I have never seen a worst mobile app banking app like this. It is not recognising transaction password and always rejecting password as unsuccessful. Nobody seems to rectify such bugs.

This app should give option to for the newly installed app user wether to sign in through username and password or by credentials of debit card details . As for me it first fetch detail of my just asking for Debit card detail which it fetch for the first time user by sim card via mobile data and then i have to enter my debit card detail linked to my account , but after entering all thing correct it keep saying card does not belong to the linked customer id ..
kindly update sign-in option as this app is unable to find my customer id wich is linked to the debit card so that i can have other option to use this app if debit card have any problem or there is any problem with my first option of login so that i can have the other secure option for the same.

In today’s tech world and the innovation india offers to BFSI industry of the world, it saddens to experience this large bank’s app as timid and extremely lack of customer centric UI experience. Inspite of having joint accounts, as the money manager of my household, I cannot access my spouse account. The internet banking set up for NEFT/RTGS done, has to be re-done here. A stmnt view on the app is devoid of any buttons to go back and manage the work intended. One has to close the app totally & re-do the entire process even for a single date change!!! Whoever is reading this and if there is any BOI personnel intending to provide basic good app must do the basic needful. See any other nationalised bank app. They are basically customer centric. But not BOI mobile app. So the visit to branch with further lack of service are experienced, continues.

Worst experience on iPhone 14 pro max the upper portion of the app window like exit button the 3 dash bar on the left for opening various options all are superimposing with the dynamic island the battery logo the network signal bar and the watch on the left let alone the boi logo that is completely cut out by the dynamic island. It’s the worst banking app I ever used. BOI upgrade your standards. Being such a big bank you are not developing the good quality mobile apps, Pathetic. Right now when I try to open the app it asks me to verify with phone number where in app is supposed to send the SMS. When I click on next it kills the app automatically. Fix glaring bugs
App seems to have lots of glaring bugs, going through reviews these bugs have been plaguing this app since over 1 year and developers seems to not be concerned. Most obvious is the calendar. How could you have missed it? Did you not test it? Or just wanted to have a app because every other Tom Dick and Harry has an app? This is not a calculator or torch app but a financial services app, update it at the earliest please before people get frustrated that it starts affecting your core banking business.

Stopped working
I am not able to login into the app. Just after I changed my expired password, It won’t letting me log in again even after multiple attempts. It keeps showing err msg box “ unable to process, try again”. I reinstalled the app thinking it was a technical issue but now after reinstallation I am not able to register my account again.

Many times they don’t allows there users to get there passbook entries by simply throwing an irrelevant error just to hide their back end server connectivity issues! Also, sometimes throws an error of transaction declined by the bank while fetching the transaction details! This issues occurs frequently and without any reasons! Worst e-Banking Application! Bank of India disappointed me. when every bank is giving its customer an option to open RD and FD through its mobile apps,bank of India failed so. I am trying to register myself to the phone banking through this app....! But it is not letting me in....! I have tried more than 10 times but after registering number when i select customer ID & bank account and click on finally....! The app is really good. Few things in particular the done list while setting transaction password is really game changing. I would really love to see credit card option in the app.
