Worst service and customer support

I made the payment, I've put in my details right and if it is showing wrong I reach out! No one responds and I get to wait all day,
I've got connected to quite a few agents on chat And none as in like none are interested to rectify your own mistake.
My professional settings changed and KYC was not going through.
I ask the agent to cancel the order they are rude and really hesitant to provide help

Early closure charges scam

You’ll be told of the early closure payment system only after you have placed the order. Because after that you are stuck. They don’t show any kind of terms and conditions before the payment. Or inform you of the concepts of early closure penalty before placing the order intentionally. Scammers.

Worse than furlenco. Scamming via delivery fee

Rentomojo is a pathetic service trying to over charge at every point
First they charge a very hefty delivery feee (which furlenco does not charge)
Then they ask if you are a working professional and give you a delivery date of a working day and timing of 9 am to 1 pm
Now if you dont like this date and time, you need to pay double delivery fee, again!!
I had read about their scam but never thought it will be this elaborate and trying to earn via delivery fee. Pathetic.

I have had a bad experience with RM bcz of their worst customer support services and also the way they rob us on late fee payments. And one day after paying the amount a day late their agent came to retrieve the products abruptly..now they are saying last months pending dues i have to pay as the items are showing still active..and they donno any agent. These people are completely certified frauds!! Don’t buy things from them they will loot you!

Please read this before using rentomojo. Worst service ever

I placed an order on 22nd of feb for TV and Bed, the product got delivered on 1st march . The TV was without wall mount or stand , and carpenter said the bed sent is wrong with different parts and some parts missing. They replaced the bed after almost a week on 6th march and again delivered a wrong bed. No one takes the accountability in rentomojo i repeat no one . You will be mentally drained after multiple calls , multiple tickets explaining them to fix the issue . It’s better to rent from a local shop in your town after seeing the product in reality and choosing it .

There services are pathetic and all they do is lie all the time. I have raised a request for RO installation 5 days ago and still they haven’t done it inspite of calling more than 10 times.. upon asking there agents are saying that we called you and you didn’t pick up the phone. I made the biggest mistake by going with the RentoMojo. Worst customer care and after sale service. Beware of such scammers.

Rento Mojo totally fraud

They are charging too much for any subscription. You have taken. I have taken the subscription for bed and mattress, and I have worst experience earlier. Also, rent executive support is very bad. They won’t connect with you when you need them. They will generate new bill for you and then they will call you and ask you for extra amount for your subscription. Also, they have some certain rules for early closer charges, you will have to pay early closer charges. If you are closing your subscription within or before your time, you need to close the subscription exactly on the day when your service is going to end if you are closing the subscription few days before it’s not going to work out, they will tell you need to close the subscription exactly this same day, and you cannot connect them when you are trying to close the product. You will be only connected back from them. When they are eligible to charge you extra for next month bill.
I would rather suggest everyone to purchase the product directly.

I am just fedup of these fraud people. I raised a closure for one of my sofa, they insisted and suggested me a sofa cum bed for upgrade. And then it took them 20 days to inform me that the sofa cum bed wasn’t available. After 15 days when the product is available on their app, I booked the pull out sofa cum bed and after approximately a week, they delivered the manual sofa cum bed, and upon raising the concern of the wrong product, they replied and said ‘color is same, so can’t do anything’, even their engineer visited and confirmed that the product is different but the customer care never agreed and I had to return the product. They took 15 days to pick up the product. And getting refund wasn’t an easy task.. SO HELL NO, Don’t use this app, if you’ve no patience and you aren’t ready to sacrifice your time..

Worst Experience Ever – Avoid Rentomojo 🚫

Absolutely terrible service. It has been 10 days since my bed was delivered and it is still not installed. This is beyond frustrating.
The installation team came to my house and then said they didn’t bring the tools needed to install the bed. Seriously? How unprofessional can you be? After wasting my time, they simply rescheduled again and again without any proper update.
Customer support is completely useless – no clear answers, no urgency, no responsibility. Every time I contact them, they just delay things further.
I ordered the bed expecting 1–2 day delivery and quick setup, but instead I am left sleeping without a proper bed for over 10 days.
This is one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. Zero professionalism, zero accountability, and zero customer care.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from Rentomojo. Extremely disappointing 😡

No service, customer support, will hold you money for long without you getting real services.

I placed an order for rent. The app took upfront payment, not allowing to proceed without payment of product.
Then asks for kyc verifications of both myself and parents.
Due to their own problems, had to fill kyc 5times, the verification alone took more than 3days. Multiple times prompting and forcing for parent verification even though once done.
After all this, a phone was made from their end, requesting bank statement, which i provided and then i got a call today, saying the account balances don’t match in the bank statement - official e-statement provided by sbi itself, and requesting for our offer letter of internship and parent bank statement. Now i have joining from tomorrow nd m stuck with no source for purified water.

I had cancelled my subscription well in advance, but the furniture was never picked up. After this, the company completely disabled the query resolution section in the app, leaving me with no way to raise a request or complaint. The chat support has been non-functional, and despite repeatedly calling customer care and requesting pickup, I was met with complete indifference. Meanwhile, I continued to be charged rent.
I had clearly informed the company multiple times that I vacated the apartment. The furniture is currently with the owner of the property. Since the company failed to act despite several follow-ups, they will now need to coordinate directly with the owner to recover their furniture.
To be very clear, this is not my furniture, yet I made consistent efforts to get it returned. There has been absolutely no support from the company’s end. This review is being posted only because there is no other channel left for the company to acknowledge or address the issue. I am no longer liable for the furniture.

Disappointing Experience with Rentomojo

I’ve had a rather frustrating experience with Rentomojo, and I feel it’s important to share it.
Payment Issues: Even after I made the payment on time, Rentomojo’s system failed to reflect it. They reached out to me claiming that the payment was pending and showed up at my address to collect the rented items, threatening to take them back. It was both inconvenient and stressful, especially when I had already settled the payment. The lack of communication between their system and the customer service team is a major flaw.
Delayed Response for Issue Resolution: One of the items I rented, a purifier, was having technical issues. Unfortunately, Rentomojo’s response time was disappointing. It took them two days to address the issue and get the purifier up and running again. In situations where you depend on these items, waiting that long is not acceptable.
Lack of Support: Another major frustration is the absence of a clear way to reach a customer service executive directly. They do not provide an option to escalate an issue or talk to someone who can resolve problems. This makes dealing with issues extremely difficult.
High Preclosure Charges: If you decide to close your rental early, be prepared for hefty pre-closure charges. The fees they charge are much higher than what I expected, which makes it less flexible for customers who need to make adjustments in their rental period.
Overall, I’m left with the impression that Rentomojo needs significant improvements in its communication, customer service responsiveness, and internal processes to ensure a smoother rental experience for their customers

Worst app for renting furniture

I raised an upgrade request on 27th Aug’25, scheduled for delivery on 31st Aug. I waited the entire day without any update, and when I finally tried to reach support, it was nearly impossible to get connected over a call. After struggling with the chatbot for 15 minutes and repeatedly requesting, I was finally connected—only to be told that the item was out of stock and would be delivered whenever available, with no timeline provided. It’s frustrating to see how an order can even be accepted if the item isn’t in stock.
On the very same day, I ordered an air fryer. After making the payment, I got a pop-up saying the payment had failed, so I placed another order. Shockingly, both orders were accepted, and despite immediately canceling one, they still delivered both. When I asked them to take one back, they asked me to raise a cancellation request again and said delivery charges would be deducted from my refund.
This is by far the worst customer experience I’ve had on any app—completely unprofessional, careless, and with the audacity to charge customers for their own mistakes.

Affordable Comfort Without the Burden – Thanks to RentoMojo! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was really planning to buy a new bed and mattress for myself, but while looking online, the prices for a bed with a mattress were very high. I wasn’t sure if I should spend that much money, especially considering my other expenses.
Then I heard about an app called RentoMojo, and without a second thought, I downloaded it. I was shocked (in a good way) to see the prices and offers they were providing on beds with mattresses for rent.
I selected a single bed with a good mattress for myself, completed my KYC, and made the payment. I did have a little confusion while using the app, so I contacted customer service, and they were very helpful after the payment process.
I received a delivery date for when I would get my bed and mattress. Both items arrived fully packed and in new condition.
I’m really happy with the experience, and I will definitely recommend this app to my friends so they can also rent furniture without putting a burden on their pocket.

They are not a genuine company the review you see on their app and website are all fake and filtered they only post 5 star review to build peoples trust so that they can scam you. They ask you for your bank details PAN details and bank account statement to check your cibil before renting you their furniture’s which is a scam why they need your bank account statement….They took our money and when we cancelled the order they didn’t refund the money it’s been almost 6 business working days along with 4 weekend and yet there is no response from them…Don’t fall for their good review you see on their website….This company is totally phishy and they are not genuine they do things on their own term and whenever you will ask for your money they will continuously ask you for your bank account and PAN details l…..They are SCAMMERS so be aware people.

Pathetic service

U have the worst service ever..
I have been struggling so much to rent a ac from u guys since a month..
1st u guys took ages to approve my kyc, then oneday someone came to deliver the ac , next day someone came to install the ac,

Please avoid, to save your time

Rentomojo is an absolute sham of a service. These people do delivery and installation separately. And the most annoying part about it is that there is no proper way of communicating with their customer service or their logistic team, and the sales person only answers to issue by saying that they have raise tickets. I ordered a smart tv on the 30th of April. Which they said went out of stock and shifted the delivery date to 9th May. Now that the TV has been delivered, they have messaged me saying that installation has been done as I had opted for wall mounting, but none of that have been done. And when I’ve raised this issue, they are saying the only open spot left is in 14th but they’ll bill me from 9th itself. And the worst part is that they haven’t even sent me the parts for wall mounting, so I can’t even do it on my own. Never make the mistake of renting from them, use websites like furlenco instead.

This is a fraud company

I had ordered 2 chairs from rentomojo. When the delivery happened, the chairs had different handles. That time i thought that even if the handles of the chairs are different still the delivery is done by Rentomojo’s team so they will take back the chairs when i will close my subscription. I had no clue rentomojo will mess up the situation so much while closing the request. After putting subscription closure request, the same chairs were picked up which were earlier delivered to me. But then I got a call from Rentomojo saying handles are different. I told them that these are the same chairs which were delivered to me and I didn’t know i had to report seeing different handles of the chair as that time i thought as they had only delivered these products to us so they will take the same products back. But they are not listening to me. It is delivery guy’s issue if he has delivered incorrect chairs. Why will I suffer because of this? I seriously regret renting furniture from rentomojo.
I am having such a bad time now. Its so difficult dealing with rentomojo. They have very bad customer service as well. Even if you email them, they don’t reply for days. They will be like have patience, we are getting back to you and will not respond for days. Pathetic customer service.

Looting Used

I am extremely frustrated with RentMojo’s service. After requesting a closure of my rental, they extended the pick-up date just to ensure my payment due date would align with the extended period, forcing me to pay the remaining rent. On top of that, they also charged an additional one-month pre-closure fee, which I believe is an unfair practice.
What makes this situation worse is their lack of customer support options. There’s no phone number available for direct assistance, and once I raised the closure request, they even disconnected the chat support, making it nearly impossible to resolve any issues or get clarifications.
Overall, RentMojo’s approach feels deceptive and manipulative, pushing customers into paying extra fees under the guise of extensions. I would strongly advise against using this app, as the experience has been both frustrating and disappointing.

Lack of customer support

My issue started with the fridge breaking down. It stopped cooling on Friday and I raised a repair request on a Sunday. Monday I was told they would respond back within 24-48 hours. Tuesday they scheduled for repair on Thursday. Thursday a personnel comes in for repair and tells me the compressor isn’t working the unit needs to be replaced. A replacement request was placed. I was called and told it can only be replaced on the coming Sunday. It’s already a week now.
Thousands of rupees worth of groceries had to be thrown out just because of this. Get a call again on Friday for the same and I request for an earlier delivery as it’s already a week without a fridge. All I get are rude responses. Call was dropped without a solution. Contact chat regarding the same issue and get the exact same reply. I got another call where I confirmed for delivery on Sunday as they refused to budge on earlier delivery.
The lack of being able to prioritize the need of their customer who they provide services to is mind blowing.
Now I get a call again on Saturday asking for delivery on the 8th. I keep telling them I am a working professional and not available during weekdays. So the delivery needs to be done on Sunday. Again no solution only robotic responses.
Such lack of empathy and horrible service isn’t going to take your business anywhere.

Try only if you’re lucky

If you’re lucky, you will get a good product. Else, they wil sic you with a defected product and refuse repairs. That too something as a fridge, which usually, people have only one in a house and is very critical for day to day functioning. No pre-delivery inspection was conducted which was confirmed by the repair guy that came later. He was not authorized to make any part replacements so that day was a total waste. Replacement was authorized but for a week later. For some critical items I think exceptions can be made and processes be expedited. But how will that happen since they don’t have a call support centre and the chat agents just give mechanical robotic responses. They had no empathy. It’s been 2 weeks without a fridge in house so I don’t know what else to do but to post here. I’m only expecting corporate lingo in response “if they do respond to this”. But judging by other 1 star reviews, I don’t think they care about all this. I guess I will just have to cancel it. Should’ve brought a fridge on emi rather than renting it out. People have just lost their humanity in hunger for profit margins.

Once a good option. Growing pathetic with time

I placed a relocation request for August 31 and selected the drop date for September 2nd. Now I am getting a call from their executive that one the items in the list of relocated items have gone out of stock. I didn’t understand when I placed a relocation request, that meant picking up from one place and delivering in another place. How can one item go out stock in the middle of this process? After that their executive is saying that they won’t be able to deliver the items before 6th September. Why do they keep an option of choosing a delivery date when they are going to do whatever they feel like? And what kind of a service is this that you take forever to deliver those item? there was a bed included in the items and I have a spine patient at my home who can’t sleep on the floor. Off lately, everytime I have been going for booking something from them they leave me with too much harrasment be it for delivery or pick up or installation. I have been using this service since 2019 and have seen their degrading service year after year. They don’t value consumer needs and only stick to stupid policies for no reason.

After using Rentomojo Products, Review.

I have rented 3 products from them in the last 1 year. 1) A 43" Television 2) A queen size bed 3) A mattress My experience with Rentomojo was horrible. I'll personally request everyone to not rent an TV or electronica from Rentomojo, not only do they give the worst products but when you call them for replacement their employees will stall you as much as they can, wasting your time & money. My 43 inch TV was so bad that in our 6 month rental tenture we much have hardly used it few times. Major problem with the TV: It take forever to start It does not connect to Netflix and there is no alternative It has horrible playback quality It heats up so much that it shuts down on its own. The mattress & the bed is also horrible. Somehow Rentomojo is more interested in cheating their customers rather than doing business fairly. I will personally RECOMMEND AGAINST renting Rentomojo products at any cost if you like you hard earned money and you don't want to waste it on garbage products.

They do not even compromise for a month.
They do not provide you to make two payments in one go.
They will be keep calling you and sending you threatening msgs as if you do not pay the bill even within a month there would be visit at your home.
I mean if a person is availing your services since past 2years then you can’t wait for the payment for a month if somebody wants to pay two months payments together.
Pathetic and the payment was of Rs. 1334 only.
There must be a tat atleast and specially for the old customers. The reality is you don’t keep the track you just jump into the payments things.

Pathetic Experience

I rented an AC last Sunday and, as per their website, installation is supposed to be done within 48 to 72 hours of delivery. Despite my efforts to follow up over the past three days, including conversations with 10 different support agents, there has been no resolution to my query. The long wait times imply they think customers have nothing better to do, and the support team appears to be clueless. Each time I inquire, I receive the same response: support and logistics are separate entities, located in different places, yet I’m assured my query has been escalated and will be resolved ‘shortly.’ After more than 3 hours spent talking to them across 10 discussions, there’s still no resolution in sight, nor can they provide a specific date or slot for installation. I’ve never encountered such a disorganized startup before. It’s bewildering how the management operates and why investors continue to fund them. More than my query, they need to fix how they operate.

One of the worst experiences

I don’t usually bother to write a review but this app irritated me so much that i am here. Abysmal customer support, i mean there is not even a number and they just randomly call you when you are stuck on a “payment step” . After giving them money you are on your own. I ordered a combo of a fridge , a desk and a chair. After payment it just showed the chair and the desk not the fridge which was my main requirement. The delivery people have no clue and just casually saying “ kal mil jayega aapko” even if they have no information or notice. After cancellation they will also charge you a cancellation fee as if that was all your fault and not theirs for not having a single option to contact a person. I hate their chatbot, it just gives out links in the app itself as if the person can’t see for himself.

Water purifier

Worst service . I ordered water purifier 12 days back which was dumped at my place and wasnt installed . after begging the installation for continous 2 days someone came and installed it finally . But now a new problem arises , purifier is not working at all . I complaint it to there support visited to there nearest store in sarjapura road but no resolution has been provided to me yet . WORST EXPERIENCE - No transparency of transactions

I had hired a few items on Rentomojo. It takes about a week for the materials to arrive (fittings and installation done by their guys). The bed mattress was too bad and every morning I used to wake up with a back pain. I had taken these items on rent for 3 months, and returned them back within 1month. However, when I wanted to return the things before 3months, I rather had to pay more than getting refund. Till today I did not understand the calculation. Moreover, they do not have any customer care central number to « call » anyone. Only when they call, one gets to talk. No grievance cell or any such sort of thing!
Moreover, as I had prepaid for all household stuff taken on rent, and closed the order in less than a month, I still had to pay more than 1,000/- rupees for what I did not understand till date. As no customer care number, so anyways had to pay and now closed the account altogether.

Don’t go for RentoMojo

I wanted to rent out fitness equipment. For weeks they had everything out of stock. Finally when I got my hands on it and rented the equipment (which again got out of stock within seconds) there was a HUGE process for eKYC. I have rented rest of my furniture using Furlenco, they did not have such a complex procedure. RentoMojo asked if I were a student then to provide 6 months of bank statement, if a business professional then they ask you for your company email ID, else if you state you are a business owner or self employed then they ask you for your GSTIN. This is too much effort for renting furniture. Further when I got through the process there was no update on when the equipment will get delivered. I contacted customer service she was the least helpful service ever. The only response I received was that we will call you please close the ticket (very frustrating). Finally after a day I got a call from them saying that this cannot be delivered within 3 days and gave me a date for delivery. Today is the day that it needs to be delivered, they have sent a tracking link, I clicked on it and it does not open. Still waiting to see how the furniture quality is and when it will be delivered

Scammers!! Be Aware

Rentomojo service has been engaging in phishing activities. Conducting their operations according to their own terms. It's quite disappointing that they don't provide a customer care number, for emergencies. My disappointment began when I was making a payment for the month of July. The amount was deducted twice. Despite raising my concerns through chat no one arranged for a callback. I have documented the issue in an email along with attachments such as bank statements and payment receipts. It took them two months to acknowledge that the payment had been deducted twice and it was transferred to their bank account.
After enduring two months of frustration I had already requested relocation through their app as I was moving to a place, with three furniture items and one Air Conditioner (AC). However this company is terrible as they delivered all the furniture items but suddenly claimed that the AC was defective stating that it would not be possible to deliver it for another 7 to 10 days. How could anyone anticipate such an outcome without any written or verbal communication? For the 3 to 4 days I have persistently asked them for a solution or resolution regarding the AC issue. Unfortunately no satisfactory response has been provided yet leaving me still struggling to get my product delivered at my address.
I wouldn't advise anyone to use their service. In my opinion it's the worst company to obtain services from.

Product installation

Hi,
This is shourya and have recently rented a product with rent mojo and the installation is not being done and Team is saying there are no bolts. Is this my problem if there are some items missing. First time they said items missing and they only said we will replace, next time they are saying please return the product as items not available. How can the logistic team say to me to return the product. They said this items bolts won’t come and said that I need to return the product. In professional experience I have received. And coming to my order when the items is delivered it’s mandatory to check if all the items are there or not. Now they come up saying items missing firstly replace the product and now return the product. I need a resolution by tomorrow.
Do you guys even care about responding back ver bad experience of rent mojo. While installing only I saw many bad reviews about your service. Now I can see it.

Pethatic unprofessional employee

It is really unprofessional. Delivery guy called at 9 I said will stay all time at home. He said I will be there between 12-2 and when I called him around 3 after waiting he said someone else is taking care your delivery after that he called again at 6:30 and said sir I am coming and then again when send someone at location he called back at 6:50 and said it is beyond time and will not be possible.
After that I got a call from rentomozo that you denied delivery and it will be rescheduled now for Monday rather than putting on next day slot. When I started sharing concern with him he said update your address now after 72 hr I will schedule your delivery and disconnected the call. Now in app I see address update pending which was already there updated and that the reason it was scheduled for today’s delivery. Check the call record and see how your employee speaks.
This is how they are taking care of customer who rented things for 3 years in past and now renting again of 8000.
Now when I received the item there was no has in AC and no one is there to coordinate just sorry it was my mistake and black for 24 hour I still don’t now what to do with this AC , they gave a number and that guy is not responding to any call… hell service

The app is good, good variety of furniture and everything, the delivery aspect of it is really frustrating, I was told the items selected would be delivered between 8AM-2PM it’s 7PM and still haven’t received the items, moreover when I got a call from the agent who was to fix the water purifier he told me some address which was in Hyderabad and told me he was given that address with my number, which is still fine mistakes happen , raised a ticket they stated that a delivery agent would call but haven’t received a call. When I raised the ticket for the furniture as well stating that the stipulated time given had past they told me an agent from logistic would get in touch still no one did moreover the wait time to get an agent is really long there were 60-80 participants on queue before me. Please have a dedicated team to call and let people know when their furniture is gonna be delivered, everyone’s time is valuable. When I am trying to raise a ticket from the app it says please contact between 9-6 if you’ll aren’t working after 6 why the hell should we wait for you’ll.

Awful Experience! Refrain from using this service

I would not recommend this service based on what I have experienced. They charged us in advance and later came up with vague reason of not having the machine in stock. After chasing them for many days they delivered faulty treadmill on first instance after another round of chasing them they finally replaced the machine and delivered an expensive one, they increased our rent without any intimation and kept on overcharging us. After getting tired of their pathetic business, literally gave off in just one month, returned their machine lost our money because we had to cancel our subscription before time but rather than having to face such harassing situation we felt like loosing money was indeed the better option. These people are cheating and robbing customers and their hard earned money.

Worst service-worst app- please don’t go for it

Rentomojo when it comes of asking to pay the rental amount they are very quick. 100s of call you will get to remind you for payment and if the payment is not done within 10 days of due date, their customer care executives will ping you on whatsapp saying that they will give your case to police even for a amount of 500/- rs due. They will mentally torture you saying foul languages.
Also, the same company if you want any service from them, like i wanted relocation, these people never showed up in the mentioned date. They will give you some lame reasons of not coming. In my case, i had to myself relocate the product because people in Rentomojo are useless. When it comes to service i had to do it myself but when it came to ask payments they are quicker than anything.
If you are in need of furniture for rent please do not go for this one atleast. There are other sites where you can avail better services without torture. Do a bit of research first before availing.

Terrible products, terrible service

This organisation is a waste and unless you’re really in need and have absolutely no option only then go for it.
To get into it; I rented a washing machine and a fridge, it’s not the same as they show in the picture, which I was not informed of earlier, nor was I happy about. The delivery isn’t done at a said time; it can happen anytime during the said day/s and if you’re not home they’ll charge you extra. Inspite of this; the products weren’t even cleaned properly; they were dirty and stinking. All said and done; the fridge was faulty and whatever I kept in it got spoilt in a day. On asking for repairs, the individual kept saying he’s reached but he never turned up. The rent is calculated on a daily basis; but when I calculated it; they were charging me more in the second month. When I approached them about this issue; it took 3 days for me to get a call back. I even emailed them but no response. I was told by the customer support I’ll receive a call within 24 hours multiple times..it never came.
Overall; they just want to make money and they don’t give a Jack about the customer or the products they rent out. Do not, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Very very bad service, they took years for my ac to get installed and after that when I got fed up for like 7 days I closed the ac request then for pick up they took 5 days and yet it has not been done, everyday they will say that my phone was switched off. For five days they were consistent on their excuse that my phone was switched off but it was not. I have an alternate number too, but again they were consistent and told that the alternate number was also switched off. They are very unprofessional, timings are joke. They never arrive on time. The customer care service is very slow. Very very poor service. AC has not yet picked up. It’s been more than 1 week now. Customer care service is off no use. I would have given 0 STAR IF I HAD THE OPTION!

Terrible Customer Service

I scheduled a relocation for 5th October. The team called and confirmed that they will come. But on 2nd October when I contacted them again, I was told they are on leave from 3rd to 5th and my pickup will be done on 6th. I was not intimated about this at all and I would have been kept waiting all day on 5th if I hadn’t cross verified.
On 5th, I received a call from their team at 6:12 that they are coming. I left all my work and went back to the pickup place in a rush only to get a call at 6:59 that the truck broke down and they cannot come. I was moving on 5th and this caused me a great deal of physical and mental torture.
On 6th, I was again confirmed that the relocation will happen today by 4 PM but have gotten no calls yet. On contacting customer service they say that I will get a call 30 mins before the team comes and that my matter has been escalated. Do you expect me to wait at this place all day to be available for pickup??? And my matter is being escalated since Sunday and yet no response or support from you guys.
Will never recommend you to anyone.

So I ordered a table and a chair from Rentomojo, They took 2weeks to deliver and I got only the chair not the table. When delivery did not happen for so many days I called them to check they said table is out of stock so as a customer if a product is out of stock then I expect a call and an update from their side which they never did, it was their software glitch that the app showed the table in available products but after I ordered it went out of stock, then they started following up and asked me to take a different table for which rent is more and I did not want so they asked me to cancel the order for table and I did
Now I just have the chair so what would I only with the chair it’s useless when I said I want to return as it is no use for me they said I will have to pay one month rent extra as early return charges which is unfair coz when they asked me to cancel they did not give me anything
That chair is just lying at my house and I am simply paying the Rent

Terrible experience

If I could give rentomojo -5 stars I would.
I ordered a washing machine, fridge and a microwave from them.
Order #1- Fridge and Microwave: After 5 days of placing the order of I received a call from there representative saying that the products I ordered (which showed in stock on their app) are no longer in stock and I have to wait 4 days for it to be delivered to me I asked for a refund but they begged me to not get a refund and wait instead. I agreed to this and after 10 days not receiving the order I decided to call their customer support and they tell me it will take another 15 days for them to get in stock.
Order #2- Washing Machine: Used it for the first time today but on the first wash the water is leaking from under the machine instead of the water outlet pipe.
Order #3- Bed: The bed has a iron frame with a wooden ply board as a support that holds the matress. The ply board is extremely thin and it isn’t even attached with a screw it was just placed on the frame causing it to creak every time someone moves a little on the bed. The edges of the bed are extremely sharp and have cut me and my flatmates a few times now.
Overall the whole experience with rentomojo has been horrible. Half of the products I ordered were not delivered to me and half of them were damaged. I would suggest you buy second hand things and not rent from them and I would suggest to rento mojo to leave this business and start boot polishing instead.

Poor After-Delivery Service

It is very difficult to get through to someone in the company team to get the product repaired after one has taken it on rent. Ironically, despite their own delay, they will close their chat window if you do not send them a message within a minute of them reaching out to you. Despite my relatively fast typing speed, I cannot possibly send them my query in a minute (although I have found a way out by keeping my message ready beforehand), and so I see my chat request getting closed every time.
The only reason I am giving them two stars is because the product themselves have worked well for the most part. But the support services in an organisation like RentoMojo are equally important.

Regarding executive

I am very disappointed talking to the executive who was a female.... I never had any issues whenever I reach for any concern executives would attend me very professional way with all resolutions specially providing all information I asked. But today the first thing I don’t get through whenever I call and second thing executive was sounding so sleepy, not checking my details which is already on the portal right infront of her screen, interrupting the whole time without listening the query, and yelling back to me, even after telling her she is interrupting a lot didn’t care and continued interrupting, all these wouldn’t have happened if she focus on listening to customer’s query. Very bad experience for the first time being dealt by the customer support agent. I want Rentomojo to give importance on executive too so they handle well to customers. This rating is particularly for executive and not for overall Rentomojo service.

I received a call on 13th April seeking information about the date of relocation, since I did not have the confirmed date I asked for a callback the next day. However, it’s 16th April, 2021 and I haven’t received the callback. I dropped an email to the customer support team as well, but no response there as well.
I need to move out of my current apartment on 19th April, 2021 but since the Rentomojo team isn’t responding I don’t know what to do. I guess I’ll take the subscribed furniture along with me to the new address but the Rentomojo team would complain that they were not informed of this relocation.

Pathetic products and horrible services

I had rented a wooden double bed which after installation kept making a constant creaking noise even if my cat jumps on it, the below storage box slides open if anyone sits on it or moves on the bed, the box underneath just rolls out which led to hurting my family members few times.
I might have emailed them 3-4 times after which they sent a repair guy whose solution was to apply double tape. The issue was not solved and the same was informed to the repair guy..
I again called and emailed them a couple of times.. eventually leading to cancel my subscription and asked them to pick up the bed. To which someone from the office called he stated that I have to pay closing charges without which they cannot close the subscription.. the closing charges are charged inspite of they holding my deposit back.. the company is extremely unprofessional, not helpful and no one should even try to think of taking their services..again I m forced to leave this feedback as I still have no solution.

Worst experience ever|Highly unprofessional & unethical

I had the worst experience with Rentomojo and wondering if the good reviews written here on the page are paid reviews. Rentomojo is the most unprofessional and mismanaged platform I’ve came across so far. They don’t abide by their committed timelines, no follow up from their end. I ordered 4 things and was promised that the order will be delivered in 2-3 days after verification(as it shows on the app), after 10 days only 3/4 items were delivered and that too because of my continued follow ups with multiple teams. I’m still waiting for my 4th item to be delivered and they still haven’t given me any fixed timeline for it. The customer care is also useless and the only thing they can do is arrange a call back instead of providing solutions. A good opportunity with great potential being wasted by Rentomojo due to unprofessional approach. Sad to see this, sustainability is a question for them now.

Poor service

Thousand times I have placed a request for pick up of my cancelled order but not done so far. 1. First they want me to raise an online request for cancellation and out of available dates choose one as pick up date.i did all of this It felt reasonable. 2. Later the retentions team called to confirm on the same, I asked finally to cancel and pick up. 3. Received call gave my consent. 4. Again called to check I said how many times u need my consent. 5. Again a call to confirm I hung up bcz this is nonsense. 6. Again called me and representative started saying u were non contactable and we wanted ur confirmation. (They are referring to my call which I hung up, bcz they said we need confirmation) 7 and 8 time I called them to check on what is happening and plZ pick up my order, no solution on the call and they only have one statement ki we will inform the team , no real time solution after all this trouble. 9. I called the team on the number provided and rep said I will call u back but did not call. 10 again called me and said ki we have not got the consent for cancellation and pick up but I was not reachable. 11 in the same call he said ki team will call me to schedule the pick up date plz answer the call.. nonsense and Disgusting u all are , why at the first place you asked me to place online request and choose one date from the list of available dates for pick up. I want to ask the owner of Rentomojo what is this rubbish? Is this your process? Terrible. Do you even know what ur entire team is doing. Most importantly do you know about the fraud happening in your customer care team department- I will tell you what it is , when ever the conversation is not Gud ur customer care team never transfers me to IVR for call rating instead every time they will say ki sorry koi network problem hai mere end pe and asked me to disconnect the call, to a avoid the poor rating ..........worst experience ever terrible u all are..........

Unethical Practices

My experience is really upsetting with rentomojo. I pay ₹5000 as a monthly rent to Rentomojo. And these people are not yet satisfied. Due to this pandemic i have to move back to my hometown and i have to end my contract 3 months before the contract date. Actual contract is of 12 months where i have paid them 9 months rent already and always on time. And during these unprecedented times where banks are offering you moratorium and every business is trying to help their customers in some way. They are following unethical practices and are trying to charge me Early closure charges even during the pandemic. Really upsetting. I did a mistake but will suggest everyone instead of paying rent to them get your own furniture by paying EMI’s that will be a much better option. There are other options as well like furlenco, rentickle, fabrento, cityfurnish, maybe they are more ethical than this Rentomojo.

Pathetic service

As I write this review I’m still regretting the decision I made to rent from rentomojo.
The interest they show in getting you as a customer ends with you becoming their customer. Then the motive is to take money from you. On early closure of my tenure I was charged an exorbitantly high early closure charge. Due to declaration of lockdown the items could not be picked. Inspite of the high early closure charge I was made to pay I was forced to pay rent for two month during which the item wasn’t picked up but wasn’t being used either cause I had moved out of the apartment. I was told excess rent paid would be refunded with deposit
On relaxation of lockdown I tried to get them to pick the items as my landlady needed to rent out the place to new tenants. Firstly it’s impossible to get through to customer care and they ghosted me on mail and calls. When I got through somehow on chat they assured me I would get a call within 24 hours which I never did for almost 2 weeks.
Finally now they’ve picked up the items and again it’s radio silence from them on returning my deposit and all mails and calls I’ve placed regarding this and also refund of the excess rent I paid are being ignored
What’s most irritating is that they make you wait for hours to connect you to an agent on their chat option and once they agent joins the chat, they don’t intimate you that the agent has joined, neither does the agent start the conversation. He merely closes it if you don’t text fast enough.
To sum up. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE

False Commitment & Poor Service

Please don’t trust Rentomojo. I am having a very bad experience from last 1 month. It’s better you purchase an item or refer any other website.
I had closed subscription for the product before the due date in March end and pick up was scheduled on 18th Apr’20. Rentomojo have charged rent till 18th Apr’20 and they also charged penalty amount as I had closed the subscription before due date. I understand they were not able to pick the products till 16th May’20 due to lockdown, however, when things were opened and they started their operations, I am still waiting for their response. I have done the follow up multiple times and everytime they same that I will receive a call within 2 days. I am still waiting for their call..
Also, they are charging rent as the product are still not picked up. So, they have already changed penalty amount and still they are charging rent. When I asked them to waive that off, they responded they will forward my request. So, again I am waiting the response.
Pathetic experience with Rentomojo as you will keep waiting.

Please stay away

I am posting this review after exhausting all options. I had cancelled my subscription, never got picked up. Then given the lockdown the company has completely shut off my query resolution section in the application, no way to contact and after sending messages on chat supports and informing the customer care several times on call that pleqse pick up the furniture I have been given a cold shoulder and being continuously charged rent. Now I am not even able to rqise a request or complaint and chat feature does not work. To the company, I have vacated my apartment which I informed you several times, your furniture is with the owner, good luck recovering it from him from the apartment. Thank you for the experience. Its not even my Furniture but still I have been trying to reach you with no support at all from your end. This is in the form so that atleast you listen. And I am not liable for your furniture anymore. Good luck!
Updating the review with addition after I got a response that please mail to the said ID as we don’t have your email ID. You have my mail ID, I have shared mails several times on your aforesaid mail ID with no response. So please don’t falsify a review response with the same platitudes.

Wow so amazing, wonderful and extraordinary just like watching the sunset from the Himalayas.

So I had a representative from rentomojo come and tell me about how the subscriptions work, that I can cancel anytime without any fees and asked me to rent out furniture for a year when initially I told him I only wanted it for 6 months. Fast forward to 7 and a half months, I had to move out to another city because of a new job, I canceled my subscription and lo and behold, a 7k charge. I mean you could have at least notified your representatives to explain things properly! Also there was this one incident where they auto debited money two days in a row, it wasn’t even a late payment. The furnitures are fine but the customer service is questionable. Would I rent from them again? Hell to the nay. Ah and one last tid bit of information, when they come to take your furniture back they wait till you review (they make sure you put in a 5 star rating) and take a screen shot of it as a part of their “survey”. Yall see what they did there? LOL

Worst customer service came across

I have started refrigerator rental with rentomojo from May 2019. I paid every month’s rent on time. On 29 July I have received a message from this guys that your pickup request has been scheduled for today even I haven’t requested any pickup for the item. I called to customer service and told them this is not from my side. They said it might mistakenly happened from their end and not to worry the refrigerator will not be picked up. That day carrier guy came home and told my roommate that I have told them to pickup my product. They picked up refrigerator from my home without my permission. From that day I’m calling customer service daily. They have taken the product also and even not refunding my deposit amount. Every rep will say you that they will contact you within 24 hours, however u will not receive any correspondence regarding this. Again last day someone told me that I will receive a call within 1 hour. Again it’s 24 hours now and I haven’t received any call from them. Without any mistake from you, you will have to face all this problems and no one will help you. Best advise not to use it.

Prompt with taking payment, not prompt at all with delivery

After promising delivery today, these guys have left me to make phone calls to check on their status. “Cops not allowing goods vehicles 24/7 on this road” is no good an answer. The address has been provided, and it can not be that the traffic rules are learnt on the day of delivery. You should’ve checked that before committing delivery, and definitely before calling me multiple times in the morning today to block my time for delivery. The customer care executive who went ahead and told me to “cancel the order” was not customer-friendly at all. Is that your approach towards your customers who are reaching out to you for solutions? Shame!
I’ve been left in dark as to what is being done with my order. Calling up your customer helpline has been futile and an utter waste of (more of) my time.
Also, is this SMS of assured delivery, after the delivery for today has been canceled, a bug or another display of you not caring enough for your customers? I suggest you fix it either way!
This entire episode has been frustrating to say the least!

Pathetic experience

Two times I ordered products with Rentomojo. Its was very very horrible experience. No proper time line. Once you make the payment. They take 1 week to evaluate your profile. And after that not sure that you will get the products or not. First time I ordered 3-4 items and made the payment. After a week I was told that due to some reason I am not eligible to have all the products. I requested them to cancel my order and refund the total amount. After 8-9 days I got the amount. Again I was approached by their executive and some how he convinced me to place the order and he gave me assurance that my order would be delivered in a day. I thought to give one more chance and again I made the payment. Same thing I was following up for days and nothing happened. Again after a week I got a call from verification team and they asked me to link my credit card details. I told them that I am not going to do it and I told them to cancel my order and refund the amount.
I would really not at all give any star to Rentomojo. I would recommend Furlenco instead. They have very very quick service. I ordered the products and uploaded the required documents and the third day my order was delivered. Really fast and hassle free process.
