Doesn’t meet the expectations
Like before no sayar list this is too much disappointing, no ipad version of app , it seems like devloper want to make it like instagram where shorts run. This time this app doesn’t connect the reader with rekhta spirit.pls make sure that reader have option to select poets from list as it will give access to readers to explore deep in poetry. Personalised home page limit the reader to a few poets which is injustice to the Rekhta contributors.

I have been a loyal reader on Rekhta for a long time, but the new update with the scroll-type layout is very disappointing. The old style was simple, elegant, and much easier to navigate. This new "feed" style feels cluttered and makes it harder to find the specific poets and ghazals I love.
My Request to the Developers:
1. Please bring back the Old Classic Style as the default.
2. If you want to keep the new scroll layout, please give us a "Classic Mode" toggle in the settings so we can choose the layout we prefer.
The old tab system was perfect for a serious reader. If the UI stays this chaotic, I’m afraid you will lose many long-time readers like me. Please listen to your community!

Merge Rekhta Dictionary Fully into Rekhta App
Great app with amazing Urdu poetry. One suggestion: please merge all features of the Rekhta Dictionary into the main Rekhta app. The current dictionary inside Rekhta is limited, and switching between two apps is inconvenient. A single app with full dictionary support would be much better for users.

Recent update changes
The latest update made the app so inaccessible. We can't vhange the dedault language, it is set to English by dedault. Earlier we could chabge the default language. Now we have to preview eveeything in english. Then click on ghazal to change the language.

Although change is inevitable, bringing change just for the sake of it is foolish. The intuitiveness, ease of use, and no-nonsense interface of the old version were excellent, but I suppose you had to replace it with whatever this current, stinking piece of garbage is. I don’t want to go into details, but this one gets me every time- I loved that small toggle in some shers that let you jump to the ghazal it belonged to. Now it’s gone. Why?

Congratulations on Ruining a Good App
The new iOS update is a masterclass in how to make an app less user-friendly. Earlier, language settings worked at the app level — now I have to waste time changing it on every single page. Brilliant!
Did the development and testing teams even try using their own app before releasing this? Any basic usability testing would have caught such a frustrating flaw. Please stop experimenting with half-baked ideas and bring back the simple, usable design we had before.

Saviour of a lost tradition
This app is really the best place for reading all kinds of Shayari and ghazals. I personally am a very big fan of Mirza Ghalib Sir and Mir Taqi Mir Sir and I also write some shayari myself so this place is like a wonderland for me. Rekhta is an age old art of poetry which is almost an endangered art in India where I live so I am proud to say that this app is trying to save this wonderful art style. This app has also helped me a lot as I myself write some shayari from time to time. “Thank you Rekhta Foundation” is all I want to say!!

Urdu font is nearly unreadable in phone.
I am using this app for a long time now, app is great. I can read in all three languages English and Hindi is fine but when we switch language to Urdu font becomes very small. Zoom in and zoom out doesn’t work on home page. It would be better if you guys can increase the size of Urdu font.
Back button doesn’t work properly in IOS. Chitra shayri and some other options also never work and load. And it sown an error every time when there is an audio option available for some ghazal and we click on it.

Lots of bugs
The app is very buggy and crashes every single time. I've been using this app for about a year now and I should say the website is far better. I've never had a chance to close the app ever because it crashes every time while using before ever getting to close.

Always issues with the app
I signed in Rekhta and download the App because I found the content to be amazing. Unfortunately I’m unable to take maximum advantage from it as the App is not upto the mark. It has been almost 2 years that I am using this app but have never been satisfied with it. Hanging of the app is a routine thing and many a times many pages do not open al all. You seriously need to work on it.

Great Content, App not so good
Rekhta have great content and it deserves 5 Stars for that but the The App is slow, Faulty and stuck a lot. Sonetimes, when we click on a title (gajal, nazm or sher etc), it would just hang showing the processing icon but nothing happens even after 5 mins. But due to the great content, I sm bearing it😁, however, a little improvement in app can enhance the experience a lot.

The app is amazing, but it keeps getting stuck quite frequently. Some bug fixes are still required I think.
Also, even though it includes so many great nazm and ghazals, there are still many popular ones that cannot be found on this platform yet, and requires us to us Google instead.

Bug for iPhone 11 not fixed
The Rekhta app tells me I can update and when I click update it takes me to the store. So far so good. Then you are left with the open option. Hit open and you are back at square one—in the app with the message that Rekhta app has been updated and you are once again staring at Update or Cancel. Hit Update and the same thing goes on. It’s frustrating.

I feel obliged to mention that Rekhta is by far the best available site for Urdu poetry one can find on the Internet and even the app UI is pretty satisfying.
But the app keeps crashing on my iPhone XR running on iOS 14.4 whenever I open any Nazm or Ghazal or for that matter anything that I search from the search bar.
It’s quite frustrating as it happens every single time so I basically can’t search for anything.

Technical glitch
After the recent update, there are certain glitches like, the meaning of the urdu word which used to show in hindi is not showing. Also at the top time ,network and battery percentage used to change color from white to black. That is also not happening. Kindly look in to this and fix these bugs/glitches. Otherwise love the initiative and love for urdu.

Absolutely essential
The App is very good. However, it has to be updated for dark screen access. When the dark screen is activated the details are not visible. Please correct this ASAP.

Unable to login via Facebook
I’m unable to login via Facebook. It picks up the credentials but doesn’t process it. During the first time, Facebook said that the app wants to access my email and personal information. I granted access. After that in all the attempts, Facebook shows that you previously logged into it using Facebook and I click submit. I try multiple times and every time Facebook says the same. However, the app is unable to process it.

Excellent app but technical glitch
I love this app for wonderful delivery of Urdu poetry, sher and Gahazals that too in 3 languanges. But I face technical glutch. Works for few days after installing then stops working, will not open at all, keeps crashing. Then I uninstall and reinstall. will work for few days or may be few hours or sometimes not at all. I am using it on Iphone 8 plus.

Nice collection but need to improve app
I am giving 5 rating because of collection of Poetry and dedication of Rekhta for literature, but app’s user experience is not upto the mark. There are few major bugs. Please let me know if you need any help, I am working in mobile domain
