Great journalism content but bad app ux
The quality of news reporting is well appreciated.
I only have WION news app installed as other news providers are more of propaganda machines these days.
However, app experience isn’t great as there is no dark mode so I have sore eyes if I want read news before bed. And settings aren’t responding well in the app so needs fix .

This news app is a favourite of mine. But I can’t use it in i pad in landscape view. It doesn’t tilt towards the side i use the key pad. So i am not able to use it.

Quality journalism - But Wrong Placement of Ads
This channel holds up to the true value of journalism, no fake-made up stories. I have been following this channel on YouTube from long time and now I installed this app. Everything is great expect the part that placement of ads is somehow odd, it overlaps with the content towards the end of the page and there is no way to read the full content.

Best news platform ever
I love WION. I feel it’s the only real news platform that exists today. My most favourite show on WION is Gravitas & Gravitas Plus by Palki. She is a lovely anchor. I really admire her style of presenting the news. In a world of biased news channels, whether pro govt or anti govt - WION stands out as the only neutral media that gives out genuine news. Additionally, it also highlights off beat news that the other channels won’t even look at.
Just a request though - kindly tweak the app a little and make it adjust to horizontal orientation on the iPad. Would be convenient to read the news.

Great app. Minor content error observed, it must be an oversight. So thought I should bring it here. In the app when you open latest news there is a common heading forall news as general elections 2019. Which is not relevant. It can be addressed by the software programming team.

The LIVE functionality is buggy. Multiple videos play in the background. I can see one video but hear audio from multiple videos. Even after pausing the video the audio continues to play. Only option is to restart the app.

Simple, near and sensible
WION has become my favourite for the past few weeks.
The coverage of news is explicit and is crisp. At a time when the whole of Indian media was busy in the Bollywood drugs circus, only WION was worried about actual other serious issues. Not only about India but about the world.
For me, the best part is their communication. The language is so simple and basic that I can get everything out of an article in the first read, quickly.
Their coverages on India-China stand off at LAC and Forest fires in the US has definitely won my heart.

WION news is very informative, Especially I wait and watch Gravitas with Palki. Very satisfactory
I mean I have read some of the comments/reviews.. in fact I have just read two only and then come to the conclusion of writing my own view. What I have observed from these reviews.. I found these are full of hatred and biased, and that’s in trend these days to be critical against anything good happening in India. Some left media and liberals are responsible for this as a well known fact. Therefore, the WION working style is very good, especially covering international news giving befitting reply to AL JAZEERA and CNN and exposing false agendas spreading by hate mongers and urban naxals like NDTV, INDIA TODAY in India. Thus, your work is worth praising and wish you best of luck in future.

Do you not use your own app?
Dear WION,
While I am fan of the channel, it seems that no one at WION uses this app. Just like Zee News, this app needs to be closed every time a page is opened because the going back to home function has never worked in either of those two apps. Also, just open the app to know that one part of news is half covered. I mean, do we actually have to write a review to remind you that you did a shoddy job? Just open and check the app to know that your app development team is worse than 10 year old’s school app development project.

Layout needs to improve
While the content is refreshing, it’s really difficult to use this app on iPhone X and above as the arrow to navigate back to the home screen from an article that appears on the left side of the notch is unresponsive as is the settings tab that appears on the right of the notch on the home screen. Colour combinations need to be reworked as do the layout. Receptiveness to feedback over telephone is terrible, I say this especially since I like the WION content above others.

I believe no channel must show any content that would affect the psyche or f citizen in negative manner. But I’m aghast to see that your news channel and app shows extremely violent incidents as well. It is a request that your channel should refrain from showing such horrors online.
Secondly, your app needs improvement in terms of being user friendly. Even after refreshing it shows old news along with a few latest news. Make it more user friendly. I like your channel. Make everyone do

The app is really good. The live tv feature is really nice. The matter is worth browsing on most occasions. It's quick and good to keep updated for one self. Truely.. haven't gone through any other app providing such different columns like edge, opinion, life and fun before..
