It’s very difficult to pay using coin, there is no option to make payment before the due date ..it should always be on the day or after that. No option to keep the fund in coin, everytime you have to add money using UPI etc. Payment using UPI is very difficult in coin it asks us to login to Kite and if we don’t remeber the creds its not easy to generate a new password. I have tried many times to generate a new password, but failed.

You need to develop the coin app further to get it to the level at which the Kite app is. So many issues have cropped up after starting to invest in MFs using your app. 1. NO XIRR Data 2. UI is sluggish 3. Data provided wrt to invested funds is Basic and rudimentary 4. 1st holder & nominee data not being pushed through / synced well with AMC houses. 5. Folio nos not visible on AMC website / accounts / databases (I have confirmed this, once I contacted them), hence no monthly statements are being provided by them. Have to rely only on cdsl statements, which you have to manually download every month. 6. STP not yet possible 7. Minor account opening is a headache / next to impossible. 8 .Minor account investing nearly impossible with the steps mentioned to be done monthly to transfer the unit to minors account after being purchased in adults/ parents account 9. Only demat format MF possible. 10. Physical Format MF not possible 11. data + functionality wrt to invested folios, is spread across three tabs wrt to MFs. Not ideal. 12. Can’t see folios invested from other sources using the same pan no. Please help improve / solve all these queries to make this a better app Or would be left with no option but to take the effort to shift the folios to other demat account / physical form

Coin is a decent app with basic features for mutual funds transactions. However they lag behind a lot as they don't listen to their customer. For almost 4 years I have seen people and have myself requested for overall portofolio XIRR availability as SIP true performance tracking is through XIRR only. But coin team doesn't care a bit. In a world where even 3rd apps for free with click of a few buttons and otp are giving wonderful insights on your portfolio, coin doesn't even offer basic things like XIRR for their paid customers. Zerodha truly did revolutionize consumer investing but now things hv fallen way behind.

I am a new user of Zerodha. I have recently opened my demat account in Zerodha And I want to start SIP in it Then I downloaded Coin application to start SIP And I tried to create a new mandate in it. Then the process was not progressing. And it was showing in it. Your mandates is fail, please try after sometime. Then I contacted Zerodha customer care and they said, we will solve your problem But the problem was not solved so I contacted again the next day and they said, there is a problem with the bank. Then I contacted the bank and I talked. He said, there is no problem with the bank. By doing this I contacted Zerodha several times and talked to her several times. They asked to do this but till now no problem has been solved. And I am very worried about this. What should I do now?

I have been using both Coin and Groww apps. Groww’s user interface for MF’s is much better than what we have in Coin. Can we have similar features as below:
1) Option to switch funds between the same fund house. This should also help is setting up STP’s from Liquid funds to Equity funds, etc.
2) Show the portfolio’s performance in the form of a graph.
3) While redeeming the units, show the Exit load ( if applicable) and also the option to keep the units in portfolio so as to avoid same and selling the balance units.

Making payments and tracking order status have become a nightmare after the recent SEBI regulation! You can’t make bulk payments for SIPs, the app doesn’t show payment timestamps (only shows the date on which order was placed), and the payment status is also not reflected in the orders tab. It shows the pay button even after completing payment. Zerodha can’t blame SEBI for this mess. They had enough time to update their workflows to comply with the regulation without compromising on UX.

Please compare your apps among ET money and Angle bee. Zerodhas Verizon of apps doesn’t help in picking up right type of fund because currently the app is in a state which looks like serving the purpose of payment gateway for mutual fund investment. That’s it.
I know what you guys are really capable of because this app needs an overhaul compared to ET money Angle bee

The interface is pretty good and clean but feels a bit overdo sometimes. Also I am unable to view all of my investments aggregated on the home page. Only a few out of all i have are visible there. To view a complete aggregated number i have to view it on the console. Please improve this.

Fantastic app. Despite being an old player, you have moved ahead with time. Feedback: You should inform somewhere that when doing a new SIP, we should put the date of first SIP on T+2 days (or later) after initial investment. If i create new SIP starting tomorrow or the day after, it won’t go through since initial investment is still “processing”. I figured this out after trial and error. Overall it’s a good app. I don’t understand why it has such low ratings.

Face id not working properly after latest ios update. It authenticates while logging in, but if I toggle away to some other apps and return back, it doesn’t authenticate. This is a security breach.
No change even after many weeks. There is no refreshing of data. For that you have to kill app and reopen..

I joined Zerodha when they mentioned the platform is free from all hidden charges and provide direct MF purchases free of any fees. But they tricked me and billed me every month with lots of hidden charges. They trapped me in a fund with lock in period and billed me every month till the locking period is over. Basically I had to give them all the returns I got from the MF.
Also their technology is pathetic. Inferior app with lots of bugs and lagging UI.
The support team is a total trash. They have no idea in what they’re doing, I had to tell them what to do in each step and they proceed accordingly. Even closing all accounts with them is troublesome. They just try to put more & more hurdles. It’s been over a month since I’m trying to close all my accounts with this pathetic platform. I’ll definitely close it soon, with whatever it takes.
I should have never trusted Zerodha/Coin. In my opinion, this is just another fraudulent company in stock/mf trading sector. No wonder why people are leaving them day by day.

Discrepancy error

I transferred mutual funds units from another broker. I added trades manually via console. But after some months, it is asking me to add trade manually once again.
2. I could not fetch profit or loss account for mutual fund. It is showing error all the time.
Very disappointed.

Discrepancy in Fund value

I’m keep getting this discrepancy in fund value error which it is asking to fix it in console manually by adding trade value with date and time.
Pl get this fix as it becomes difficult for us to maintain it manually and defeats the app purpose.

While other apps notifies us about new NFO, coin was so silent and made it even difficult to invest only through website despite having an app at store!
Zerodha needs to improvise by giving all kind of services in app and notifies us about happening in market as other discounted brokers providing. Since giving good customer super many investors like me doesn’t wanna leave zerodha but that can’t be forever.
