Long story short, the game gimps you from progressing unless you throw money at it or wait a really, really long time to gather the resources for upgrades at normal speeds.

I just unlocked Region 3 and the game won’t let me play any of the maps unless I sink days into upgrading my guns (without speeding up resource generation by paying money) or by purchasing new cash shop guns to bypass the game’s imposed gun level requirement.

If this is the case so early into the game, I don’t even want to see what it will be like later on. This is not a Pay to Save time type of game, but a Pay to Win (PvE & duh PvP is total cash shopper paradise) and Pay to Progress nickel and dime ripoff.
