I was so hopeful to use the app but my experience has been pathetic. I had to deliver an urgent package so I booked for express delivery. The delivery was delayed for 6 days and every time I called to ask about the parcel, the customer executives did not help and shamelessly refused to answer. I had to save my friends from using their services or else they would have suffered the same. Save your money and do a traditional courier instead. Not worth the mental stress.

I had the terrible experience with the porter . I have been trying to talk about the matter with the customer support team but they just kept wasting my time while asking only one thing 4 times on call “did you start the trip??” They asked me to share proof of techincal glitch which I did but after that they do nothing about it and also the delivery partner told me that i am cancelling the trip and you can rebook it but hè marked it delivered and took the payment. I will suggest not to book or pay money to the delivery partner before starting the trip and never ever use there service bcz in case of any issue they will never resolve or work upon it. Customer team and management is doing nothing to resolve their matter and they will just bother you by just calling again n again. The matter is still not resolved and even the delivery partner lied on the call while thé investigation. I recently had the misfortune of getting the service from Porter Movers and Packers for my relocation, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Their service was not just disappointing; it was downright abysmal. The movement was from one building to next in the same complex, the moving process took an entire day. The staff was unprofessional and would disappear for long periods, leaving me wondering if they had abandoned the job altogether. The majority of furniture got damaged or scratched. They carried a small mini vehicle and had to forcefully push the items into it. When I tried to file a claim for the damages, the company flat-out denied any responsibility and refused to provide support. It has been nothing but regret taking this.

I booked Porter to move 5 items from one building to next building in same society. First they took the booking which costed 799 then just 1 hour before someone from Porter called me that they can not move the items. He told me either to book with him in private or buy more expensive service which is not good as moving moderate weight items from 1 building to next should not cost more than 800. I even offered him 500 more but he didn’t agree which led to cancellation of my booking. I booked it from a local mover and he did it in only 700 rs. Very poor service from a growing startup I think.

First of all the app is very confusing to use. I booked my courier but couldn’t add 2 parcels together. Once I booked it was so tough to track the order because every time I open the page it says “something went wrong”. Secondly, when the parcel reached, all my well packed stuff was broken and damaged. There was no point to courier the stuff. I had plastic and steel wares, they were all broken. This same happened with my friend through the same app as we both were shifting at the same time. She too received all her glassware and steel pan damaged.
Will never recommend this app to anyone, please spend 500-1000 extra somewhere which is trusted, only then your courier and the price paid will be fruitful.

I recently used Scooty Transport service through the Porter app, and it was an absolute nightmare. Firstly, the delivery was egregiously late, causing significant inconvenience and disrupting my plans. The worst part was the sheer rudeness of the delivery executive. Not only did they fail to apologize for the delay, but they also displayed a disrespectful attitude. Their lack of professionalism was appalling. I strongly advise against using Scooty Transport for any delivery needs unless you enjoy waiting around for hours and being treated disrespectfully. Additionally, I would strongly discourage anyone from using Scooty Transport through the Porter service app. Local transport options are far superior in terms of reliability, punctuality, and customer service. Save yourself the headache and opt for a more dependable alternative for your delivery needs.

This company is a fraud. These guys use all sorts of weird methods to earn money. They have done wrong to me. I have called many times but they did not give me the right response. I am their regular customer. They are doing the same thing with me too. I call center people always take the side of their bikers. You bikers, in order to earn money, start the trip at the same place and end the trip at the same place, because of which, even if we complain, they have to make the payment by showing our mistake and it shows payment due in our account. I had to book AC installation and uninstallion service on 12 March 2023. Then one guy called me ( Naan vara late aagum so Neenga next slot boook pannunga) So I booked next slot for 4-8. But that guy came to my house around 8:15pm. He’s talking way and his behaviour is very worst and he’s not a professional AC Service guy and he not working till 12:30 pm. He broken our AC gas copper pipe and damaged walls. At the same I mailed to Porter customer care but their not responding properly. Worst customer care and worst AC machanic service. Please don’t book this app… their not professional service and their not responding properly… please beware with them ( Porter customer care service is very worst, they won’t help to resolve customer concern)

First of all when I booked porter driver asked me to cancel the booking and he will do it personally. But I refused then he said he will do it. The material had to be collected from 2 places as per booking. Then he asked me for 200₹ more and making excuses. The weight of both consignment was approx 10 kg only. Then I complained to the porter driver was on the line but call disconnected. Initially the booking amount was 582₹ then it become 700₹ and shows 100₹ due on the app yesterday and today it shows that the balance amount is 600₹ . I think in this case porter is confused. I don’t know what their policy is. If this case the driver is trying to become over smart. He is tries to loot both porter and customer. But who knows the driver. The porter will be defame. If this issue will not be resolved we not use porter any more.

I've had a really negative experience with them. I run a home industry and use Porter as my delivery partner. Recently, I discovered that despite money being deducted from my Porter credit account, their riders ask my customers for additional charges. For example, when the total amount was supposed to be ₹87, the rider asked for ₹60. When I complained and requested an apology email, they didn't respond adequately. Their helpline representatives are also very rude and unhelpful. This isn't the first time this has happened, and on top of that, their service doesn't match the high prices they charge. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

The app provides an easy way to get your pickup and drop but there are hidden charges with regards to how far the drop location selected is from the actual home/flat. The app allows to select only the drop location that is available via the maps in the software. We are not able to select the exact drop location required. If the house or flat is not within 50m, the delivery vendor starts asking for more money to get the items delivered. There is no provision in the scheduling to select how far it is from the actual drop location and the vendor can haphazardly ask any amount. This was my first time booking a mover and packer service through portor and I am sorry say this has been an extremely unprofessional approach towards having the quotation given and partner vendor services. Do check these hidden clauses as the porter team will just try to convince you it is the vendor’s right to ask instead of working on detailing out these clauses on the invoice of the bill. If customer is aware of such additional hidden charges, he/she might opt to not take the services of porter. Extremely unpleasant experience resulting in loss of customer. Also noticed one more thing, they block you when you raise complaints

One of the most pathetic Customer resolution member I have come across in my whole life.
No manner of speaking and no way of resolution was also provided.

My business requires regular transportation service And I have been using porter from multiple different numbers and account but encountered with Support team for the very first time and it was worst experience and also realised how paralysed Porter support system is in case of any issues and concerns.
They also do not have any history or database of the porter Partner and just share your personal details to anyone without proper Terms and conditions (As mentioned by Saurabh only)
Which is big security threat in itself.
I will pay more amount to my local dealer rather than using Porter service.
Will also ask everyone to delete this pathetic app very soon.

They totally denied delivering the packet. They said we couldn’t hand over packets to customers. I have a request to call back. As per their norms, but from 10 o'clock, I got only a missed call from them. The packet has very urgent documents for AIIMS Patna. It's very urgent for us. They are not answering my calls. I booked 3 wheeler auto from sultanpet and there was 20 parcels i kept in that auto and told driver to go to destination since i had two wheeler i told him to go. When he reached to destination i checked my items there were 2 parcels missing worth 2 lakh items in that and eyen i complaint to porter customer care they told they will give complaint and take action but still there is no response. While talking to driver he told there were thief with a knife and they took those parcels. I still can’t believe this how can this happen in day light and on a busy road. One of the worst service and doing fraudulent with there customers. Using porter since 4 years now i didn't face any trouble but yesterday i lost my 2 parcels worth 2 lakh. Please look into it and resolve it as soon as possible.

I booked an intercity parcel service, my package is yet to be delivered even after 15 days of expected delivery while the package is in same city, their customer support is useless and they say they have escalated the issue and give no resolution, I was provided a fake self pick address by the customer support, which turned out to be a residential apartment with no office, they have probably lost my package and have literally made me go 10 kms to a fake location for self pickup as they are failing to deliver, pls dont go for this app you will probably never recieve your package, I will surely file a complaint for all the hassle and harassment i went through and never got my package.

I had a very important parcel of mine to be courier. So I booked the order on Sunday and made the payment regarding same which was very high and the delivery date was of next Saturday. So I waited but no delivery was done. So I contacted them multiple times for 3/4 days for requesting to deliver my order asap. After doing all this still they haven’t delivered my order yet. I called multiple times in a day all they would say that ma’am it will be delivered today itself, we have marked your order on priority all that. But both happened, the concerned team did not called me once regarding my order or not a single update about what happened with my order. They are complete cheats and careless and don’t care about the customer time and order. They don’t deserve any star. Most pathetic and worst service ever. Never ever use porter.

Porter is a blessing for my business. I use it to send small packages all around Delhi/NCR. But an incident happened yesterday (7-Oct-23) which has taken me aback. I sent a package to my client which my client had to pay at their end. When the Motorcycle Porter reached there he started fighting with my client and asked for ₹350 instead of ₹294 shown on the app. He threaten that he will report to Porter that we didn’t pay him anything so our account will get blocked. My client eventually paid him ₹330 and the Porter left. My father says that the same thing happened with him too. I’ll still use the service. It’s just something to keep in mind going forward.

Just deleted Porter app from my phone. No support from Porter customer care but harassment. Total payment due was 2279 which was increased due to system error. After having negotiation with Porter, 318 rupees was deposited to driver wallet account by Porter and asked me to pay 1961 rupees. I have paid due amount 1961 rupees. But after paying suddenly Porter app was showing that 318 rupees is pending. Several times I called Porter customer care to inform that 318 rupees discount was offered and already paid by Porter to driver wallet. But than also matter is not resolved. It is not about 318 rupees but it is about a lie and harassment Porter is doing to their customers.

I booked a transport vehicle today for shifting my home. After reaching destination, found the bed onboarded was missing. When questioned about the bed, driver response was lethargic. He asked us to file a police complaint for finding the bed and it will be found within a week along with customer support.
Frustrated with his response, i searched it around all areas and found it finally on a road side. Bed dropped from the vehicle because of poor driving and onboard, point to note is he asked extra 150 to onboard things into his truck which i paid (just to place things in his truck, not shifting help).
After all these, he still says its not his fault if things are lost and i have to file a complaint in such situations with police. With the facts, what assurance does this app provides me to book for the next time ?

Very unprofessional service. I was denied to load my own household saying that these are not mine but other people’s things. Just because my friends were involved in laoding. I was having 2 cartons and 2 bags kept at my sister’s place next to my building and the driver said those were of 2 building’s household. I will make sure no one from my contacts deals with such nonsense. I booked the local mini truck and it took 500 to pick up and drop my stuffs where as porter was charging me 921 for the same trip.
After a heated argument with driver and contact support they changed thier policy suddenly that your household should not contain overall weight of 25kgs.

Waiting chargers were already applied in app still driver asked to pay more
Due to network issue payment got stuck, i asked him to wait for 30 mins and driver threatened me to come to my place again if i will not pay him again
Hence i have to pay him again and after half an hour earlier payment was also transferred to him
I asked him to pay as double payment was done no response from driver side
So i raised a ticket and complaint i explained the issue 4 time to 4 diff executive while in conference with driver every-time. No resolution and worst part if you don't receive their call they will close the case and again you have to open a new case starting from scratch
Means seriously they cant reopen the same ticket and no way to track the ticket .
Also they will always take driver in conference why cant they solve internally as i have discussed the issue in conference three times with driver. They should first internally align.
I have security concerns if he can threat me for not paying immediately he can come to my place anytime and threaten me again.
Porter really has to improve their customer service.

App has become popular because of the business model of quick and competitive rates offered while bringing transporters and prospective customers with together. It works around certain legal loopholes, probably to keep things simple, avoid responsibilities for bad service by transporters. I used it locally between cities, but a close relative booked their intercity service. Their partner transportation vendor picked up the goods - did not provide a challan or a receipt - so essentially you have no proof that they took your consignment. It does not reflect on the app at that stage. Also the vendor collected 80 percent of the charges which is also outside the app. Nothing reflects on this app apart from the fact that you have booked a service paying a small booking fee and that your “shifting is under progress”. So, you have to wait for 4 or 6 days or whenever your consignment is delivered . TTill that time you have no proof that you have paid the company or the fact that the consignment is collected. All through that period it shows that the payment is pending despite you paying a humongous amount. The app should record at every stage to be rated so highly and trusted . Other Swiss it remain a just a basic tool to bring a cistern and trader together without proving any security

Booked packers and mover services from Porter after looking at many positive reviews online but personal experience was substantially below par. Firstly the supervisor was assigned just 10 hours before the scheduled start time, secondly, the assigned supervisor continued with excuses to delay the arrival time including quoting government restrictions (read ‘no entry’) at the time of assigned arrival. 3-4 calls with customer care and the result, booking canceled with INR 500 paid for booking advance forfeited. I guess it’s a way to make INR 500 for each cancellation and delivering profits in the books by stealing from common people.
Simply not recommended for anyone!

Sales men will make promises during the order, But ground labour will show you the reality.
The app doesn’t have any visible clarity about the items mentioned. Each item in the menu should be displayed with a picture for better clarity.
Your selection will differ according to the ground workers. The ground workers will ask you to revise the order and will not work until the order is revised. The revised order will have higher price even if you ask the support team to remove any item from the order. They will give the excuse of “High demand” for increased price. If you raise any dispute during the work then they will raise the ticket which will be resolved on their availability and during that time the ground workers will not do any work and will wait until the issue is resolved. If it is Sunday then don’t expect it to get resolved.

The app doesn’t have notification on / off option. In settings, the only option is to delete the account.
I get so many spams every day.
The app doesn’t provide real tome tracking of the rider. This is the most crucial for ap of this kind.
Tracking interface is super annoying. Half of the screen is filled by stupid banner and rest of the screen shows very tiny sized tracking details. And suddenly a big banner pops up every time you click on track button.
The only way to contact customer support is by raising a callback request. Support people are living in an era of 1990s.
No matter what language you select in IVR, support people always talk in hindi.
Please spend some money and fix these issues. Most importantly the tracking interface and lack of real time tracking.
There should be an option to block the riders who misbehave so that they are not assigned to the same buyer again. I went through a very scary experience when a rider threatened me and asked 200 rupees extra on top of the bill. I was told that it will be escalated and support will contact me but it never happened. So, old people, girls living alone, use the app with caution as the service provider has no control how a rider will act/behave with you.

After booking was accepted for moving stuff, there were no details given. I had to do a follow up with the vendor who had no idea he had accepted it !!
There was no tracking done by the company . They vaguely said a replacement will come 2 hours after the booking time !!
I did alternate arrangements. Customer care first tried to keep taking more time , then said per their policy will not refund booking amount though delay was fully from their end as it was a live booking , whatever it means . As if they were doing me a favour by saying someone will be 2 hours after the scheduled time.
Then said amount will be refunded 5-7 days.
Stay away if you are looking for moving household items.

I figured only late that porter has bike delivery service where the rider will pick up and drop things at the drop points. I usually use Swiggy genie or Dunzo for this purpose. They were either expensive or they won’t cover remote areas of the city. Porter covers more range compared to the above mentioned services and price was also reasonable. I made a booking through Porter. There was an issue And to resolve it I had to make 20 plus customer care calls . Usually the customer care will follow up till you pay. Once the payment is made they will not respond. Unfortunately there is no place in APP store to paste the pictures else I could have added the call log and showed the pin I had to go through. I had to cancel the service and when I asked for refund they did not refund. So please be aware of making payments. U have every chance of loosing the money. The estimate and invoice also is completely different.
I suggest u take a local partner to help you move. You will not loose money atleast. I lost the entire payment please be careful

I booked their packers n movers service 5 days prior my shifting they asked for advance, I paid the token amount. On the day shifting no one was there to do the work. My shifting was scheduled at 10 am, after my constant calls they arranged pickup around 1pm, they sent just 2 boys without any bubble wrap or tools for dismantling furniture like bed RO as was committed in my invoice. Then the vehicle they sent was smaller which could not carry any furniture. I have to leave back my bed there. And dismantling was done in a very bad manner, as my discussion with porter executive I have to return back cartons after 24hours when I requested them the vendor started fighting.
Please don’t book any packers n movers service from them

Our booking on porter was super smooth, we had queries regarding the booking on the app and customer services helped us promptly.
Furthermore on the day of the shifting, the team was cordial, swift and very cooperative. We have shifted before but no other agency has taken care of our belongings with such care. Things were packed safely baad methodically. They asked us to label boxes based on rooms which made the unpacking process easier.
They were also observant enough to notice damage on our belongings and bring it to our notice before getting it packed to avoid future problems.

Tbh i think Porter isn’t a trustworthy application. Your goods arent secure. One of their rider lost my stuff and accepted in a conference call with the porter executive that he did and then i was asked to send a picture of the invoice to provide the valuation of the goods which was done. I was further asked to wait until a senior executive will call me to explain the further procedure. It’s been days and out of no where i get a call that “ sir as discussed we are transferring 2000 in your porter waller in compensation, where actually there wasn’t any discussion and how can i even accept 2000 for a good that I purchased for 6000?” Further they tell me we will inform our senior executive regarding this and you’ll get a call and guess what I haven’t got any call till now. To all the people who think that their stuffs are secure while sending it through porter, please don’t they tell you that they take accountability but they don’t. I have tried to book rental vehicle as for my business for 4hr, 1st driver called me and begged for cancellation from my side due to he’s from far location I canceled it 2nd driver said I won’t come for rental he doesn’t know about rental I will not do 3rd driver said he’s vehicle belt broken 4th driver said he I’ll take 2hr to come if you wish to wait I’ll come.
All those happened and I kept on cancelling them and ordering new vehicle. Then all of a sudden I got suspended from porter saying that I canceled to many times so proter want me to call for every single order before cancelling then tell them the reason then it should be cancelled by there end. I don’t see how i should call for there driver mistake and now I’m there worker as thy asking me why did you cancel the order you should inform, think it’s some stupid made the order of booking system who can suspend customer giving order shame to company like this for making fun of there own customers

Time : 8:30pm- I had to deliver a parcel to a doctor. My family tried with various city courier services. I went to sleep as I had just returned from my overseas tour. I believed that the courier was delivered.
Time 4:30am - I woke up to a message from the doctor that the courier wasn’t delivered last night. I realised that no courier agency had come to pickup the package despite requesting. They had no available pickup boys.
Time: 4:45am - I searched various courier services in Bangalore. My search criteria was “Anytime, anywhere, anyhow”. I found two courier agencies but, again, after registering found that there were no pickup boys.
Then, I found Porter. I had used your service before to shift some luggage. But, never for a small parcel.
I downloaded the app on my iPhone and entered all details.
Time: 5:24am - I was given the courier name Mallikarjuna. I contacted him. Within 8 minutes he arrived and collected the package.
Time 6:14am - Package was delivered.

Having a movers services as handy as Porter, has made luggage movement easier and a lot more convenient. The options of different capacity of vehicles and accordingly the applicable prices is a great option to have. During the loading into truck too, they were careful to pack the sides well so that the items won’t shake and get damaged during transport. I don’t generally give reviews , but u really needed to say this , the app isn’t friendly for people who need labour for loading and unloading. The drivers even on selecting as helper do not load or completely unload. Upon google search I found it is supposed to be giving an option for helper + labour , yet that option is also not available and specifically helpers are not available for vehicles such as EECO. Even if it’s eeco doesn’t mean that the items are going to be light weight and I keep facing this issue. My work is being hampered and failed to find a solution for these issues. Not even a single driver has accepted loading and unloading without a payment extra in cash and this makes the service highly expensive.

I was so moved by No Broker to use them for the packer and mover service, but it was during my final moments I discovered that porter offers the same service. I got on a call with the customer service team , who helped me take my list of belongings and provided me a quote which was almost 35-40% cheaper that the earlier provider. A warning for small business owners: please do not use porter. They will show you an amount before delivery, and will charge you a higher amount later. I had a similar experience- was shown 107, then was charged 167!
When I raised a complain and their team called me, the person was just not willing to listen to my side of the story at all. And when I told her to please never ever market their service to me again, and that I’m going to be uninstalling their app, she said ‘ok’!! Right after the call, I got a message saying porter tried to call me but I was not reachable! Very convenient for her to mark this case as closed!

I have user this app twice to get my electronics at Malad Mumbai, both the time drivers were soft spoken and gentleman, they pickup my fridge and washing machine and delivered at my location without demanding extra money.
App did a great job while booking the tempo and tracking during the delivery, I was able to see tempo image moving on map. First I drop my plan to use this app due to plenty of negative comments but I am happy I taken my decision and used it.

This is the worst service I've ever encountered in my life. First they said they will come at 7 am but turned up at 10:30 am. Second they didn't bring enough packing material and not even enough tapes. We had to buy tapes and give them so that they will seal the packaging. They bought two small autos to shift a 3 bhk house with king size bed, mattress, fridge, dining table, washing machine and other house hold items. We had to provide and supervise the packing as they were not packing anything properly. They didn't pack the dining table and upon insisting that it will get damaged they did it with the material we provided. After multiple type punctures later we reached our new home in the evening. What a nightmare of an experience!! You guys should be ashamed to call yourself a company who promised a good service.

I realised that most people don’t write reviews when they have a good experience. And guessing that’s why there are so many negative reviews.
The driver was very nice. He helped me move my things into and outside the truck and do not complain once. He didn’t even ask for any extra money. He delivered it on time. Even though it was raining after I booked my ride the price didn’t increase.
Overall a very good app!! Would highly recommended if you are like me and don’t like talking to too many people.
