Useful commute app

Shuttl is a convenient alternative for those who would prefer not to drive to and back from work. The interface is intuitive and easy to use.
Like all apps, this one has a downside and that’s unpredictable cancellation of rides. Shuttl has tried to alleviate the problem by booking alternate rides, which is helpful.
However, I would like to suggest that a push notification be sent via SMS or some other mechanism so that we know beforehand about the cancellation and take an informed decision about the reschedule.

Worst Service

I have been travelling through 1 year, the harassment they put me under is amazingly terrifying. The bus drivers won’t stop at my pick up point, sometimes I had to run behind the bus for 1km in main road to catch the bus. This is the issue with bus drivers and more amazing is their customer service, I call them to check what is happening as bus drivers also turn off their location tracking, then the customer care will say ok we will call them, don’t worry it will reach your stoppage whereas they don’t have any single idea on what’s going on… only telling lies. I have raised called maybe more then 30 times, each time they say your issue has been highlighted, but even after 1 year I have no solution. Now question will be asked why I am using this then: as I have very late options at late night and other vehicles charge very high. If the issue was for one or two times that was fine. Now this is happening regularly. I am starting to noting down their names and also recording the scenarios. I need to raise this issue to consumer forums, because their should be a limit to this.

Worst app with poor map

This is probably the only app which has the worst tracking system. Each and every day users follow the location of the shuttle and try to reach the pick up point. But the current location of the shuttle is mostly apparently incorrect . It shows the shuttle is yet to come but after few mins of lag it will show that it has passed ur pick up point . This happens numerous times. Also often the shuttle leaves the pick up point well before time. How can a shuttle leave the pickup point before time when passengers have booked a seat by paying. They have no regard for customer service. They will take the money upfront and not provide proper service. What’s worse is their customer support . They don’t pick up calls and if they do they should refund when the shuttle has left before time . And this is the same review I have got from a lot of people . Absolutely pathetic app and pathetic service .

very bad customer experience

Although the usage of shuttl really helps but the worst thing is there booking experience system,
I booked my pass and rides on time and the ride got canceled due to mechanical failure from shuttle side, so naturally as it wasn’t my fault you would assume that you will use those rides, but wait the catch is it was your last day and your pass got expired so now you have to renew your pass to use them, wow!
Customer has to pay extra due to a fault from your side for using a ride he has booked on time and paid already.

Refund and pass renewal issue

Hi,
So I am posting this comment after raising my issue several times.
The first issue is it’s been 11 days after cancellation of my pass I haven’t got the refund and the executive keep on saving 7 working days.
Second issue is I forgot to cancel the pass before lockdown in march’21 and the executive said that they will renew my that pass after the current one will expire. So on 6th june my current pass expired and from that day they are having some technical issue that one of their executive named Ajay told me which is why they are not able to renew my pass. Mahipal also one of there executives told me twice that they will renew it in 7 working days as it is a manual process still from last 11 days they haven’t. So due toh this i have lost my 8k , 6k of previous pass and 2k for the current expired one.

Worst customer care

I had purchased the monthly pass from Shuttl in March 2020 just before pandemic. Till this point of time I had not requested for refund as I was expecting that Shuttl will resume its operations in Mumbai. When I came to know that Shuttl has permanently shut its operations in Mumbai, I requested Shuttl to refund the money for the rides which have not been taken. Now, Shuttl has decided to give a portion of the refund in the form of Shuttl credits. Now when Shuttl has already shut its operations in Mumbai, then what am I going to do with the Shuttl credits. I have conveyed my displeasure umpteen number of times through mail as the customer care executives never pick up the calls. But nothing has happened

Average and unexpected service

Pathetic customer care service. It seemed as a boon as the price and comfort comply with each other, but with time i realise the glitches related to this. The app networks are slow, it isn’t updated, shuttl at times leave before the time or without stopping at the pickup point. Gets cancelled just a few minutes before without providing an alternative. It dodges especially on Saturdays.
But the worst thing of all is the customer service chat in the app. It is full of bugs and unprofessional executives who are not at all keen on solving the problem but promising a thousand times to do so. They’ll keep asking if i had any other problem when they haven’t addressed previous 5 problems.
This is the most pathetic part. Just have to compromise with it.

Comfortable bus service

Shuttle has made our commute to office and back very easy , convenient and comfortable ,
Daily I look forward to boarding this bus and relax on the way back home. Mostly I catch up with family and friends, or listen to music or read something or just take a nap after a hard day’s work ; however, there are a few issues I would like to point out:
1. While there are 60 rides already in my pass account, why am I being asked to renew my pass ?
2. The Shuttl route from BKC to Thane is very round about; we book these rides to be able to reach in time , and it’s not possible with the route of the shuttle; while other buses like contract buses , Citiflo take the new route, Shuttl goes round and round in BKC itself; there are many who don’t take Shuttl for this reason.
3. Since it’s reaching so late in thane, I also feel like taking some other mode of travel

Issue resolved, hence changed rating to 5-star.
But dont buy monthly pass with 30-day limited validity. Residual/unavailed rides are not carried forward after 30-days period. In any 30 day period, there will always be minimum 4 Saturdays & 4 Sundays, so you are left with AT MOST 22 working days in which to avail these rides. The issue becomes more severe during Marriage Season or months with high number of holidays.

Best app

This app is very useful those who travel daily in particular timings but sometime the buses get delayed and they don’t show the current position.
Sometimes the driver don’t stop in the stop specified. If they don’t stop we need to reschedule the ride which may or may not available at that time so please look forward into this issue. I experienced this and waited another 30 minutes for my next ride.
Other than that this is very useful app for those who don’t want to drive long distances in traffic

Stop with the calls and SMS

Had to give my phone number and email to start using the app. Within an hour, I received two phone calls from Shuttle (first was a missed call). I told the rep I am busy right now. When he asked me when would be a good time to call back, I told him not to call me back. And… he called me the next day to chat about the app. I hung up on him. Now I keep getting SMS messages from them. And there is no option in the app to delete my account.

Edit: Oh, this is not want you wanted people to go through? What did you think would happen when you spam people without giving them a choice to opt-out or delete their account? That people would abso-freaking-lutely love it?

Last moment cancellation of ride

The only challenge is they cancel your ride just half an hr before the ride is scheduled. This has happened with me 2nd time that the ride is scheduled at 8.46 AM and I receive a msg at 8.15 AM that the ride is cancelled which is totally disappointing since you have planned your day according to the shuttl reaching time. Especially in the morning when you are in hurry you do not tend to check the messages and suddenly when you are on your way to the stop you check your msg and the ride is cancelled. Apar from that I have been using shuttl since couple of weeks now, which I find very convenient mode of travel and appreciate the services. They need to improvise on the cancellation part and instead inform 24hrs before cancellation or ensure an alternative for the same. Also there is one more thing I’d like to put through is if there is a rider at particular stop, there should be some way to contact the rider if they are coming or no since they already have a track of how many riders are boarding on a particular stop since even if you are late for 3 mins it does not wait and in a city like Mumbai traffic is uncalled hence a rider can get late for 2-3mins “SOMETIMES”. Great concept, poor execution

No doubt what they’re solving for is a great problem and it makes lives easier for a lot of people but the execution is just horrible. The buses are almost always off time, the app doesn’t work properly 95% of the times - it’ll either be stuck or loading or there’s gonna be a connectivity error no matter the 4Gs and WiFi’s of the world, the customer support is SLOW and never smart enough or “supportive” enough. Instead of being a reliable everyday service provider, shuttl for me is a headache and I always have to have a backup in mind because I don’t know if I’ll even get to board the bus I’ve booked. It probably won’t be trackable or it’ll leave before time or it’ll breakdown and not come at all or something else - every single day.

Is there any better app than shuttl?? Because the price gets increased for every month

I do not understand the concept of these people increasing the month’s fare!!! It’s literally the double rate!!!
I know that it is first come first serve basis but how come the bus slots are full even when the bus seats are still empty??
I come from Ecil and when i tried to book, all seats got filled, next day when i travelled for the same route, i checked for the status, the same thing showed up like previous day’s (saying all seats are filled) but people got in at balnagar and hitech city
If you are trying to fill those seats can you not provide seperate bus? So that people who travel from far places like me will be able to get in!!!!

Worst Shuttle Service Ever

Firstly you have to buy Shuttle Pass to avail low fare rates which was not the case with Ola Shuttle. And then the Shuttle does not come on time or doesn’t get tracked. When you try to contact Customer Care through Chat they don’t usually reply on time. Your Shuttle is booked but it did not arrive and due to the App’s fault it doesn’t let you cancel the Ride. Hence you have lost a Ride for which you have paid already. And this has not happened only once or twice but multiple times. The App maintenance is horrible. Maximum time I am not able to track the Shuttle. Always during Office Time they have problem with their App. Then why keep a Shuttle service and this kind of App?

Shuttle used to be a good app. Nowadays your ride will auto scheduled to a later timing slot, you can not cancel your ride, the app is super lagging. And the cherry on the cake is there customer support staff. Every time I try to reach them over intercom, the message will deliver but there will be no response(even after the message seen) and then they will close the chat window after a couple hours by just saying we can not connect with you. I thought they must be busy with other customers quirie to I simply put my issue note in the chat window but still they would reply to you that we cannot understand your issue. I mean well done shuttle nice way to fool your customer and eat their money. I would recommend not to use this app anymore.

App is not responding

This is fantastic service undoubtedly. My travel become much easier now. Here is my honest feedback. This might look harsh but not really. I’m giving this feedback because I don’t want to go to office late. I hope you guys understand. This app is not responding at all to view my rides and to book a new ride in peak hours. And also it is not showing the current location of the bus and on the map. I thought my trip will be cancelled but I waited for sometime and looking at each bus number then finally it came. And one day I booked a seat for 9:20 AM, I got a message at 9:30AM saying that your trip is cancelled. Again I booked a seat for 9:40AM, I got message at 9:50AM saying that your trip is cancelled. I was just standing on the road. I reached customer care (another pathetic service) they said bus break down. You guys could have given me earlier information about cancellations then I would have looked for alternatives. How can two buses be breakdown at the same time. Are you guys not checking the buses until starting time? Are you guys running poor conditioned buses? And one of the bus doesn’t have the curtains inside, so I was unable to sit at the window seat because of the heavy sun light.

Shuttl service

There are following issues in app:
1. Booking opens at any time without any notification, example: booking opens at 9:30 pm but on 22nd August 19, I found most of the busses were already booked by 9:25pm without any notification of revised schedule.
2. Booking time changes very often from 9:30 pm - 9:00 pm - 10:30 am - 9:00 pm - 9:30 pm - ad hoc any time change.
3. It is observed that Shuttl app works perfectly well at all times without a lag of even 1sec but From last 3 months it is observed that at time of booking ‘reserve’ button in shuttle always hangs and throws error that “whoops...error”, or page keep loading for 2/3 min and by the time page opens all required buses are sold out.
As a result it is too often that I m unable to book bus based on my time preference/location and have to choose bus which is 2/3 km away from my office.
Also even after multiple calls and requests via app there is no increase of Shuttl service on Rohini - candor/Gurgaon route in early morning hours.
Hope someone really looks in above concerns and provide solution.

Poor service one of the worse customer care.

First off all they don’t have any customer care number at which you can call for support. I was ditched on my very first ride. I was standing at the pickup point during a summer morning drenched in sweat and the bus was standing 1 km away from the pickup point. I was helpless and couldn’t do anything when I contacted the customer support team they said the bus has already left my pickup point. When I asked about the pick up point the so called support guy Prabhas was unanswerable. He offered me a free ride in lieu of the issue but never addressed my point about the pickup point. After understanding that I won’t get any help, I deleted the app. I will never ever use their service.

No option to book ride even after purchasing pass

Hi, I do not usually right a bad review, however from last 24 hours I am not able to book my ride for my route. I have a pass with expiration date on 16 Oct 2019 and 36 rides remaining. Whenever, I try to book my ride it is showing me to book the ride by againing purchasing the pass or a single ride purchase. I have complained to the customer care executives for more than 5-6 times about the issue but they are assuring me again and again that the techincal team is looking into problem will be solved within an hour but there is no resolution for almost 24 hours.
I can envy the shuttl riders who don’t use their personal transport to travel to office but if these kind of issues keeping upcoming, I am sorry but to shift to my personal mode of transportation.😠

Removal of bus stop- Opposite to Raheja Mindspace C Gate

This stop is functional for the past 1 year and i have been commuting from the same. Unfortunately yesterday evening after booking a slot I found that the stop is being removed and not listed. Shuttl has offered a gift on the occasion of 1 year anniversary by removing the stop that is functional for a long period of time. This is truly ridiculous.
I have to walk an additional kilometer to take previous/next stop. Though i face issues with the cab arrival timings during morning i have never reported but compromised understanding the traffic conditions. But this is truly a worst act of eliminating the functional stop.
I request the management to act on this soon.

Pathetic Transport Service

I guess this space will be short to write a review on how bad and uncomfortable your journey to-fro to work a transport company can make.
To name a few, a very few, I mean it, below are issues faced regularly and religiously by commuters :
1) driver leaves earlier than scheduled time
2) driver doesn’t stop
3) driver takes some other route skips your stop (really!)
4) bus gets cancelled abruptly, no communication to you. You come to know when you check your app (wow!)
5) now this is a new seasonal wonder - buses leaking during rains (umbrella reqd inside the bus too - enjoyyy the mumbai rains!)
6) bus doors dnt close (Fresh mumbai pollution that shuttl provides!)
7) frequent bus breakdowns
8) bus doesn’t start on time from first stop
9) bus hygiene
10) no redressal or follow up mechanism of complaints shared on helpline
....So on and so forth.
Guys, if you read this it’s high time you work on your service and not just run your shop on marketing and trade gimmicks. I will anyway no longer use the service but hoping truly best for my fellow commuters.
Else wishing you RIP SHUTTL !!!

Tracking system

Shuttl tracking system is not good. It is really difficult to trust the tracking system. It shows that the Shuttl is ** minutes away and then suddenly the Shuttl comes to the pick up location. This has been noticed from several devices and from several locations. This doesn’t happen due to internet issues with the user’s device from which the Shuttls are being tracked. It is an issue with the Shuttl tracking system itself. And also, server related issues are increasing day by day.

I thought that Shuttl makes life simple. I fed up with the daily commute from Rohini to Gurgaon by own car. Shuttl was a respite to me. But nowadays, their services are getting deteriorated day by day. Once in every week, there is a problem, sometimes there is a server problem, sometimes customer gets to know that Shuttl is non operational after waiting for more than 20 mts. Last but not the least is their customer care, they don’t respond to the customer in above mentioned critical situations. One word for them is shameless fellows.

Worst experience

I don’t write bad reviews till i get worst experience multiple time. This my 2 or 3 time when i feel that when i book a shuttl it show different time then the arrival time . Sometime my shuttle is in front of me and shuttl app show 30-40 min waiting. And today i book a shuttl of 5:26 and i arrive at pickup point on 5:15. And the shuttl don’t come. And because of that i have to take some other mode to go home. And I can’t reschedule my shuttl because i have to leave early. And sometime shuttl app doesn’t work. And sometime pickup point has been change and we don’t get information about that. And because of your mistakes i have to lose my shuttl ride. I don’t have that much of money which i can waste because of your mistakes. And when we write to help boards they don’t respond to our message we don’t have free time to waste. Now i am going to tell my friends and family about this experience. With this kind of experience people will start leaving this app. God bless shuttl. Unhappy customer.

Pathetic service

Would like to share my reviews for the incident which took place on 6th August 2019, I was standing on my shuttl stop at gurgaon toll wherein I was waiting for my shuttl to come, firstly it came 25 minutes late and then when it arrived the driver didn’t stop the bus on my stop and he was about to hit me from which my friend saved me by pulling me back. Then we entered inside the bus no HR69D3177 in which the driver was in completely drunk state and was driving very rash and several times he was about to hit the bus on the flyover and on footpaths, he was driving in a zig zag manner and was making every passenger terrified, we immediately called the shuttl customer care service to which we explained the whole matter and asked them to do take this issue seriously since it was life threatening but they didn’t take any step. I was on call for almost 35-40 min and many people travelling in the bus called the customer care to which we just got the response that relieving team has been informed about the same and they are working on it and your issue has been escalated but nothing happened from their end, unfortunately we had to go through the same journey risking our lives throughout till we reached our stop .
This is such a careless attitude from your end, we 60 people travelling in the bus were your responsibility and it was your duty to verify whether the state of driver is in driving condition or not. We 60 people risked our lives and we couldn’t even get down from the bus since the driver was not even in a listening state and was not stopping the bus at all .
I am highly disappointed with the pathetic service provided from your end yesterday and would never like to recommend shuttl service to any of my friends and relatives ever. Richa Bhatti

Poor Service and Bus Quality

Service:
My selected bus 8089 on Nerul Stop on 5thAug’19 does not arrive but it showing from 10min it will reach in 5min😂... I called call center and they telling same thing and keep me on hold for checking the location😂... Meanwhile I boarded another Shuttl bus 7761, which is last bus for the day on the route and there I found another co-traveller saying the same thing... The call center guy came back and said Bus us about to reach😂... I confront him and told I boarded another bus and then he said if there is no space you need to deboard the bus😡... I said I’ll not😂😂😂... This is how their service works....
Bus Quality:
Bus I boarded which has half of the seats in dilapidated conditions, they cannot be adjusted and just falling apart, making inconvenient for both the persons who sit on the seat and behind the seat...
Advice to Provider:
If you want to offer just one of ride for commuters when they leaving early or missed their regular option, then this bus is fine for one exceptional day not for regular travel and then plz ignore my review.
But you want serious player in this, unless you improve service and bus quality you not making it big.
Advice to Commuters:
Try once and see. But I suggest stay away till they improve on service and bus quality.

Worst bus service ever!! Would not recommend.

Shuttl is a worst bus service ever. This probably my first bad review for any app. I have been facing very bad experience with it since past 2 weeks. I board shuttl from Nirman Vihar metro station, east delhi to noida sector 125. The bus is always 40 mins late and even customer care does not solve the queries properly. Whenever asked they say “the shuttl has already left”, which it actually is not. Apart from this, the drivers they assign are very rude. Being asked the reason for such a huge delay, they just rudely say us to talk to the higher authorities. Talking about higher authorities, there is no proper contact no. for that. So basically you will just stuck after purchasing the pass. DO NOT TAKE SERVICES FROM THIS APP.

Pathetic services

The services provided are pathetic. I booked shuttl twice but could not board it even once. Everytime at the time of shuttl, the tracking stopped working. I was waiting fr the bus on the scheduled time but the tracking suddenly chnged and as per that the bus was moved. No customer service. I contacted via chat. However, the representative stopped replying after getting my complete concern. I got a call from shtl customer service once when they said that they will adjust my amount and also arranged a call bck as I was in office but neither I received any call back from them nor my amount was refunded. WORST SERVICE

I usually don’t write a review but they are here to eat your money. Their app and gps are not up to date to track the shuttl due to which i lost it and paid double money to commute at work because from the location they pick do not have any metro station nearby. Wazirpur to Candor shuttl is worst in that.. They don’t even wait even they see the person is right thr on rear gate.. And when we complaint about it they completely deny for refund.. And many times nobody bothers to track your complaints. There PASS service is a trap to eat your money because they know you are going to miss it 50% of the time.. Very pathetic service

There are lots of bugs in the apps due to which i lose my money all the time i buy pass and due to these bugs every now and then i am not able to book my rides and waste my rides and when ever i try to reach customer care they don’t have any knowledge about anything they just copy paste there predetermined answers that has been given to them with out listening to or intend to help the customer and his situation. I don’t know what is wrong with this company. They all act like they don’t care about customer at all, i tried reaching customer support many times but only got reply very little times. This app and company won’t survive much long if they keep on acting like this
Note:- i am still facing issue from yesterday and not able to book ride though i have pass and more than 20 rides left but it still keep on asking me to pay. Pathetic service, worst customer care

I booked my shuttle at 6:05pm ride. Shuttl was late and there is no information. I called call centre at 6:20 pm. Shuttl left in another route at 6:30pm and call center confirmed it. I asked to book another shuttle for me and they said they don’t have that option. I asked to connect with her manager. He also said same.
1. Shuttle running late
2. Shuttle running in a different route and not updated it.
3. Driver didn’t called for pickup.
4. Call centre cannot book another ride.
5. Call centre manager can’t help anything
6. I am on roas waiting for another transportation.

My pickup point mentioned in app is SBI Bank, Vivekananda Nagar, Hyderabad. But Shuttl shows in app nearby and didn’t came to that point.
There are so many flaws, mistakes, errors in Shuttl app and it’s team. Worst service.
I suggest people not to opt it. You will become a “beggar” fighting with call centre.

Horrendous service.

To start with how it came to Hyderabad and took over other commuting services. I used to travel to Office using a third party Commute service called “COMMUT” for more than 2 years. SHUTTL came to Hyderabad in 2018 and took over COMMUT by acquiring their business. Shuttl was okay for the first few months (the number of cab cancellations was innumerable). And now since a month, Shuttl stopped coming completely and have removed the route without any intimation. I stay 35 kms away and commuting is the biggest challenge everyday. We’ve been regularly following up with SHUTTL everyday to rearrange the cab in our route, but they give bloody stupid answers saying “sorry for the inconvenience, we are unable able to find any vehicle and we cannot provide cab in your route.” Such stupid, dumb and irresponsible customer service and they have entered Hyderabad only to show off and do nothing. They’ve been providing services for the first 3 months in Hyderabad and later kept removing the routes completely. My friends and colleagues have faced this too and their feedback is the same - Pathetic. Horrible horrible horrible service. Not recommendable.

The app is the worst kind of mobile app I’ve ever used. Calls themselves a Tech-company founded by some IITians maybe, but sorry to say calling yourself a tech-company is the biggest joke ever. Using Shuttl is a “majboori” because I am responsible citizen and would always prefer bus to car. Their app is pathetic, no automated bookings despite spending around 9000 on passes. Like idiots you have to book your seat each day! I mean it’s the worst thing ever. Plus, you board through an extremely irritating CHIRP sound, also many a time their App is down and you cannot login despite multiple attempts and you cannot board with their world-class CHIRP feature when logged out. I mean c’mon, jaan maangte ho kya?

Driver diverted which led to left the passenger without picking up

I am travelling from jubilee check post to gar Laxmi INFOBAHN (hyderabad) and just 20 meters before the pickup he diverted the route and left me without stopping at the point immediately I have called the customer care and asked him what to do he simply said book another cab. This is responsible you give it to the people.
My pickup point is jubilee check post to GAR LAXMI INFOBAHN(morning). GAR laxmi Infobahn to Shaikpet which is very far from home and what is use that i should book for the shuttl. I want drop points to jubilee check post in the evening please look into it.

Poor customer service and misleading application messages

I was booking a ride and mid way it said that my pass has expired and it gave me an option to renew my pass or pay per ride. I obviously clicked renew pass option. Instead of renewing my pass, it bought me a new one. I contacted customer care and they told me it is my mistake and asked me to cancel my pass and renew my older one. 25% will be deducted. I said I will escalate this and he said do whatever you want. This same issue happened to me in December 2018 too. Instead of fixing there app, they have made it a mean to scam people. Pathetic everyday headache

Their customer service is the most lousy customer service I have ever come across, I lost something on the bus and they failed to even connect me to the bus driver. 2)I renewed my pass but my old rides weren’t transferred to it at all. I wasted over 2000 rupees on my pass rides but still seeing the pathetic bus services and rude drivers and pathetic customer service, I thought of trying it again to get my money worth back. The driver today is driving below the speed of 35 and I will be super late for a very important meeting, which I would have been able to attend even if I left 45 minutes late than I did today by any other means of transport. The customer service isn’t replying too. Their business and money is short lived because they don’t know how to take care of their customers. Please don’t invest into these scams, don’t buy passes and don’t even expect the customer care to help you.
UPDATE: only when I thought things will get better after their assistance- customer care send only one reply - I would be glad to assist you but no response after it. My driver took a wrong turn on the route he apparently goes on everyday, said he has no GPS, and now I am on a one hour delay, they also unjustly charged me 25 rupees on Paytm which I noticed and I wonder how many times they do that, would request everyone not to add your wallets on it. It is the most pathetic app when it comes to customer service

Not able to provide proper feedback on App

I am not allowed to provide proper feedback and star rating in Shuttl app. I tried to give a 3 star rating with feedback after my first ride.
But the app took a default star rating of 5 star for the first ride and all conservative rides. I want to give a 3 star rating to all the rides, but looks impossible as Shuttl seems to give a default rating of 5 to all its rides.
I am not able to provide following feedback:
1. 1-Mar ride: During first ride I noticed the ride was too long with too many stops and the bus was overcrowded.
The same day the evening ride also seemed the same.
2. 4-Mar: Ride was comfortable in the morning. However, when I boarded the bus at the first stop i had to clean my seat before sitting as there was a layer of dust and my trousers got dirty.
The same day evening ride was horrifying when there was a debate and heated discussion between our bus driver and driver of another company with its employees. There was a Shuttl co-ordinator as well. The driver drove very rash and almost flew through the speed breakers.
3. 5-Mar: Today as well the morning trip the seats were again filled with a layer of dust and I had to clean it.

Pathetic app

It doesn’t show the exact location of the stop and the drivers don’t even come to your stop. It doesn’t show the time correctly nor the route. So many bugs are there in the app. It shows different amount from what it charges. Tracking is also not accurate it updates very slow and there are many chances that u miss the bus. Worst customer service. They don’t bother to your complains. The route shown in the map is not followed many times. Worst commuting app I have ever seen. They just claim thongs but there is no truth. Ride is good but app is pathetic

While the rides are good , there are major issues with the app specially for IOS . I have been using shuttl for quiet sometime now but still I see major flaws with the app. Many a times on using press to board the ride doesn’t get acknowledged automatically we need to manually key in the boarding id . This is not only for me alone , I see a lot of co-passengers facing the same issue . On reporting the issue no proper action is taken. Today , I am facing issue with renewing my pass .For some weird reason the specific page for renewal is not opening . Tried reinstalling but still no luck.
Does this mean shuttl doesn’t want their customer to renew the pass 🙂

Efficient way of traveling

As someone who travels very frequently to Gurgaon from Vaishali, Shuttl is my preferred mode of transport.
The reason why I prefer shuttl over metro or my own vehicle is because:
A. It is easy to travel. I don’t have to worry about changing metro lines or having to drive. I can easily work on my laptop, read a book or simply catch up on my sleep. Which is just not possible in a metro or while driving.
B. I have assurance that I’ll get a seat for sure. Unlike in a metro which has become quite similar to Bombay’s Local train.
C. It’s temperature controlled.
D. It’s cost effective. When comparing the offerings of metro and shuttl, the price difference is nothing compared to the comfort one gets in shuttl.
E. It’s environment friendly.
I strongly feel people should try using shuttl services more frequently.

Needs improvement

I downloaded this app yesterday and tried booking ride, it takes to buy-pass page and asks to complete the payment, which I did. I thought that my booking ride was completed. On the home page the button says ‘my ride’, I thought it’s for my completed/historical ride. Thinking that my ride is booked, only to realise that the booking is not done and now the ride is full 😙😙😙. This is very disappointing, suggestion: once payment is completed ask the user to go ahead and complete the booking of ride. Even better if you book the ride too, so one tap from user is saved. Also rename the button to ‘my upcoming ride’, so it becomes clear.

Really need to work on app response and customer service

As a frequent user and traveller using Shuttl services, I know all the issues the app can create while booking and using the services. The slow response of the app, change of bus timings without any notification, Non-functioning of the GPS sometimes and also generic and by default responses of the customer care representative are some of the issues faced by the users, however looking at the bright side of this one and only daily commuting service are their functionality on multiple routes which are helping thousands of people to reach their destination comfortably and mostly on time. If they work on few of the above mentioned issues then I think their service will be flawless

Super intuitive and A great Logistics boon

Shuttl takes away all your troubles of driving in the very increasing traffic. You can spend your time much better commuting via Shuttl - Music, Movies or a quick work email check too.
The pricing is very affordable and well thought of. You have multitude of timing options and ride passes that are route specific and have great offers that make it lighter on your pocket.

Blunder

1. Not user friendly
2. Doesn’t show cabs for booking
3. Tracking is useless.. it shows cab is arrived at point after boarding the cab.. or sometimes it shows one hour away
4. Driver is not at all polite.. and shouts even if the customer comes on time and warns to leave after waiting 9 secs. This is too much. The customer may not come late daily but at times he or she might get late for a min or two. Please train drivers to be polite. They are frustrated and spoil customers mood too. And please increase the wait time for 2mins even the customer comes late once in a while
5. Should have brought to production after proper development and testing of app
6. Better to provide driver number to reach out to because even in future tracking may not work that perfect.. even if it’s works fine not necessary that customer will have proper internet connection all the time in all the places

KOLKATA- Irresponsible behaviour of the driver faced twice inside 2 weeks- WB19J1687

With great regrets, i am writing this mail on the strange and irresponsible behaviour of the driver for the Shuttl WB19J1687 inside last 2 weeks. I always board Shuttl in the evening from Meen Bhavan,Saltlake to Mahanayk Uttam Kumar. The first instance, which occurred around couple of weeks ago- i had this Shuttl WB19J1687 booked at 8.15 PM from Meen Bhavan and was waiting for the same as usual. I saw the Shuttl coming, raised my hand at the pickup point to board, but to my utter amusement the driver raised his speed and went away. I tried to reach customer care,but as usual no one picked up my call (thats a wonderful area of your service where nobody picks up call after 8.30 PM and does not even reply to the chat messages-wow)
Now, for today's ride, the same Shuttl and same time (8.15 PM)- i was anyhow dubious about the behaviour of the driver as i last time noted the Shuttl number- today, to my astonishment, again the same thing happened. I was waiting at the pick-up point and raise dmy hand when i saw it approaching and again the driver increased the speed and went away-but luckily,it got stuck in the preceding signal and i ran almost like Usain Bolt and boarded the Shuttl. The drive remained silent when i asked for an explanation of this irrational behavior.
I think i need an explanation for this - because i would not recommend any of my colleagues to use Shuttl henceforth with this strange service of yours.
Please let me know the root cause of this ASAP.
ALSO,YOU DONT BOTHER TO INFORM THE CUSTOMER IN CASE ANY SHUTTL GETS CANCELLED..AFTER AWAITING WE NEED TO CALL UP CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY FUNNILY SAY-SORRY SIR YOUR CAB IS CANCELLED-WOW!!

Dissatisfied customer!!

I will share my issues in bullets:
1. Not able to email as it’s displaying message to check my email settings. Suggestion to share your email as well so that I can atleast send email for issue.
2. 3 out of 4 times my shuttl didn’t stopped at my location ( even though I was standing at my location 10 mins before pick up). There might not be any option/ notification for driver to view bookings.
Driver should also be notified 5 mins before all the stops if any booking is there.
3. Not able to contact customer support. Called for continuously half an hour. Waiting.....
4. Whenever a ride missed by customer it is marked as “missed”. (Even if shuttl didn’t stop at pick up point). There is not any option to select ride canceled because of driver. And ask for refund of ride.
5. Whenever there is issue with shuttl ie pick up cannot be done for booked ride, I always get refund automatically. But you should also give my additional day for that refunded ride. I purchase pass as per requirement. 20 rides in a month means I go to my office for days. I need additional ride with additional day so that I can utilise that ride within that pass only. I dnt want to carry forward.

Bus Quality

I don’t usually write bad reviews until it gets on my nerves. The shuttle bus from candor tech space to Faridabad at 5:05 is a school bus and doesn’t have leg room. Even after complaining multiple times nothing has happened on this front. While the shuttl services have started leading the market, I believe they have stopped acting on the feedback shared by the users. It gets really annoying when you’re already tired and then hardly find space to adjust your legs. Moreover, considering it’s a school bus, people actually sit on top of each other rather than on individual seats. With this kind of service, I am sure people will start leaving the service soon, we already have started discussing options with other service providers. God bless Shuttl!! An unhappy customer.

Unprofessional customer service

Shuttl works best for you if you have your starts working for you. Yes you heard me right, if you are lucky then only your bus will come for pick up. Many scheduled buses are actually not running. But they will show in their app. Once you will book it and after the scheduled time if the bus will not come then you can’t cancel the trip as well. That money will go in Shuttl’s pocket as a black income.
And further whatever complaint you make to shuttl they just reply with a “Sorry” email with no solution to the customer.
They have sort of monopoly in the market and hence they have made their business efficient enough to loot the customers.

My experiment with the Shuttl

I am a senior professional with a Multinational organisation in Gurgaon. I travel 100us kms a day to and fro for work. I used to travel by a car and was quite comfortable. However, I had to unexpectedly chuck out my Driver due to his impolite behaviour. A colleague of mine suggested this Shuttl app and asked to try the same. I have been using the same since a month and have found it extremely convenient as a mode of transport. The buses are comfortable with extra leg room, on time departure and courteous behaviour of the staff in the bus. Great service and keep up the good work. Don’t become complacent and lose the sheen..Highly recommendable.
