I play mkv TV shows on the app and they run great.
However, I found that deleting a movie from the app interface doesn’t actually delete it from its “Documents & Data”. I realized this when my iPhone started giving me Storage Full error messages, after a few days of using the app. I was forced to delete the app off of my phone, to clear the “Documents & Data”, as the app itself offers no Storage clearing option inside its settings.

I’m using infuse from the past 6 months I believe this is the best video player for any kind of multimedia content I love it’s interface very impressive also it supports all type of video format such as 4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.similarly this app provides many other great while watching movies in infuse is just like streaming on a ott app that’s how amazing interface this app provides.a long ago was facing crop resolution issues while streaming anime I couldn’t be able to watch the subtitles with full screen mode but then I found this app and trust me it solved my problem.I am very happy 😃

Recently i purchased it for 1 year and after purchasing i saw that airplay feature is not working perfectly, it not able to stream videos of higher quality be it 720p, Video always skip while playing and sometime completely stopped. Then whats the use of purchasing this low grade app, VLC is much much better. Please fix this issue as soon as possible or i will cancel my subscription.

While I love the app, and have the infuse 6 pro since it’s inception.
I’m surprised to see that it has stopped working on Apple TV os15, it can show the files from NAS but once you hit play it will crash and exit the app.
The surprise comes by the fact that infuse 7 conveniently still works fine, it’s the 6 pro that has stopped working. I mean, it is pretty suspect.
I hope that they release a fix soon, because I’m not willing to upgrade to 7 pro, which is significantly more expensive than what I had already paid for the 6 pro.

Have a media drive connected as UPnP with movies and series repo on it. Have marked the location as favourites, so easily accessible when I need to watch, but every single time I try streaming, it goes into scanning mode with that big round loader and takes few minutes (10-15 mins) to show the list of movies or episodes and then to stream it. I do the same using VLC and it works as good as the drive is connected to my iPad.
I have been using infuse from past few years now, from v4, and have loved it but this issue since v7 just makes it unusable for me.

I have been using Infuse for a while now and it is one of the best apps for video streaming in an iPhone.
After the latest update to Infuse 7, unfortunately I can’t watch any videos without opting for a subscription tier.
In the app details it’s mentioned the basic version is free but it’s not anymore.
I hope the developer can look into the issue and sort it out.

It is simply the best video player I have encountered in my life ( well that accounts for just the 17 years but still being a tech nerd I know it ). It is way more elegant and organised that VLC. First of all it organises and syncs all your Movies and TV Shows well ( and by that I mean very well, albeit the file has the proper metadata ). Additionally the 4K and HDR playback is way more clean and stable than VLC ( comparing to it as it is the second best ). And those of you who are thinking that you have the VLC for free and this one has a freemium model, it is simply worth the extra bucks ( if you can afford it 😉).

Infuse used to be the best way to watch Plex content but that’s no longer the case. The tone mapping in the first party Plex app is much better for HDR content on non-HDR devices. The colours are totally washed out when playing HDR10 videos. As of now, I’m getting off the Pro subscription. Will like to revisit it if the app stands apart again. Spatial Audio is also missing.

I dont like to do review often, but trust me the reason I am reviewing this is because this app is everything an ideal video player should have ex copying from pc through itunes, setting passcode or faceid for app, and all the features one can expect and all this for free!!! There is premium version too that gives wireless play, background playback etc. I sincerely hope the developers wont screw this up being greedy and cutting down the features to only pro. Honestly felt the pro version for lifetime a bit too costly. Overall a great app!!!

Everything works fine.
But only drawback is that, it doesn’t have display enhancement feature. So we can adjust contrast and saturation in order to consume less battery. Because i have noticed it consumes more battery than vlc media player. Vlc almost gives 8 minutes video playback run at 1% battery consumption where infuse only gives 6 minutes at 1% consumption. So battery drains much faster. Its been couple of months i have purchased this app and unable to enjoy completely due to this drawback.. kindly add this feature

Infuse used to be my go to player on my iPad, but lately i can’t even get around to navigating my SMB library in its interface. All I want from a media player is to navigate my SMB file system AS IS and good format compatibility including 4K HDR on Apple TV.
While the latter is still valid, my file system is gone on my iPad and it keeps fetching metadata even with setting OFF which is by far one of the dodgiest things an app should be doing.
Shame to see a good product going down like this.

Amazing app. Can play all kinds of videos and can connect to multiple sources.
One problem I’m having is that whenever I’m adding new content to my library, my battery drops very quickly

Please make sliding while watching video invisible just like in Samsung own video app. When we slide for forwarding playtime below and above are visible. This feature is now in most apps even in vlc.

Don’t know what changed cuz I’m not a programmer but when I got infuse pro it was to play the 4K hdr titles with Dolby sound ad it did that beautifully. Either from ravpower filehub or through plex. Fast forward the last few updates and now the same titles that players so smoothly and are still streaming on VLC through the same setup are repeatedly having increasing loading times and getting stuck. Like I said I’m no programmer but something changed over the past few updates which caused this please address this cuz I got a lot of ppl hooked on getting the pro version cuz of this capability with the iPad Pro. I’m actually sad to see it stumble like this.

The playback capabilities and elegance of this app make it the best video playback app on the store. It would be more competitive if all the videos on the device are automatically added to the library of the app. That would make it perfect

Giving 4 stars because there is no option to play video in landscape only setting. This annoys me a lot as I have to again and again turn off rotation lock for the purpose. Will give 5 stars for sure if you can add that option in the next update.

👍🏻After trying few apps I have currently settled on Infuse video player mainly cause of its beautiful UI, animations and dark mode.
👍🏻It has gesture support for the playback.
Many settings can be changed and app will work the way we want.
👎🏻Vertical thumbnails: Devs, was this app made for Instagram videos? Cause I think majority of videos are shot horizontally with 16:9 aspect ratio. This critical issue needs to be fixed.
👎🏻Flawed metadata downloads: App downloads wrong metadata for videos. For example, for a short film the app downloaded cover/metadata of dead pool movie 😅

I think adding files via direct url should work in background also... if we switch the app while downloading it pauses...

PLEASE ADD THE OPTION TO RENAME THE VIDEOS ADDED TO THIS APP NOT ONLY BY SYNCING METABASE BUT BY RENAMING, COZ SOMETIMES IT DOESN’T SYNC PROPERLY!!!!!!!

Surely One Of the Best(if not best) Video Player I’ve used on iOS...
I’d recommend it for everyone either it be an amateur or a veteran iOS user... It’s like a complete package... And worth the pro upgrade in my Opinion... Absolutely Loved it. Keep up the Good Work.
Library Metadata issues

Perpetual issues with the library, never fixed until now, randomly the library just resets itself and you need to download all metadata again, fix this issue developers please or allow local metadata content so that we do not need to download and edit entire library again

I was extremely impressed by Infuse 5’s playback capabilities. It had rendered Planet Earth 2 and various other titles without any latency issues. This is by far one of the best apps for video playback. Furthermore, the interface is well sorted-out, with metadata and high definition images, which augments the experience further.

The only video player I have found that remembers my last watched position and that’s real important when you are watching a movie. Would like the developer to include pause option when I touch on the viewing area while watching.
Touch ID not available at app launch bug

Touch ID unlocking is not available whenever I launch the app. It only ask for password. Inside app when you go to settings then only touch ID will be available.
This is bug kindly resolve it.
No real airplay support

I am actually surprised that app developers liberally write “unmatched airplay support”, when all they do is, well, absolutely nothing. When you click on the airplay icon in Infuse 5, it asks you to go ahead and mirror your iPhone screen to the TV. Wow! Thanks for educating me about that!
Pro is that the app has a lovely GUI, much better than VLC or Player Extreme etc. (The one star rating would have been 5 stars if true airplay support would have been given from inside the app)

I've recently started using this app. It's awesome for what it's offering. But still it lacks the support for a true file management. For example, I had added separate folders for different seasons of a show but it shows me the files in those separate folders as if they are in one. Very difficult to find which season what file belongs to.
