The very reason I purchased premium was so I could connect my bank account instead of manually entering my expenses. I connected my bank account only to find out that it wasn’t refreshing and it would ask me to reconnect. I did all that and it would still not work. I reached out to customer support several times, but they have been very unresponsive. If this is how you treat your Premium clients, then you will lose them all.

I purchased the premium plan so that I can easily track my expenses without having to enter each one manually. But the issue with the app is that it takes more than 24-48 hrs to auto refresh and there’s no guide on how to Refresh manually. It’s is better to use the free version than to pay and regret with the poor sync feature on this app.
And the saddest part is that I’m 100% sure the developer will never guide us here but rather ask us to go to the help section and explain them this simple problem in a much complicated way and even then they wont fix this issue with an update.

I have very specific requirements, which after evaluating 2 dozen budgeting & tracking apps, I settles for this. I was moving from Toshl due to pricing.
Ability to record transactions, with labels, payee details, photos, repeating expenses, planned payments, budgets, reports, Web UI, reporting and export of data. I’ve found it all in Wallet. And to this, bank integrations too.
The UI on phone needs to improve a bit for faster entry, eg: choosing Labels & accounts. It takes 4-5 taps, instead of just 1.
Other than that, it’s an excellent budget tracking app.

From last year, I have been tracking expenses through this application, and it’s really useful for me to track and plan my payments.
One additional feature that I’ve been missing is payment transfer to other accounts is not available in planned payments. So, it is hard to create same transfer transactions every time. It’ll be useful, if transfers also can be done as part of planned payments.

You can’t sync most of the credit cards and bank accounts. Auto sync doesn’t work at all. You have to manually refresh, that also will take time to refresh and may not work for some banks. I deleted the account to recheck but not able to add it again. Adding people to group is also pain.Help is not helpful at all. If you can guide properly thought call or email then fine otherwise it is just waste of money.

I started with free and immediately bought paid version in less than 2 days, it’s been a year now.
Well I stopped using from long time now for following reasons, but I still kept the app with the expectation that I would use it but not able to for following reasons, mostly deleting app for now as premium wasted. Will see in future if any changes to the app user interface
App UI is extremely overwhelmed compared to a lot of other paid apps, eg: Spendee had simple UI
The moment I open app it has too much of data already, keep accounts in different tab don’t have everything on one screen the more accounts the screen covers
Have separate tab for complete transactions and separate tab for various charts instead of everything in summary
Summary / Dashboard - make it a bit simple
If we can add logo of banks accounts next to name it will be easier for us to identify it quickly as eyes search for pictures and then words

I have been a loyal user of Wallet App by Budgetbakers for the past 6 months and it has been an amazing tool for managing my finances. However, I am extremely disappointed with the recent addition of ads after each entry I make. It completely disrupts my workflow and makes the app experience frustrating. I understand the need for ads to support the app, but the frequency and timing are simply unbearable. Sadly, I have to lower my rating to 1 star until this issue is addressed. Please consider finding a better balance between monetization and user experience.

I got this app and paid for the prime subscription to be able to connect with my bank and get the latest transact details to keep a track of them. However 3 days ago it logged me out and everytime i try to reconnect it show an error saying something went wrong on the app’s side. After a lot of research, I zeroed in on this App. The interface is excellent and the features are intuitive. I use HDFC bank and upon subscribing to the premium plan, the sync with all my bank accounts was seamless. After about a couple of weeks, the accounts stopped syncing. I disconnected and reconnected. It worked again. But once again, the same issue resurfaced and for the last one week, I have been unsuccessful at restoring my bank account on the app. I have raised a complaint as per the help module but there has been response to it. I really hope this issue is resolved. If the bank account doesn’t sync, my subscription would be worthless.

It’s tedious to make manual entry of minor expenses. Same process has to be repeated. With an expense tracker app, calculator function should come naturally. You can’t expect us to have a calculator handy all the time or revert to phone calculator every time entering a transaction. I love the app, having come from Toshl finance for almost 5 years. Without calculator, I might have to leave the app. Hope to see it soon.

I have not seen such a simplistic and useful app in ages. This is kind of ‘Apple default app’. Very minimalist and easy to use. It has helped me managing my expenses very effectively. There’s only one problem I can see. I got to see 3 plans (monthly, yearly and a lifetime). Now after purchasing a monthly plan, I cannot see a lifetime plan. I really want to purchase it for a lifetime.
PS: It is not fetching my bank details for some reason. Basically it seems a very beautifully designed app with poor implementation.

I always have to do maths on another calculator and after that i update final amount on walletapp. if i forget to add some amount, again i have to switch to the calculator app and later have to update walletapp.

Its very good app.. Simple UI. Nice to use. But I have suggestion for you. In other few apps there is total amount of expenses and income in the scheduled payment category. You could add them in the planned payments segment. Then it will be complete app.

Hi Team, I love this app. A small request in Statistics->Spending tab is it possible to add percentages alongside numbers in piecharts or somewhere. When income is varying, the saving goals or budget for different things is usually set by percentage & that percentage number keeps the check if money is being correctly spend or not. I do see numbers but percentage number definitely makes more impact in mind. Thank you!

1. Unable to add credit limit to credit card options (Accounts type). Even after adding an amount to credit limit, it’s reverting back to zero. 2. Added credit cards are not mapping to Credit section in Statistics section. 3. No way to see total credit taken from credit cards or loans currently.
Otherwise the app is great. Wish for these to be fixed so that I can continue using it for budgeting.

Since almost one month or so I have been trying and update your customer care associate “Clavel” to reinstate my fully lifetime premium version which I purchased on 15 Aug 2 years back.
I have submitted proof of purchase. You already have my apple id and purchase history. Yet the support team is beating around the bush. What should literally take 5-10 mins has taken a month.
Please refund my money or reinstate the premium lifetime subscription within next 24 hours. Otherwise you re nothing but another app running a subscription scam.

I bought the lifetime subscription hoping that i would be able to track my budget across all my accounts , the app won’t link my bank even if it’s supported , the message says “some error occured” i have tried this over 10 times and with the right credentials , also i tried to link my account or track it via imports in csv or xls format , the file won’t upload on their site ,
You fix my problem or I want my money back

After receiving a good review from my friend I installed the app but first of all it asked for a payment, my friend recommended the lifetime plan but after using the app for an hour or two I was not satisfied with the app and my purchase so I wanted to restore my payment as I was within the trial period of the app… but even after clicking the restore button there was no refund provided to me
All it says is that all the previous payments have been restored but there was no refund provided to me

i was looking for an app where i can record my expenses made from my each account so that i know my net wealth.
This app made this super easy with great UX/UI. I can see my daily spending made from my each account, see the money invested, categorise them and see my total money in hand and investments. I needed to account for 1 savings account, credit card and my money in investment. So for FREE version it allows till 3 accounts which is sufficient for me right now. I won’t mind to take a paid plan in future.
Goodbye to writing expenses in notebook/ excels

I purchased their app few months back. Got a lot of issues while connecting to my credit card accounts (hdfc, American Express, axis, etc)
For 3 of them, I got connection error. Raise support request, they responded the next day, but seems incompetent. They suggested me to delete the connection and create new connection, which I tried, but again got the same issue. I stopped using the app for 4 months. Tried back today, and it’s still so buggy. And their support again suggested me the same old step. Worst app. Their team is prompt, but not skill full enough to handle the technical challenges they are facing.

I use the pro version for a bank that syncs and a credit card that doesn’t. It’s a pain to maintain certain accounts. For example, credit card bill payments are considered an expense and there’s no way to mark it as otherwise. Also, if I split a bill using my credit card and the money owed is sent to my bank account, there’s no way to not treat this as an expense and it gets confusing. Sad to see one of the only few apps that support automatic expense tracking on iOS lacking crucial features!

Great idea with poor execution

I loved all the app can do and purchased lifetime premium. But i started having issues with bank connections immediately. I raised ticket and they replied they would look into it. It was almost a month and no one resolved the issue. I asked for a refund if they couldn’t resolve the problem. Instead resolving the problem they just refunded me and closed the ticket. I’m pretty upset cause i wanted to use the app very much for my budgeting. Now I’m using YNAB and I’m happy it.

The reason I have downloaded this app is to automate and track my spending across all payment channels. However the accounts doesn’t sync and pull the latest balances from bank accounts provided even after refreshing multiple times. This happened for me and my brother who installed it on my recommendation, now both of us have removed it and cancelled the subscription after using it for few months. Since the core feature of the app and doesn’t serve seamlessly.

Please don’t go for it, you’ll only waste your time. Go for Wally instead (it’s free!!) or make a manual excel, that would be faster tbh.
I downloaded and paid for the premium version of the app, assuming the bank sync feature would work to track expenses. A week in, and two of my bank accounts have continued to fail syncing. Now that I read the other reviews, it seems like a genuine problem with this app. However, I am more annoyed with their customer support team which kept asking me to do 5 new useless things daily to resolve the issue from my end e.g. using the right credentials (duh!), sending error screenshots, sending error videos, raising different tickets for different bank accounts and then finally (my fav one), “if the problem persists after several attempts, then write to us again”. Basically, they won’t do their sole job unless you have keeping facing the problem on several tries!!!

The expense should have a proper total rather than deducting from the set amount. The wingers do not work properly and have lots of issues in checking. App needs proper improvements.
Per day expense also should be designed to see the per day expense. Similarly per month also.
In top 10 expense it should be categories wise and not sub categories wise.
The expense graph should be vertical rather then horizontal I.e X axis dates and y axis expense of that particular month.
Should have colourful emojis.
Pls improve lot of scope for improvement.

Dont buy the premium subscription as the bank connect does not work. I have purchased the full version on 27th april and the bank sync stopped working on 29th april. I raised a ticket on the same day. I am writing this review on 9th may. They are yet to provide me with an explanation of what is happening leave alone fixing the issue. If you are planning to spend some money for bank sync i suggest you look for some other app that actually works and don waste it on this crap.

Nice app but there are a few critical bugs and missing features. In the consolidation money owed to credit card shows up as money that belongs to us. Also there is no consolidation of budgets. So while we can have individual budgets for a month, there is no way to see budget at a consolidated level for the month

I am having a terrible experience with this App. Every single day after I change the payment status from uncleared to cleared, the next day day there are duplicates of every payment. I had to manually solve duplicates. I thought this was a one time effort but I had already solved the duplicates 8 times the past week. I guess there’s only one developer working on the App
Not worthy for it to be a paid app. I request for a refund and request that the features should be given for free till they fix the bugs

Issues with Bank Integration and Fund Transfers

I am using the premium version of this app. Despite adding all my bank accounts, I’m facing two main problems. Firstly, the bank integration is poor and my expenses are not being updated for over a week. Secondly, when I transfer funds from one account to another, they are being treated as an expense. So while I have just moved funds around the accounts synced with the app, the app is showing me an expense which is greater than my income. I have tried reconnecting my accounts multiple times to sync up my current but it always shows a failure and hence the app feels broken to me.
Everything is good about the app except for the fact that it doesn't work. If these issues are resolved, then the app would be the best expense tracking app out there.
Not creating statistics automatically

I have added my credit card and linked it successfully.
The app has fetched the records but it doesn’t display any information under “income and expenses”
I have to manually select a record and then click “done” without making any changes for the app to show expenses under “income and expenses”
Moreover, the balance of credit card is fetched and displayed under all account section as the balance available. Whereas, there could have been an option to disable this as the balance in credit card is not what you own, but what’s available for expenditure.
UI is intuitive though
