Dear traders, angel one is a blood sucking company who don’t bother to help its customers. I am professor of finance being always busy with academia and lecturing, so cannot track markets and various news. So requested angel support time and again to make my connect with some researcher to bridge this gap between academia and practicality of the market, but they never bothered to offer the hand. Even they don’t bother about social responsibility and Philip kotlers definition that customer is king. my recommendation is to not open or trade with selfish company. The way my account Z4183 is bleeding, the angel one to bleed in the form of loss of every single customer. I am using this app since couple of months and started trading in options. I could not see any basket order feature in this app as well as in web version. Where as zerodha, fyers are giving this option. Basket order is useful for options traders to reduce the margin required for trading. I tried using Sensibull as well, it is asking for subscription. I don’t want to take the subscription in Sensibull for the only purpose to place the basket order. You will loose the trader in long way if we don’t have basket order feature.

In Sep-2022 due to there technical issues I got loss of 1 Lakh in F&O. App didn’t support properly placed order and it crossed the rate at which my order was placed and did not credit to my account for long time I tried cancel order and it did not took cancel order also. When I call customer care waited more than 2 hours my waiting number was 350+ after 2 hours of waiting also just repeating my waiting number 5-10 but call never connected. Later in evening I called and spoke they said it is happened to everyone they can’t do anything your loss they can’t do anything if you want you continue or leave it. Today I am seeing my F&O positions are not reflecting in my portfolio. Sometimes funds do not reflect properly and sometimes positions doesn’t reflect. Please have a knowledgeable customer care representative. Over all service & app I am not happy.

Login option changed from client id to phone num not showing my portfolio

I don’t know what is the problem, today when I opened the angle one on IOS, it didn’t have the option to login with client id any more. Instead it is asking me to login with phone number and OTP. I did that and I found it is not showing my portfolio, it is asking me to add fund. I immediately logged in to angle one from computer using client id, that worked and i can see the phone number is upto date and the portfolio is showing up. For second it gave me a heart attack. Can you fix your app on IOS?
I need to use it in my mobile. Map my profile with my phone number and if I login using the phone number, it should show the details of the portfolio. I am stuck now…

Beautification of app killed its functionalities

Since this new beautified version of app is launched.. app loses all of its functionalities and simplicity .. for seeing day’s high low from portfolio is a tedious task, i need to take 2-3 steps to get that. For knowing upper circuit and lower circuit i need to take 2-3 steps, most important part of any investor is to see their portfolio, which is hidden when you click on portfolio tab on the bottom you wont see portfolio you see current orders and their positions you have to take one more step to press portfolio from the top to see your portfolio from the tab which literally says portfolio.
Please tell me what is the use of first tab you call as home, it has useless information which can be put in a menu.
IPO section is a mess now, i cant see which IPO is upcoming, every-time I press ipo button its says coming soon. What the hell is this.
ALL THE USELESS INFORMATION ARE PUT IN THE FRONT FOR AN INVESTOR AND ALL THE VITAL INFORMATION FOR AN INVESTOR ARE HIDDEN OS IT WILL TAKES 2-3 STEPS. EVEN PLACING ORDERS ARE A TEDIOUS TASK NOW.

Downloaded it and all of a sudden started to receive unprofessional calls from them their statements are like paise dal lo fir wallet se, morning evening kr liya kya as if some close friend is asking they forced me to upload documents to begin demat account after uploading half of docs my logical reasoning helped me deny them access i told them I am no longer interested please delete my documents now they are refusing that they will not delete em, that gave me a surety they are eventually frauds they will invest your money without permission to their collaborative cheap stocks and force you to pay brokerage on the top of loss and harass you with misuse of your KYC, documents etc

Bug regarding MPIN

I want to report a bug I encountered in my Iphone 13 regarding MPIN and Face-ID The app says you have entered an incorrect Mpin, though I am entering the correct one. Inspite of the faulty error mentioned above it makes you log in when you exit the app and restart again. So there are 2 bugs here 1. Popping the message of incorrect MPIN on entering the correct one 2. If the MPIN in case 1. Is incorrect why does the app log you in? I have even tried changing the MPIN and still the problem is the same. The problem worsens with face ID, even for the faceid it says incorrect MPIN and blocks your account after 5 attempts By using the MPIN route you are atleast allowed to login inspite of the faulty error message popping up and then you are good for the day. You again have to enter the MPIN next day. But with the faceid thing your account is locked and you need to change the MPIN. While changing it says you are not allowed to enter the current MPIN. So if my current MPIN is correct why do you not log me in. Please resolve the issue at your earliest. I cannot be changing the MPIN daily and then remember the correct MPIN. P.S: It used to work absolutely fine on iphone 6

Angel team has put their best efforts so far for being transparent & detailing. Competitiveness is their core strength. Fund withdrawal process can be improved & there best practices available in market with some leading Broking houses for both cases like in regular & MTF position settlement. App is good but interface could have been better & outperform others with certain features like if any one wants to buy any share of their choice Angel can prompt some fundamental alerts from their research database & provide alternatives. Providing features like allocation % of their total portfolio valuation. Classification of shares w.r.t upward & downward trajectory. Angel smart app need significant improvement & not at all user friendly as one has to log in log out frequently. Keep up the good job!!

Wrong chart data

I am trading intraday nifty future by observing live chart data since last 15 years. Previously when Angel speed pro software was in force the live chart data was correctly appearing on the desktop screen. But since the Angel One is introduced the live data of volume comes wrong. I mean when we start the program upto that time live data is correct but as the time increases the volume data shows wrong. This is also observed on mobile screen.

Firstly when I’m trying to call your customer care it takes too much time to connect the call, after connecting the call no one can give the proper solution of queries and they said wait sir I’ll transfer your call in currency department, after transferring 3-4 times they said you will get a call within 5-10mins…..but 5-10 mins, no one can call even after 5-10 days….application is also worst….also the customer execute have lack of knowledge….. I think you guys are thinking every customer as a fool…..like that whatever you keep doing with customers but the customer will not be able to do anything ….. no worries I’ll file a case against you then you guys do give the proper response I guess…..

Guy’s let me briefly explain the stuff about Angel Broking.
These guys are big scammers and very unprofessionals.
They will trick you with your money (that you’ll add from your bank account to their wallet for purchasing shares)
They have this margin thing and they will put your amount in Negative even after you will purchase the shares from your own money. Then next time whenever you will add money to purchase new shares they will put that money hold for decades and when you will contact their customer support they will just simply drop your calls while you’re talking and explaining the issue. It happened 4-5 times with me now in a row and I am done with them.
They’ll first charge you monthly maintenance fee and then every time you sell your shares they’ll charge you again and after all of these they’ll provide this kind of pathetic service.
I AM CLOSING MY ACCOUNT WITH THEM AND MOVING FORWARD WITH KITE APP THAT IS FAR BETTER THAN THESE SCAMMERS.
Be aware guys and don’t put your money at risk with these scammers.

Some ppl who suddenly wants to withdraw money from wallet to account at the holiday days have to face lots of problem nd i feel that angel one intently do that because adding funds are very easy in this wallet, and the unsettled balance will not be cleared if its a weekend on the t+2 days basics, in-fact the app will not be working some time and if its on the market time then ill be screwed, if ur clear with the no of customers that are trading on this app then why this confusion?
Angel team pls go through this loop holes and correct them otherwise u may loose some customers.

The nifty and bank nifty price doesn’t update realtime

This app is a total waste, the UI is again crapy.
The price doesn’t update realtime though I have a good internet, while the prices in the other broker appears different.
While placing the order it appears different and once order executed it shows a different price.
Example I tried to buy a BNF while the price was at 239 and until I bought the price wasn’t updated, after the buy was executed the price dropped to 179, which it happened even before I bought but the app wasn’t getting updated.
While selling as well it did the same, I assumed that I’m placing the sell order at 179 but price had dropped to 149, again the price was not updated realtime. Because of the app I lost 2k.

i feel that i m cheated by your wellknown Angel One. because i started investing after activation of my client account M9567. and after this i bought shares through app and also started sip. and also sip amount debited from my bank account. i ask about cusa account of your as i find that my shares is not credited in cdsl account, i get reply from customer care that your account is ok and you can continue to sell or buy shares through app. now you suspended my account. now how i sell my shares or get my money back. i asked many times about dmat account and i was replied everything is okay. i feel that i m very stupid that i came back to your brokerage house after so many years. i have account with zaveri and my wife has account in iifl. now pls tell me how i sell my stocks and strop sip as my account is deactivated. i want to migrate to another brokerage house.

I am writing this review now but the problem in this app started somewhere 1-2 months ago i was just waiting in hope that it will be taken care from the team but still the problem is going on . Some of the problems are 1) While login it prompts no data found 2) while placing order it is misbehaving Due to this issue i have to click many times on buy/ sell to proceed 3) sometimes despite a good amount of fund It shows fund shortfall while placing order It’s very much irritating when you trying to buy/sell but you can’t proceed with the order due to the technical problem in the trading app

I have been a user of the application for last 3 years. But from past 1 year I have been facing lots of issues. First the application keeps on crashing and you can’t reach the customer care even if you try to email them their site gets crash and their AI platform also doesn’t respond. Second the numbers provided in their contact us section are outdated. The company doesn’t care about small investors. Even the person who will be dealing with your demat doesn’t care to pick your calls or revert back. I am trying to transfer my share from this company to another’s.

But the app UI feels kind of old to me after using Kite and Paytm Money but it feels professional at the same time

You had the worst app and top of that your team is also too worst. Your so called support team is not able to provide any resolution of customer queries and every time just giving a bogus reply. When i wanted to escalate the issues, your team is not providing the escalation matrix but simply putting blame on other department. Your executives are telling lie even they are projected themselves as AVP of the company and assured that they will resolve the issue and comeback but they never comeback and if they responded on mail it looks like they are just a junior level employee. No transparency is there in your system.
Will recommend everyone not to use ANGEL BROKING.

I am a customer with them from last 4 years. There app has frequent technical issues. Lot of times when there are good opportunities there app gives technical problems and you will not be able to trade. Again the worst part is you keep calling all their customer support numbers and nobody will respond you.
They are a huge company just to say and they have no standards of customer support.
Imagine you have stocks in your portfolio, market is falling and you can’t see your stocks. You have some sure shot trades setup for the day and you can’t trade due to their technical issues. This has happened to me 5 times till date and once I even lost big money because of that.
Nobody will respond you when there is a problem.
I suggest please don’t open an account with them instead go with other platforms, I understand everyone has technical problems but atleast on other platforms someone will provide you with support and answer your questions.

I recently updated the app from the app store and I have the latest version of this app i.e. 35.0.2. When trying to login, the app shows me a overlay stating that : A new version is available to be updated . There only I can see that - Current version: 35.0.2 New version: 35.0.2 Both the versions are same. On the overlay, I can see 2 buttons i.e. Exit and Update. On clicking Update, it redirects me to app store where I don't see any updates available and open option available. On clicking Open, it redirects me to the same overlay again. This is very frustrating and I feel like getting stuck in an infinite loop which is not ending. I can't check my holdings neither I can perform any operations. Developer should atleast check this issue and fix it.

I started my career as a Stocks broker and respected Angel Broking as a service oriented company. DISAPPOINTED I am having account with Angel for some time now, extremely poor service, no response on phone calls most of the time. Junior executives are not trained, unfit and unprofessional. Seniors are unreachable and hiding as they know their service is poor and they cannot face customers. Top and middle Managent are cowards as they hide and don’t face customers. Review about the App. - Crashes often - Portfolio viewing temple changes often - Cannot sort or filter “Daily G/L” - Hangs many times and at Tim port any trade times. Frozen app and Poor experience while withdrawing money

Worst experience. I had open options positions and I wanted to exit those but this platform froze whenever I place square off order. Due to which I had to take more losses than planned.
Don’t rely on angel broking if you want to withdraw money urgently. I sent withdrawal request of 1lakh in the morning 7AM and they said it will be complete by 7PM in the evening. What they did was they only approved 32thousand and rest they sent into pending state. On calling relationship manager, she gave false promises that you will get the money today only buy It didn’t happen. I would suggest you to use leading broker and not trust these cheap brokers.

I’m with Angel broking since 2014 and very happy with their service and research. They do have lot of new apps integrated for traders as well as investors.
You get all the details you need to trade. They can certainly work on populating the fundamental details for all the stocks. In some stocks not all details are available. I certainly feel it is easy to use app compared to other broker app which I have.
Angel’s support also promptly resolves all your doubts to satisfaction.

The most recent update (as of July 7, 2021) has absolutely ruined the app. The P&L does not load. The portfolio keeps showing no data.
And worst of all, I have to enter my password, the MPIN, and then verify the touchID - all at once, EVERY SINGLE TIME! I understand security and all, but this is just senseless and annoying. I want to see if my order has been executed after a while, I have to repeat the process every time!
No easy way to see if any of your holding companies have released dividends. The ARQ and research calls are useless. Very few research calls, compared to other brokers like axis, Religare etc. And no I’m-depth analysis of any calls.
Checking IPO order status is a nightmare on the app. Takes forever to load, if at all.
And the new portfolio layout is poorly done. They’ve just tried to cram too much data all at once into a mobile screen.
I hope these things can improve. Changing a broker just because of the app being stupid is quite a pain!!

Recently on Sunday, full day the app was out of order and was not showing prices and charts. I did update my app from the app store but nothing changed. Today on Tuesday morning, app is not working. It automatically closes down once I open it. Many times this problems have occurred but I was neglecting it with a thought that it must be some technical issues and it will be fixed very soon. But it has become regular. Some months back I used to suggest my friends to open account in angel, someone who have opened it are not satisfied and are cursing me for the same. Now I have stopped referring it to anyone.

I am using angel broking since 2019 as my primary broker. I am more into investing more than day trading. My views regarding the broker and the application are as follows
Pros: Excellent mobile app and website Very easy to use Transferring funds are quick and simple I have seen people complaining about customer support. If you open a direct account I agree there are customer support issues but if you have a genuine sub broker I guess this issue doesn’t come into play.
Cons: I haven’t found much problem regarding the mobile app to point anything specific. Trading terminal for angel is only supported in Windows. Angel team really need to look into this and provide apple support too at the earliest.

I have been using the app for 1 year. During the time I have lost lot of money just because there app had technical issue and I can’t log into my account to close the trade. They don’t understand there problems not only cause inconvenience for the customers, but reality customers LOSE MONEY.. you call to complain and what you get in return is bad customer Serive. They say email me the list and we will compensate, but in the history of angle Broking it never happened. Lot of my friends had same issue and all have moved to other brokers for daily trade.

When you place and option(buy or put) order, for the same day it shows you what exactly ks gain/loss and average price of that order. From next day it zeroes the order price and even though you are lossing, it shows your total value of the order as “gain”. You yourself actually have to remember the money you invested and at what price.
That is actually very frustrating. App should show order price, and exact gain/loss amount untill the order os squared.

1. Can we please get bulk Square off option in application similar to web based ui.
2. Need multiple login support. I use both mobile and laptop simultaneously. It remains login in single device. It is very inconvenient for option trading.
3. Please work on web based ui. It is very slow and laggy. Affect the bulk order square off feature. It causes loss many times. It literally hang many times.
Many of the users might be facing similar issues. It could be the reason to switch to other platforms.

at market rate, so please ask them for a copy of
the ledger. Angel broking will have to
compensate.

U will lost your money in this app . This app charges High Brokerage per lot you purchase while other apps charges brokerage on your trade . Like if you buy one lot they will charge you 20,40,60,80 Rs as per your plan ,, so if you buy 4 lots then u have to pay 20^4 =Rs 80 and Rs 80 when u sell them Total is 160 for just one trade . On other hand other apps don’t charge for per lot they charge for one trade , like i you buy same 4lots of any share they will just charge 20rs . You can buy as many lots as you want on other apps for just 20rs .. if you buy 50 lots through Angel Broking they will charge you 1,000Rs for one trade while on other apps they will charge only 20Rs for 50 lots. First day i made a profit of 1,300rs but my brokerage was too high around 1,500rs so i had to pay them money from my own pocket after earning profit . Next day i made a profit of 2,100 Rs and again they charged me 2,300Rs brokerage and i had to pay them again from my own pocket after earning profit . Pls don’t trade through this app , u will lose your money .

I have been using angel app for over an year now and UI of the app is very good if you compare to other brokers ,everything is designed beautifully.
Although sometimes app is unresponsive during peak hours. I am unable to login during morning sessions sometimes. It seems servers are not responsive at all and I tend to miss critical trades.
Little work on this can get the app to be best in business.

I wrote first time in life any review on App Store about what I felt about angel just 3-4 days ago. And today I got call from angel team, the person asked me how’s my trading going on ? I replied it was never good and now this week I got problem with my position and about it’s automatic squareoff. So this guy from angel team, he started “ why don’t you buy angel platinum service (as I am very fool and I can’t do basic trading). I heard him very carefully and then I tried to ask my doubt and tried to give my feedback about what changes should angel team think about. So instead of accepting the feedback he said “ you are not able to understand me, I will transfer you to customer service but tell me first you wanna buy platinum service”. And he sounded very RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. I was like seriously dude. I am already fed up with your app crash and stupid rules and you want me to pay for platinum service. So as per my experience with angel so far. Please stay away from this app. And team angel, I never expected such kind of customer service at all. Better close your company and stop looting small investors.

Security issue- App showing logged into another account

Since tomorrow whenever I am opening the app it is always showing that my account is already logged into another account. Since tomorrow I have changed my password 10 times as well as my Mpin but every time I am opening the app it is showing same pop-up every time. I am feeling so much stressed since yesterday because every time it is showing same . Last week also same thing happened twice but I ignored. But since last two days I am feeling unsecured because that pop-up indicate someone else is using my account or I don’t know if that is a technical glitch because that often happens.

Earlier it was good but now one of the worst trading app I ever used. App frequently crashing. Portfolio not displays many time, Even customer service is also not good.
Login with MPIN and touch Id functionality is not working in my device.
I am trying to transfer my holding to my other DP but Online DIS functionality in not working in web portal. Call more than 10 time and mailed 2-3 time with screenshots to customers support but not yet any response. On call everyone says try one again now but i am still getting same issue. If is there any technical issue with your app then you should take it off line. Very disappointed with Angel broking service.

Dear All,
I would humbly request you not to use this app or angle Broking at all for that matter. I’ll try to keep my frustration brief:
1) The owners office is right opposite to my office in andheri and drives a fancy Lamborghini. I wish he would spend that money on quality customer support.
2) If you are trading in Futures and Options, it is so complicated and the agent themselves recommends using the website as the app is not good. I couldn’t set stop loss and have lost hell lot of money for that.
3) Withdrawing funds, my own funds is not possible as the keyboard doesn’t pops up to type the amount.
4) You RM is least bothered and will never call you, actually I don’t even know who my RM is.
5) When you call the board line, they don’t know who do they have to connect the phone to.
6) There is no update on the app. It’s like once in a blue moon.
7) The moment you turn on the notification, they start begging to you for more referrals so that they can give you 500 rupees and in return make your friends or referrals loose money and give these kind of frustration.
Sir! I’ll donate 500, request you not to buy a new Lamborghini rather spend that on quality reps and effective application.

The app was great before the update, I updated the app few days ago and it asked me to change the password so many times and still showed incorrect password!!
Also there are a lot of glitches and doesn’t show the gain and loss count accurately.
People like me invest money here and I faced a lot of problems because it always asked me to change password again and again and missed a a lot of opportunities due to this. Please fix this asap!

Rude and disrespectful behaviour from customer support. Positions has been squared off automatically. When tried to call and complaint about the same there is no proper response from the team. When calling from south region the call gets connected to Gujarat and Bombay and they keep on transferring the calls for local server which never connects. And for each and every time for every executive you have to introduce yourself with you all the security questions and after explaining the problem they will simply say that they couldn’t able to see your screen and put you on hold to transfer for another executive and the whole cycle repeats. I’m on hold for more than 45mins my issue has not been escalated still.

Some times their app don’t work properly. Whenever there is emergency suddenly they ask for Tpin. And 9 to 9:07 if you need to changes in pending order then it shows forwarded order and you are unable to do anything (but in others app you can do)
Updated services
Nowadays we can sell our shares in bse n nse doesn’t matter where you have bought but in this you are unable to do you can buy but sometimes it shows shortfall amount when you try to sell in bse.
Buy yes in bse you can buy and they will add your share in nse in portfolio and you have to understand manually your margin in others brokers they add shares in portfolio which is higher doesn’t matter is this bse or nse .
Just because of it I have stopped here tradings and moved in Kite Zerodha.

No service after account is open. I have noticed 3 different numbers for same period through P&L summary - All, P&L summary - F&O and Trade summary, ideally this should show same numbers for same period, however I got 3 different number that are no where close to each other. I have sent an email to support with all evidences on 11-Apr, though it has a serious issue, no one seems to be working on it
For every interface (Mobile, Web & desktop) user needs to create the watch list as synchronization does not work (it is basic feature)
Your order keep getting rejected without showing you reason like margin requirement as needed. One need to call however it is time consuming process.

The overall service except the online part is decent. I got enough help from the RM as well but the main issue is I cannot add money to my find whenever required and which is one of most crucial things in this kind of applications. The payment servers are always down for net banking. The UPI method is never enabled properly. I tried with other trading applications at the same time and could add money without any issue but for this is always an issue. You better fix this thing otherwise giving other services will have no meaning if someone cannot add to fund.

Please don’t install the Angel broking application. As they lies they will pick-your call respond over mail only till you have put some money in the Demat account.
They are cheaters. I have sent mail with 4-5 query on there support id a week ago but haven’t get any response from them, now I am sending them daily reminder on the same but still not getting any revert.
on phone call they disconnect the call once you ask too many questions, and talk like hell. Even Today they are not picking up the calls.
Worst worst experience ever.
Now they will revert here as please give us your details to help you in this regards.
But even after that they will do nothing except showing their user that we replied to our customer.
Please please do not install this application as too many options available in the market.

Guys, I appreciate the work done to stabilise and improve the app’s performance. However, I noticed in the latest update you have removed the option to view historical transactions after clicking on a scrip within the ‘Portfolio‘. Now clicking on a scrip gives options similar to the ‘Holdings’ menu (buy sell other). I would appreciate if you can restore the original functionality as it helped in quickly reviewing my last purchase/sale of the scrip. Secondly, could you please enforce a default rule to sort all scrips as per name in the Portfolio and Holdings section. Thank you.

Nor Angel Broking alone, total of all Indian Brokers aren’t capable service providers. What they provide is cheap and worst platforms. Please do try some demo accounts with international brokers. You will realise that what is trading platforms and their service. These Indian Broking offices are just to pull people who have average or less than that knowledge about online trading, middle class and lower middle classes. This is the single most core reason for most of the people couldn’t make money. So scared to provide great tools, platforms and complete education about them. You will be out of online trading if you don’t have enough capital when you go by this trial and error method. Indian online trade will never grow if it’s not going to upgrade it and provide fair services to all the participants.
