Misleading "Points" System & High Markups
I’m very disappointed with the Smiles app pricing. I used it for a 'Store Pickup' order thinking it would be convenient. However, the app charged me 131.5 AED for an item that costs only 98 AED at the shop.
When I contacted Smiles support, they told me the price is higher because I 'earn points.' The math is terrible: I paid 33.5 AED extra to earn points worth roughly 1 AED. This feels like a hidden tax on users. The app should match store prices for pickup orders, or at least be transparent about the massive markups. I’ll be buying directly from merchants from now on.

Not reliable for food orders
I’ve had a disappointing experience using the Smiles app. I ordered food twice through the app, and both times there were issues. The first order was significantly delayed, which was frustrating. I decided to give it another chance, but during my second order it was automatically cancelled without any clear reason or proper notification.
This kind of experience makes it difficult to rely on the service. I hope the team improves order management and communication with customers in future updates.

I'm extremely disappointed with the service provided by this app. This is the third time I've had a terrible experience with them. I ordered food which was already delayed, and to make matters worse, I received the wrong order.
They compensated me with a refund and vouchers after the first two incidents, but the service hasn't improved. The vouchers aren't useful if the issues persist.

Useless customer service
I ordered prawns biriyani from Kannur Paragon; however, I received fish biriyani instead. I reported this issue to the Smiles team, and I was informed that I would receive a cash voucher equivalent to the order value, valid for 30 days, along with a 50% discount coupon capped at AED 20, valid for 7 days from the date of issuance.
Unfortunately, I did not receive the refund equivalent to the order value. Instead, I received only AED 4. Multiple times I am reaching out to Smiles regarding this issue, and it feels like the Smiles team is not being responsible in resolving the matter.

Horrible experience with smiles, placed the order couldn’t reach anyone for 2 hours and after completing my dinner some rider was assigned who was ready to deliver I told him to cancel. Only to realise that they have completed the order the next day morning. I mean this is how they cheat customers.

Very bad customer support and cheated customer
Absolutely unacceptable and infuriating experience with Smile App. I placed a food order and one item was missing—and not just any item, but the one with the **highest discount**. This is not a coincidence, it’s a pattern that feels completely dishonest. When I reached out to customer support, I was met with pure negligence. No responsibility, no proper explanation, and no meaningful resolution. This app clearly has **no respect for its customers**, no value for our time, and absolutely no concern for our hard-earned money. Once payment is done, they simply don’t care what happens next. The service is unreliable, the system is flawed, and the support team is careless and dismissive. Using Smile App feels like being cheated and then ignored. One of the most frustrating and disappointing food delivery experiences I’ve ever had. Strongly advise everyone to stay away from this app unless you’re okay with missing items and zero support.

Extremely disappointing app Completely useless.
Smiles always takes prepaid orders even when the restaurant is closed or items are out of stock. Rider assignment happens very late, so when food finally arrives it is cold and ruined. Many times, no driver is assigned at all, and the order gets automatically cancelled — with the money gone as well.
It’s incredibly frustrating, especially when someone is very hungry. This app truly makes sure you stay hungry and become angry. A terrible experience overall.
I strongly recommend uninstalling this app until they fix these serious issues.

The worst service ever.
Ordered food and waited for long no delivery agent was assigned. Then had to connect with customer care and requested for cancellation and refund. In application the order shows delivered to me and there is no sign of refund. Tried connecting with customer service for reference number of refund request which they didn’t provide. Not recommending to anyone. Also the riders working as delivery agent doesn’t have proper visa of the company.

Repeated Transaction Failure
Every time I try to recharge using Smile Points, the transaction fails, and I get a message saying that the points will be credited back to my account within 15 minutes. This keeps happening repeatedly, and it’s extremely frustrating. I mostly use Smile Points for mobile recharges, but because of this recurring issue, I’ve can’t utilize my points and get lapsed. It creates a very poor impression of the Smile services.

It is very disappointing to experience repeated mistakes despite raising complaints earlier. I've tried contacting support — BS resolutions. All you get is the same canned responses, and maybe an offer for a coupon, as if that somehow makes up for the issue. A coupon doesn't resolve the problem, it just brushes it under the rug.

This app makes me “cry”
This is such a lousy app - I ordered groceries and was promised a delivery time of 35 minutes. However, order was delayed by 4 hours. Further, there was discrepancy in items ordered v/s received and despite highlighting this multiple times, there was no resolution. Their chat service is absolutely useless where agents lack service orientation, remain indifferent to client concerns and are incapable of handling issues. Smiles fails to realize that it is competing against likes of Talabat, Noon minutes and Careem which have excellent services that do not require follow ups. Rest in peace Smiles as i uninstall this shoddy app and get rid of inefficient service.

I had one of the worst experiences using the Smiles Food Delivery App. I placed an order around 8:00 PM, and the app showed an estimated delivery time of 50–55 minutes. But I kept waiting and waiting… and only at 11:30 PM did I receive a call from the delivery person saying he’d take another 25 minutes to arrive.
That’s over 3.5 hours of delay — and still no food. No proper updates, no apology, nothing. Because of this terrible service, I ended up going to bed hungry.
This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. A basic order like rice and egg should never take this long, especially when the app gives a much shorter ETA.
I’ve already raised a refund request and expect it to be processed by tomorrow. My trust in this app is gone, and I will think twice before ever using or recommending it again.
Smiles, please do better — or stop misleading people with false delivery promises.

Poor experience
I ordered food through Smiles and expected delivery before 8:40 PM, but it arrived late at 9:00 PM. Out of the three food parcels I ordered, one was missing. I contacted SmileSapp support, and they assured me they would arrange the missing item. However, when I followed up with the restaurant, they said they had already sent all three items and hadn’t received any reorder from SmileSapp. I also spoke to the delivery partner, who confirmed they delivered everything they received from the restaurant.
In the end, I still didn’t receive the missing item, and there was no clear accountability. Extremely disappointed with the lack of coordination and follow-up. Not a reliable experience.

I had a terrible experience with the Smiles App. I placed an order at 11:54 PM and specifically mentioned delivery by 1:30 AM. After making me wait for hours, they finally told me that their driver claimed the restaurant was closed. If that was the case, why accept the order in the first place? I was left waiting and hungry, and no real support was provided.
This level of poor service is unacceptable, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to order from this app. Avoid it if you value your time and money!

Took ages for the company to fix the interface, which is still not the most user friendly. Customer care continues to be most terrible and irresponsible. They close the tickets without providing a concrete resolution or else they want you to be online with them for hours and hours until they work on the resolution (which by the way is still not guaranteed). No one you can speak with, no customer care to own up the responsibility or cross-check if the issue has been addressed. No clear & concrete recourse of inappropriate items delivered through smiles market.

As we work into events, my team had to get lunch so I placed an order from KFC via Smiles App. I’m a frequent user of Smiles. The order was placed and the payment was done, the delivery came in a bit late but that was not the only issue, the food was having a bad taste and smell. Now my team consisting of 7-8 people had a bite as we eat together and a part of the food was eaten but the taste was bad with a smell so I complained to the customer service for which they said they would provide assistance, I asked them what to do as my order is paid and they assured me that they would help, but help never came, I asked them multiple times if I should order again as my team is hungry or would you send the fresh order again? For which they told me they needed some time to escalate this issue, but they never reverted back on this nor did I get my refund or any sort of assistance. They never came back till today. Fraud app
They just look for the money. I paid for my subscription and when cancelled the subscription they immediately revoked the subscription. Which should now the behaviour. I paid for 1 month subscription. It got cancelled with in a week.
Recommend not to use this and there chat support is worst. They are not able to anything.

Had a very bad experience today where there was delay on my delivery and apps representative called me and asked me to wait longer for the food and food never arrived i had to waste my money as well as time . And what i got as compensation is refund and a voucher, this is unacceptable as customer the value app gave for my time was a voucher that to for delay of 2 hour and 30 minutes. And i was said the order got cancelled after whole 2 and half hour

Delivery late
2nd time I am facing this problem . The app service is getting worse day by day. No proper source to contact customer car just live chat. After placing order we don’t have waste time chatting with chat support for our issues.
My last complaint also no one followed up on that.
We don’t have sit and chat with customer care and waste our time kindly improve your customer care support.

I have done Pest control through app , Unfortunatley I think it was not done properly & they are saying ony 1 month warrenty they will provide . Usually pest control compnies provide 6 month warrenty Please note that when you are booking through smiles app
also I have have ordered food through smiles app in pick up option by mistake , Within minutes I called customer care , They are saying unable to cancell , I lost my money

Delivery scam
Guys please don’t order food through smiles application as i ordered pizza hut for the limo delivery got cancelled and they don’t inform us (smiles). Until now they didn't refund the money and their customer service is not even connecting also they don't have a proper customer service also they will never connect and smiles doesn't have a emergency contact for customer service also. All i know is my 84 AED got scammed

Worst service
This service is worst. Service agent takes his own sweet time to deliver(. More than 1.5 hr). Even though the agent picked up the items , app still shows that order is at restaurant just to throw the blame on to the restaurant. Phone numbers don't work. Live chat doesn’t connect. If you order and the delivery gets delayed then there is no option other than waiting for it.

Very very poor service ( Frauds)
Please don’t use this app to order food..: I have ordered the food 2 hour back and no food and no cash return. And atleast they don’t have the courtesy to make a call…. Very very fraud people no number to contact customer care also …. Only through app and the app is also not working…. These sort of companies should be closed permanently….. they are only to looot customers…. Very very poor service

The best app in UAE
No doubt, with awesome offers and discounts Smiles is the best in UAE. I’ve been using it got the past two years daily, for my food and it has the best affordable restaurants with offers.

Scam and Unprofessional
They deducted my 8k+ smile points saying that there was a manual adjustment. When I complained they said they will revert the points within an hour which they didn’t. When I contacted again, they said it cannot be reverted.
Their customer service staffs are so unprofessional and rude. They don’t know how to speak with customers.
If you smile points, use it asap before they deduct that without your notice.

Worst customer service
Never order grocery from this app. They send you wrong item or in the worst condition possible. Really bad packaging and service. Customer service is garbage. No solutions. All they say is sorry and it will never happen again even though it’s happening again and again. Don’t lose your money.

Very quality service
I don’t even want to give 1 star also very pathetic customer service after I raised a complaint this people are calling me at midnight twice and when I didn’t respond they are sending me msg saying your complaint is resolved huh seriously are into giving service or just want to disrupt others life. 3rd time my order was delayed. Etisalat please don’t make us to switch to other telecom I think even Etisalat has same pathetic customer service. Nothing more to say but disgusting way of running a low quality customer service company.

Worst service ever! Wouldnt even recommend to my enemies
The WORST, PATHETIC service ever experienced. The app is only helpful for payi n etisalat bill and getting points. Other than that its a painful experience. Especially the “elgrocer app”. Estimated delivery time shows 60mins but order doest get delivered ever after 4hrs until unless we approach customer care. Once we receive order its either wrong products, products nearing expiry date, deduction of 1AED from Debit/Credit for every order you place which gets reversed only after few days, delay in refunds, people never showup for replacements.
If you don’t have any other work than to keep chatting with the customer care for whole day just to get your order correct you can place order on Smiles.

Worst service
Today I ordered food thrice and it was a worst service every time. Restaurant doesn’t even know about the order after 90 minutes of waiting, Support staff couldn’t reach the restaurant, app doesn’t work… 3 hours for a dinner order!!!
Even my money for the cancellation after all this chaos will still be a voucher within the app which is just valid for 30 days. Crap

Very unprofessional customer service, very rude restaurants, very pathetic SLA.
Please don’t order from this app.
Iordered for iftar from chappan bhog karama at 5 pm and till 7.30 it was not delivered. I didn’t receive a refund as well and such rigorous follow ups for 1 simple order. They don’t have drivers and they charge you, if they don’t have driver why are they charging me. They shouldn’t accept the order. The customer service rep does understand or can speak English.
Just one word for SMILES APP “PATHETIC”

Very unprofessional staff, they had an offer running and I purchased for 5000 AED to get the offer of additional points. When contacted they said the offer is over. Then why do you advertise on your smiles app? This is like a scam. If the offer is not valid then don’t advertise and don’t show that on your app.

Stupid App
This is the most annoying app I have seen so far. Payments does not happen, I could not use different credit card when already one is saved. Customer care does not know how to solve the issues. They take whole lot of time to respond. Lots of bugs in the application. Developers should try using themselves how pathetic it is.

Poor Support Team
I’m writing this review while I ordered using this app and waiting for 3 hours. I have been in touch with the support for more than one and half hours, still they couldn’t able to give proper response. I wanted to cancel the order, but they were telling the order is on the way and cannot be cancelled. After waiting for 3 hours, they have said the restaurant cancelled the order.

Bad Service!
Warning do not use the app for ordering food . I ordered on 7:20 pm my food and as per app it was suppose to be delivered to my door step on 8:10 pm it went to 3 hours without reciveing anything and customer support in the app doesn't even answer you they are assigning a bot that only has one respond . Thanks to the restaurant .. they contacted me and delivered new order from their side , and customer service call doesn't have any idea about how long my order will take to be delivered .

Pathetic Customer Service
The live chat option is useless. No one is bothers to respond even after 30 mins. I had ordered my food, in the app it shows food has been delivered but I haven’t received my food yet. Simile app already deducted my money and I don’t even know how to get my money back.
Please don’t use the service, they cheating the customer by taking the money.

Lazy supporting staff
It takes more than 3 hrs for a food to get delivered and if you contact the chat support it will never ever get connected or if connected its of no use and if you complain about late delivery to restaurant they mark as delivered and we will be stilll waiting for food and if we contact them saying without delivering the restaurant is marking it as delivered chat support dosent exist new way of cheating

App has become totally useless!
The app has become utterly useless of lasted ... each time I try to buy or redeem a Smiles voucher, it only shows as ‘loading .....’ until it gets timed out. Needs to be addressed ASAP. In past, would’ve rated app 4/5 but now giving 1 Star only because option for zero does not exist.

Regarding Smile cashback credit
Third class service on email/fb. Issue still not resolved raised. Even no response from the co. on this. I would say the worst thing I have come across in my life is the service. I would not recommend smile. Avoid using coupons saying cashback that’s just saying nothing happens.
