This is such a scam app, once you make the payment of your order before it getting delivered, they will not deliver the order for sure, it’s been over 10 days, my order hasn’t been delivered, I’m calling customer care everyday, Everyday they have the same response that it’ll get delivered today, I’ve asked them to cancel so many times, everytime they say you’ll get a call regarding cancellation but I never get one. This is such a cheating malpractice to literally steal customers money.

It sometimes takes more ten half n hour to finish the order and when such thing happens...I go to big basket or Grofers and order from them by cancelling Spencer’s....they can’t compete other sites or apps in online business atleast for now.

The latest app update is absolutely pathetic and third class. Couldn’t place any order through this app. To place an order I have to login through browser. previously it was much much better but after it’s so called update which fixes minor bugs is absolutely a time consuming and time waste. Please make it better.

The cart always shows an amount that is double the actual value of goods added. Even if I add only one item, the bill value always shows as double the amount.
Also, I am not able to apply any coupon since last month.
I’ve updated the app, but the problem is the same. Please fix the issues soon.

Today transferred amount from my PayTm wallet to Spencer wallet in order to avail Black Friday Sale.The said amount was not credited inspite of been debited from my Paytm wallet.This is not accepted and it looks they purposely don't want the amount to be credited to Spencer wallet so that we don't avail the wallet price of the items one wants to buy.Its a Sale gimmick and nothing else.This app should not be used by anyone!

One of the worst online shopping apps and website, they don’t have any quality control team in stores, every time I got bad quality of product specially in vegetables/ fruits/ Meat etc.
So my suggestion never buy Fresh item from this online store.
And when you complain they directly say, this thing is not in our policy.

App charges double the amount you have placed in the shopping cart. For example if you have placed an item costing 95 in the cart, the app shows balance due as 220: 190 plus 30 for delivery. Issue occurs irrespective of the billing amount limit. Tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the app, doesn’t work. Tried calling the customer service to discuss the issue, they just asked me to use the website, and were not interested in noting down any details. Pretty bad experience with the customer service team.

The app is very slow. You can take a nap after clicking a button and when you wake up, it wud still be loading. Tried hard to order from the app but couldn’t succeed. And this is when I’m using the app on wi-fi. Please add some more servers. Lower you images size and the pages should start loading.

If we write a email they will call n tell the product code at the store was different that’s why we have sent wrong item and for missing the they the amount and then refund it in spencer store amount it’s foolish app please don’t install and waste time

There hasn’t been a single time that Spencers has delivered on time or without complaint. The service is ridiculous to say the least and it will annoy you to even take up a complaint with the customer service. Very disappointing performance from a brand which promised more than it could deliver. I would not recommend people to use this app for their own peace of mind.

If you download and order groceries on this App and make payment, they will not deliver the stuff, instead, they cancel the order and add money to Spencer’s Wallet. You have no way to get that back and you don’t get ever what you ordered. Customer care is pathetic, so essentially you end up going to the store to spend your wallet. This is their end objective to pull the people in a cheating way. Be careful before you repent like me

I had to cancel the order as it couldn’t be processed due to technical issue as informed by the customer care, that too when i enquired abt the undelivered order after the time slot has expired!. Search functionality not good, it doesn’t even have a filter option, in addition it keeps showing out of stock products at the top of the list too.
Feedback provided on any delivery/product doesn’t work out as no one bothers to take action or responds back.
Personally I felt that the quality is compromised for products when ordering through the app, even received outdated products.

I had placed the order at 10.30pm and tried to pay in advance by Paytm. It did not go through so I tried to change the payment terms to COD as I have done always earlier. Strangely no such option for changing was available. In the morning while we are waiting for the goods to come but there was no sign of it, I checked the App and found the order is cancelled !!!! No intimation/no SMS nothing!!! I called up their service center and the person Mr. Praveen asked me why didn’t I press the “Edit” button if I wanted to change the payment option, totally oblivious that no such option even exists!!! I insisted on talking to his supervisor so Ms. Sushmita came on the line and as per the usual service levels of any standard call center they uttered their “sorry” while squarely putting the blame on me for the goof up. They refused to acknowledge that Incase there is any issue about payment they could have checked the past records or just drop a SMS informing that the order is being cancelled. The entire onus lies on the consumer, even the one who has been buying from them since last 1.5 years.

Once you decide to make a payment but before finally making a payment, if you decide to add more item, your all earlier items will vanish from basket.
They do not save credit card resulting you have to feed card details every time.
