This is the very first time I’m reviewing any app on Apple play store my complaint no 27736989. The driver was so illiterate that he dint knew how to talk to a female how Porter make such driver as their partner. Showing lesser rate at the start of trip and leaving wait time at the end of the trip is the new trend to loot common people. Very pathetic and very disappointing app ever downloaded till now in my life. From this moment I’m uninstalling the Porter app from my phone

I figured only late that porter has bike delivery service where the rider will pick up and drop things at the drop points. I usually use Swiggy genie or Dunzo for this purpose. They were either expensive or they won’t cover remote areas of the city. Porter covers more range compared to the above mentioned services and price was also reasonable. Really impressed with the service. Porter really needs to do marketing for this, being a regular online delivery user, I came to know of this service only today.

Pathetic Service, my vehicle is stuck somewhere. No accountability, they are just some random mediators who are clueless and will make you talk to multiple truck drivers, loaders only if you are lucky enough to reach them. Just give your stuff and then keep on following up for ages without getting a timeline. They have no process and most inefficienf call centre

I had to delete the Porter app three times before I could book a two wheeler parcel delivery service . Amount shown was Rs 78 ( 97-20 discount ) . After the driver picked up , the driver lost the location map and I too couldn’t track him . I had to call him and send him the location on what app separately . Besides losing the tracking map , the delivery charge also changed from 78/- to 118/- . I am surprised that the Porter service is so poor and unreliable . I am not happy with the app and the change in the pricing post booking and pick up . I have paid the driver 78/- as per the initial charge which was shown

I have booked labour to load /unload .
Loading is done smoothly because he has just need to shift using trolley
While unloading the driver changed his mind n asked extra money created nuisance .
He took the money without giving us service.
I reached out porter customer support it was even more worst . The executive was short Tempered . I asked her to give my labour service amount back . She instead supported driver as customer has to help the labour as I booked helper service . I shared the screenshot where it was quoted labour . But they are not ready to agree.
Now issue is getting further escalated but not solved. In my case the receiver is a old couple they can’t even get up n receive. Thankfully I was there throughout delivery.

After complaining to customer support no action has been taken by the authority. Rider asked for extra cash and after reaching delivery place used foul languages and threatened. But by the customer support they didn't bothered to help customer out, when i asked him to transfer the call to his senior he disconnected the phone.
Is this the way you people will run this business, if there is no customer whom you will give services.

I made a booking through Porter. There was an issue And to resolve it I had to make 20 plus customer care calls . Usually the customer care will follow up till you pay. Once the payment is made they will not respond. Unfortunately there is no place in APP store to paste the pictures else I could have added the call log and showed the pin I had to go through. I had to cancel the service and when I asked for refund they did not refund. So please be aware of making payments. U have every chance of loosing the money. The estimate and invoice also is completely different.
I suggest u take a local partner to help you move. You will not loose money atleast. I lost the entire payment please be careful

I booked their packers n movers service 5 days prior my shifting they asked for advance, I paid the token amount. On the day shifting no one was there to do the work. My shifting was scheduled at 10 am, after my constant calls they arranged pickup around 1pm, they sent just 2 boys without any bubble wrap or tools for dismantling furniture like bed RO as was committed in my invoice. Then the vehicle they sent was smaller which could not carry any furniture. I have to leave back my bed there. And dismantling was done in a very bad manner, as my discussion with porter executive I have to return back cartons after 24hours when I requested them the vendor started fighting.
Please don’t book any packers n movers service from them

Our booking on porter was super smooth, we had queries regarding the booking on the app and customer services helped us promptly.
Furthermore on the day of the shifting, the team was cordial, swift and very cooperative. We have shifted before but no other agency has taken care of our belongings with such care. Things were packed safely baad methodically. They asked us to label boxes based on rooms which made the unpacking process easier.
They were also observant enough to notice damage on our belongings and bring it to our notice before getting it packed to avoid future problems.
Overall experience was very very very good.

Tbh i think Porter isn’t a trustworthy application. Your goods arent secure. One of their rider lost my stuff and accepted in a conference call with the porter executive that he did and then i was asked to send a picture of the invoice to provide the valuation of the goods which was done. I was further asked to wait until a senior executive will call me to explain the further procedure. It’s been days and out of no where i get a call that “ sir as discussed we are transferring 2000 in your porter waller in compensation, where actually there wasn’t any discussion and how can i even accept 2000 for a good that I purchased for 6000?” Further they tell me we will inform our senior executive regarding this and you’ll get a call and guess what I haven’t got any call till now. To all the people who think that their stuffs are secure while sending it through porter, please don’t they tell you that they take accountability but they don’t. You’ll just get harassed calling them again and again.

I have tried to book rental vehicle as for my business for 4hr, 1st driver called me and begged for cancellation from my side due to he’s from far location I canceled it 2nd driver said I won’t come for rental he doesn’t know about rental I will not do 3rd driver said he’s vehicle belt broken 4th driver said he I’ll take 2hr to come if you wish to wait I’ll come.
All those happened and I kept on cancelling them and ordering new vehicle. Then all of a sudden I got suspended from porter saying that I canceled to many times so proter want me to call for every single order before cancelling then tell them the reason then it should be cancelled by there end. I don’t see how i should call for there driver mistake and now I’m there worker as thy asking me why did you cancel the order you should inform, think it’s some stupid made the order of booking system who can suspend customer giving order shame to company like this for making fun of there own customers

Time : 8:30pm- I had to deliver a parcel to a doctor. My family tried with various city courier services. I went to sleep as I had just returned from my overseas tour. I believed that the courier was delivered.
Time 4:30am - I woke up to a message from the doctor that the courier wasn’t delivered last night. I realised that no courier agency had come to pickup the package despite requesting. They had no available pickup boys.
Time: 4:45am - I searched various courier services in Bangalore. My search criteria was “Anytime, anywhere, anyhow”. I found two courier agencies but, again, after registering found that there were no pickup boys.
Then, I found Porter. I had used your service before to shift some luggage. But, never for a small parcel.
I downloaded the app on my iPhone and entered all details.
Time: 5:24am - I was given the courier name Mallikarjuna. I contacted him. Within 8 minutes he arrived and collected the package.
Time 6:14am - Package was delivered.
I thank your team for being with us at this odd hour. Bless your team. Bless Mallikarjuna.

This was my first experience with Porter and was amazing . Leslie was my spoc and he delivered the stuff quickly. I missed paying him at origin and called him enroute saying pls do not collect the amount from where it would be delivered as I was sending a birthday gift . The only reason i took one star off is because the are limiting the download of the app to the india app store only. So if you are a tourist and have your app store base outside india. It wont even let you download. So you have to jump thru hoops of changing your country in app store and then only you can download it. Please open up your app to all country app store.

I needed a file to be delivered to another advocate and booked the services. The delivery person turned down to come upstairs to 3rd floor. He also asked if we had a lift, which we didn’t. When I insisted that I’m unwell that’s the reason why I requested for their services otherwise I would have travelled myself.
He did come but I had given him the freedom to cancel the request.
I don’t have a lift, so I won’t get someone to come upstairs. So deleting the app.

Used porter for the first time to send a pair of spectacles for repair. The optician suggested this instead me driving nearly 50 kilometres. The Porter Rider Sambit came within 2 minutes of booking, assured me of timely delivery with a smile and said I guarantee it if the location specified is accurate. The app is easy to use but the customer care executive will call and explain all details and al provide you with the best rate! And the details after the booking are all shared via SMS and WhatsApp. The technology can be better and tracking of the truck was not working, but overall I would use their services again!

I have heard about Porter from my friends and thought of giving it a try when I had to shift apartments in Hyderabad. I can only say the experience from the time of booking the service until the movement was completed was amazing. The booking was accepted readily and Mohan was assigned to shift my goods. Very prompt and efficient service plus the pricing is also reasonable. Can not thank you guys enough.. hope it does not become like Uber/Ola eventually, which feels more like they are looting & consuming a lot of time of the person rather than helping solve anything for the consumer.. I see some issues mentioned on google reviews I hope you guys resolve it quickly as you guys have great potential to become an awesome organisation..
Also, if lift is available, you should provide help to move to the floor if someone is adding helper, it felt a little incomplete service as the driver and helper said that they can only leave stuff at ground floor..

Having a movers services as handy as Porter, has made luggage movement easier and a lot more convenient. The options of different capacity of vehicles and accordingly the applicable prices is a great option to have. Rather than spending a huge sum of money for even few bags which is standardised in local movers, we have an option to choose the package which saves us quite some amount of money. Only feedback is that the drivers should be trained well enough to communicate well. Found too many arrogant drivers. Second, the helper money that we pay should be well justified.

I used their house packing and shifting service. They were on time and very reasonable in rates. They did the packing as per my request. Glass items were handled well. During the loading into truck too, they were careful to pack the sides well so that the items won’t shake and get damaged during transport. The same truck came to my drop location unlike other packers where they load onto bigger container and club with other customer’s parcels . I am quite satisfied with the porter service

I don’t generally give reviews , but u really needed to say this , the app isn’t friendly for people who need labour for loading and unloading. The drivers even on selecting as helper do not load or completely unload. Upon google search I found it is supposed to be giving an option for helper + labour , yet that option is also not available and specifically helpers are not available for vehicles such as EECO. Even if it’s eeco doesn’t mean that the items are going to be light weight and I keep facing this issue. My work is being hampered and failed to find a solution for these issues. Not even a single driver has accepted loading and unloading without a payment extra in cash and this makes the service highly expensive.

I have used porter house shifting service for my 1BHK house, the way they packed all the fragile items is good and the supervisor has monitored the entire packing, loading and unloading process and done the shifting process very carefully. Payment options and tracking issue

Why can’t we pay during the ongoing trip??? You just have 2 payment options. Cash and Paytm. I do payment from company bank account, how can I have Paytm account in the name of company. Everytime then we have to pay after the trip ends. Not necessarily we are free when the trip ends…. And also we are unable to track the tempo in the ongoing trip… please understand we are sending expensive goods thru your tempo. Please remove both these issues.

I was so moved by No Broker to use them for the packer and mover service, but it was during my final moments I discovered that porter offers the same service. I got on a call with the customer service team , who helped me take my list of belongings and provided me a quote which was almost 35-40% cheaper that the earlier provider. I went ahead , made the booking. On the day of booking the team shows up right on time, packed everything carefully and helped me move in to the new home peacefully and without any hassle. Kudos to the 2 guys that came that day, and kudos to the porter team for such an amazing service. Highly recommend !! Keep you the good work , I am a satisfied customer with the porter service.

We are regularly using porter services for years now. We pay for the trips using porter money as well as make cash payments. Earlier when we clicked on payment on the porter app we got the full history of the transactions which helped us to know the deduction of money from our porter wallet account real time. Now you have remove this feature and this creates lot of confusion to track payments. Request you to PLEASE GET THE FEATURE BACK ON THE APP.

I have barely written a review for an app and its services like this, but for porter i am pleased to right, i have used porter about 10 times in the last 2 years and believe me logistics have never been this convenient ever before, The drivers ive had have always been extremely helpful, even if ive not paid extra for helper, they have helped me the best to their capacity, the payment options are convenient, the time shown for the drivers to reach has always been accurate, if there is a way to thank porter enough i would be pleased to because transportation and logistics have never been so much convenient before..... thank you so much for the excellet app experience, excellent accuracy, polite drivers and ya one last thing een when i had an issue with payments they have waived of my entire balance too which is a really hard to find goodwill gesture these days

Had registered long back to check based on advertisement i saw… however booked service today and experienced that its so simple… normally dealing with tempo guys is painful… however had smooth experience… i got it at 1/3rd of the normal coat which i would have paid for the same service… (i got 50% discount since that was first time booking) overall nice efforts by team… two suggestions… 1. The app seems to hang/status of vehicle dnt seem real time… 2. Dont call customers too frequent for booking so that they start feeling negative abt application… rest all good. Thanks

The thing is from yesterday we are getting all thing done they told us that the driver vl come and pick the thing by 12 we call that person the one we got but the driver told i vl not be coming there is different one we call that person also but then he also told no and then we call the porter the lady was telling me that we need to pay 500 extract as there was issues at first time so starting they told 6000 to drop your thing in mysore from Bangalore and then today they told its 6500 i too agree but the thing is ve are ready to pay but there is no one to pick the product

A warning for small business owners: please do not use porter. They will show you an amount before delivery, and will charge you a higher amount later. I had a similar experience- was shown 107, then was charged 167!
When I raised a complain and their team called me, the person was just not willing to listen to my side of the story at all. And when I told her to please never ever market their service to me again, and that I’m going to be uninstalling their app, she said ‘ok’!! Right after the call, I got a message saying porter tried to call me but I was not reachable! Very convenient for her to mark this case as closed!
Please use WeFast or Dunzo instead but never porter!

Porter is not Uber or Ola. Their service is pathetic .You will eventually end up paying as much as you pay to any truck guy from neighbourhood. Drivers are unprofessional and will identify things that can’t be transported without additional charges like glass, mirrors,etc. They may also try to make two trips instead of one. If you don’t have anyone to help load and unload, the driver may say he will double as helper but not really help. My advice is to use a guy from the neighbourhood and avoid Porter. I deleted their App after I used them once.

I have user this app twice to get my electronics at Malad Mumbai, both the time drivers were soft spoken and gentleman, they pickup my fridge and washing machine and delivered at my location without demanding extra money.
App did a great job while booking the tempo and tracking during the delivery, I was able to see tempo image moving on map. First I drop my plan to use this app due to plenty of negative comments but I am happy I taken my decision and used it.

I strongly suggest you never go with them, they will loot you of your money. Neither pick up nor drop your goods and also take your payment forcefully and if to complaint about this you call the customer care then they will blame you and also disconnect your call even if you call them over a 100 times just to loot up your money which you’ve paid. It’s better to go with a local trusted tempo paying him ₹100 extra rather than going with these cheap, fraudulent swines hiding behind the screen.

Worst app the pickup guy has his own mood if his mood is okay he will do the pickup otherwise he’ll ask for cancellation and after cancellation porter support team calls to know the reason after that they call the driver and then the driver again call us . Means we are having so much of free time to talk to them throughout the day . Sometimes driver says your pickup point is too far from my location you have to pay me extra . This is the worst service I've ever encountered in my life. First they said they will come at 7 am but turned up at 10:30 am. Second they didn't bring enough packing material and not even enough tapes. We had to buy tapes and give them so that they will seal the packaging. They bought two small autos to shift a 3 bhk house with king size bed, mattress, fridge, dining table, washing machine and other house hold items. We had to provide and supervise the packing as they were not packing anything properly. They didn't pack the dining table and upon insisting that it will get damaged they did it with the material we provided. After multiple type punctures later we reached our new home in the evening. What a nightmare of an experience!! You guys should be ashamed to call yourself a company who promised a good service.

On 10th dec I sent a parcel through Porter service that never got delivered. When I called support they said I should not worry and it will get delivered next day as they were trying to contact the driver. This went on for over 3 days.
Each time there was a different person at support and they refused to give a one point of contact and were always vague that their senior would call back. In the bargain we lost in precious time. Till date they have neither delivered the parcel nor returned it. I have filed a police complaint against them abd now it’s under police investigation.
Absolutely unreliable and unprofessional.

I realised that most people don’t write reviews when they have a good experience. And guessing that’s why there are so many negative reviews.
The driver was very nice. He helped me move my things into and outside the truck and do not complain once. He didn’t even ask for any extra money. He delivered it on time. Even though it was raining after I booked my ride the price didn’t increase.
Overall a very good app!! Would highly recommended if you are like me and don’t like talking to too many people.

I booked delivery .... and wanted to add for multiple stop ... since i was not able to do it myself from the app so called customer support ... they did not helped at all just denying to call from registered number and i told them i cannot call u from my registered number ... u just guide i will do the steps ... but executive were very rude and put the call on hold and no answer.... i was helpless!!!
Customers please try with with other app bookings and service provider if u cannot call from registered mobile number... these people at customer support will not help u at all..
