I used the trial period for this app before going for expensive subscription.
While using it through CarPlay, during announcement of any alert, music starts playing on phone instead of car speaker and after it’s finished speaking, music starts playing on car after few seconds.
It is unlike other apps i.e. Google map or Waze where music volume slow down during announcements.
Only reason to buy subscription was support of CarPlay. That’s not working for me either. So cancelled the subscription.

It’s good to know about speed cameras on road and this app is quite useful. It also allows you to map the cameras which are not covered by this app but you are experiencing that on road. All you need to do is just click on the arrow while app is running/ in working… it should be done by co passenger and not by the driver for road safety😊

Also wish you to suggest that the No of non frequent travellers is very huge. So why don’t you offer GOLD PLAN on “24 hrs” or 3 days or for A WEEK basis as per the requirements of the traveller?

I am also comparing this against Gmaps and MapMyindia and it’s same or better in terms of coverage.

When there are unnoticeable cameras the app definitely helps in making the driver aware. Not that speeding is something that I would encourage but the road user should be well aware of the zones so that speeds are controlled. In Kerala especially its like hidden cameras and hidden speed limit sign boards in lot of places including highways, looks like they have made this as a revenue source instead of helping the out of state/city drivers, thats where radarbot is a savior. It’s awesome! I would recommend to all users The map interface is user friendly and the speed of your car is clearly displayed. I believe when there are more users and they interact with the app .. the functionality will increase ten fold. All users should report cameras and speed guns whenever they see one. Perhaps users can get credits for reporting.

This app tells you where speed cameras, police officers, red lights, etc. are. It especially helps in India and gives a lot of information for such places, for example, it’ll tell you how far you are from said camera (in metres), the limit (km/h) and it’ll start making a beep noise for when you get close to said thing as well as that it also gives you the location of thing using Google maps API.
I recommend this app to all drives as it is very-very helpful.
Apple carplay and navigation needs major overhaul

Yesterday I took the 7 day trial to check out carplay and other features. I took the usual route at night where traffic would be less to test everything out.
1. The navigation system is really bad. It suggests routes like not taking the bridge, taking random service roads and it cannot differentiate if you on the flyover or under it. Even waze gave better navigation than this (although it's Google owned).
2. The voice alerts for navigation is equally bad. It goes on and explains the whole route which is weird.
3. It gave timely alerts on the two fixed speed cams that came on the road. But the road speed limits were still not accurate and it showed the same limits as the waze app.
4. The settings are fairly limited. There is no way to can save addresses like home, work etc.
To summarise everything, I think this needs better optimization to justify its high premium tag.

In Indian cities a lot of the speed limits are set at unreasonably low levels. I often come across highway exits where the speed limit abruptly drops from 100 to 20 kph. Some 4 lane highways have limits of 50kph which is plain absurd. This app comes very handy to help you slow down at the right moment to avoid the speed cams.

I have been using this app for few months. I find it useful. I don't think it has a navigation layer available. If it were, then one app would have been self-sufficient. The database is exhaustive, and they update it often. However, I'm noticing glitches in the Bluetooth sound. Often, the sound doesn't appear on the car audio, which is really disturbing. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but anyhow if I can't solve the problem, then I have to look for another one.

It gives clear warning about cameras. I installed it while in India and now i am on a visit to USA where I tried it too successfully.
Perhaps due to absence of users to support, my attempts to add a newly fixed camera (in Anicadu Muvattupuzha Kerala) near my hometown in Kerala was in vain.
Only limitation is that it warns only about fixed cameras.

It could be on cross street, for example, and you have to take a guess, where the camera actually located. I do not want to look at the map, most of the time, I just want to hear audio notifications and I want this notifications warn me on the way I go, not about entire neighborhood.

I am an auto enthusiast who enjoys spirited driving. Hence no surprise when I checked my car for traffic violations I found 6 speeding tickets in the last 6 months! I had heard if radarbot and downloaded the app on my phone. I’ve found it to be very useful in preventing me from going over the speed limit by giving voice notifications of speed cameras and red light cameras which are coming up. I would say that instead of being an app that allows me to bend or break the traffic laws, it actually helps me to comply with them. It’s a win win for everybody.

Prevention is better then cure !!! That applies to our legal system as well, how this is possible for anyone to drive a car at the prescribed speed limits all the time , logically that’s not possible as at what speed you drive your vehicles also depends on the outside conditions like traffic around you , some road repairs happening , accident on road so on and so for. In these scenarios this app inform is well before the time and alerts is to keep a tap on our speed limits and it’s very updated and accurate

Does warn and works well if users update the locations. Having said that, if I do spot a camera that is not showing in the database while driving, I should be allowed to add it easily and then fill in details later when I am parked or back home. To fill in details at the same time as spotting is cumbersome and leads to missing out. Also, reason for leaving feedback here is that the customer service/ feedback button on the app is not working. Other than that keep up the good work

I’ve been a huge fan of this app, cause why not, it not only just tells me that a camera is ahead but dictates that too. But it needs some improvement on the radar system like one moment I am at a point and just another moment I am at another point. It just needs to improve that thing, otherwise it’s great.

This app is the absolute best app when it comes to various alerts and radar detectors, but however i an unable to link the app to google maps (the app when first opened mentions that it can be integrated with any SAT NAV). It would be really great if I get to know how to do it. Thank you!

This is very innovative and useful app, especially in metro cities like Delhi where every corned has speed camera or traffic police standing to check in any violator. It also gives you notification if one goes beyond designated speed limit of that road. I absolutely recommend it.
