Disappointing and Frustrating Experience

Absolutely the worst ride-booking app I’ve ever used. Every booking turns into a waiting game, with the app endlessly showing “Finding Driver” while no driver accepts the ride. It can waste over an hour of your time without any resolution. Poor service, poor reliability, and a terrible user experience. Completely useless when you need transportation urgently.

Always ask to add extra amount or the captains will not accept your ride, this is really concerning since the fare is already high and if we wanna get a ride then we have to add extra amount to get confirmed, i really feel scammed by this and we don’t have other alternatives because all the drivers are using rapido instead of other available applications…. Please do something. For drivers this app is superb but for the travellers it is not a happy ride.

Unprofessional app

I don’t know what’s wrong with Rapido now days. When the app was very new they use to charge 90-120 rupees for short distance and now they are charging around 165 rs for auto, like seriously? And they are not even accepting the rides for the amount which is showing, they are requesting us to increase the amount around 20rs. Now i have to pay around 185-190 daily for my office.
When it came in market i was like thank god we have a cab service which is cheaper according to other apps. But now it is going worse plus bikes are charging 120 and auto on priority is 220 for 9km. Worst experience

Day by day getting poor services

Rapido has become worst services.this is because many people choose due to early booking acceptance but I want to give zero star review but unfortunately no options for it… recently i booked economy cab when the ride about to start literally after giving the OTP driver told me you booked an economy one so its non-Ac.can you imagine the hot cities Delhi how are you supposed to travel in such a hot day?i told him there where no such mentioned when i booked it but surprisingly he say its shows after OTP does this make any sense?????I am deleting the App never ever going to use again…

Lost Trust in Rapido Due to Driver Misconduct and Poor Support Response

I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Rapido today.
I booked an auto through the app, the driver accepted the ride, and I had already boarded the auto. After travelling for some distance, the driver suddenly informed me that he was going to cancel the ride because the app was showing a longer duration than expected. He then asked me to get down in the middle of the road and cancelled the trip, leaving me stranded.
This is not merely an inconvenience—it is a serious passenger safety issue. A customer who has already boarded a vehicle should never be forced to get down midway because a driver changes their mind about the trip.
What made the experience worse was the response from customer support. Instead of investigating the driver’s actions and understanding the situation, I was repeatedly told that I had cancelled the ride. The support team seemed more interested in arguing than resolving a genuine safety concern. At no point did I feel that my complaint was being taken seriously.
If Rapido cannot ensure that drivers complete rides they have already accepted, and if customer support refuses to properly investigate safety-related complaints, then it raises serious concerns about the reliability and safety of the platform.
I urge Rapido to review this incident, verify the driver’s cancellation records, and improve both driver accountability and customer support processes. Passenger safety should never be treated as a minor issue.
Based on this experience, I have lost confidence in the platform and would hesitate to recommend Rapido to others until these issues are addressed.

BROKEN APP

It appalls me how you can take a perfectly working app and through one update absolutely destroy all functionality. I am unable to open the app, request a ride or do anything except be stuck at the Rapido splash screen, followed by the app crashing. All the while, your useless app drains my battery and heats up my phone. I hope the developer who allowed this update to be pushed is fired and you lose every single one of your customers since you do not care about the end user experience. Great service, but needs a "Priority Request" feature for critical times

I have been a regular user of Rapido and genuinely appreciate the convenience the platform offers. However, there is a recurring issue regarding ride cancellations that makes the app feel unreliable during critical moments.
Too often, ride requests are ignored or canceled by drivers multiple times, leaving users stranded. I witnessed this firsthand recently when my sister was waiting at 1:00 PM in the heat with her child. Not a single driver would accept her ride, despite her urgent need. Even though she is a loyal customer who values your service, she now hesitates to use the app because of the consistent rejections.
When users are in a difficult spot, they are often more than willing to pay a premium to ensure they get a ride. Currently, there is no mechanism to signal that urgency or incentivize a driver to accept the booking.
I strongly suggest that Rapido implements a "Priority Request" feature. If a user is willing to pay an additional 20% surcharge, the system should prioritize that request or provide a way to ensure it is accepted. It is frustrating to have the funds and the desire to use the service, only to be left without options when it matters most.
Please consider adding a feature that prevents drivers from ignoring requests during these crucial times, or at least provides a pathway for those willing to pay a bit more for guaranteed service. It would make a world of difference for users who rely on you for safety and reliability.

Significant Deterioration In Service And Costs

For the last 2 weeks, I have been travelling by Rapido cabs. I always book Cab Economy by default. But nowadays, the cab drivers haven’t been switching on the ACs in Cab Economy like they used to before. And when I insisted, they started charging me extra, saying that the ACs use extra fuel, which they never used to mention before. They also said that if you want AC, book Cab Premium instead, which cost a lot more and also takes longer time to arrive. And there was this one ride where the driver told me that he will charge extra as it is a private cab, but I didn’t see any white number plate instead of yellow. And to top it all off, he charged me extra too as it was a bigger car, which is not my fault as I booked Cab Economy as always and it gave me a car this big.
This is why I’m done with Rapido cabs and making the switch back to Uber and Indrive. I had initially installed the app as it picked up rides faster, but this has deteriorated too.

Customer Care and Driver Behaviour

I was travelling with my grandparents and asked driver to drop us off one four cross ahead and driver charged 40 rupees extra for it and that location was not more than 50 m away from destination decoded during ride and I asked driver to drop us off ahead bcz my grandparents are not able to walk as they have suffered from stroke last month only So I connected to customer care regarding the problem and I mentioned the above problem to their agent and by giving me 40 rupees wallet credit and they did not listened to my another concern which was regarding misbehaviour of driver as my mother was waiting for me and my grandparents at the location she took photo of number plate of the rickshaw and the driver started misbehaving by abusing and saying that wait now I will also make video of yours and all of that , I once again raised my concern as it was not resolved earlier I got call from their side and they started saying that it was your fault to not to raise concern in one time even though they ended the chat from their side and they are not ready to believe that they are wrong

Their Rapido wallet is a scam

I had booked a ride last week, the price was showing 240 rupees as autos were not accepting the ride I added extra 30 rupees, but after the ride ended the price came to 370 rupees. When I raised this concern in their chat as usual it was a chat bot and it said that was only estimated what you got, but the price will vary once the ride completes. I left it as it is, after some time I got a call from Rapido support and said we saw your concern and we have credited you 80 rupees in your Rapido wallet. Same had happened to me before and I was not able to use the Rapido wallet’s money. So asked the person to tell me how can I use that Rapido wallet during ride. For that she said it is not able to redeem your wallet in Bengaluru. But if you want I can put that money back to source but I need you Aadhar or PAN Card details. I have gotten cash back from other apps as well but they never asked me for my Aadhar or PAN details. And finally I asked her in which city can I redeem that Rapido wallet money, she didn’t answer. After this I saw many people in Reddit complaining about this same issue from Chennai, Delhi and other cities. If we are not able to redeem in metropolitan cities then where can we redeem. If you are able to book then you should be able to redeem the wallet as well right. I have stopped using this untrustworthy app

Worst customer service

I have booked a rapido bike for my friend in the night around 9:55 and the captain or so called driver asked for extra cash and her phone is charged much so she can’t make a call to me and then the driver made excuses about my phone didn’t working and lagging your cost would be around 81 rupee and the actual cost was 31 and he takes the cash from her and when i call him so he start making excuses like she had misheard the price and then I say that if she had misheared you could have given the right amount back and then he start talking like I am a poor guy and all and when I told him to give 50 back on upi he started shouting and saying do whatever complaint you want to make on me go wherever u want and then I really want raise a complaint on rapido and the rapido’s customer service is worst then I expected suppose if something would have happened to my friend in the late night and she wanted to get a help what would rapido be doing as a helping hand to her nothing the rapido's 24*7 no is also switched off like really why even u calling it a 24*7 no should have named it over disgusting like hell dude i am glad that. othing have happened to her. The rapido company easily could have said please wait till we connect you to our assistance
By this feedback please ensure that whoever is connected to u through your driver app is a reasonable person and I have used rapido a lot for my day to day life and this experience is the worst and deleting my app now and not gonna further use it for any means and will also suggest everyone to not use this app (if any action should be taken upon this incident than I will reconsider my decision again or else will not)

The most unsafe travel app for women

I have been using this app for months and I have to say the kind of harassment I have faced in my life is through this app only. Just today I booked a ride home and I asked the driver to take another route for a stop i had to make immediately, the driver not only refused he said “No” and went straightway. I was in a highway and along with me there was another woman. We said if he doesn’t take the turn we refuse to pay, to which he rashly took a U turn and headed back to where I was coming from. He said “Mai fir aapko vahi chodta hu jaha se aap aye ho.” As a woman I was extremely scared and we were having shrills. Somehow my friend could calm him down so he stopped midway and left us alone in the highway. We registered complaint immediately and the Rapido Customer care is so stupid, he asked why did we even ask for a turn in the first place. There has been instances where auto wallas have cursed me, waited long time outside my society and did much worse and despite me complaining there has been no action taken. The complaint team I guess takes “the Captains” way more seriously than the safety of women. It’s the worst and the most unsafe platform to ever book a ride.

Worst Customer Support Service

I have been asked to cancel the ride a lot many times and it was one such incident was when I had to travel from the airport during late hours especially when the Rapido drivers don’t agree for an online ride because they will have to pay commission to the app and because it was getting late and I had no other option I went for it and later upon asking for a digital or a physical bill because I was on a business trip and had to claim it. Both the times the drivers charged extra and said they would share a digital bill on my number. I have never received the bill from either of them and post following up with them both the times - there is no response and neither did I receive any help via the support chat despite reporting it many time and neither proper support was provide to resolve the issue. Very disappointed being a loyal and regular customer of this app and a lot of such fraudulent activities have been on the rise . I want you to look into this case and I also have the number of one of the drivers and the details of their operating station.

Rapido service is worst no professional people and never respond to customer care.

I had an extremely disturbing and unacceptable experience with a RapidO driver named Shabeer Shaikh, driving an Ertiga with car number MH03ES1199. From the moment the ride began, his behavior was aggressive, rude, and completely unprofessional. He spoke disrespectfully about my family, used foul language, and showed no regard for basic decency. Despite having a clear route, he intentionally took a wrong path, prolonging the journey and causing unnecessary stress. He then falsely claimed the CNG was finished, even though the dashboard showed two green bars, and abandoned me and my family in the middle of the road, putting our safety at serious risk.
To make matters worse, he demanded extra money, far beyond the actual fare, and verbally assaulted us when we questioned him. His tone was threatening, and his actions were deeply humiliating. As a woman traveling with family, I felt unsafe and disrespected throughout the ride. His conduct was not only unethical but completely characterless, and he should not be allowed to operate in public service. This experience has left me shaken, and I strongly urge RapidO to take strict action against such drivers to ensure passenger safety and dignity.

Worst App Experience Ever — Scam-Level Pricing and Zero Rider Sense

I’ve been using this app for months, and I’m finally done. It’s honestly one of the worst ride apps I’ve ever used. They charge triple the normal fare for the same distance, and what’s worse — the prices literally change every time you open or reopen the app. Close it and come back a minute later? Suddenly, the same trip that was ₹200 becomes ₹180 or even ₹160. Total scam.
On top of that, they penalize you ₹1.5 per minute if you’re late, but when their riders are late (which happens daily), there’s no accountability. Most riders don’t even know how to ride properly — despite having a map, they take the longest routes possible, waste time at signals, or just wander around the same location for 5–10 minutes. Today’s ride was the last straw — my rider literally stayed behind cars on an empty road instead of taking the clear left lane meant for bikes. Two signals later, we finally moved.
Why am I paying extra for poor service, delays, and riders who don’t even follow basic common sense? I easily spend ₹1800–₹2400 a month on this app — and for what? Unreliable rides, inconsistent prices, and zero improvement.
I’m deleting this app for good. You’re better off taking a train or any other option — at least they don’t scam you while pretending to offer “affordable rides.” Rapido needs to seriously fix its pricing and rider quality before it loses every loyal customer left.

Very Unprofessional

The rapido parcel delivery is so unprofessional, they keep on canceling the booking and then charge you a fee untill you report it. I had booked a parcel around 12 am thinking the parcel will reach anyhow by 1 am or 1:30 am max as the distance was only a 15 minutes bike ride , the first guy cancelled and when i booked again the other guy was assigned and then out of nowhere even that guy was switched with another, the guy didn’t know how to use the app( the otp system and all) and he collected the parcel around 3am and then went on to complete other bookings( my brother had to accompany him because we weren’t sure if it is trustworthy to just let the delivery guy deliver the parcel this late) and then the parcel was delivered at 3:45am . This issue shouldn’t have arrived at the first place if that person knew how to do their job well, it caused so much chaos from all the ends because i was not at home and the parcel had to be picked up from my home. My family members had to stay awake till 4 am just for a deliver booked from rapido. I wouldn’t recommend anyone trusting rapido parcels after this. Had to sleep at 4 am just because of their fault, not worth using rapido at all

Lack of responsibility

Today while I was travelling the driver got into a heated argument with two individuals on a motorbike. The situation quickly escalated, with both sides exchanging verbal threats. The confrontation turned physical, and at one point that driver started hitting the rickshaw with anger. As a passenger, I felt extremely unsafe and distressed by the entire incident. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the safety and conduct of drivers representing Rapido. When I tried to reach out to rapido support there was no response. Extremely disappointed with Rapido’s customer service. Their agents take forever to respond, and when they finally do, they seem more interested in closing the chat than actually resolving the issue. They don’t ask for any details about the incident and often close the conversation without offering any help or explanation. It feels like they just want to brush off complaints rather than address them. This lack of accountability is unacceptable for a service that deals with real-time transport and customer safety.

Very unprofessional drivers

The driver asked for extra cash in my last ride and he even asked me to cancel the ride and go with him without the app which is unsafe and unreasonable. After completing the ride he demanded I give him cash even though I was paying through wallet then he started yelling at me that he needs cash how else will he fill up his petrol tank. I said I am low in cash and I still gave him cash and he did not return the balance and ran away promising me he will come back and pay me the balance. Is this the kind of driver Rapido hires?I got this driver twice both times he created a ruckus. Now I am at a loss of 100₹ as my wallet was deducted for 70₹ already which was my fare and I had given 100₹ to the driver in cash when he promised me my money won’t be deducted from my wallet. I go to the app this thinking I will raise a complaint and the app has a glitch it’s not showing me the option to choose my problem in the help section. I deleted this app today. Getting worst day by day

Scam app and worst customer support

I have used all kinds of cab services and Rapido is the worst ever you can experience.
If driver choose to go different route, customer will have to pay extra, which is automatically generated via app. Even though you add 40-60 rupees tips, it doesn’t matter, your fare will always increase +60 rupees extra.
Now the worst worst part is the customer support. Unlike other cab services app, Rapido support tram is extremely uneducated, they don’t communicate, they just send some scripts and leave the chat. I have experienced this pain and stress N number of times.
Yesterday I booked cab for 294 rupees. He took me different route knowingly and I had to pay 346 since app increased my fare automatically. But driver didn’t stop from there. He demanded me 60 rupees more extra cash, saying I have to pay more different route. I didnt even ask him to go in different route! And then he is like you can talk to customer support. He knew very well that customer support can not do anything or help me. But still I tried talking to customer support, and I told what happened. As expected, he took 5-10 mins to reply and he didnt even read my messages. He is just sending me sorry for inconvenience, scripted messages and he left the chat. What a pathetic services.
Learn something from uber and ola. If you guys continue to do like this, your business will not last longer. Keep some educated support team at least.

Unprofessional behaviour of driver and No customer support. Pathetic Service

I must say that Rapido poured tons of cash into ads. But missed big time to pump some into safety or at least your customer care?
I booked a ride last night and you driver reached the pick up location in 15mins. He started the trip by entering OTP but then denied to move towards the destination. I was requesting him to start the vehicle, which he abruptly refused to do and starting arguing rather using obscene. I was with my family (Wife, my dad and 2 little kids). Your captain (Abhishek Kumar) was very rude and abusive too.
Radio has a WOW service called Safety, unfortunately it never works. I tried contacting the safety number at least 10 times via your app, but calls were being disconnected with IVR prompt mentioning either the support agents are busy or my number isn’t registered with Rapido. Seriously! Is this a glitch or an intentional error to avoid user’s calls at night?
I kept on trying your number and as failed to connect with the agents. Finally, I booked a cab from UBER after a wait of 40mins. Astonishingly, the cab came in 5mins and dropped us to the destination without any refusal or argument.
Ironically, I have been charged for the trip which was denied by your captain. What kind of pathetic service is this? I hope Rapido must have developed the tool to check the location of their cabs.

Terrible experience

I booked a cab, where this driver was shouting on the phone loudly (god knows who he was speaking with), the cab was unclean, unhygenic and dirty - dirtier than a sewer. And it smelled horrible - sweat and what not. During the entire 9 mins of the ride, this guy still kept screaming on the phone. I was already feeling unsafe, but I was late for a doctor’s appointment. After a few mins he said that we have reached the location. I told him this isnt the place, I visit the clinic often and he has brought me to the wrong location. I asked this guy to follow google map - Rapido app was showing incorrect location. He refused to check google map and started to scream at me. I also asked him to let me find the location on map, and god knows what route he had taken - it was not my usual route either. I asked him to go on main road and take left, which would have at least given us a sense of direction. He started shouting, screaming and asked to me exit the cab at that unknown location. He was cussing the entire time. He himself refused any payment, and also tried to scare me by trying to show he can hit me with the car after I got off. I opened google maps and figured I was about half a kilometer away from my destination, and I had to walk till there.
This driver not only was unprofessional in this tone, but he was wearing shorts. This attire especially when you are representing a brand puts a really bad light.
Horrible experience, I am never going to use Rapido again ever. I felt so unsafe at that moment, I was scared for my life. Even if Uber is a little pricy, at least the quality of drivers, cabs and the custom support is so much better than Rapido. Rapido really needs to see the kind of drivers you guys are onboarding. Really bad and scary experience.

Some Drivers are very Unprofessional

I always use to prefer Rapido over other apps, today’s unprofessional behaviour of Drivers left me Disappointed. I booked the auto from some distance to confirm any driver is available near or not as we had heavy baggage. The assigned driver reached at pickup and was on call with me as we were moving to the pickup and it was crowded roads with lots of other private autos. He saw me and cancelled the call. As I found him he asked me to cancel the ride because he took some other passenger not booked through the app. Still our ride was showing in the app and he denied to come. Drivers should take other passengers when they don’t have ride or else if they got someone atleast they should inform.
I cancelled the ride and booked other auto. He took us from other road which was long cut and charged extra money. I have faced this with ola and uber and that’s the reason I switched to Rapido. How all of a sudden they can increase the price. Very disappointed with today’s ride.
If the service will be dissatisfying the customer will definitely move to other platforms. I request the owner to kindly take some step on this. If here also drivers are behaving as per their wish then what will be the point of booking through these platform over private autos.

Did not received parcel on drop up location

Firstly the rider asked extra amount than the amount written on the app I gave him extra money but still the rider did not drop up my parcel on the location on time I waited 4 hours on customer chat support to give me some information why my parcel did not received on the location bcoz they do provide any information abt the rider on the app that we can contact him by ourselves then after 4 hours there customer support called and lied that the rider has dropped my parcel then I have to argue with them to take the riders personal number but then the rider also lying that he has given the parcel on the location then after so long argument he agreed to give the parcel but he said u (me) have to come to pic that at 11 pm at night I have to travelled so far to receive my parcel from the rider which I have given him at 6pm in to evening…..!worst riders ,worst payment methods,worst customer support ever…!

Asking for higher fare AFTER accepting rides

This app is doing some great work by enabling fair pay for the captains. In Chennai, however the Captains are accepting the ride and then calling to ask for more money. This is not ethical, because the captains see the fare and they always have the right to choose not to accept the ride if the fare is too low for them, so that some other captain can accept the ride. The bid set by the user already accounts for traffic, number of vehicles available, etc. This leads to poor experience for the user and wastes time for booking & re-booking. It would be great if the app finds a way to penalise drivers who ask for more money AFTER accepting a ride.
What I really love about the app is that they they call and check for passenger safety when we take a late night ride. If they fix a few of the issues by training and onboarding their drivers, they will certainly beat Ola & Uber.

My worst experience

This is tanvi i have been using rapido since a very long time like for straight 2 3 years and this time a auto driver was very frustrated form the very starting when he had to wait just for 1 minute and after reaching the drop off location he told us to leave the auto and pay him we just told him that until we pay let us sit in cause it was very sunny outside but he got very rude and starting abusing us like in a very wrong manner and this was totally not acceptable as i was travelling with my mother even after complaining in rapido safety centre this people didn’t even respond for 3 4 hours and after that also they didn’t take any strict action against him but that crazy caption should be removed as its unsafe for every other person travelling with him and after this incident when rapido didn’t take any action I decided to write a review and delete my account and took a pledge of never using this application again.I would be glad to know if any strict action would be take against that captain his name was manish yadav I requested rapido to take strict action against him i would be glad.

Auto driver name: bajaranna kurva (a dog) I booked an auto in the month of November from medipally to uppal x road (clinic)which cost 150rs. One of my family member faced some health issue and need emergency treatment so we booked an auto. When we are on the way to uppal x road suddenly doctor called us and informed us to come habsiguda hospital (super speciality) as they need to do few tests. So we informed same thing to autodriver and explained everything, and asked him to drop us at habsiguda. Suddenly auto driver stopped his auto in middle of the road and said that stepout from auto and pay amount and book another auto as you want to go different destination. He known that we need emergency treatment even though he behaved like a animal and asking about money. He arguing that from medipally to uppal x road it will be 150rs, if we book from medipally to habsiguda it will be around 300rs so i will loose 150rs. As we need urgency we said that we can give that extra 150rs total 300rs. Then he started his auto and dropped us at habsiguda hospital. We not cancelled that ride but we changed the destination so from medipally to habsiguda it will be just 177rs. After dropping at habsiguda i informed same thing to driver that it will be only 177rs so i can give 200rs. But he yelling at us and shouting on road and saying that you people said that will give 300rs and that is the reason i started my auto if not i will not come to habsiguda, he just saying give me 300rs. As we need urgent treatment so we not urged with auto driver and paid his 300rs. Worst customer support

This third class Rapido app has worst customer support ever. It will automatically charge extra fee from you in between the ride (they lie that you get lowest price, they show low price but then will charge you in between the ride). When I complained about the same in customer support, just waived off the fee into the wallet, but didn’t tell that it can be used in bike or parcel service only, which btw I don’t use (then what’s the point?). Then I again raised the complaint asking to refund my money in the original source, to which one agent asked me my adhar card or pan card photo, which was weird but I trusted this app so I gave my adhar card photo. After receiving the adhar card photo, he just said “I have raised the ticket” and vanished from the chat and closed it without solving it. When I tried to reopen the chat nobody is answering. And the irony is when I tried to look into the ticket been raised then- surprise surprise, there is no ticket that has been raised. These people are just seeing adhar card and discriminating whether whom to help and whom to not. Such a disgusting and fraudulent app this is. You will like this app for sometime but mark my words they are going to fraud you if you use it for longer time. Use Uber or Ola for the better customer support. Useless and fraud app this is, I would never recommend this app ever.

Rapido captain Scam

Rapido captain is always scamming a lot of people and I never believed as I was using the apps from 2017 but today I have face an issue regarding the captain scam. I was travelling from Delhi railwaystation to majnukatilla base fare it shows like 206 and I increase it to 220 and got the cap fast but after sometime driver reach to us and every thing was normal as usual but after reaching the destination I didn’t receive the bill and I don’t know how much it cost as I was waiting he show me Sir your amount was 459 I said please wait I have not received the bill and he said it might be your network problem. Iam using iPhone 13 with jio 5 g sim. I have full network coverage but he said he is in hurry please pay in cash only but I refuse and said we will pay by gpay he try to threaten us and said you have to give it by cash only. And we paid and he left after 5 minutes I got the bill and it showing Rs 220. So I try to complain to agent but neither agent nor captain pick my call. My trust for Rapido is totally Gone. 7 years as Rapido customer it feel like betrayed. Iam not asking for the amount to be refund but at least punish him not to do scam. 💔

My cab driver stole my stuff and all Rapido could respond is sorry he is not responding to calls

I have been regular with travelling through the app. On June 12th I travelled through the app from Andheri RTO to Bandra West. I got the same cab in which I had travelled before too. I asked the cab driver to stop at a chemist near my pick up location and left my belongings in the car and went to the chemist. I come back and see the driver fiddling with the front compartment and acting strangely. When I asked him to open the ac vent so that the car can be cooled off he responded do you want to smoke? I reach work and check my bag and realise that the reason he was acting fishy was because he had stolen my iPhone charger with a cover on it and my Boult airdrops. I raised multiple Servive request on the App and the only response Rapido has it that they driver is not responding and they are not responsible for the customer’s belongings. So in short if anything happens to me next time while I am travelling through the car hooked by the app no resolution can be reached as the app is only designed to rob the customer and not even background check there drivers. Great service if you ask me! Never felt more unsafe while travelling through an app.

Hello there, there is a complaint regarding Rapido drivers. I started using Rapido at the end of the week of April 24. I used 3 bike services on the same day at my view of the bike service is excellent. My concern was raised when I booked a cab for my hospitalised father from my current location to drop location the distance might be up to 5 to 6 km. When I called the driver I told him that Bhaiya you to take the entry from this gate and we were standing near the emergency area. On the second call, he shouted at me like hell that mam where are you mene bola tha na aap bhr aa jao ab main apko khn dekhu!!! And continuously when I checked up on his cab whether he reached there or not he called apko smjh nhi ata mene bola m yahan khda hu aa jao bhr I said my father’s health was not stable at all but still he said bhr aa jao. Continuously he is shifting my booking to another person. At last, after being fed up I booked a cab from another known app and he patiently came to the emergency ward seriously I haven’t said a single thing to that app that you have to come here and there.
For cab-related purposes, Rapido your driver has 0 way of talking and manners.

WORST EXPERIENCE AND COSTED ME A LOT OF MONEY

When I tried to download my invoices to claim my travel expenses for work, rapido said the trips do not exist. How can they say the ride doesn’t exist when it shows the status as completed in green? Absolutely ridiculous! In the month of feb’24, I took a total of 19 trips with them, but when I downloaded the invoices for the entire month, there were only 3 invoices in my inbox. The app’s UI is made in a way to make it absolutely difficult to raise a ticket if you’re not able to get your invoice. So I had to chat with an agent through the chat option for billing related issue instead. This woman closed the chat before I could even finish informing her my concerns. I tried again and the same woman popped up as the agent. Once again, I requested to send my invoice to my registered mail and she said it’ll take 1-2 business days. I needed the invoices the same day or else I could loose all my money I needed go get reimbursed by my company. I was trying to say that it was urgent but she abruptly ended the chat again. To get another agent, I went to the chat option for another issue and the exact same thing happened with that agent as well.
WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS FOR A MISTAKE FROM YOUR PART? HOW HARD IS IT TO SEND THESE INVOICES? NOW I’M GOING TO LOOSE ABOUT ₹8,000 BECAUSE I CANT SEND OUT THE INVOICES FOR MY REIMBURSEMENT

Please do not use app if you value safety and your self-respect

Worst taxi/auto/bike booking app in the market. I once booked an auto from my office to home. The auto driver stood almost a kilometer away from the pickup point. Being in a bit of a rush and having already waited very long for an auto, I walked all the way there. Once I sat in the auto, the driver refused to drop me to the location. Just when I was about to put a complaint on the app, the driver cancelled the ride himself. I was not able to even see the aborted ride in Ride history. Pathetic app that doesn’t put any thought into its features while releasing them. The map is the worst. The estimated time does not make any sense. The drivers they hire are a danger to society. One of my friends got a driver that did not know the way. She ended up being harassed, heckled and dropped off at a location many kilometers away from her home. Another one of my friends told about a rapido driver who took a whiff of Ganja in front of the passengers before driving the auto, before proceeding to talk rudely and drive rash. Please do not use this app, even if the fares are cheap and ride gets booked faster. There is no sense of safety or security in Rapido services.

Bad service!

It was good at the beginning. Lately, this seems to be a worst app, worst auto/bike captain behaviours, it is best not to talk about it’s customer service because they never care customers, ideally we shouldn’t call it as a customer care/support. These days, the auto/bike captains ask only for cash, they don’t come to the location point(considering the road path is clear), if we agree to pay in cash they demand extra cash or they don’t provide the change/remaining amount back to us. I understand the change/remaining amount is a nominal figure but it matters when it us a repeated case and when we ask customer care about it they simply say our app show only the amount we showed you to charge for the ride and they didn’t see us paying extra here and as we paid the hot cash it’s a thing between me and captain, believe me or not customer care gave us the captain’s phone number to us so we call him and settle the money/issue and closed the chat. Also, 1 more point observed is the chat service they wonton be online fast, you will find no response until 10-15mins (considering am on my wifi, no data issue here) not sure they have sufficient staff or not or they handle multiple tasks or they are lazy to respond or they are getting paid low/are being treated with no recognition to their services so they don’t find interest to respond to customer’s query. Such an astonishing service from rapido. If they continue providing such services, they will go down sooner or later. Better stop bagging the money and focus on better services.

Horrific drivers and No real support

Took a cab from Delhi to Ghaziabad on Monday morning 18th dec 23. Middle of the trip driver informed us of extra charges on interstate toll. However the app categorically displayed pop up saying no extra charges for toll to be payed. We showed this to driver on which he said you speak to customer care. We tried to reach out to any help avenues but none was available during journey. The app itself is “Jugaad” to say the least, the device used is an S23 and still we had lag. SOS button did not work during the trip. Driver got aggressive at our doorstep even when we were dealing with him politely. And started threatening us to the extent that we had to call our society’s security team. Eventually when we connected with rapido emergency response team and they confirmed no extras to be paid as its all in the trip. Only then the driver left, but not without misbehaving with rapido team as well. ******Key take aways. 1. The app is substandard and poorly designed. 2. Support is painfully slow and you cannot depend on Rapido in an SOS situation. Better have other arrangements while traveling with them. 3. Any and all drivers are being onboarded with no background checks. 4. Rapido is not transparent with Customers and Drivers both by not giving them any breakup of ride charges resulting in such incidents. Never taking a ride with them again.

Worst experience

I have booked a cab from rapido the the charge that was shown in the starting was 271 but after reaching the driver started asking me 315 and he started saying it what app is showing to him so I have paid him and u have raised a request for the extra money that u have paid I have asked the customer support to return my money to my bank account but they sent it to my rapido wallet which is useless to me and after discussing with them they started telling that don’t have the policy to return money to my account.i don’t understand if you want to get a customer to use your service you are supposed to give the best experience to the client and get him back to use your app not by holding his money in your rapido wallet which is useless to most of the customers.
One more interesting thing if you are travelling in again in rapido if you want to use the money that they are holding in their wallet if the charge is 60rps and they are holding your 20rps you cannot use that 20rps without adding minimum 50rps in to the wallet again extra 10rps need to pay to use my money such a worst concept.
Note : most of the cab and auto drivers will cancel the ride immediately after knowing that you want to pay through the wallet and also better you can keep some fine on the drives that who cancels the ride after reaching the location as how you people will charge through customers.

Such an disappointment with the Rapido application

I have booked rapido and that was my first ride with rapido. I had to face such a disappointment with the rapido. The caption has asked me in the middle of no where to get down and book another ride, I have said I’m not getting down but still he refused me to drop at my location asked me to get down as he had some emergency and he need to go there and charged the amount and how cunningly that caption has not canceled my ride till the time and at last caption had mentioned in the rapido app that he has left me in the location and has charged less amount.
Such a huge disappointment I had to see worst day. Here Rapido are promising to give low charges but there captions have sharp brains that they are leaving people in the middle and charging full amount and then they describe in the application that they have charged low amount than what they have showed while booking

Deleting the app never gonna use again very unprofessional

I’m a student living in Shillong and because of the traffic problems here Rapido use to be my go to app. But today i got the worst experience in this app so far. Today I booked 3 rides and every single captian asked me to cancel the ride. I booked the rapido because I’m late for my college classes and I wanna reached there as fast as possible but the captain keep on asking me for extra fare. My fare is 48rs plus 10rs from the last ride where there captian dropped me till my destination and asked me to cancel my ride and got charged 10rs more from the Rs50 i already paid in cash. Today the first captain asked me to pay more and when I refused he told me to cancel my ride. The second captain ask for my fare and i told him its 58 with my 10 fine from last ride cancellation he agreed to come but when i told him to do the normal procedure with my pin he suddenly asked me to pay 80rs. I refused so he got angry and ask me cancel my ride in a very rude way. When i cancel this time the app charge me 10 more for cancellation. I kept trying and the third captian did the same and he ask me to do offline ride. So gave up I got so frustrated I didn’t go to college today and came back to write this review. What’s wrong with this app every captain is trying to scam people for more money. They not only caused me trouble for the other captains also. I totally fed up of the app. I’m deleting the app. Its a useless app which charge a lot for fast rides but if the app can’t give fast delivery than its the more useless overpriced app in the appstore. Abusive driver

I am using rapido from past 2 months I really liked their services they charge on kms covered
But yesterday it was a scary situation for me and my mom. We booked an auto and driver was not ready to receive online payment he insisted us to give him cash we agreed since we were carrying cash but we didn’t have change
On reaching our destination total amount was ₹228 i gave him 300 but driver as well was not carrying change he said i will give you change after sometimes through google pay after contacting his known person but my mom said call the person right now and ask him to transfer change. Suddenly he started shouting on my mom we were asking help from many but they denied at last one guy gave us change and we gave to driver when driver started to leave he used foul languages and left me and my mom were furious and reported this incident to customer service.
I am not sure what customer service is doing till now they are just saying we have raised a ticket and we will take appropriate action against him the point is rapido is not taking this matter seriously. This can again happen in future with me or with anyone else it was a scary situation yesterday. I am not going to use rapido services after this.

Bad experience 😡

Very very bad experience I had experienced very pathetic situation, i booked bike ride, after that i get call from captain (bike driver) insisting me to cancel the ride, when i asked him to cancel from his side he talking in abusive language, while i trying to cancel the ride it's charging to pay captain. What it means we have to pay for listening abusive language for denied ride from drivers side. I tried to call customer support, but no such an option available there untill unless i cancel ride by paying cancellation charges and also no option to cancel the ride if captain (driver) denies to ride. by default you will be charged even if driver denies ride, i tried to escalate this issue to customer support team( this option only available after cancelling ride from my side by paying cancellation charges) they simply saying we will educate our captain ( driver) and keep on observation. Unprofessional app

I raise the complaint on captain yesterday I have a important interview I need reach the place 10oclock and I booked rapito bike and call the captain share the my pick place and landmark and I waited 15mints after that he come and said you can cancel the ride I asked reason he said I need only cash other wise cancel the ride even I Begging and request I don’t have cash I will pay phone pay g pay or rapito app I don’t have cash and I asked him if you account was probelm then why your not informed me when I called I can arrange the cash or I can cancel that time himself he said that’s your problem and he said you need to cancel the ride the I asking why I need to cancel your mistake you have to cancel but he is not canceled he left me I loss my interview 😭😭😭. Which is important part of my life and this is life changing job for me and also rapito customer care agent called me and they told you asking for cancel the ride without my concern they canceled and I raise the complaint still against the captain and I need my 25hr time which is wasted in my life I want return my 25hr of time and please guys don’t use rapito this is one of worst taxi app better you guys can use Ola and Uber there are giving best services kindly help me this rating need to down and tag and share the review for all the people and dislike 👎 this app and I need my 25hr of time otherwise next level I tag your ceo and consumer court

Could never maybe

So it’s almost 12 at night and me doing a review is something impossible thing but i wanted to share this, a day back I booked a ride and when the captain reached he asked me to cancel the ride so he could get some extra money (and tbh this have happened to me many times before and generally do this just for the sake of humanity) but on the way he asked me to call on a number just for some cancellation verification so I didn’t really bother and did the call but he tricked this to take my number, everything was fine and I didn’t noticed this until I received this call a while ago and I could listen someone abusing and yelling and it was him the captain I tried asking him but all he was doing is just abusing me for no reason… i cut the call and blocked him and tried complaining at the app but the assistant who called wasn’t even able to help me all he was saying is sorry even when I told him that I’m concerned about my safety.. and I ended up writing this and if i do get time I’ll try taking some serious action against this.. well this is all i had to say idk what else I’m supposed to do rn

Behold the sequel to Scam 1992, RAPIDO!

One absolute scam of an app this is. I installed it due to all the hype and popularity. When I was searching for an auto ride, estimated fare showed 68 rupees after applying some AUTO50 coupon(this is where it begins). After confirming a driver it shows 84 rupees. Ok fine maybe booking charge something you may think. But when I get the final fare breakdown I’m shown I got a discount of 20 rupees due to the coupon on a total bill of 104 rupees thereby giving me 84 rupees. My friend why would you lie sending me ads so many times saying 50% off on first auto ride if all you can give me is a paltry 20 rupees when i should have got 52 rupees. And the customer service??? Don’t even ask. They keep playing passing the buck and giving lame reasons like company protocol and all until you get tired of their antics. At times you can’t even tell whether the person on the other side is an actual agent or some AI. Overall their coupons are a huge scam, customer service is an infinite loop and if you also get stuck in the loop of trying to get their customer care to refund you, take some time and write an honest review. You’d be doing a great help to new users.

I’ve book a auto first time from this app from kanuru to moghalrajpuram in Vijayawada. I’ve booked and was waiting for the auto. The auto didn’t come. The waiting numbers was became red. I’ve clicked on the waiting numbers so I know that they (Rapido) will charge ₹1.50 for every minute. The auto didn’t came on time. He was doing late wantedly. My ₹91 bill became ₹112 automatically even there’s not my fault. The auto driver came late wantedly. I think they (Rapido) given their auto drivers instructions to do such things like that.
When the auto driver has came I’ve sat In the auto and he started driving. After two minutes he stopped the auto in front of a house and was waiting for someone other passenger. The passenger has came and didn’t sat in the auto because of me. Anyhow my 15 minutes journey became 45 minutes and I didn’t eat food because the market have closed.
I’m uninstalling this app right now. I’ve rated single star ⭐️ to review even I want to rate negative but there’s no option to rate the negative star. I’m uninstalling this app for forever and I’m not going to use again in life. Enjoy Rapido

Pathetic service

This app is really the worst app, their captains are so arrogant and rude, I had booked a ride on 20th February to a location which I had clearly selected while booking the trip, the captain arrived late saying his navigation wasn’t working properly, anyways we started the trip, but midway he took detour from the original route, I told him he is not going on the correct route, but he threatened me to shut up and kept on driving, I was scared he might hit me or something so I kept quiet. Finally he dropped me at some other location and left me stranded at deserted location. I had to book Uber to reach my location. I am never going to use Rapido again, guys if you value your time and money and want to be treated with some respect please don’t waste your time using this pathetic app. Uber or Ola drivers are much more efficient and arrive at the pick up location on time and drop you at the correct location. I even tried raising complaint against the captain through support section of the app, but they just gave standard reply that we apologise for the same and will look into it and get back to you at the earliest. I requested them to call me back but they told through chat they are having technical issues so won’t be able to call back and closed the complaint as resolved. How can they close the complaint as resolved without giving any satisfactory resolution ? I am going to close my Rapido account, will use Ola or Uber as their drivers are far more sensible and value your time.

Highly unprofessional behaviour of auto driver

On a serious note! Please take initiative that will ensure that a customer shouldn’t have to hear the opinions of the driver on what mindset he or she has!! I and my colleague Devika were headed home from office at 7:30 pm and she was sharing some family issues related to a certain female in her family. Devika’s stop comes first and she got down. The minute she got down, the driver turns to me and asks where was she from? I gave the answer and he answered back saying that “If that girl had been talking like this in my native, hum usko jaan se maar dete”. (To set the context, devika and I are independent women believe that women should not have to be in the kitchen and raising kids alone).
So basically this guy gave a death threat to my colleague because he had a difference of opinion. He hails from Bihar. I was sitting alone in that auto and didn’t know what to say in my defence because there’s no point arguing with such people.
Rapido, I really hope that you will do something to make sure that the drivers mind their own business!

Drivers are Cheating to rapido and customers

I am very happy with service like rapido. App is also good, there is issue with drivers. Some drivers ask me how much charge mentioned me in rapido i told them then they completed the ride option(from where i booked rapido) and charged shown was 20rs ( if they have taken me to my destination, my charge shown was 35rs) and then dropped me to my location, in app it’s shown 20rs (as according to app i haven’t completed the ride) but i gave him 35rs (because he dropped me at my destination). I think they are cheating with rapido , they are keeping this 15 rs in their pocket also because of this i can’t share ride link to my person. Some of them begged me to ride offline, i can’t resist them because i didn’t had any other transport option.
I have taken several rides, check my ride history. In many rides its seen that they cancelled or completed in the same spot, also they arrived to pick me. How can be this is possible?
This is 5 star app, i am giving 1 star

The company takes no liability

Please read the T&C before availing any services from this company! The company takes no responsibility for the service provider for not accepting a ride request- well... understandable but surprisingly the company also don’t take any responsibility for the service provider not reaching your location even after acceptance of your request! there’s more... the company takes no responsibility for the misbehaviour of the driver! Also the company doesn’t take responsibility of any item damaged while returning to original address in case of no delivery even if you buy insurance. So the driver can roam around and then say I couldn’t find and then throw your item on road and you cannot do anything. The funniest part is it is no refund. They say there is no refund. Also they say that they do not guarantee any accurate information on their website or app and not liable of informing any changes and it is customer’s responsibility to remain informed with accurate information!! How ridiculous is that! if you are not guaranteeing accuracy of the information that you are providing then how do we know accurate information. Which basically means even if you go by their T&C, in case of a dispute they can always come back and say - well we changed it... didn’t inform you and we never promised to provide accurate information on our app so we didn’t update it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 according to me we should report this company to the consumer forum just for misleading the customers with convoluted information for their own financial interest!

Cheating app & company

I will request people not to use rapido coz this is the 2 time i faced this problem, whenever i book a ride from mysore front gate railway station to mysore zoo the app shows discount has been applied & the ride is ₹. 10/-, but after the ride is finished the app from the rapido captain shows to pay ₹. 32/- this is the modern way of cheating customers. So i request people not to use & if this review had an option to post photo i would have provided for evidence, i have complained via e-mail to the company, but of no use. So don’t get cheated. When i can travel for ₹. 40 for the same distance in car in UBER/OLA why should i travel in bike, this is the question i ask for Rapido. I won’t stop this review here itself, be ready to face it in FB/ twitter or any social website, because business should be done in justice way. I request people to use Govt transit & i am here with deleting this app as soon as i post this app.
