While the content is good, the video player is a let down. The player has limited options. Once you get a notification and check that, after you come back to the player the video gets freezed or black. Some teething issues are there with player. Hope you guys resolve that soon.

The application doesn’t work on iPhone 6s Plus. You simply click on play button and it doesn’t work. I have tried sending mail to help care but no reply. [update - 3 aug] support team contacted and asked for video of issue. Did same. Waiting for reply. [update - 22 aug] issue still there. [30 aug] it has been one month there is no update from support. I am not surprised with kind of support you guys do for premium customer like us [29 sept] yet to get response from support team. No wonder Many customers are moving away from VI, including me.-[18 nov] finally I took correct decision by removing application and switching away from VI.

The app has got a decent amount of watchable content, no doubt. Searching for movies is a big task, because it’s not user friendly AT ALL. Overall true app design is very simple, not well designed at all. It looks very old fashioned. The captions and video quality provided are just fine. The app loads all titles along with thumbnails. However, there is a problem with playing voot content as it keeps buffering. I have tried different internet connections and while all content plays smoothly on the app, voot content keeps buffering.

Even after sending repeated emails and informing about the problem with the app neither vodafone nor the app developer seems to be interested in solving the problem. I as a loyal vodafone customer feel cheated for not being able to use the app even when I am eligible to use it.

Bug in claiming ZEE5 subscription offer

I have been trying many times to claim the ZEE5 offer shown inside the app. Each time when I generate OTP, it is generating two codes. And it always tells invalid OTP. And after attempting twice it says max limit reached. So is the intention is to just to show to offer for fancy and not to allow any users to subscribe that ?! Or if there is any other issue, why is no valid error msg thrown instead of misleading by 2 otp each time.

In old app (Vodafone live) there was a option to directly view the contents of ZEE5 app after clicking on premium series it gets navigate to ZEE5 app. Now that option is removed and it is very difficult to find its content and also navigate to ZEE5 app. As it is complimentary with Vodafone the standalone app also not getting open it ask us to open through Vi. There is option available to minimise the current screen which is being played but there no option to close that minimised window. Fast forward n backward option of 20 seconds seems to lengthy it can be reduce to 10 seconds. From last 3-4 days I am experiencing major issue with app. While watching the live show app gets crashed many time.

I had recharged on April 5,2020 for 1 year plan with complementary subscription offer for ZEE5 and Vodafone Play... Before updating this app there was an option to move ZEE5 app and I was able to view all the premium contents .. But now the option is removed and couldn’t able to view premium contents of ZEE5 & if I click any premium contents it’s asking to subscribe.. since the validity of 1 year is not yet completed why I need to subscribe again and I want to know,
1. why the option is removed for ZEE5 subscribed users ?
2. Is there any other option to move ZEE5 app for subscribed users from this Vi App/ View the premium contents of ZEE5 with the current complementary Offer of ZEE5 and Vodafone Play?
3. Why the complementary offer is cancelled for 1 year plan validity ?
4. Why i need to subscribe again for ZEE5?
5. Whether it is properly communicated through message before removing the complementary offer ?

I am stuck with the error of maximum devices being associated with email-id. Although I have uninstalled the app from all my phones and tablets it still gives same error. There is no option to logout. And now that I've switched to a new phone I cannot use this service because of the limit. Customer care is unaware of any procedure to unlink old devices. I was asked to keep using my old device if I wished to use the app. Vodafone has gone down the drain.

It was a fake promise by Vodafone saying will be able to view all Zee5 contents.
Recent movie add of URI and Simbaa were on Vodafone play appvwhich already released on Zee5. But in my Vodafone play app both the movies are not viewable also not even showing in search option.
Zero ratings for doing fake adds to lure customers to download this app.

Now that my complaint was addressed I am very happy with the content . Please note that if the device is changed there is a problem viewing play from the other device, there is a message of the number being associated with 5 devices. Please address the issue and Gine an option of logging off from a device so this problem does not come in the new device

Its a hassle to watch the next episode. Thats annoying as hell!

See u have pretty good content but your app itself isnt smooth.. shouldnt it automatically play the next episode? And next day when u wanna continue watching shouldnt it show the next epside instead of the previous episode that i have already watched. Pls invest in some good app developers!

I just loved to have this which I under estimated by saying that Vodafone play is boring but later on changed my mind by their new platform with all new movies and web series. I just wish best of luck in this competitive market where the competition is tough and should come up with ROAR.

Vodafone app only works to make payments! To claim offers it guides you to Vodafone play app which is the worst app i have ever used as it doesnt allow you to claim offers Seems as if Vodafone doesnt want you to be able to claim by testing ur patience! Pathetic situation If u talk to customer service they guide they cant activate any offer at their end and ask you to do it on Vodafone app a Comical circle!Lodge a complaint and they will get back in 72 hrs !! In this digital age Worse they dont get back Pathetic service just inertia on my part to shift to airtel or jio but will soon

No logout Option and No technical Support

I changed my phone. Now it does not let me login gives an error maximum device reached. But there is no option to logout.
When ever I call for support they ask me to uninstall and install the app again. I have some this over 100 times now still the problem persists. Finally they asked me to go to Vodafone store still no help.
I have the I’m not able to use the app. Please fix it. Have a dedicated support and a logout option.

I am not able to watch the Vodaphone PLAY in my iPhone & Ipad . While opening to watch the movie or any other news channel it’s showing only 5 devices can use the facility of Vodafone play . But iam not using Vodaphone play any other devises , I called to customer care didn’t got any solution. I went Vodaphone store and they are also helpless . Please rectify this problem
Three months before also requested to Vodaphone team but no response from Vodafone. Now also iam not working Vodafone play in my Iphone

This is pathetic app, not able to see any series after the first episode.. poor network quality of vodafone as well makes the picture quality worst even in 4G supernet they claim! After complaining the customer care executive suggested to uninstall and install the app and marked the complaint closed even when I disagreed. Worst ever support. Will leave vodafone soon.

This is the first time I downloaded Vodafone play in my long association with Vodafone. In first few seconds I could conclud that that app is useless. I cannot play even a single video on the app. As soon as I click play button on a video, a loading marker appears and then the play button appears again. I even tried pressing play multiple times, but no success. Tried reinstalling the app with no success again. Neither any past videos nor any live channel plays on the app. Only appropriate word I have for the app is useless.

Removed the english series

I would’ve given it one star if the quality(hd) of the series would’ve been compromised. But since the quality is good the only problem is with the removal of english series. It already had a very few english series. Please try to add them all back it’s a humble request or else i’ll have to deactivate the sim and opt for a better card with better affiliations

I am using this App since long and I am expecting that when we are getting any updates it has to be more improved but here its not the case its not even resolved few issues with the player that automatically restart any video from starting if you can close app due to other calls or messages check.
Actually my main issue is not this but few days ago but suddenly App has stoped to show me Episode in web series and to be more technical specification it gives me gray screen when I tried to choose any episode from any web series.
After many complaints to customer support still its not getting resolved and they closed my complain and mark as resolved. So I dont know how they called them so professional that they dont listen and do what they want to do.
Poor I dont expect this from vodafone.

Usually an update means the bugs are fixed and the app is better. But from today evening after I updated this app all I’m able to do is open it only to see it automatically close after exactly 15 seconds. Another thing is many videos and new episodes of TV Shows aren’t playing. The reason behind it is also not given. They boast themselves that they upload new episodes of famous US TV shows like “Arrow” and “The Flash” within 24 hours of airing in USA but it has been 2 weeks since an episode has come and yet here it isn’t there.

Chromecast support is a great plus but no subtitles support

I love that you have added Chromecast support to your app. Its a definite plus over other similar apps. However, it definitely lacks the support of subtitles in English TV shows and movies. This is such a basic feature which is missing. Thats why I’m not giving the app 5 stars.

One of the most poor apps I came across. It’s rating says it all. They have uploaded lot of series and serials here, however, you can’t watch any till the last. After couple of episodes it won’t continue. The people working for this app kind of least bothered coz they won’t listen anything and if they listen they won’t action on it. Highly recommended not to download this app. Even the picture quality of news channels is below average. Better to download Hotstar and other app. This is only waste of your time, effort and money.

Movies download option is not available in iPhone . Movie should resume from the point where it was last ended . Trailer option to be provided. Also if Vodafone play to be successful should provide option for viewing earlier programmes for last 07 days at least. After all a good initiative from Vodafone.

Movies dont load fast enough.. At 4G u dont even feel a 2G speed.
Stops playing abruptly and it wont even start again unless u exit out. I m finally giving up on this app.

I got a message with free 3G data with a link, I clicked the link to get free data which directed me to the App Store to install this app. I installed the app but believe me no 3G data nothing, the same thing I experienced with the Vodaphne app too!!!! Please don't try your cheap business tricks with the loyal oldest Customers!!!! Zero star rating
