Unreliable delivery service repeatedly

Considering that Licious product experience works only if the service works the review incorporates that. I’ve been using Licious for years probably right after it started. There have been teething problems and other issues but they have been intermittent.
In the last few months every other delivery either does not reach me or is rescheduled multiple times or the delivery person is “unable to find the place”. This happens because the vendor partners that Licious works with do not perform well especially for Express Delivery that requires products to be delivered in 90 mins.
In the age of hyper local deliveries where groceries including meat products are delivered in less than 15 mins why would one rely on an unreliable product feature and service from Licious?

I had ordered some things and applications and sms from licious it’s repeatedly said payment failed and they asked us to pay within 7 minutes to confirm the order . After this I attempted multiple payment and now multiple payments orders are delivered. Now licious is saying they cant take orders back. Somehow worst customer care service till time. Hope you close your store as soon as possible. Thank you for fraud service. Also the food you deliver is worst quality and smelling.

Unlike Bigbasket or FreshtoHome, the Licious app isn’t user friendly when it comes to delivering to the right address when you have multiple addresses, the App does not provide a final checkout confirmation showing the delivery address so ordered at the wrong address. Was charged a fee of 100 Rs for cancellation. This would never happen with Bigbasket or other deliveries. I may switch my preferences when ordering chicken the next time.

I chose a 12-2pm slot for 3 packets of chicken and proceeded for payment with no other prompts/ Qs/ requests/ etc. from the app’s side.
I received 2 packets and then saw in the app that the 3rd packet is arriving next day 6-8am. For some reason, the app auto split the order and never asked me for any confirmation. All licious cares about is making money by selling stuff that I can’t even use (I can’t cook 1/3rd of the chicken curry the next morning).
I’m a computer engineer and I know that these are very simple design decisions (licious feel free to hire me as a part-time consultant 😂). Its not even hard to have a simple prompt that asks for confirmation if the app has decided to split the order on its side unprompted by the customer.
My entire week’s meal prep is now stuck because licious couldn’t bother building a decent app.

Ordered 150gms of Prawns today morning. I was delivered with 85gms. The shortfall was not informed to the customer during the delivery. I realised it while we unsealed the pkt and found that the weight is very less.
Upon calling customer support, they mentioned that they cannot take back the 85gms nor they can refund my entire amount. They refunded only for the shortfall which was ridiculous.What would customer do with 85gms of Prawns

Lately it’s been observed that Licious service quality has come down very badly. I ordered 7 items as part of 90 min delivery and they have delivered to wrong address. I had to take lot of pain calling delivery executive and customer service multiple times. After lot of efforts items were delivered after 4 hours. The items were not cold and seems it’s lying outside in hot sun for hours. I was not confident in using the products as it may cause health issues. The address written in the packets itself was wrong. Customer service was unapologetic and not ready to address concerns. Pathetic service. I think it’s time to look for alternate options

Never once has an express delivery been on time. The delivery person would mark the delivery completed but call and say he would take more time (sometimes even hrs)
Even after complaints about misrepresentation of information when selling membership subscription, there hasn’t been a change. In fact they came up with a new scheme, they would delay delivery to next slot falsely claiming that the delivery person couldn’t connect. On receiving this sms update, I immediately connected with the customer support.
1. No calls but an SMS was received 30 mins past the promised delivery time saying the delivery person could connect hence we are rescheduling the order to a later slot
2. On speaking with the customer support I was told that the delivery person was allegedly trying to call to confirm the order. Confirm order? When payment is already done? What’s the logic here?
This is not a one off incident, this has been happening for months. After raising multiple complaints, today I finally decided to write a review as well.

I recommend the Hyderabad people to be careful before placing the order with Licious. They will reschedule your delivery and delay your delivery without your concern or confirmation. I faced it thrice-three times. They are unable to manage the delivery.
Everyone at every level says we don’t have authority to share the detail and no responsible person speaks to you or takes the ownership about their mistakes or delays. It’s not a professional organization where anyone has the leadership or ownership quality. No one owns their mistake or try to make the customer happy.
Disappointed , pathetic service , worst call centre people… customer service call centre people are not able to resolve your complaint in any way. They just make you feel they are helpless and you will get a call back. At the same time no supervisor speaks to you.
I can write more things… but I feel a sensible person who reads this can understand what’s going on with their customer management, service quality.
One last thing - the delivery executive name on app will be different from actual delivery person who will deliver or call you. This is a very high risk and matter of safety of customer. Be careful.

Now this is fresh incidence. I ordered Biryani cut which was supposed to be delivered in 90 minutes. So even after 2 hours I didn’t get the parcel. I called delivery agent and he said he was out of fuel and will reach in 10 minutes. I was still waiting. Then I reached to customer care and she also called delivery agent who was saying his bike was punctured and he will deliver it in 15 minutes. Then after 15 minutes I got a call from customer care saying the package is leaking and cannot deliver it. Please cancel it.
I don’t know why this king kind delivery persons licious has employed. All know they are fooling licious and customer both.
This has happened 3rd time time. This happens every time I order mutton.
I get the delivery of chicken items properly.

Be very careful with Licious. They have spent lot of good money on false marketing. They have no conscience - they sell highly adulterated meat in posh packaging. Every time we ate their food - it caused severe stomach upset and food poisoning. No other meat has ever had such side effects. Because we don’t have consequential damages in Indian law, they can roam scot free and not care about the repercussions. If they operated in countries with stricter laws, they’d be out of business and behind bars. Hopefully this review reaches the masses, beware of false advertising , there are no checks and most definitely not 150 of them. What are these 150? It’s just a psychologically pleasing number - ask them to list each one and show the proof. I don’t know how they’re allowed to advertise whatever nonsense they want- that doesn’t mean we should be ignorant. The meat is highly processed and injected with god knows what hormones. If you have the time, get their meat processed in a private lab and you’ll know just how badly they’re ruining the public’s health. Just because most people’s bodies won’t show the effects immediately, they’re getting fooled. In the long term there food will cause irreversible damage.
You really have to have no soul to be able to do this to millions of people and get rich on their misery.

I have been ordering from Licious in past but my last experience is so bad that I will never use their services in future. My order was divided into two parts based on earliest delivery. First part which had a commitment of 90 minutes arrived in 5 hours after multiple follow ups yesterday. When I raised concern, I was assured it won’t repeat. But this happened again for the second part of my order which was supposed to be delivered today morning got rejected without informing me. When I placed again as app was showing 90 min delivery, it was cancelled again by them. So I am left with no other option but to look outside for my needs. The very first order from this app is eye opener itself, never trust heavily promoted shopping site blind folded. This company is having audacity to call customer just to report after passing committed delivery time frame that the order cannot be delivered due to absence of delivery executive. Even for refund they were like we won’t issue full refund but you can opt to receive the ordered item next morning we will have delivery executive by that time. Thankfully I argued and took refund after long conversation. The customer service is extremely poor and inefficient. It is almost non existent and a complete waste of time…. I would strongly recommend buying physically from a meat shop… Now there is no covid and there is no point in wasting time with unreliable apps like this….

App says 90min I waited for 90 min then I called the customer care executive he said I says 90 min to 120 min I waited for 2hr then again I called executives said it was a technical error so it took so much time . Even after waiting for more 30 min . I got number of delivery boy from executive . I call him he Dident pick-up the call . Called him more than 10 times and even the executives but no concrete reply after 3hrs of wait . Then executives started cutting my call . After some Time I got a call back from the delivery boy he said . There is no order by my name . My complete family was starving with my 2 small kids . Such an worst experience of my life. Even after paying . I request every one don’t buy anything from here .

My first order was scheduled for a 10-12pm delivery and they cancelled at 11 am saying stock unavailable. I had ordered it the previous night. They added money to my wallet and so I ordered a week later and the 10-12 delivery guy came at 12:45 and called. I couldn’t attend and so I immediately called him and support again to deliver the order. This was 2 mins after but they said delivery guy already left the area and rescheduled to 2-4 pm. But that was my lunch so I asked them to deliver before 2 and at two in my app a notification came that it was delivered “on time” at 11:55 which was a LIE. I called support multiple times to cancel my order and refund my money which they are saying they would do but it’s not happening.
Absolute worst experience. Pls look at other good apps

Twice had placed the order today for creamy afghani chicken, one in the morning which got rejected by Licious in the afternoon , now in the evening again placed same order which was suppose to be delivered between 8-10 pm , at 09:40 pm I receive a call from customer care that this particular product is not available, then I told them instead of afghani chicken tikka u can offer me some other tikka’s he is saying that no tikka is available today, if no tikka’s r available with u’ll then u’ll should show as out of stock in the app, there it is showing that all tikka’s r available with us, but the customer care person was not helpful at all, he is saying to me that I’ll order a new order for you and u’ll receive by 08:00am in morning tomorrow, i then told him that u r telling me to have chicken in breakfast tomorrow morning is he out of his mind or what, who likes to have chicken in breakfast? Poor service, shut down ur business if u r not able to arrange an alternative product to ur customer . Poor and pathetic service by Licious that’s all I can say.

I placed an order to be delivered next day by 01:00 PM. At 3:00 PM next day I enquired about my order and got to know that it’s out-of-stock. This happens frequently with Licious. Firstly, it doesn’t display updated inventory while selecting/placing the order. Secondly, they don’t even care to inform.
Received response from developer, suggesting to contact customer care, which means I’ll have to waste my time again. Scripted apologies is the only thing that customer care provided whenever I reported this frequent issue.

I’m a Licious new customer. I have placed my first order on Licious today morning. I took the slot of 9AM - 11AM for delivery.
The order was picked up by the delivery person and estimated delivery was shown 10:09AM initially. But the estimated time started to slowly go up. I called up the delivery executive to ascertain whether he is able to find my delivery location. He responded and said that he knows the location and he is coming. This was at 10:09AM. Besides, the hub is very near to my delivery location.
However, the delivery time slowly gone up and above 10:50AM and reached till 11:00AM. My order still not yet been delivered as I am writing this review.
I think this is deliberately being done. Since the delivery slot is till 11AM, they are taking advantage of this and delaying the delivery keeping the customer satisfaction at foot.
Moreover, since the order is picked up I cannot even cancel the order. This is some kind of smart cheating the customers.
Actually it is my fault to use your app. I should have gone to Swiggy, my bad.
Very poor and third rated service.
You deserve a negative rating in terms of delivery. Couldn’t comment on quality as I have not yet received the delivery.

I was not a fan of buying meat online, but gave Licious a try last month. Trust me, I am a fan of the quality of chicken that I have received so far. The consistency of delivering excellent quality meat is what stands out. The delivery time is super , the promised schedule of drop offs are adhered to. The app is genuinely user friendly, simple to use and efficient. Additionally , the team calls in to check up with customers post delivery and takes in feedback - this is awesome.
Hope they grow and maintain the same standards for other vendors in the market ! Good work

For the past 3 weeks I have been trying to place order on your app, as an avid meat lover I’ve been using your app for quite sometime now but off late no menu is loading and I can’t seem to place my order. I’ve come to a point where I want to look for options like meatigo and fresh to home. Your customer care service is below par and no customer care executive ever comes on line after a wait of almost 15-20 minutes. Everything was working just fine after this stupid update of your app it just stopped working at least on iOS. it’s very frustrating when we have guests coming home and you’re not able to order I just had a foot in the mouth situation when your app suddenly gave up on me. I am switching on to your competition I hope you guys at Licious have necessary courtesy to address this issue and not ‘chicken’ out.

For me the app works perfectly great! Its a go to solution for buying fresh meat and great options to browse through.
In addition to it I have a badge on the app which constantly shows me 1 notification and no matter how many times I check my notifications, delete them and even uninstall the app it just stays. After reinstalling the app again, the badge reappears and its just worst to see that badge constantly showing notification alerts without even actual notification out there. Can you please fix it?

I am a regular customer And had placed an order on Sept 11. The payment had a glitche but later through an sms link I was able to pay the amount. The delivery agent almost harassed me for 30 mins asking me to pay again as it was a system glitche he mentioned when the time slot changes. I recvd a call from one of the managers who told
Me that I need to pay him cash and money will Ben refunded. The reason he gave me was there was some problem with my bank 😂😂 if there was a bank problem how would the payment go through. While I am beginning to enjoy ordering seafood and chicken from you, need clarity on the promotions you advertise which the customer can avail easily. The link you provided against such discounted promotions or cash backs does not enable you the benefit. Make it more user friendly or straight forward. As a trial, I wanted to avail the Rs 150/- cash back by ordering before the 8th as mentioned but ended up paying the regular amount totally without the offered incentive. So a few days ago I posted how my order wasn’t delivered in 120 mins and it was pending upto 18+ hours, till the noon the next day. After 2 follow up calls to customer service at Licious they sorted the matter and I received fresh order within an hour. As a regular and a meatopian at Licious, even though I was disappointed with the lack of coordination the day the order was placed, things improved the next day. Hope they work more on keeping things transparent to customers. Because of their premium quality, customers can wait to get products when things are conveyed to them beforehand. Thanks Claudia!

I am a subscribed member of this Meatopian revolution called Licious and I am very satisfied with their range and product quality. A tad above in terms of market pricing but if you compare the quality of products, then I am sure the local butchers don’t even stand as participants to this race. The flexibility of ordering in advance i.e. next day delivery, coupled with the amazing 90 and 120 minute deliveries for some of its products, enables one to achieve all their cooking plans well in advance. Meat, Fish or Chicken… amazingly clean and fresh. Their ready to cook stuff also has been delectable and their spreads that we use for pastas, salads and sandwiches,are a killer. No wonder most of the time’s, some of their products go quickly out of stock which is perhaps the only feedback I can give. While they replenish it quickly , I would certainly wish that they grow and keep not only their stocks intact but also continue to maintain their high quality standards. Good Job Licious- keep it up.

This is my first experience with Licious and was pathetic. I've ordered some meat on Licious couple of days ago. I've received the items on time but the issue was they were rotten. I've raised a compliant with the team, they have refunded for quarter order of the total which I've ordered. But guys be careful with the products especially those are on offer. That too during this pandemic one should be very cautious about what we are eating. One doubt what I have in mind is if these guys have failed in maintaining the quality of the product which they are selling, are they really maintaining appropriate covid protocols while processing the meat, packing and delivering? Don't know☹️

Waiting the entire day for the application to work was pathetic. After selecting the products in the inbox it was going into buffering continuously without proceeding to Payment stage. Done everything I could like reinstalling the application few times, switch from WiFi to mobile network and the other way few times but none worked from 1.30 pm till 6pm. I have called customer care in between and request help me place the order. The executive had no option of placing the order for me as now a days COD is not applicable. There should be some alternative with the executive to place an order of a customer who can’t place it online due to any cause, taking request from registered numbers and afterwards sharing the link on registered email for online payment through a SMS or EMAIL. I could finally place the order through the website but delivery could not be done today and pushed for tomorrow.
Also the cost of the product are going high, the service efficiency is going down. I have faced few incident with delivery boy misbehaving also.
Please sort these to sustain your hard earned customers base as the competition in market is now even more since lockdown has been lifted recently.

They don’t have a COD option. I tried to pay via debit card, transction failed twice, then I paid through Gpay, transaction was successful, I have the Gpay Bill and text message from my bank saying that amount has been debited, yet the order was not placed. I spoke to their executive, told her that amount has been deducted my from my end and yet the order in not placed. She said that order won’t be placed and you will get a refund within 48 hours. I told her I don’t want a refund, I just want the order to be delivered since I have already paid the amount and it has been deducted from my bank. She kept on insisting she can’t do that(as in place the order). I will get a refund for this order within 48 hours and if I want this order I should place it again and pay the money again, having already spent on previous order without refund. I am not the one to write negative reviews but I had to, to make others aware. Don’t know about the quality of meat they provide but certainly payment and return options not upto the mark.

The service was all fine before it went from bad to worse. I waited for a month before I converted my membership to Meatopia. The day I took the meatopia plan for 6 months the order was delayed by over an hour. When I called the customer care they promised to rectify it immediately and as an apology they would credit some (don’t remember how much) Licious cash to my account. I did not receive any cash, which was not my issue. All other subsequent orders were delayed by at least 30 - 45 mins.
To top it all up the last call with the customer care (Mr. Ganesh) was pathetic. He just told me that Metopia membership is only to wave off the delivery charge and nothing else. Was surprised how indifferent that response was.

I recently started using Licious and was using the web interface. There were many problems with it. It felt like the web application was created by my friendly neighbourhood butcher. So I decided to use the App instead. To my surprise, it was the same butcher who also created the app. It is a pain. Forget recommending this App, I don’t think I’m ever going to use it. The user interface is just crappy, don’t know what it keeps doing. The interface with the payment gateway is riddled with problems. Better use some other service that will pick up your meat and seafood from a nearby shop and deliver it to you. I do want to add that the items I ordered did get delivered on time and were fresh as promised.

I have been using Licious for a while now. The quality of products is still good. Whatever I take, I got frozen chicken once but it was fine, I didn’t mind. Recently though, the costumer service has really gotten bad. Previously when it was still reasonably new, they thrived to do better. A small complain and I used to get a call within few hours to help me resolve. Last 2 orders, have been difficult. Both the times the amount has been deducted but order wasn’t placed. And to get in touch with them I had to wait for 20 min and the call gets disconnected. Then another call for another few mins with me repeating everything, they said it will be resolved soon, which really didn’t happen. I wish they concentrated on word of mouth publicity than going overboard and loosing quality of service. But then business Is pretty booming. So who can blame them.

There is no negative star otherwise they deserve negative 5star rating.
So far I have order 3 times, not even once I am happy with their products or service.
Their slot time time tolerance is about 3 hours, they can’t even make delivery within 3 hours of time as our order is precooked. Every time delivery happens after 5~7hrs. Just imagine my order delivery slot 7am-10am, the guy took the meat around 6am from their shop or wherever and the guy will reach at my place 12pm or 01PM. How the fresh meat quality would be after 6hrs or 7hours.
Once I ordered fresh Chicken but I received frozen chicken, that was like left over stock of previous days and they kept it in the deep freezer.
I have subscribed Metopia which is Ayub waste of money as I am not using Licious now. I am using fresh to home now.

First of all if you have a good application with worst end user experience then it might be no use of this application. Through out the process till payment is ok but what about the order which is getting placed have no confirmation whether it is going to deliver or not on your upcoming slot though you got a confirmation message. For that neither they maintain any data in tracking item nor they process any message to customer what is actually happening but the very next day you will call and get to know about your order got rejected. So my opinion is what is the use of this application where the main purpose is not being satisfied and there is no follow up also. Really a nonsense app and will suggest not to use it.

Whenever I placed order I usually call Delivery executive to know the exact time of his arrival so that I can be at home. I didn’t received my order till 1 pm and when I called Delivery person he started abusing me and said ki marne ni aana mujhe, if you want delivery come outside of your society on which I responded that All other delivery executives are coming to our flats for delivery on which he said MC, BC AND SAID TO CANCEL THE ORDER. I called customer care 3 times and got assurance that i will get mine order within 30mins but no one came to deliver the order and at last I called customer care to cancel the order. I am not going to use Licious again and will discuss with our society people and friends what happened with me can happen with them also #boycottlicious

Very much disappointed with licious. We ordered for chicken yesterday and the delivery slot given to us was 9 am to 11 am today...Its 1 pm now and our chicken isnt delivered yet. We have been calling the delivery person since morning. Every time he says half an hour. I guess this chicken is for lunch.. when is he going to bring and when r we going to cook? Looks like we have to skip lunch on a weekend. Worst service ever. And that guy has been roaming in hot sun since three hours with our chicken and if i am not wrong the chicken muat have been rotten by now looking at the heat outside. We use licious to avoid going out considering the increasing covid cases in the city. The moment you are doing good these startup think themselves as invincible. I had very bad experience with Licious service. When app shown me I can order and it will be delivered in 90 min. I placed order and waited , on 89th minute I got a call that we can not deliver your order from local delivery location. They said app is showing wrong data. I asked him why he didn’t contacted me while I placed order and waited for 90 min. So he wasn’t having any answer. Then I called customer care. Customer care guys are totally useless they asked me to cancel order, we can’t deliver you. I haven’t canceled it but later found that they canceled my order without intimidating me.
If Licious is going to run there shop in that fashion then soon you will see this company will go for bankruptcy.

I recently placed an order for Chicken. My order was not delivered and it has been marked delivered. I have raised a complaint on support but have not received any update / follow up. When there was a delay, the customer support executive asked me to stay on the line as he was talking to the delivery person. But the line was then disconnected and after that my order was marked delivered. Neither delivery personnel nor CS contacted me. When I reached out again, they informed there was no complaint registered and they would get back to me. But no one has gotten back and no refund has been issued to me either.
Really disappointed. I have been a long time consumer of Licious and I will no longer order from here if my complaint is not addressed. I have been a fan of their meats but if they cannot address the grievances of their customers, it is not worth it.

It has been a continuous affair having failed transactions while making payment with I phone. This app needs improvement for I phone users. 3 out of 5 transactions will be failed during payment even you try to load money to wallet. How much ever we beg the support staff will not look in to details of failed transactions and load your money in to wallet atleast. They always blame our bank and later they realise the issue between them and gateway and load money to wallet after our constant persuasion like a pensioner after a Govt office. These issues are persistent even after re downloaded the app twice. Dear I phone users you are lucky if you are not facing the issue. Neverthelate dear techies please resolve the issues for I phone users.

Licious as a service is good but the app’s UI and UX is just horrible.
On starting the app, it takes very long for the first page to load completely. When this page loads, there are auto-scrolling banners which just keep scrolling ignoring any user input.
Then there comes a pop up to rate a previous order with so small “cross” on it that it’s practically impossible to close the pop up. It’s as if the cross button is purposefully designed to be impossible to tap, leading the user to leave a rating just to get rid of the pop up.
Then any page opened whether it’s the “Chicken” section or “Mutton” section, it’s so slow to load.
Finally once I add the products to cart and move to the payment screen, it sends the Paytm OTP even though I don’t intend to use Paytm. I didn’t even tap Paytm as a payment option. I’ve placed more than 100 orders and every time it sends this Paytm OTP unnecessarily.
In today’s world, it’s so hard to see an app that is so poor in UI and UX, especially on an iPhone. The team needs to seriously rethink this app.
But other than the app, Licious as a service is pretty good. Orders almost always arrive on time without any issues.

I really liked Licious when they started their service.. Been a very long customer for them. However, from last 3 months they are not at all concern about customer. 3 times ordered and received order confirmation message and later after 2 hrs some HUMAN BOT will call to say the same thing “We are sorry as your product is not available. It will not happen again”. My question is Why Do you confirm to customer when you are not sure about product availability? And cancel after 2 hrs.. Licious takes customer for granted now a days. Like old saying when business is stable, you don’t care about customer. I wish a better new business stand against them to compete.. Thanks.

I hope Licious will maintain the same quality going further. The service and delivery was on time. I am planning to order more items on the menu. Being a meat lover, it is really difficult to find quality chicken and other products from local shops due to non equipped farms and price war. The quality of all meats which we have purchased, especially freshwater fishes have been great. The delivery experience has been good as well with respect to time to delivery. However, there is no need of giving a handbag along with delivery, it’s a waste, since anyway your meats are packed in plastic and then a carton on top of that. In addition, there is not point of giving a paper bill, if I can access my invoice in your app, it’s just a waste. These two may be based on user’s choice whether they want to receive an extra paper bag (which costs 10 bucks) and the paper receipt.

I totally trust their quality of no additives or antibiotics or growth hormones..etc. fish is as close as u can buy in Kerala house boat :). Meat options too are amazing and much much different and better tasting and specially tender compared to local shops - which I’m sure is full of adulteration and growth hormones and god knows what. Unable to track the delivery and cheated me on 3rd order.

App doesn’t show tracking after order is accepted and assigned a delivery person.
In my experience, first two orders were delivered, though i was unable to track the delivery it was fine as i received them finally.
But the third time, the order was placed before day, order is supposed to deliver on next day in the slot 6am-9am. But it was not delivered and unable to track and post this no response to email, chat. I felt cheated after paying the money and no delivery and no response. The status of the order during delivery time slot was constantly showing as delayed (since assigned a delivery executive at 7:29am) and would be delivered in 15mins till 11:09am when it suddenly changed the status to delivered. I got a SMS saying order was delivered on time at 11:10am.
Meanwhile I tried to track using call option (around 9:30am) in the order in the app, which went to a delivery executive he responded saying he didn’t have my order. Chat option doesn’t appear to work (no response)
Finally the order was never delivered though i have paid in full before day! I understand if there is a mistake in order delivery, but updating status of order as delivered without delivering and not answering phones, chat and email is like taking customer money and cheating is intentional.
Bottom line, tracking of the order is very pathetic and completely unhappy about using the app. I got cheated by the Licious team!

I ordered chicken curry cut and the app first told it was 120 mins delivery... was waiting and waiting and the order did not reach... when checked again the time became 180 mins and then later 225 mins...called up the customer care and those guys are ultimate in giving false information and he told the DE is just 2 kms away... and I waited for 40 mins and he did not reach or call at all..called back again the customer service and they say the DE ended his work and left so it was picked by another DE if that was the case delivery time would not take this long at all... and the DE calls me and tells me he just reached the hub and picked up after 2 hours and says he is on his way from the hub ... I mean seriously so many lies from so many people..now tell me do we really trust this guys for a delivery...after the DE tells me in 15 mins he will reach but he took extra 15 mins to reach and we were just embarrassed to get it because of relatives at home and else I would’ve just returned the order. I’m never gonna shop with these pathetic people ever and not going to recommend any of my friends and family too..

The Licious app was very good initially
But now I just want to delete the app
Now their service quality has changed sadly.
I placed an order ( which is very difficult now a day’s) it shows it will deliver the next day between 12 to 4 after calling them to follow up at 6. They say sorry we don’t have the products available any more
But I had placed when it was available and everything got added and money got deducted . Then they give you the money back in you Licious wallet which again useless because it’s a task to place an order now a days. So my money is stuck and I cant even place an order because now a days their products are 90% not available all day and if by chance by luck I add a product to cart it goes out of stock till the time I make payment.
Their support always say ma’am product will get refilled at 12 pm and next at 11pm which also never happens.
This is not only me but even my friends faced the same issue not delivering products and add money to Licious wallet.
Now I just want to delete the app and install a better one.
Really sad how I used to like this app and was happy with their service and now I just want to delete it . Very annoying

I al so thrilled with Licious. It’s a saviour for my family including hector our full grown Lab. So o have been ordering often. And have been quite pleased.
However today the eggs, prawns and the cold cuts arrived in cartons that were so soaked. Unlike before The prawns had completely thawed and the wetness had even soaked the 2 dozen egg cartons. So disappointed. I hope this is a one off situation.
May I take this opportunity to complement you all on the carton design. Very unusual and interesting. Presuming all those caricatures are of the group that started Licious. What I like also is that just the portraits and names. Nothing to say who they are. Makers or consumers?! Lovely. Thank you

Cheating and trust issue

Licious was doing good and was a satisfied customer also with Metopian subscription. Recently due to COVID 19 situation they are not able to operate which happened with lot of companies. They are showing products which they know are not available. In my case I booked multiple products and the delivery boy gave a package and told everything is inside the box. On checking a questioning he told there is fish supply and he forgot to mention and to call for refund. After calling multiple times they told they don’t have stock and will refund to my Paytm wallet by 5 pm that day. Their app was showing as delivered. Even at 5 pm they didn’t refund the money to Paytm wallet and told it will take 48 hours. Licious is showing product which they cannot deliver and holding on peoples money either through licious wallet. They are showing products as delivered without delivering it and charging money.

I’ve been using Licious for about a year now. I buy all my meat, chicken and fish from here. There are two things that stand out about Licious. One is the good quality of the products - absolutely fresh produce. And two, the very reliable delivery service. I have not been let down even once. Every item has been delivered within the time frame promised. The app works brilliantly. My only complaint is that pork items are not available which is a pity since we have to go elsewhere for our ribs and sausages and salami.

The most worst, they don’t deliver and return money to licious wallet. No way they will return to your bank.
My first 2 orders went good. But after that all turned just nightmares. Order delivery time is minimum 4 hours. When call to customer care they all tell stories. Rate us too high when compared to local market. Now I stopped using licious. Below was my first feedback but now this is my latest feedback.

Licious deserves 5 star. It's just my first order and I was impressed with their service. The quality was very good and quantity is enough for the price. I ordered 500 gm prawns. Initially I felt the price is too high at Licious when compared to the market. So I thought many times to order or not. But finally I placed the order. I received the item within an hour. The prawns are nicely dressed and cleaned. And the price was for the dressed prawns where they peeled, deveined, removed head and legs. And the size was really large and worth for the price I have paid. I am very much impressed after my first order. Now I found someone who chose the quality meat for me.
I will change the rating and review in accordance with the further orders I would place in my future.
