Prices are very high compared to the quality of content. Many flaws in the app too . Videos are only in English which is problematic as some teachers have very different English accent. Only one or two subjects have good faculties rest are just average. If I get the chance to revoke my subscription I will surely do it, disappointed. Medicine notes are very poor, full of short forms , what am I supposed to do search every other word on google?

I'm extremely disappointed with Marrow's medical online subscription service. As a student trying to excel in my studies, I was excited to access their resources, but the exorbitant prices they charge are simply unaffordable for someone on a tight budget. It's disheartening that they don't consider the financial constraints of students who genuinely need their assistance
Moreover, to add insult to injury, Marrow recently increased their already steep prices, making it even more inaccessible for students like me. It's clear they prioritize profits over the needs of their users.
In the current digital age, education should be accessible to all, and Marrow's pricing model contradicts that belief. I regret investing my hard-earned money in a platform that seemingly disregards the financial burdens of students.
I urge other students to carefully consider the cost before subscribing to Marrow. There are alternative resources available that are more student-friendly and empathetic towards financial struggles. I hope Marrow takes this feedback seriously and reconsiders their pricing strategy to truly support the medical student community.

Not really disappointed with the lessons and the content but it’s bizarre how the most basic features are still missing from the application, like darkmode support and the fact that marrow doesn’t show up in Apple shortcuts while prepladder and other apps work flawlessly. Marrow’s biggest drawback is the download videos feature, where it lets you download ONLY 15 videos at a time, and to play these downloaded videos you NEED A BASIC INTERNET CONNECTION. How absurd is that. You either have internet or you don’t. What is the point of downloading them if you cant watch them offline? I am located in an area where there is no internet connectivity so I have ended up wasting a year’s worth of subscription. Kindly look into this fatal flaw, thank you.

Improve the configuration of the notes

The videos and notes are really very helpful. But the notes are not appropriately arranged according to the topics and sub-topics. For example, if a new sub-topic starts, many times it is written in the same font as the content of the previous sub-topic, and this makes it really difficult to comprehend the different sub-topics as distinct, while revising from the notes.
Another example is when different points are mentioned, and there’s additional information under 1 point, the notes represent it as the next point and this can lead to gross errors in understanding.
Please rectify this issue and improve the quality of the notes.

Though they have a one of the best teachers in the field but their app system is not at all good. What if one person has lost the device or due to certain reason he can’t able to open the app in the old device. They are just blocking the account if we open in other device. And to unblock it we have to give explanations and write them as we are stealing or doing any crime. They are even blocking the account of those who had not even still subscribed their plan😂😂. Spending a lots of amount to subscribe the app and indeed getting blocked and have to prove ourselves in explanations format. Worst experience.

2 things to recommend for iPad:
1. When in landscape mode , play video on left half of screen and show notes on right half. It is much more convenient than having notes on the bottom half in landscape which is pretty much useless as only few lines can be seen at a time.
2. Every time the control centre is opened for adjusting the volume , brightness or anything , the video is paused and u will have to press the play button each time after using the control centre. This is quite inconvenient. Either continue playing while the control centre is being used or resume automatically once the control centre is used .

I had been facing this annoying experience while reading the notes…always the email I’d pops up at the line I am reading and have to wait for at least 1 minutes and it’s so annoying…There is a lot of spaces between the sentences of notes…can’t you just make it pop out there instead of on the sentences…I would not have given one star if not been irritated by this for long time…
I hope u will resolve this annoying thing as soon as possible.

First of all the app has improved in terms of stability and usability but then again I need to address few issues I face.
1. Please introduce PiP mode because then it’s easier to take notes on my iPad while the video is playing, instead the split screen takes a lot of space.
2. Please make support for playing videos on big screen devices coz it strains our eyes either watching it on a mobile phone or in a split screen view mode (in my case since I take notes on an iPad)

I had purchased 3 months marrow NEET SS plan since I wanted to attempt Medical Oncology. There was Medical Oncology Videos when I subscribed. I had contacted their customer care before purchasing as I wanted to make sure about the topics. I was watching the Medical Oncology Videos for the first week and my preparations were going fine. Next week, they took down all the Videos under Medical Oncology Session. When contacted the Marrow Support Team, they assured that it will be uploaded in a “few days”. Waited for many more weeks, but still they have not uploaded it. Whenever contacted the Marrow Support, they ensure that they will be uploaded “very soon” or “shortly” or “within few days”. Now the NEET SS exam is over, still the medical oncology section is showing “coming soon”. I don't understand what is the definition of “soon” according to team Marrow.
This is cheating, as they assure you something when you buy it, provide it for 2 weeks and take it back without a false promise. I had spent about 27K to purchase the plan for 3 months and that is too expensive.
Never going consider or recommend Marrow. 👎🏻👎🏻

Please add dark mode. I’m a night owl and it hurts my eyes watching screen for longer hours especially while doing tests or qbank. Please increase downloads limit to 20 or 25. Fifteen is not enough. Add a scroll bar up top to switch between subjects without going back to main menu every time. Inside ‘sort by’ menu, add an option to make system wise pooling of video modules (integrated learning). It’ll be good if you can add feature to compete with friends. Provide Editable pdfs within app for Plan C users so you have no worry about piracy and we can get a digitalised paper free notes (win-win).

Why would you make the background of the fullscreen mode BLUE?! It looks so weird and it distracts you from the content matter! Not to mention it drains the battery much more!!! Please revert it back to BLACK background in full screen video mode! AND PLEASE BRING BACK THE PICTURE IN PICTURE MODE!! It is such a headache to make digital notes without it! Guys you know we love Marrow but what’s with the bad “update” decisions recently?! There is just one issue with the Q-Banks: one can’t solve a module again after solving it once! On opening an already solved module, there’s just the option to “Review” it which displays the answer directly on opening the question.
I don’t see any problem in adding the ability to solve a module again after solving it once; a “Reattempt” option would be great :)
Great learning app but I wish there were more options to increase speed of the video.

The content and teachers are great, the quality is also amazing but the only downside is that.. I like to watch my videos at 3x or 4x during revision and the maximum speed option available is 2x in the app. I wish there were more options available.

Hello Team Marrow!
The app functions good, but sometimes a video left midway starts from the beginning after visiting it at a later time.
Please add support for keyboard shortcuts! I use my keyboard and mouse with my tablet (it is my entire working system, no laptop) and I am sure many others do too. For now the app only responds to the play/pause button of the keyboard.
It would be really appreciated if you could add support for skipping forward (arrow keys), keyboard shortcuts for toggling full screen, and making navigation in general easier within the app.

Love the new update of marrow where pearls are segregated according to subjects. My only request is to make an option to reattempt the Qbank with reassessment where we can see if we’ve really learnt we’ll. Also can there be any option of highlighting the pearls section? Also please update with an option to decrease the display font size. The font is too big for the phone. Also an update for the qbanks / test in the neet type display (ie options arranged vertically) would be awesome. Thanks!

I bought marrow plan c in second year and paid close to 50,000 for a two year program . I had hardly used it , there was limited no. Of view hours on my account and the marrow team clearly knows that . However when my iPad became dis function and I had change the devices a few times because of using temporary iPad , they blocked my acccount .
They claimed there was “ suspicious activity “ where as I had just changed my device . Had I been sharing my account with someone the view hours would have increased but that wasn’t the case . Also at no point was my account logged into more than two devices .
The marrow FAQ states you can use it on two devices but they do not mention that you can’t change the device even when you need to
Their management is the worse I’ve ever seen , they make the user powerless and it is their word against yours. You have no where to go
It’s better you guys go for some other app like DMBCI or DAMS which respects your profession , and knows that a doctor would not engage in such activities and empowers you

I wanted to give 5stars being a marrow user for more than a year and I hold high regard for exemplary staff you have put together. Therefore,I highly recommend marrow to other medical students but the new fair use policy is what disturbs me most.
I totally understand your concerns of sharing the subscription with multiple people but for that you guys already have regulations in place to counter that. For instance, restricting total number of logged in devices with same account and also limitation of total number of hours, which is fixed to 1000hours .
However, the limitation of number of times a video can be viewed is totally unacceptable. It not only disappoints the subscribers but also limits the usage. For example, a student might have watched a video long time ago and want to watch it again but gets unexpected situation and has to stop the video there itself and resume sometime later. furthermore, if he wants to have a quick glimpse into something during exam preparation time ,moreover it can happen by mistake that you may open a video by mistake .
All this can make a subscriber and a medical enthusiast to go through a video multiple times and which can lead to non viewable at critical times which can be heartbreaking.
In conclusion, it is understandable about your fair use policy but it should not be costing the student the luxury of access to quality content you have put up.

After the new update the app is crashing repeatedly. I have tried downloading it again, refreshing it multiple times and even logging out but to no avail. This is disturbing when you are solving a qbank and if it crashes in the middle you have to start all over again. Kindly look into the matter.

It’s two month to the exams and who in the administration thought it would be smart to update the videos and notes now? Everyone has been using Edition 4 to prep for the exams and now when we’re almost near our exams you change the notes and videos. And if we try to access edition 4 we can’t use qbank. I called customer support but he was just casually saying so what switch between the two. Very unhelpful. Don’t update the app if you’re an existing user.

One key thing a student wishes on Marrow is the ability to stay focussed, as compared to live classes. If there was an option to make a calendar and add video schedule on the calendar in advance it might help us. Also, knowing what the student is studying, marrow can then push relevant pearls and questions on the home screen making the whole experience a lot more personalised. Marrow can also send notifications in the morning about today’s schedule and push the videos to home screen like Apple TV in a widget to ensure focus.

Why does the recent update not all the videos arranged in 2 rows like before in the iPad version? It was easier to view the contents. Also, when i go back to the list of videos instead of showing the current position, it goes to the top of the list. Small things, but inconvenient.
Otherwise a fabulous app!

There is lots of mistakes and bugs in last update.....
1 . The list was earlier 2 column but now only one column appears that’s annoying.
2 . The list starts from first video when we choose options back or complete video.
3 ? There’s problem with notes option..... first the pip mode is ineffective since the video window is too small .... it’s practically of no use ...... 2nd the notes take too much time to load and sometimes even fails to load..... now there is new bug ....it loads only one or two page and then the app keep saying something like error which is annoying and it doesn’t go away until I restart app. The email id keeps running around whole page .....to the hell of security.. how i can concentrate on note reading.

So the recent update has a change where the videos are placed vertically( the old way was better ) and the second thing ,when you finish a video and go back to the list of videos , it takes you back to the starting of the column, why , I mean that’s kind of annoying for lot of people!

I took marrow because I need to write my notes and it’s more comfortable, the latest update changed everything, it’s more complex to write notes now than ever, the notes option which was on the top right corner was functioning really good, now the notes option is besides video and slides and when you open it, it comes in a distorted aspect ratio which is horrible, please bring back the old top right corner notes option!!!

Thank you for considering option of simultaneous viewing of video and notes. Just want to point out that while viewing simultaneously video screen becomes too small to see it properly in iPad. As there is much more space in the iPad’s screen, the video can be bigger and please add 15 secs skip option to it also. Cheers!!

It’s high time you add this feature for ios device. I takes 1.5 to 2 hour for me to see a same video which my friends can finish in 45 mins bcoz i have to constantly pause and replay for the notes or open notes to go through it. Please add this feature so that I don’t have to face any troubles 🤦🏻♂️. I’m sure many people have the same problem. Please look into the matter. Please add this feature so that i can view notes and video at the same time

MARROW has given a new approach for learning medical subjects, with its well laid easy-to-use app interface & video lectures. The question bank interface is also one of the best of lots. Marrow is an excellent platform for visual learners & for any quick revisions especially when exams are around the corner. Well! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed.

Teachers are really good but management is very selfish and bad last year also they provided notes after delay of 4-5 months when a student is paying u 30-35 k just for one year why u people are delaying in delivery it’s all these people money making policies ..in 4th edition they are not providing soft copy of notes and hard copies they will deliver after 4-5 month wat the hell student will do taking plan c no one can retain all videos everyone needs notes ..these people actually should be sued in court but being student no one has time and money to tackle these people stop doing otherwise u people will no longer be available as prep ladder med miracle are doin better for students not making money like u marrow management

This is app is great for PG preparation. There’s a bug which i want the developers to make note of. Changing the app to dark theme doesn’t stay in dark theme always. It reverts back to light theme automatically after some time. Also the vibrate option automatically turns on even if we switch it off. Kindly look into it. Thanks!

Remove the limit of 10 downloads per device. I spend 12 hrs at library with no internet connection. I watch at about 25 to 30 videos per day to complete syllabus but your stupid download limit is making my life difficult. I have to download 10 videos and then delete them and then download the rest with WiFi available at my home and then again travel to library. I don't know what kind of engineers you have employed they certainly are over achievers. With their engineering brain they have made this app constrictive and restrictive which makes this app nauseatingly bad.
ALLOW SCREENSHOTS!!!
When traditional coaching classes allow to take photos why are we the students of Marrow are not allowed to take screenshots. Screenshots would help in many ways like marking up and highlighting the text. I hate the way your app threatens to cancel my account on taking screenshots.

Your notes in my opinion have deliberately left incomplete spaces and the same incomplete spaces are present in pdf format of notes. Allow us the option to highlight and markup and provide complete notes in editable format.
Long way to go before Marrow becomes the primary source of preparation.

One suggestion: since many of us using marrow in tablet can you add software to take notes (with stylus) aside of mcq where we can add some extra points and pictures from gallery to certain questions. Just a suggestion, if this features are possible then it’ll be more awesome.

I have been using this marrow app in my ipad pro for last 5 months. It used to run smoothly. But since last 10-15 days,it starts functioning in some improper way.
Like shutting down the running module while i was reading the explanation and then I couldn’t find that module in “PAUSED” section of the question bank. I have to solve that module again.
This has happened 6-7 times in last 10 days.
Apart from that, one day my whole progressed data has been reduced and reached at the point where i used to be at 3 months back. It couldn’t be backed after 3-4 log ins and log outs. After 2 days ,my progressed data became normal again after i wrote the email to customer care.
Kindly fix this issue and make the app run smoother like i was in past months.

Latest update in which you have added bullets on topics is not very comfortable to use. It is creating a lot of chaos when you have to forward or rewind it. The topics list is always given below the video, one can comfortably open topics from there. Adding them as bullets in the video only creates problems while watching it
Plus there is a bug in downloading videos as videos stops mid way while downloading and u cant cancel or pause it

There are no complaints about the content..
But I think, the app itself has some bugs.... When I answer a question and it shows the explanation, if there are any images in the explanation part they don't show up... there's no problem with my internet connection... This happens even on mobile data and WiFi. When I bookmark and review the question again, the pictures show up again... Please fix this ASAP.. its very annoying....

In previous versions of the marrow app at the end of each topic the total percentage we got in the test will come and every time we open the topic it will show but now it’s not coming and only the results comparison chart alone is coming which Us also good...but I request you to bring back the percentage method also back to app...other than that the app is excellent...

The last played video automatically starts playing from the beginning if we happen to load the app from memory on the iPad and it leaves you with no choice but to close and restart the app.
Please do fix this bug, but the app and your service and updates deserve 5 stars.

Sync. Between Website and App is lacking . Many of the times attempted modules/ incomplete modules of Q bank which you solve on P.C. Are not updated in the mobile app when you open it later.. Content wise I have found psychiatry very interesting which initially I hated the most and I might even end up picking that branch for PG..

I reported a minor glitch which was preventing me from creating custom modules in iOS devices. 5 days ,6-7 emails and several calls later nothing has been done.I dint even recieve a call from the tech team enquiring the issue. Lame customer service fellas who know nothing about the app calls me and made me repeat the problem 2-3 times and they just say please wait theyll correct it soon.
Pathetic to see this from a so called premium service whose primary platform itself is the App !! Never expected this from you guys. Let me down.

For now what I want to tell is in SPM we are very happy that you uploaded mukhmohit sir videos ..I find his videos awesome ..but other ones are just trying to explain what is written n are taking already prepared slides..that is not much effective. The way mukhmohit sir explains is really awesome and very conceptual .he makes us understand without any burden on brain but others are just to read the facts..i want this to be changed..we want a conceptual explanation

The videos are not fully uploaded even in 3 months of time no extra lectures were added..
Neet pg aspirants are getting more videos than the neetss medicine aspirants ...even though we need more videos more concept ,

Update: After using this app for a few days i noticed a problem. I did the Biochemistry module and found out that the reference given for all the questions is same - Harper 30th edition page 373! lol. All the biochemistry on one page! This is not good. Deducting one star for this.
Original review: I love the app.
I have one request to the app developers. Please make the videos resumable from the last viewed position.
At present its not working that way. Whenever i leave a video in between (without completing it) and later start watching it again, the video starts from the beginning and i have to fiddle with the slider back and forth to find the last position.
Also if possible please remove the intro video of marrow (with some loud music) in the start of every video. Its slightly distracting. Or just put some mild low volume music.

The material is on par with what a student requires for neet pg. Teaching is awesome. Boon for visual learners. Pathology and anatomy are better taught than learnt from a textbook. Can watch it at your own pace, speed can be increased during revision.I Used it for 3months before neet pg exam and got a really good score. Pearls are super high yield. Basically I watched the videos and rewatched them for revision, went through quite many pearls. Their tests are great too. But I couldn't do much of the tests coz of lack of time.
Marrow support always ready to help students experiencing any sort of trouble.
Really impressed with the effort put in by the marrow team to give the best they can offer.
