 mins. When he answers the calls and tells them he has already updated the information and wants to stop these calls they say “u ll get calls since u have taken money” “calls are system generated” and when asked to check the data on the system they say “we dont have any”. Not only this they also misbehave speak badly abuse over the calls. Some people disconnect the call and call on whatsapp or call from some other number since he started recording these calls, the sole purpose of calling on whatsapp and from other numbers is to abuse and harass. He is been mentally harassed by these callers from cred and has become frustrated and has developed anxiety and other health and mental issues. Cred hires goons to recover money even after charging late fees interest and other charges. Pleas donnot use this app orany service from them. Any which ways they dont offer any thing as rewards. Only coins to play stupid games and win coupons whoch u get free everywhere.

NEVER USE THIS APP TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNLESS YOU WANT YOURSELF TO BE MENTALLY HARASSED OR IF YOU WANT TO COMPLETELY WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME, I have tried to made a payment from my credit card through the app and the amount was deducted and also I got SMS for the same, but it was never credited to the second party And when I raise a complaint, I am getting same computer generated message that it will get updated that’s it. I am not able to go through after this because it never give me the chance to create a ticket. and the biggest head is they don’t even have the customer care number so I again try to create a ticket by opening a ticket and different transaction then SURPRISE SURPRISE!! I am getting same computer generated message on mail for this time they don’t even bother to call the customer and when finally they told me that we will update you for the same on after a week but I didn’t get any resolution till now no matter what I do. They just sending me the same message again and again that our team is working on your issue and you will get update within two working days. I bet if anyone fall they will not be able to do anything apart from sending mail on rubbing hand and thinking there is my money you will be mentally harassed because of their useless customer service system.

Worst application ever I known, which not having A customer support or customer care number or customer care gallery places, If we raised ticket than you don’t look into it seriously or sincerely but when we deactivate our than uh call us without any ticket. If someone get into some serious cyber fraud Than your team doesn't revert or look into it Such a worst app do not have any communication way. How someone call youu or contact you you only have one headquarter which is in Bangalore. I raised two tickets but got no calls or emails from you. How someone can contact you??? We don’t have any options. If you give a loan option so easily than at-least you should have a good communication way , Customer cares and galleries contacting number where we contact you easily. Transfer to wrong acc-claimed users fault

I have been using CRED for the past 2 years atleast and faced no issues on the same. However, of late, I added a new credit card from hdfc and tried to make my first payment. I could see that once I added it all my original transactions made on card were being reflected. I proceeded to pay my due. Apparently CRED traced someone else’s account based on my details and went ahead and processed repayment to them. Now is the funny part. They asked me to reset the card as the old details were still pointing to someone’s else’s account ( which I find really hard to believe coz the transactions were still mine) I proceeded to re-add and this time they concluded that I should reach out to hdfc to trace the transaction using the utr they provided and if in case, I can’t, I have to get a reply from hdfc exclusively in the format they provided. Now hdfc isn’t my best bud to comply to all that. They clearly stated on call that they can’t even trace this as a complaint. Now my credit card due date is nearing and this issue is unresolved, I asked CRED if they can take care of the last payment fee as well. There comes the twist. They blamed the entire issue as my fault since some 1 rupee validation check was not done ( which is specified nowhere as a disclaimer prior to payment).
There has been back and forth and the sad part is can’t even call them. Never using this app again nor recommending it to anyone.

Cred team support few staff are not attentive because of which customers face issue

I paid the electricity bill which shows me still in processing after 7 days. On contacting the support team they told it got failed and amount wilm be returned in 2-3 days. After 3 days on following up they asked the latest bank statement. I did shared the transaction history on the same day. They checked it on next day and emailing that statement is not latest. They are moving this back and not providing therefund. Although shared the screenshot where amount was deducted with transaction id they are not even checking in their system for the refund was ever initiated or not. Later after complaining got a call from escalation team who debugged the issue on call and they confirmed the glitch in app of showing text (in processing) and that refund was processed in other source and not the orginal source. Escaltion team resolved the issue however the previous support team was not so attentive and neither put effort on understanding and solving the issue.

Worst Customer Service Experience

Where do I start from. I have had the worst of the worst customer service experience from CRED. The multi talented customer service agents from CRED have consistently failed to understand what needs to be done and still they have failed to solve the query for which I had reached out to them in the month of March and the email chain is still on going. I’m so impressed from the impeccable service that though I mentioned that I will delete the app (of course once my query is solved) as I’m sick and tired of it, they have shown no urgency to have the query addressed. Even the wannabe applications in the market show some seriousness compared to CRED. I have nothing more to say as I am 100% sure that this feedback will be ignored like my emails.

Most useless app every😟

I have a credit score of 840, my card is on auto debit. What is the use of this app? Literally I downloaded it because of Kunal shah brand. But seriously this app don't even have a single use case. It's not solving any problem. It's proven coins earn when paid via app are useless too. And elite and muture audience with good score will not wasting their time on some random coin thing. Common don't be a kiddish. Good creditors don't want any upfront credit with extra interest. So, cred cash feature is also useless. Seriously, team need to find a use case of this app. They just are adding useless feature with no actual solving a deep pain point. In short this app is just a vitamin not a pain killer. The only features I am Interested in is Cred mint but that is in beta. I guess now you must be realising that you don't have any lenders. Again as said wealthy corporate employees don't need lending. I don't know why team is focusing on designing animation and not focusing on what problems it is solving for the end user.

Showing it’s true colors

I was probably the earliest customer to join Cred that showed promising prospects to disrupt the credit card repayments. I even remember I spoke to one of the senior guy from the company for over an hour and gave my inputs on how they can make the UX even better. Come 2023, everything from rewards to handling queries to scamming customers by misleading has become a habit of sorts. They ended up spending most of the investment in marketing and advertisements hiring Bollywood actors, sponsoring at IPL instead of rewarding their customers at 1/100th of the cost. Now that they captured 20% market in India and valuation at $5.5 Billion they are now showing their true colors. The coins earned are useless, rewards are almost zero which was the only USP of this app. For smallest of things you would have to raise a query if you successfully go past their poorly designed stupid bot. I have moved to CheQ which has less better UI/UX but guaranteed 1% rewards. I had personally valued Cred to be run with highest of standards that had a promising future as this was born and bred in india and not copied from westerners. But I am proved wrong.

Useless & Overhyped App

I used to be a regular user of CRED app but not anymore. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service that you provide which has just gone down over the years. Firstly, I would like to address the issue of CRED coins. In my opinion, they are absolutely useless. They serve no real purpose and are nothing more than a gimmick. It is disappointing to see that you are promoting the use of these coins, while ignoring the real issues that your users are facing. Secondly, the app UI is too cluttered and confusing. It is difficult to navigate and find the information that I am looking for. The overall user experience is poor, which makes it frustrating to use your app. Thirdly, the shopping experience on your app is pathetic. I have placed orders on multiple occasions, only to regret it later. Your app does not allow me to cancel an order once it is placed, which is extremely inconvenient. On the other hand, you can cancel an order whenever you want, without informing the customer. This is unfair and unacceptable. Fourthly, your customer service is useless. I have reached out to your team on several occasions, only to receive generic responses that do not address my concerns. It is disappointing to see that you are not taking the time to understand the issues that your users are facing and are instead providing generic responses. In conclusion, I am extremely disappointed with my experience using your app. I urge you to take the necessary steps to improve the quality of service that you are providing. Your users deserve better.

Unreliable and unsafe to use

In today’s 21 century where most of the people on internet and we heard about cybercrimes this app doesn’t have simple 2 way authentication though it has all our credit card, upi details and financial records. I have personally experienced loss of 25k due to its unsafe login process. The funny part is fraud person login to my CRED account and done transaction but except his name I am not getting any details from CRED support neither get security depart email id who can investigate and take necessary action. I may face more loss but I have taken right step quickly due to which I have been save from those losses. I have block my card removed all my details from CRED and most important I have deactivated my account. I will ensure my friends and family doesn’t use this app and also I will raise complaints to RBI and cyber cell as this app is very unsafe as anyone can login just with OTP and access all your financial data. I insist everyone do not go with ratings and go with practical approach.

Lots of animations - satisfiying and disappointing.

CRED app started out great with all the satisfying animations and beautiful UI. But when I started using the app excessively for UPI, the animations feel so annoying. Scratching a card (like in phonepe, gpay) still feels great as we are the ones scratching but in cred its like we just touch and wait for a 5-6 second animation to finish. I think the UX really need to change there because as far as I know, people are not really enjoying this. For credit card payments too the jackpot machine did felt annoying at some point. It has wasted me a lot of time making me spin and wait just so that it can disappoint me with a worthless reward. Definitely it is because I have not been able to win anything worth that time I have spent spinning the jackspot machine.

No redressal of my issue

I am going through some really bad experiences at Cred app!
This app used to be my favourite one and I even have introduced all my friends and family to this app. All my transactions are through Cred only. But the issues I am facing from last couple of months has caused me a lot of stress with no redressal at all from Cred. I have taken multiple cred cash, for which I am making the timely payment every month on or before the due date. But my account is charged every month multiple times incorrectly. As far as I can recall, 9 transactions of 295 each were debited for which I have complete record. But cred support replies with some pre-written robotic emails requesting pdf of the same. Sir, my request to you is to connect me with a human for heaven’s sake. It’s taking a lot of my mental peace and I will be left with no other option than to complain against cred for this if these unnecessary charges were not reversed. If I am prepaying all the EMIs, why do you need to charge me? You should know in case I make the payment on or before due date, there shouldn’t be any charges like this. I need my refund as soon as possible. Please cooperate. I would be happy to come back and give you a five star rating as it used to be my favourite app. Just kindly help me with my issue

Unreliable and age old software,require manual input from customer in every step

I would like to give 2 star rating based on following points Pro- this app provides points for every transactions,( which are pseudo,and can't be used anywhere) You can keep a track of your bills.😂😂 Cons -1. you need to do everything manually. 2. Points provided are good for nothing 3. Half of the app at each level,ask you to refer to get some benefits, but the small clause is -it is government office,where you need to go and run behind the customer care to claim your reward. Like after referral,follow your friend,when he does his first transaction,then message customer care that you made your friend make transaction,then apply for your prize, send 20 mails, and they will ask you every minute detail,which you need to provide. Start a fresh application every time and the best part it has to be done on very next day,or else they will say "sorry,sir /Madam,you are late "😂😂😂😂 4. They require access to ask your mail and messages,highly insecure

Worst customer experience

Hello there,
Recently, I had purchased 343 items and I was the highest to buy. I have necessary evidence of the same and after the time ended, it vanished and there is no word about that yet. The promotion that you played after this also the winner was announced. This is completely unfair, I will take this ahead on social media. This is complete fraud. I have spent a lot in this process. As said I have necessary evidence of the same. One of them is shared. Please look into this and if you’re not giving me what I’ve won, please cancel all the orders place or else I won’t hesitate to dispute the transactions with my bank.
Before this also they gave the scooter to someone else when I was the highest one to purchase by number at that time too. Shared a screenshot of that as well. I won’t keep quiet and that’s the reason why you all decided not to keep the live chart on the 1,00,000 ticket price. Played very smart but I know my rights, I’ll fight for it!

Making payment fail for no reason at all

First of all support section of the Cred App is the worst, it doesn’t show the open tickets/ recent conversations and then creates multiple tickets for the same issue, creating utter confusion. It’s just BOT replying to you and can’t really get to the solution of the problem instead gives nonsensical questions and nonsensical response for issue’s resolution.
And secondly when Google Pay says transaction is complete and internet is working how come your app shows network failure and fails the transaction, what is this scam 1992, trying to earn interest on people’s money because I have seen many other reviews as-well where people have this transaction failure issue. Although my money got refunded but the process of getting there was tiresome due to the multiple tickets and delayed response. If you want response better email them, there you might get delayed response but atleast it would make sense, but even in the email they say go to the support section of the app and when you go there, there’s nothing no history of conversation you've had before, not even showing open tickets, just plain bad experience.

Capital float will appear in Cibil report as leveraged

One of the major concern I see with the app is the fact that the CRED capital loan will come up in your Cibil report as though you have leveraged it without even using it. I happened to see this in my Cibil report and complained to CRED. Although they were quick to respond and rectify it they said it’s how the app works. Which means if you are typically using the app but not used the loan they are extending to you, it will still end up in your CIBIL score as though you have leveraged it with and paying it regularly. Unless you raise a complaint there is no way you can get it off the report. I wonder how much of chaos will happen if every bank which offers personal loan does it !!!!

Mobile number cannot be changed

I lost my old sim, so I applied for new mobile number and also I have updated all my bank accounts, credit cards with my new mobile number. Now I’m CRED app there is no option to change mobile number, even when you raise support ticket or via chat, no use. If I want to use CRED with old number, all my transactions are getting failed because UPI’s got changed. More over if you logout your account and try to login with new number, it still shows old number only. So I logged out from app, deleted the app installed it again now used new number. After login still shows old number only. Now u cannot even add UPI. It says mobile number registered in CRED is not used while registered. Not sure how these people are managing and quite painful to use in these kinds of situation. If it is working fine, then it works fine otherwise CRED is totally useless. No proper customer care support, no proper chat queries, very delay in responding to messages in chat bot and chat queries. Few questions to CRED team: 1. Why can’t you accept mobile number change. Like deregister and register with new number. Other apps like PhonePe, Google pe works very well in this situation, even bank websites, works well. 2. Your support/ chat system is not well, why there is no option of callback or speak to customer care person? CRED earns lots of money. Spend at least on customer support. 3. Why are you storing device information, means I can use only one account for one device, so you want me to buy new mobile if I have to update my CRED account details. Totally foolish. Now I have totally uninstalled your app.

Poor User Experience

I have been using the app practically from the start and can say with a fair degree of certainty that the overall experience if you’re shopping on the app is below average. The deals are pretty good but delivery schedules are inordinately long( Sometimes even 8-10 days) And God help you if you face a problem with your orders because their customer care is lousy and practically nonexistent. There is no helpline to reach out to and most of the time you’re talking to some bot or the other and answering a set of nonsensical questions that don’t get to the nub of the matter. Efficiency is lacking with a typical lackadaisical sense of entitlement. (Where they think they are doing you a favour) The credit card cash backs are also delayed or not received ( for eg 10% CB on X card on spend of X amount) When the matter is taken up with CRED they say contact the Bank and when we contact the Bank we are told that CRED hasn’t shared the relevant details and so we go round and round till we give up out of sheer frustration. Good application, but there should more option to utilise coins

Am using this app form last 2years, over a period of time they have improved a lot and reduced the chances of rewarding☹️. Now they just give us coins. Now with this coins what to do?
Have some 2L coins, it’s of no use!
When planed to redeem them with the products am very upset 😢, because either the product quality is not or product price is too high.
Now a days many apps are providing like you guys and they are allowing to buy some items with of completely with coins/points.
Here no such option, this month have reduced paying bills here because of this, am sure you guys may loose customer if you guys are not working on this computation in the market. (This only the opinion, since am happy with this app providing this feedback)
There is no option to buy something with only coins or lesser price.
At least there should be some option where if we have some ‘X’ coins exists, redeem them with nice quality of product with 80% of coins and 20% by paying to the product, I don’t see such option also.
They should have more good branded products, since this is professionally nice app. They should maintain same professional in-terms of coins redemption too.
Sharing one experience, I brought some earphone thinking they will send me the good product but it was a pathetic product. There should be option to write a product review in the app itself so that other will not suffer like me.
Please maintain some quality of products as you guys are maintaining for rest of the things.
One thing I like is that, customer support. If some issue reported they will be very supportive and quick in resolving. For this will give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pathetic customer support

It’s all good when the payment is successful but when the payment got struck then the problem arises.
I’ve paid an amount of ₹2,20,000 towards my credit card bill 6 days before the due date and the payment got struck and till the due the due date.
The amount is showing credited in CRED app but it is not reflecting in credit card. So when the due date is over we suppose to pay late fee, interest and a late payment in our credit history.
CRED rules says when payment got struck make an alternate payment to the bank to avoid those fines and interest. How can we pay the amount when our amount is struck with them.
There is no way to contact the CRED customer care support team. Only option we have is to write to them for which they never reply.
Credit card issuer doesn’t care when you actually paid the amount if you paid through any third party apps. So they levy interest and fines on you.
It’s better always use your bank’s online banking to pay the bills so that bank will take responsibilities when something goes wrong.
Don’t fall for the cash backs which is less than 0.1% of the payment value.
I got around 4k cashbacks for using CRED till date, the fine and interest would amount more than 10k.
It takes hundreds of successful transactions for gaining that amount and one unsuccessful one that charges more than double the amount.

Be aware, it’ll decrease your credit score

Please spend few minutes and read it carefully. I was regularly using this app but in recent event this app doesn’t forwarded paid amount to my credit card bank. This I come to know when I got a call from a bank. As per the bank I’m defaulter now and it’ll affect my credit score. More than 2 days have passed and still I can see my payment is processing state on CRED app. I’ve paid the amount through internet banking. Also there is no customer care number to contact instead they have stupid catbot which is more useless than this app. My payment amount is 1.25 lacs and now I can’t even cancel or do re-payment. Money is already deducted from my account and no option to cancel it. Don’t get trapped in their ads and useless CRED coins they are of no use, I already have almost 6,00,000+ useless coins. This is the new age scam to earn interest by holding people’s credit card payment for few days.

It doesn’t update my credit score keep’s reflecting 5 days to go!

Such a worst app!! I was excited to use the app after my friends referred me, I’m a new credit card holder.. it’s notenjoyi opening in my phone at all, where as my other friend who is also a new user was able to download activate and pay his bill in his own CRED, where as I am waiting from past 15-20 days approximately to activate ( everytime it asks me to wait as it’s verifying) yesterday it showed me that I will get activated today.. but again it went to 5 days!!! This is getting in my nerves.. why do you develop such an unwanted eligibility! Verification method.. I downloaded the same app in another phone and paid the bill of ₹23,296, and still in my phone it’s not opening 😒

Most beautiful useless app

The honeymoon period with actual useful offers and rewards is over for Cred’s early customers. Now this app is full of useless offers and an e-commerce store full of over priced fancy useless products. And their next big thing Cred cash will surely trap many unfortunate financially illiterate youth in a high interest rate debt rabbit hole. The only benefit for using Cred now is that 10-15 rupees peanuts you get as cash back every time you do a credit card payment. And definitely Cred is making huge profit by mining all that highly sensitive financial data of users.
Seeing the massive popularity of Cred advertisement reminds me of that Noam Chomsky quote - “Markets are supposed to be based on informed consumers making rational choices. But an ad’s only purpose is to create uninformed consumers making irrational choices.”
That being said, being an iOS developer myself, I am a huge fan of Cred’s UI and UX. Your app is an inspiration for me in my day to day work. And also I am a fan of Kunal’s tweets and podcasts. But I am sure this guy is again gonna make hell lot of a money by providing another much hyped, no substance product by selling highly sensitive user data.

No longer useful

I’m a CRED user since the beginning and I see many things changed with time. It was quite rewarding during the initial days and I have redeemed good no of products by just using my CRED points or very minimal cash which were quite a loot. But these days I am not able to find any reward that my CRED points will get me and the rewards which are listed needs a payment to be done and the focus has been shifted completely on CRED coins which are not easier to get. As per my view, CRED has become an usual ecom website which sells things and I couldn’t find any reward that I can redeem by just using my CRED points. Now I feel that CRED is no more rewarding for me and I will stop using this app shortly if this rewardless culture is continuing. these jackpots are just brand awareness campaign on your platform and full of crap.
The one best thing is the user experience of this app has improved exponentially and the expense tracking tool is a killer. But rewards were my main motive not jackpots when I installed this app and that is not here now.
I hope the CRED team will consider this concern and I expect them to do something on this.

Issue ticket closed without resolving

I don’t think the support time has time to resolve the issue, may be that’s the reason they don’t give it back on-time or no proper response. I had payment related issue during the initial times of Cred, but dint get any proper response & so payment took time to get credited to my card. April-21, I had issue with the reward points also, I made a total payment of 3500 much before the due date, but the point raised with just 600 when compared my last month’s. (I have a screenshot for the same) And when raised my first ticket for help, they said that was correct & I requested them check again, but in vein. Being, the issue unresolved I thought of raising another ticket, & to my astonishment I found my previous ticket closed without any response. So I raised another ticket, asking for the proper explanation & response to the primary issue. Even to this day I am yet to get a reply & this time it makes me feel weird on finding that the second ticket was also closed, without explanation for the closing of first one & proper response for the primary issue. I use not to check my card statement believing this CRED app, but now I doubt about the amount that’s been debited from my account towards card payment. Whether the same amount has been credit to the card or not...? I need to go through all the statements since the time I started making payment over CRED.

Very bad application

CRED as an application which displays the credit card information is a very good app. But in case pf transaction it is a very bad application. It is the worst application i must say. I payed my credit card bill through cred and due to some reason it got failed and the refund was processed to some unknown account. When trying to contact support there was no email no toll free number or any means of contact info in the application nor in the website. Even a proper reason for the transaction failure is bot given in the message. In the app is says chat with us in the support section. But it doesn’t provide any option to chat. It gives a certain list of options and preconfigured answers. Beware , if you pay through cred then your money is very likely to be gone forever in vain.
To cred team. Atleast provide a customer care number or a proper chat window for your clients to raise queries. Atleast understand that you are dealing with money and take care of it.

No way to update payments made outside CRED

The app is good. Helpful and easy to use. However if you make any payment outside CRED, this app will make you regret that because it wall not update such payments and will harass you and even scare you with notifications like “YOUR CARD BILL IS OVERDUE”. Or “INTEREST AT THE RATE 35% IS BEING CHARGED TO YOU”. It’s funny because they like to remove / extract all types of data and transactions from our credit cards and Netbanking, but they can’t remove data about payments made outside CRED using the same Netbanking. At least they should have some mechanism to manually feed information about any payment made outside CRED. Even the “support” section in app is not giving any support and simply states - “payment made outside CRED is not reflected in the app.” Its sad that such a good app has completely ignored such basic features; or rather ‘chose’ to ignore such basic features such as manually feeding payment details to avoid such deadly notifications about “charges” and “penalties” and “interest” etc.

Not good anymore

Now, you can’t get anything free even if you are paying 1lac credit bill every month. Everything is paid for us. But they make money as they keep our money for a day or two, get interest from somewhere and then deposit our money to bank.
Basically, now it’s just a platform for cred owners to earn money from someone else’s money and to promote stupid and newly launched products on cred. They say we are giving discount because you are cred user. Such discounts or coupon are available on internet if you just google. You don’t have to check more than top 5 results to get valid coupon.
So, their plan is to earn in 2 ways(at least):
1) Get interest on money someone paid to cred because they deposit to bank few days later.
2) By promoting newly launched stupid products. They get commision because cred has userbase.
They don’t even give you T-shirt for free even if you have 10lacs point.
Note to Cred: Try giving few things for free and increase the number of points to redeem. In case someone has a lot of points(which means he has paid a lot of credit card bill through cred) he should get something. If not, why would I pay through cred and wait for them to credit to their bank few days later and come again to verify. I recently started verifying because I paid through cred and it didn’t get transferred to bank and my bank citi automatically deducts min due. That means I ended up paying total due + min due. That’s not a good service, right ?

Doesn’t let you delete your account!

For an app handling so much of your sensitive data, they fail to provide any trust in you considering how much they’ll try to distract you and prevent you from deleting account from their databases. I didn’t even make a payment, and wanted to delete my account and had to go through a frustrating 30 minutes of a unnecessarily roundabout chatbot, and a customer support executive who replies once in 5 minutes to get to know that the issue has been “escalated” and will be looked at in the next 5-7 working days. What happens if that time period passes and nothing has progressed? That remains to be seen.
It is unacceptable that there’s no direct and transparent account deletion feature and no actual customer support on this application. They stick a FAQ and hope that you never actually try to escalate issues with them.
Please don’t waste your time with this app as their business model will be to sell your financial data to advertisers. If not that, they will use your money which you’ve given them for their private investments in the 2 day period before your credit card account actually receives the money.

No Guarantee for payments

I have been using CRED for two years. I haven’t faced any problem till now. So I thought it was safe but when I got a issue I realised how worst could be.
Just sharing my experience with CRED. I have made a payment before due date and it reflected in my bank a week after due date. I have been charged with late fee by bank and when approached bank they stated that CRED is not an authorised payment gateway and hence they cannot help in this regard. Worst part is there is no proper communication channel to approach CRED apart from chatbot. They have no customer care. Only possible means is to contact support team is either mail or chat. Even this chat will take long time to get reply. They don’t have any proper tracking for the complaints raised. You’ll be getting same repeated replies. Fortunately my issue is only late payment. If your money got stuck with CRED means it’s very simple.
You lost your money. CRED will not help. So I strongly recommend not to use this.

A must for credit card users

I have been using credit card since 2002. I have been a defaulter in many months in past and paid huge fines and interests. I had to take personal loans to pay credit card bills. What was the reason? I was not able to keep track of my credit card bills and was unaware of how much I was paying on bank charges. I find CRED as the most essential app for anybody who has credit card. It not only reminds, shows you the charges and expenses by category but also rewards you for paying the bills through the app. Most interestingly you can just pay in few clicks through the app. Good job guys. Very intuitive design and you have customer in mind. The way this app is designed is very artistic and unconventional. Keep it up.

Irresponsible and zero Customer service. Even payment not credited to my card since 12days

I have been using cred app since 3months. First 2months its fine. 3rd month I have paid my bill but it is not credited to my credit card. More than 12days till date it has not credited to my card and moreover the customer service team is totally irresponsible. No reply from them and not even a single mail from them. Only once I have received a call from them to discuss the issue and later no calls. Even no replies from them as I have sent almost 6mails to them. I am totally unsure where my money is gone. Giving 7,11,13,14 rupees as cashback and attracting the users, these apps were playing with our trust and belief. Dont ever never believe and delete this app at the earliest even though you guys had received some big cashback amount earlier. Beware of CRED.. Hope this is useful for new users. Truly not at all satisfied.
I have been levied with late charges even though as I have paid 2days before due date. Cred is saying nothing about it except you relax. Huge cheating app.

Data loss

I gave basic details in the app like phone number, email I’d. They showed my credit card details. Then they ask to verify the cards through otp which I did. Then they said they will credit 1 rupee into the account for verification. After that I was able to see all my card details like credit line, bill amount, last bill date, etc in the app
This happened yesterday and today I got a call from Sbi customer care. They said it’s customer verification call. They asked my 16 digit credit card number. I refused to give. Then they told my credit card number. Then they asked my validity date which I refused and then they told my validity date. . They sent some otp. I refuse to tell. Then they told bank details like bill amount, bill date, last credited amount (1 rs), credit line, etc. I believed and told otp and immediately 7900 rs got deducted. Immediately I called Sbi customer care and blocked the card, they said it was a fraud transaction. I fear there could be data leakage from this app.
