They charged membership cost 175₹ without informing , when asked with customer care they say they had sent app notification which wasn’t received at all. Also they should send via email or sms or automated phone call . Also customer care agent says they will inform correctly next time in future which is such a lame response instead talking about resolving current issue or providing refund. Better to switch to another vendor

They have worst resolution team . for example: I raised incident and shared the picture . After 24 hours , they come back and said the pic is not clear share it again . Do you really think that consumer keep stale food for more than a day in his house just to respond you in case pic is not clear . This is frustrating . Also . I have been buying from Milkbasket for more than a year now.I switched from BBDaily to Milkbasket for their free delivery. The products are delivered fresh and neatly packaged and delivered on time. So far no complaints. Sudden this month they have deducted 175 rs from my wallet without any notification as membership fee. It’s too high an amount compared to BBDaily which charge only 2 rs per delivery. Not happy with this change and that too without warning. Even if they charge for delivery it should be no more than 100rs per month. They should have some consideration for the customers.

The membership fee of INR 175.82 (this includes 18% GST) is way too much. Amazon fresh delivers orders above 249 for free within 2 hours. Then, why would I use Milkbasket to order grocery when I get the next day, and delivery charges are waived off for orders above 400.
Either they have got a good customer case and now they only care about profits, or they are incurring some serious losses due to doorstep delivery. It is a slippery path anyway!

They have this so called ‘membership fees’ of inr 155 for 30 days (seriously!!???). And it’s compulsory to pay, but you won’t get any additional service or discount for that. So once you load money in Milkbasket wallet, they deduct one 155 straight and keep on doing it after each 30 days. Whereas, there are other service providers providing the exact same service without any cost, like FTH Daily, BBDaily ( they charge inr 2 as delivery charge) etc. so I am not sure how this Milkbasket is going to survive in market, but I am opting out.

The service is good. It’s timely. A good assortment of items is there on the platform. But, everything is good until you have hit a snug. Then there’s no one to help. Only way to reach the customer-service is chat. And people on chat don’t know how to handle most of the issues. You will keep explaining the issues and they will keep responding with the scripted replies.
Recently, the app stopped taking orders. It’s not allowing me to add any new item. I have been reaching out to the CC but to no avail.
I like the service but I dread of any bug in the app because I know there won’t be anyone to help.

I downloaded the app and it asked me for address I chose “current location” but can’t go to the next stage which is filling your door number etc. It got stuck there and actually to be precise no option to move to the next stage unless you select your community in the drop down section. But my community is not listed in there now how do I proceed further? I really want to use this app and I hope my furiousness is understood. Would be happy if these basic issues are not faced.

I am writing this review after a terrible experience with this app and it’s services.
People don’t know what are their limitations and capacity to deliver.
Customer service is having no idea what they are talking about. Never lasting waiting for the chat responses and finally no resolution.
I didn’t get any product or satisfactory answer for not delivering after accepting the order.
I lost my 650 recharge and they don’t have the idea that if they even processed the refund and to which account.
I have deleted the app after 1 month of long follow up for my order or refund. I am never going to download or recommend this app to any of my known ones.
May god bless the ones who are using this or planning to use this in future.

They force you to load a minimum of 500 rupees to the Milkbasket wallet if you want to place an order. And at the end, when you are left with small amount like 15-20 rupees which is not sufficient to buy anything, that money is stuck. They do not refund it no matter how much you request a refund. And they do not allow you to add smaller amount to the wallet to complete an order. Minimum wallet top-up is Rs.500. Such a scam way to make money. Whatever 1-2% you save on orders through discounts is lost because of this wallet scam.

It's even groceries, general goods, other daily use items etc. The prices are definitely the cheapest across the range even when compared to other popular stores in the vicinity. The quality is good. Timelines of delivery are extremely pleasing. There is no need to check out which means that you keep adding things to basket as you remember and all the items will be delivered by next morning around 6 am. Absolutely amazing experience. I am really impressed with the service provided by Milkbasket. Milk and other essential items are delivered right on time. Except few instances they haven’t missed any delivery. Vegetables and fruits are very fresh, looks like brought right from farms.
Only concern is, to avoid using plastic covers for daily delivery and need to look at providing some Credit/Debit card offers to HDFC, Icici, Citi etc.. right now it’s very limited to 1-2. Please look into it. Otherwise all good. Keep doing the same great job 👍🏻

I was a loyal bbdaily customer until they started to mess up deliveries and switched to Milkbasket on recommendation of a friend. There’s been no looking back since. Greatly appreciate the reliable service, with deliveries early in the morning. Of late quality of vegetables including leafy greens has been good and it’s nice to see this efforts in continuous improvement
Only feedback I would have is to probably reduce the dependence on plastic packaging and allow customers a choice to have a delivery without the blue plastic bags and put directly into a bag we leave at our door.

Secondly everything comes in good plastic bag and I do return them back via recycle option. If i compare milk basket with other grocery delivery platforms, its better in all area.
Better app experience, better pricing, better options of milk products, better veg & fruits catalogue. And lastly what makes it unique is ordering at very last moment (before midnight) to get items next day with milk delivery.
One issue occasionally i feel is - quality of veg & fruits are compromised at times. However i would still rate it higher then other platforms.

I have very bad experience today and chat was crashed multiple times and need to wait for a long time and in same chat I need to explain the issue again and again
Seams Milk basket is receiving huge complaints and become busy
Last time when I raised a complaint , they took very seriously and even they called me about the complaint. Now a days not even bothering and no customer care service with voice .
It’s almost 30+ min after entering on to chat , still no reply . The huge advantage is they are not showing timing in chat messages even if I take a screenshot to know the waiting period for response .
I hope it’s time to close the milkbasket and switch to big basket.

They are fast going down the drain

They “were” good. But now, they have major app issues.
They are BAD if you have iOS. Specially after 16.2 version there developers have went on leave and app is running on god’s will.
Everything on the app is bland. If you go to see your order for rest of the month, the product pictures aren’t available, the quantity is showing blank. I wish I could add screenshots to this review.
Another issue. You search for any product and if you try to add it to your next day cart, it shows not available, literally. I’m writing this review in frustration at 11:50 pm as this is the reason why I opted for them to order last minute things only to find that everything is unavailable!! Plus if it’s unavailable tell on the face of it, not when anyone tries to add to the cart.

I am not able to enter the address or location manually and my society name is not getting in the list. Bunch of thugs looting money in name of subscription

My balance was 20 and I started milk subscription. I was going out of town so didn’t remove the subscription knowing that since balance is less, they won’t deliver anything.
But these thugs started membership charges without confirming with me when I subscribed the item. Plus they delivered milk worth 31. I got to know when I received message saying your balance is negative. WTH! Who does it? Then I complained to customer care, they resolved nothing. Again they delivered item next day too! Making my balance more negative around -200.
When asked why? They are like you are special member!!! It’s laughable how these thugs cheat in name of subscription! I haven’t paid anything to them yet and I hope I don’t have to. Don’t know to what length these people will go. Fingers crossed.

I moved from BBDaily to this app and continued to use this for the quality and packaging. However recently I’m planning on a holiday and paused my subscription for a month. By accident and set the resume date incorrect. I was confident since my top up balance is low, I wouldn’t get charged for any accidental orders. God I’m wrong. Not only they renewed my subscription for a single item, the renewed my subscription just for that single subscription and made my balance low. I tried to talk with the customer care, but they are slower than a sloth in the wild. They wouldn’t listen/read my questions keep copy pasting blind responses. I’m uninstalling the app right now.

This is probably one of the worst app and cunning e-com I came across these days. Not even close to the standard of the small timer local daily grocessory guys.
1-They ask you to load money first to the wallet to place order and you wait for the delivery next day
2- In the night you get a message - the order is cancelled and money credited to the wallet and it parks there
3- Next day you do same- it happens same
So they keep doinng it for few days so that you request them to revese the funds .
And they reply - it will be done in next 20 days.
Bottom line- they use your money for 30 days and return it to you.
Why should you try these guys when you have other smart , friendly operators like big basket, groffers, blinkit and many more available.
Dnt go for it and dnt even try..

This app takes the cake for the worst customer service out of any other apps. The chat with us function doesn’t even work half the time. When it does work once in a blue moon, the responses are so absurd that I’m left wondering if I’m talking to a human or a bot. Their fruits selection is also pretty bad especially their watermelons. Please tell me have you ever had watermelons that don’t just taste sweet but also taste sour? If you haven’t had that unique experience then order a watermelon from this app and you’ll get that. Other fruits are also not good. Bananas are always over riped. Very disappointed that a similar app called supr was recently shut down. They had very good customer service as well as good quality fruits.

They do not deliver to my location just because it’s not a gated community but a standalone apartment. They deliver to all locations in my township which is by the way not even half kilometre far from mine. They say it’s not serviceable. The address section is limited to certain apartments and people don’t have a choice to add a new apartment. The customer has to select from the list given or else just remove app. Spoke to customer support and they just said that they will talk to higher authorities.

Guys please stop ordering milk from Milkbasket. They’ll delivery you the same day expiry milk packets. Usually the fresh milk have one day plus as expiration date. When I raised this concern to their team they were happy to discontinue my services. I used to get same messages/mails from them that they have forwarded the concern to their respective department. But they’ll not come up with a solution. Instead of delivering the fresh milk packets they’re okay to refund your money but not okay to actually work on this problem.
Please don’t go for their packaging. Please check the expiration date of every product that you are ordering specially the milk.

It is really frustrating chatting with customer care. Once they will connect he’ll lot of time and then they will keep responding predefined message without reading your issue. You will get irritated chatting with them and at the end you may close the chat without resolution. They sent item in blue polybag which is supposed to recycled by them. But even if you opted that option from their app no one will pick that bag and at the end you need to throw. My society are very stuck to pick any kind of poly bag and hence I ended up dumping those bag myself. Time to move out from MilkBasket. Though name is milk basket but they promoting all other item than milk. They don’t even have 1liter pack of milk.

Everything they shows on ads is fake.
