Multiple essential features in this app do not work life certificate submission never works. That is a must for senior citizens because of mobility issues. There are many issue with this app.
1. Need to try multiple time to login using otp.
2. When tried using paytm gateway option to pay my premium using UPI, there are no upi apps link
3. Then for 30 min transaction were blocked. Then tried with Billdesk. Using gpay app link proceed with the payment. I didn’t received the request for my payment and after 5 min trasaction got failed.
4. Once transaction failed, I can’t go back to my app without closing it without logging out.
5. If I try logging again then have to try multiple to logging again

Not a very user-friendly app. I am trying to process the payment and it’s not been processed and they lock the payment again for half an hour. Email Id issue
The registration to this app is painful as they have made email Id as mandatory field. When you have PAN number and Mobile numbers as inquiry identifying fields why do you make Email Id as mandatory field? It is unwarranted. The LIC policy holders are old and loyal customers of LIC and when they have opened the policies the email Id was not asked as such it might not be there in the data base , but phone number and PAN number are there.

Conflicting app
Stupid app that does not let me use, unless I uninstall AnyDesk (which is a harmful/ conflicting app according to LIC). I know it’s a screen sharing app so for security purpose you can just warn us instead of forcing to uninstall it. What one day competitors like HDFC or TATA considers LIC as conflicting as ask to uninstall ?!?
A good developer should give the user choice. A warning is enough to tell the customer of the conflicting app, forcing to uninstall is totally baseless.
I use AnyDesk for my business purposes. Now I am def not going uninstall that. So I uninstalled LIC Digital instead. Really sad that the consumer is bound and does not have choice even in this modern age.

Dear lic, we are facing very much difficult in paying lic premiums and getting to know the due dates, due amount and etc. This app is worst of its kind. OTP wont work. App wont open. Login cant be done on time. Everything is old waste junk. Sorry to say this. LIC is a big company you should not have app like this… everyone is upgrading. Even non-banking companies very low customers bank/finance companies have a good functioning app. With new model fully functional app new customers will come, people will be encouraged to pay online. Payments will be done quickly since everyone has a busy life. You should make everyone’s life even more easy with your app. If you need any input contact me but please make excellent app with exceptional features which are not even available in any other. Please it’s a request. Sorry if you offended with my review but it is my view for my lic.

Not fast and so much lag
I am trying to update my password, I am not receiving Otp immediately it comes after 15min and by the time it expires it us not one time I faced this issue so many days. There should be option to add any family member in the login as parents or illaws or brothers, at least we should have option to pay for others through our login so we can maintain some history of our payment to family members policies, I hope for LIC only wife and children are considered as family.

Finally a nice app by LIC. All the required functions are available at a click away. The verify email and mobile no has to be under some header called ‘’My Profile” that is currently missing. Overall a must have app for every insurance holder. Thanks to the team who built it. Hope the maintenance of the app shall be up to the mark as well.

Unfriendly user interface
I don’t know if the developers are paid less or they are not using their intelligence to design this app using the phone. I tried to enter the date and it enables numericals for me now when I try to sit back to the alphabets, so I can add the/For the date. What kind of developers cannot simply convert a given number into a date with possible logic. It happens in most of the application applications like Hdfc or any but no, it’s LICLICI, don’t know

Suboptimal App
The app requires you to log in to your account, each time you use the app. Why doesn't my account stay "logged in", on my own phone is something I am unable to understand. Resetting the password every few months is another task in itself. For the DOB that needs to be filled, to reset the password - the app provides a weird keyboard without the "/" to separate the dd/mm/yyyy! Why! Why would you do that? The OTPs to reset the password arrive late. Payment options are quite limited and not saved, prompting you to fill details....yet again. The app just fills like a glorified Web page....nothing else. The company should take some tips from the banking apps available in India, on how to design a decent app. Truly frustrating experience to the core!

The app shows security error every time i open it. When i try to reset password, this requires date to be entered in a format which does not support the alpha numeric keyboard. Then how i will enter / in the date format. Secondly the otp for password reset is set by a moron. Only 15 seconds to type and reset password lol. If you click for resend the otp, page will refresh and you have to enter new passwords again in 15 seconds before otp expires. Cycle goes on ROFL.

Extremely Disappointing – App Not Working for Over a Year!
This is by far one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. I have not been able to log in for more than a year now! Despite multiple updates, the issue still persists. No proper error message, no support, and no improvement from the developer’s side.
It’s unacceptable that a major organization like LIC cannot provide a stable and user-friendly app in today’s digital age. I’ve missed important updates and had to rely on outdated manual methods because the app simply refuses to work.
If LIC really values its policyholders, this app needs a complete overhaul. Fix the login issues immediately and provide proper support to users. Extremely frustrating experience. NOT recommended until they make serious improvements.

Unable to login
I wanted to login and pay my annual basis. I am currently traveling outside India, so it advised me to download the NRI app, which is not available on the Indian App Store. Nonetheless, if I disable location and then click on the Login button, it looks like something is loading and then nothing happens. I have tried restarting the app, re-installing the app, no change. I thought it might be because I am outside India at the moment, so I turned on a VPN, but when I do that, I get a blocking warning telling me to turn the VPN off.
Is there someone sitting at the LIC office thinking up how many more ways to stop people from using the app? This is frankly quite frustrating.

User Experience
The LIC app works well overall, but I was disappointed that I had to manually enter all my policy numbers. It would be much more convenient if the app could automatically fetch all linked policies based on my registered mobile number, email ID, or PAN. Manual entry is time-consuming and increases the chances of errors. I hope LIC considers integrating this feature for a smoother and more user-friendly experience.

LIC loan interest payment
App is user friendly but execution in terms of payments is not proper.
Unable to get loan interest payment details in app immediately even though I received a message regarding it. It was showing no interest due under any policy for 4 times. Finally, I got it at 5th time and I paid it. Similar thing is happening with loan re-payment option.

Dear LIC Digital App Support,
I am writing to report an issue I am experiencing with the LIC Digital app on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. When I attempt to log in, the app requires me to enter my date of birth in a dd/mm/yyyy format. However, there seems to be a problem with the input field, as the slash ("/") symbol, which is required to separate the day, month, and year, is not available on the keyboard in the text box.
The only symbols available are +, #, and *, which makes it impossible to enter the date of birth in the correct format. I have attached screenshots of the issue for your reference.
I am unsure whether this issue is related to the Apple keyboard or the LIC Digital app, so I am reaching out to both parties for assistance. Could you kindly investigate the matter and provide a solution? It would be great if the keyboard could be updated to allow the slash symbol ("/") in the input field for date of birth, or if there is another way to resolve this problem.

Its a Disastrous App
It’s a disastrous app as it’s impossible to even create user profile via this app. For entering DOB there is no virtual calendar and keyboard turns to numeric and do not allow to enter DOB in desired format by using “/“. Also I didn’t get why is it need Insurance Premium without tax for registration and why just policy number, dob and PAN is not enough for registration. Clearly LIC tech team need to work more seriously for making the app User Friendly till this app is nothing more than a disaster its only exist for namesake with zero usability.

LIC agents make Misleading Rating- Scammers
LIC is actually a loss making investment-
How?
Lic is like a EMI which must have to pay or u will get a fine & after that u won’t get your money in middle if any emergency if get then only 75%, it’s your own hard earned money but u won’t have ownership when LIC take it uses it, & after 12-15 years your own money LIC gives u back in installments/ a big amount with small intrest (if ur good at maths u know) & with every premium ur giving 4-5% gst which means u have already pay them earned intrest.
With current inflation they are not even giving you a rupee, so that even a 2nd savings account gives u yearly 4.5% intrest without any gst & open window for emergency is better than LIC.
So these LIC uncles in our neighbour or family members are actually fooling you for their job.
About this app, its just a worst of time everywhere only problems are there u won’t get any helpful/ useful actions or information here just those LIC agents/ uncles make this rating too high which is definitely misleading.

Most of the times app won’t respond and just loading and payment won’t proceed, need to develop app to multiple policy selection. Very worst experience with this app on 15plus.
After login coming out of application from dashboard, whenever i reopen this app after closing from background this shows white screen after splash screen for very long time and there is no any functionality to save login cred , all the time i have to do relogin. It is an important app for all LIC customers to review status and perform transactions. While the app is functional for most parts but is quite unstable. The error messages aren’t the same which leaves you puzzled. The interface is also aged which doesn’t bother much. Looking forward to those improvements to add the 2 missing stars.

App need to solve the glitches happens when u open the open it will be blank you need to uninstall and reinstall for the app to work.

Unable to pay premium online

It is a brilliant application by LIC where you can connect your family’s all policies under one userid and you can get your status nominee details claim details loan details and further more information under one app and you can pay premium from the app with premium receipt automatically generated. You cal also get information regarding various LIC plans.

Not able to log in
Recently I have been facing issue while logging in. Password/OTP what ever I am providing the app is not letting me to login through the login prompt. Every time I have to uninstall/reinstall the app to login. And only once able to do so post that again the same issue

Unable to login second time onwards
I downloaded app and able to login for the first time but from second time onwards it is not allowing me to login. There is no attention message nor any error and screen is frozen no matter how many times I click login after providing credentials. Only turn around that worked for me is download from app Store then login for the first time and reset moon and continue login. But the moment you remove the app from already active window and again try to login it doesn't allow you to login. It's the worst thing I am ever facing in any app.

App bugs
The app is full of bugs.. While login if after entering details, u have touched anywhere in the screen.. login will not continue at all.
After doing upi google pay while paying for the policy, the app screen turns white with some error notification from there u can not go back to app. U have to close the app, restart the phone and then only the app will open. Horroble experience while paying for my three policies. This app needs major upgrade for the sac of the customers and as per latest standards

Pathetic App
I am not sure how this pathetic app got 4.6. Must have been the paid review or review put by developers only from back end. Forget about the feature of the app, you will not be able to login to the app only. It will make you struggle like moving mountains.
The idiot who developed this app should be made to use this app for one full day as a punishment.

Very nice App
I have registered my all policies. It gives an excellent platform to monitor your all policies at a single place and also all services at one point. Surely, it has to be updated regularly with the rapid change in IT, but still it is a nice app from the “Every Indians’ Insurer” - LIC of India… a name synonym of Trust.

Require more options availability which will save our life
There should be some more features requored in this app from past few years nothing is upgraded in terms of feature . Please spend your high budget in development as well if you don't change with time people will change you with time. There should be policy surrender,ECS payment option added.
Your agents talk with honey while purchasing policy but then they become mr india and attitude changes with time . Nowadays people dnt have time to entertain all this so we are completely depend on this online services
come out of you comfort zones india is getting digital india so wake up and work on reality is my humble request.

Worst password verification and OTP process for forgot password
Worst password verification and OTP process . I have used so many apps but this one is worst . Looking at a security measure this stands at O level because the user is not allowed to changes the password after Otp and new password . Every time it says old password should not be used . use OTP after one minute

Unable to pay online premium
I am not able to pay my premium online. I am registered with NACH and suddenly it stopped working earlier I was able to pay through this app but since last 4 months I have tried many times and I am not able to pay online as well as NACH stopped working so money is not deduction is not happening from my bank account even if there was money in my account

Not very user friendly
The app does not provide money back details. It would be appreciable if money back policies showed the past and future money back status. We go to the branch and the staff are too busy to provide us with the details and the agents from whom we get the insurance done, maybe they moved to planet jupiter n dt is y we cannot find them anywhere. So it wud be appreciable if details of money back and also info regarding bank details updation for each policy is provided. Then it would be a user friendly app. Thanks

Disappointed with the App
Can’t login in the system as every time it’s says ‘network error’.. tried several times but no result was ther.. My mobile internet is working fine.. but the app still showing ‘Network error’.. very disappointed with the App..

Unable To Login
I have been trying to login, by using MPIN & also through Login Id and password, but am unable to do so. It’s not that the problem is with my account only. I have tried to login in three different mobile phones using different logins but wasn’t able to login from any.
There is some lag or glitch in the app. Please fix it, as early as possible, so that I can pay my premium in due course.

The best App, thanks to all the team members for your tremendous effort to bring up this great app for all the LIC customers which makes their life much much easier and comfort, and talk about the respond,believe me THE BEST, as I had a issue with my survival benefit and I raised a grievance complaint regarding the same in the App ,trust me in a day they solved my problem which is unbelievable even in corona lockdown situation,I thank all the LIC staff members for your kind n helpful supporting to your customers.

Not Good
Am not able to Change email ID, as there is a provision to change email, which will send link to my new email, when I click on the link, it takes me to the LIC portal with an option to submit OTP, when I get the OTP and clicked on submit, it says not able to reach network, please try again later, the same issue is from 4 days. Please fix this issue.

Last payment detail unable
I don’t see the detail of my last payment which is putting me in situation that I have forget the premium payment. But when I look on website I see all payment details are available there. I think the app has bug in data storing. This should be resolved to avoid confusion.

Average UI and Performance - Need To Implement
ThankYou for LIC to provide this application, but Being as a user I would tell about something for this app. The functionality of This application is good but performance is not good. And one more important thing about this application is that payment information details and history. If the user wants to know about the payment history and all kind of details and how much amount is debited by user . These kind of functions is not have in this app.
So pls add these kind of function to users asap . Thanks LIC.

Not able to login
I m an IPhone user, using the iPhone 7 when I open this App ask me my user id password and date of birth when it comes to ID and password it's fine but when I tried to enter my date of birth keyboard not allow me to add a separator which is / not available in the keyboard and its default keyboard which is set by the developer itself in the application. Try to change the keyboard but there is no option to change it request you please fix this issue so that iPhone user cannot find the such issues.

Perfect customer app
I registered all my policies digitally few yrs back, now this app brought all services into my control,I can have total control on premium payments, loan repayments, new products, grievances, premium services,locators,caliculaters what you ask all are included and well executed. They have taken precaution to lock account till payment is validated preventing double payments which is not available with all banking& credit card apps. All payments at your fingertips I say it’s very good work

It’s a crap
Please do one round of testing before submitting the app to the store.. Tried dozen of times with correct credentials but not able to logged in! 😡😡😡
And please spend some time on application design, I was really not able to touch the sign-in button at one shot, besides, when you launch the app, for few seconds I could see the ‘apache cordova’ logo was appearing before launch screen! 😡😡
If you truly relies on Hybrid application then move on to React Native (it’s a suggestion after seeing the buggy UI) and please do spend some time to improve user experience.
