I had a delivery scheduled, repeat delivery which I had done last three days…the delivery take 20 mins..in this case as well they said the package is delivered. I checked after an hour and it was not, I called the person and he said we have technical issue from Dunzo and we will deliver in next 15 mins but the package was returned back to me charging me extra for return as well. The customer executive are unresponsive and closed the issue without confirmation. Really bad app and even worse service

Delivery partner will be assigned very late which will not solve our purpose. I cancelled the order after the delivery guy went to the store and paid the required amount and then the order status went to “trying to assign another delivery partner”. How dumb is this to assign another delivery partner after paying money to the store. And the customer care is more dumb who keeps on giving generic responses to test our patience. There is no way to reach or talk to customer care for my refund of the cancelled order as they just throw some selected issues to select from and we don't find our concern in those. This is one way of shutting down the customers to not reach them. Worst service and pathetic dumb support overall.
Partner should be educated enough to be able to locate add on google map and not expect to be directed each time

Dunzo agents took away the delivery parcel and didn’t deliver. Also faced an issue in which Dunzo partner took cash from the person inspire of it being a prepaid one !

I tried to add referral code of my friend, but everytime it denied to load it in app, showing error. Even I tried to load new user code GET50 it still shows me error. I didn’t get Dunzo cash as promised by Dunzo app owner. Kindly sort it out this referral code issue

The idea of the app is really nice. I mean who likes to step outside in the middle of the night for small things. Having said that, if you have an app like this, it should be backed by a decent support team. Their payment gets stuck most of the times. This has been happening with me for the last 10 orders and one day I paid twice for the same order because I was being forced to pay again. I’m yet to receive a refund. Support guys replies once in 2 hours so what’s the point of even displaying that option. I think I’m gonna delete this now.
I had to report a issue about the quality of the products they are sending to me but there is no customer care no or mail sent wont be responded properly. I used to get old tender coconut which are unable to open properly and when ordered mop stick they sent damaged one ₹300 worth n when reported they didnt even call back or respond so have stopped ordering from daily and shifted to swiggy due to no response from dunzo customer care. I m using it from 5 years but still they didnt care to respond even after the kind of orders i m giving tgem. Anyways here after only using pickup n drop . They are gud for only tgis i guess!!
I have correctly mapped location but when delivery guy came to deliver he kept on giving call but as I work in school my phone was is in locker but when I called back after 20 min, he took parcel return. My question is your app giving-option to map location and to provide house number after giving all this details correctly, if person has not picked up call then at least ring the door bell and check and delivery. How can you just take parcel return back. You your delivery depends on call then don’t keep option of mapping location. After all the the delivery guy and customer care guy was so rude, they talking like we will not deliver your parcel do whatever you want to. With such bad behaviour , why you are running a services. To take your attitude we are not sitting free we are paying for the service we are not taking free service to take your attitude.
I had placed an order for COD for an amount of 540 Rupees and informed the delivery guy to get change for 2k because i did not have it.. This guy shows up my door and starts saying that he doesn’t have the change of the amount and rather assured me that he will get the change of 2k.. Since Dunzo is a professional service I agreed and was waiting for the same.. the next moment this guy has disappeared and after that when I called him he said that I gave him the exact amount.. I contacted their support and they do not wish to help me any more further and this is such a bad bad service.. The delivery guy took advantage because I do not know the language and was interacting in hindi.. This is the worst worst worst experience ever…
Every once in a while when I order from Dunzo one thing or the other is missing or completely different but since the price is small i let it go. This time I ordered medical supplies from a store and they gave completely different and cheap product which made me super angry. I tried contacting them via chat in the app gave the bill details, different product which was delivered images with the box packaging and mfg date everything. It took them 5 minutes and i get a message saying they cannot do anything about it and the chat was closed. I tried to fill in the survey and it asked me to connect to an agent, i said yes and then I was told to write an email. When all the products with bills and everything is with you guys then what is stopping you to take the complaint forward? I dont need to spend my hard earned money for crappy stuff which the shopkeeper said he will not take back since it was ordered from dunzo. This will be the last time I order from them and it has left a sour taste forever. You cannot force anyone to buy crappy things just because it is easy or the people are just lazy.
It’s very good idea that we can get anything through purchase or pick up option.
But there is a problem with delivery partners that some people in the afternoon between 1 to 4 p.m. after being assigned to an order and before they start for delivery, they eat their lunch, and when we call them they say that they’re eating their food and they would start only after five minutes or 10 minutes or maybe take 15 minutes sometimes.
I have placed many orders in Dunzo nearly above hundred orders and I have experienced this quite a few times that after the order is assigned to them, they stop the bike somewhere and they keep eating, delaying the delivery of the order.
If they really want to eat their lunch, they should inform the same to the company and ask to assign someone else and they should not waste the valuable time of the customer.
Because even though the idea of pick up and purchase option is excellent but the same should be implemented efficiently otherwise it will not be effective and it will be a futile idea .
I really like your concept! And app is also ok, I understand how much efforts it takes to execute an idea! You guys have done amazing job, just as a customer requirement I’d like to suggest something, it would be great if you guys can allow us to choose delivery (pick n drop) for a specific time.
Tomorrow is my friend’s first day at work, I thought to send something to her office. I might forget about this tomorrow morning, thought to place it on Dunzo but there’s no such option available.. I believe this option can boost your sale.. Give it a thought! Cheers!
I placed my order around 12:40 on 17th jan 2021. Till 1.20 I tried reaching the delivery guy. He didn’t pick. At 1:30 he msgs me saying his app is not working, I between I was trying to contact the customers care. They have some great chat support. Only pre written scripts they will send, no human touch at all. They assigned a new guy for the delivery thankfully. But what is the solution for the delay ? My time ?
They charged the same surcharge which was shown in the beginning. Why the customers have to suffer a guffaws of your technical glitches? When you are charging surcharge for delivery you guys should think about customer’s benefits also. Don’t create the rule which is only benefiting the brand. Even as a customer we have some writes. Because of us you guys are doing business. I will Never recommend Dunzo to anyone. Go for swiggy they are far better than Dunzo.
Delivery boy didn’t deliver the product and on app he mark the product delivered, I called him many times he didn’t answer even a single call , after some time I called him by another number ,he answered I told him about the order ,first he said your number was unavailable, I asked him when you not delivered the product to me why did you mark delivered on dunzo app , after that he said I will not deliver the product do what you want do and all of sudden he started abusing me ,and the most important there is no help line number for customer , on support option of the app they didn’t even reply, they don’t give any refund!! And didn’t take action against the delivery boy and I warn you guys there delivery boys are not verified ,they don’t give delivery boy number when you order product.

Once i ordered for a pack of cigarettes and instantly they cancelled the order just after the payment was made.. and they when i raised a query,they told me to wait for 5-7 days to recieve the amount. Like a fool,i’ve waited and waited and finally when it was over time,i tried reaching out the support centre and this is what they had to say,sir the refund was successful ,when the reality is i use netbanking,and kept checking for the whole 5-7 days,none of the amount was ever recieved.. now all they got to say is,we made the payment and was also successful! Now, this is what professional service is i could say!! Guys,don’t make this mistake ..
Right after the order is delivered your app asks for delivery partner rating and shop rating. But suppose I ordered some 10, 15 items and I want to cross check if all the items are delivered properly, your app is not letting me see that. I’ve to forcefully rate the delivery first, then only I am able to check if all items are there or not? So what should I do? Hope for the best and rate 5 star or be pessimistic, rate 0 star and expect for the worse?
If only somebody from product team cared to use the app like a user, you would’ve figured out such bad user experiences already. There is no option to minimise that rating popup window. Check how Swiggy handled this, without blocking the user from further actions before rating.
I’ve used this App plenty of times to be sure enough to write a review on it. Dunzo is great when it comes to sending stuff from one place to the other.
However, they have the worst kind of customer service and selection of partners for groceries etc. The shopkeepers pass on their stale food via Dunzo and give you 3rd grade brand food when you order. Being in bangalore the Rainbow supermarket is the epitome of passing on rip offs to customers and they wouldn’t even give you a bill for it.
I recently brought 3 packets of milk and they were all expiring on the same date that I ordered. When I raised this issue, the Dunzo customer service cut me of saying how terribly sorry they are and provided no reason for why an exchange wasn’t agreed for. They literally closed the chat and asked me to email the support team. Fast forward, I write the email to support team who again don’t bother to give me why they wouldn’t refund. Even in a shop, they atleast give you 3 days worth of shelf life for the product, which again is not okay but Acceptable.
No follow ups from support team, no solution or reason provided for any of this. So my free cents to you, don’t waste your time on buying groceries from these guys. Just pick up and drop stuff but never any of the other things they’ve got to offer.
I ordered for groceries and I paid the bill through my card. The bill from the store was less as few items weren’t delivered by the guy. I checked this a day later and sent these people a message. At First they didn’t respond and second, they said they can’t take this up because I messaged them after 24 hrs. I again requested a call and they replied that they would call within 6 hrs but they never called. I received a call after a week and that was the ‘feedback call’ and that lady had no idea about my problem. Even she was like you messaged after 24 hrs and can’t take this up - I have the bill and the online transaction. Can’t they tally? They didn’t want to. I don’t recommend using this app to anyone and also have stopped asking my colleagues to use this.
I had ordered a cake and asked dunzo to pick my order and deliver it to me ... the delivery partner damaged the cake as he said it fell off his bike ... when I asked for refund the organisation just refunded me the delivery charges .. when I told them to refund my entire expense as my product is ruined and even the product dint get delivered ... they replied that they cannot refund the entire amount as I did not use their platform to pay entire amount ... this policy doesn’t make sense .... nobody should be dependable on this application... i would hv never downloaded this application if Swiggy was not available becoz of this pandemic... disgusting service provided and policies are not customer based ... I had to bear double the expenses and u guys have ruined my day .... your sorry and apologies are not goin to recover the damage done and cherry on cake they won’t refund u the damage done by them.... i m just uninstalling this app...
Well, order after order I’ve been cheated.. they don’t train their delivery partners, either the delivery partner don’t know what they are doing or they have told to take customers for a ride. In a span of week I’ve been delivered all the six items wrong, I mean come on, who can get all six item on order list wrong, the second time the delivery partner took the money and cheated. He said he met with an accident, but the app showed the item has been delivered. Upon calling the call centre the said they have suspended the partner and gave me a refund.
They don’t give you a cash on delivery option citing covid-19 reason, if you pay cash before the delivery guys will either lie or cheat. There is no way you can call them, you will have chat first with them and then if they feel like talking to you they will call you.
I do really appreciate the work done my Dunzo delivery persons in delivering essential items during the lockdown. Having said that, there are major flaws in the way the app works. The major one being that there is no bill provided with the items delivered so if there is a difference between the items ordered and the items delivered, then you can’t do anything about it. The customer support chat doesn’t work on the app and you can’t call anyone. So, the delivery persons sometimes miss one or more of the food items, etc. that you had ordered or at times deliver same items of lesser value or weight. Sometimes the difference in value between the stuff ordered and the stuff delivered can be quite a bit. One obviously feels cheated when that happens.
At the moment people don’t have many options but once things become operational again, I don’t think a lot of people would like to order their stuff from Dunzo unless they fix the above mentioned issues.
I have been trying to log in to my dunzo account since one year after I accidentally logged out but it always say that I am using an incorrect number. I have reached out to their customer services like a million times and they just responded once saying that I should reinstall the app and try again. I did that and nothing happened and I have been writing them mails regularly to look into it and there has been no response from their side. I was a regular and user and this is what I get out of this app. It is ridiculous when they call themselves a support team when all they are doing is troubling the customers for no reason. First, I was not allowed to log in for no good reason or explanation from their side and second, they seem so uninterested in responding to my grievance. Well, I would not at all recommend this kind of customer service, its a waste of time to even reach out to these people.
This is such a ridiculous app and service where they charge me for the goof up at their end. Finally, when I want to get some help with the mess created part of the service, I get to go on in an infinite loop for hours with a chat bot and no customer support staff who you can reach out to in an effort to resolve the issue. This goes for hours and I lose money including the money I paid for the order. Stop using this app and I recommend you to do the same. I’m surprised that a company with such a crappy product and support is still surviving. I wish I could rate them zero or negative.

I have ordered chicken and I didn’t get on time it was not fresh, blackish, yellowish and I cancel the order and if you contact customer care number so nobody will answer then I had write mails regarding this so they have just said your refund is initiated but there is no refund at all and my app is not opening even and still I’m getting my money back... so they are making Fraud they don’t care about customer they just want many subscribers so don’t even order anything from this app

Had been using the app quite regularly for around 4 months without any major problems. It wasn’t perfect, and there were a few hiccups but, for the most part, it was very very helpful and convenient. Made life a whole lot easier.
However, all of a sudden, one fine day the app informs me Dunzo is not delivering to my location ‘yet’. This was such a major letdown, because I’d come to rely heavily on the service. But also because even if service was stopped due to a business decision they have a responsibility to inform users via a push notification or an email at least.
Was extremely disappointed. Expected better from Dunzo.
I am not sure what this review means to Dunzo team because their support team seems unmoved even by number of calls and emails. Please never select “pick from any store” option. I own a restaurant and we haven’t onboarded on Dunzo yet. There is a customer who picked above mentioned option and placed an order against us, the delivery guy from dunzo came to us and asked to prepare the order saying he is making the payment. We prepared the order but this guy was unable to make payment to us. He and I tried a lot of times to Dunzo support but no one is ready to own an issue. I sent at least 10 emails to their support but there is no response yet. That parceled food got wasted, it was a bad experience for that customer also as she already had made the payment. I am sure she would have got her money back but how about our loss. More than the loss, its the experience and seeing these many loopholes in their business model, let alone onboarding we r even not going to entertain any further order we get from Dunzo.
I ordered a pack of cigarettes, as a regular process, I received the payment link and the payment was done successfully using Paytm mode. Estimated time was 8 min as per the app, however post eight min, I got a message stating items were delivered when I did not receive any items. I tried reaching the delivery partner from the time I got a message of picking the order but no response. I also received a blank bill invoice. I contacted customer support immediately, and a customer executive was assigned to my task. Post many follow ups for 2 hours I did not get any response. Hopefully the issue gets resolved soon. Dunzo does not have voice support in case customer needs to speak about their concern, have to wait for their next message over chat. It’s so irritating and frustrating to wait for a long time.
Awesome concept but the execution is pathetic. 3 out of 5 times, the rider had a punctured tyre, and I am the one who is supposed to contact support and ask them to change the rider! And their genius customer support doesnt respond for hourssss! I dont know if you guys dont pay your riders, that they dont want to make a delivery or whatever the reason, please dont accept orders if you cant fulfill them. No one has the time to chase you and your rider for their order. And since all orders are prepaid, you’re trapped in a continious chain of customer support cycles after placing the order.
Please dont expand to a city when you’re not ready. 2 of my orders have pending refunds which never show up on my bank statement. Please keep the money, i’ll think I donated it to charity. You guys need it to pay your riders!
I gave a try once which I had a awful experience because the delivery person never delivered the product
So I gave them a new change by ordering “dog food” so I ordered after an hour I receive the call and asking directions for the shop! I was stunned like how would I know where the shop existed I had search on google maps and send the location to the delivery person the address via whatsapp and he was like cancel the order but there was no cancel option and my god don’t even talk about the support the worst support ever they don’t even care and I got the delivery after sending all the details and contacting the shop for calling the delivery guy for the instructions he was supposed to deliver within 45 min but nope he took 4 hrs to deliver me the product. YOU GUYS DONT EMAIL ME BECAUSE THE LAST TIME YOU SAID YOULL RECTIFY YOUR MISTAKE YOU GUYS DIDNT I THINK THIS APP NEITHER THE COMPANY SHOULD EXIST. Can you please shut this thing down because we can’t have all the hassle be we have already enough ones.
I tried to get something delivered to me from a store nearby. The way it works is that we make a payment and the amount gets deposited to the rider’s atm card and he can take out the money from an atm and make the purchase - this is what the rider told me. I have made a payment but the rider is saying that the amount’s not reached his atm card and his balance is zero. I have tried reaching the customer care more than 10 times, have been waiting for a response for more than 20 minutes, nil response so far. I have asked him to let me try make a second payment but no luck with that as he has been trying to send me a payment link but it doesn’t reach me. The customer care is non-existant. Will probably have to send some emails to get my payment which I have already made back.
Faced multiple isses during the 1st order itself.
1.Amount got debited from my account but the order was not placed.
2.Re-ordered by paying again,this time the order got accepted but the total amount was more than that of the total cart value by the time the delivery executive placed the order at the store and I had to pay extra money to collect my order.
3.I have paid extra money to the delivery executive and collected my order. But then, the app asks me to pay the extra amout again, only then I’ll be allowed to place a new order.
4.Customer service is pathetic. It is like one way communication. Only you will be asking the questions and there will not be anyone out there to respond.
5.And Finally, about the delivered products. I ordered for some groceries and some fruits. The fruits were all almost spoiled and nobody would buy them at the store. So,they are using dunzo to sell off such products.
I trusted them and used their service to send a very important certificate to my friend . The certificate was totally wet when delivered. I had contacted the customer service asking for an explanation and they didn’t even bother to give one . This was their response “We understand your concern, As per PnD policy , Dunzo is not responsible for any damage or loss of items given to partners. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you here.”. Then who is responsible? They don’t even share the details of delivery partner via app once the order is delivered. The worst service and worst customer support. The delivery partner has stopped picking up my calls after delivering . My certificate is destroyed and clearly no one is responsible.
They won’t take up the responsibility. I am taking them to law for destroying my certificate. Please never ever use this particular service of theirs if you don’t want you documents to be destroyed.
I placed a order at 7:11 am got delivered at 8:46 am . The partner delivery guy said it’s the app fault because the payment I made was not getting updated. I went for support and to my surprise 1) no voice call available 2) the chat people take forever to respond
I pinged them at 8:54 am and got a response back at 7 pm :-) . Adding to that as I did not respond back at 7:03 pm so they closed the ticket . The partner said I picked up the food at 7:45 and delivered by 8:45 and so the food got soggy and cold . The executive named Chandu said next time please order from a nearby restaurant. If we order from a nearby restaurant who will use Dunzo you dumb executives . Anyways done with Dunzo two back to back bad experiences .
I use Dunzo frequently. initially I had issues with partners denying the order as it was less on the amount front. But them things were smooth.
Some stores don’t keep the exact brand as per items(brand wise) listed on Dunzo, now I know that calling the partner and store solves this problem as I get alternatives for the item I order. Overall I guess Dunzo needs to improve the list of items, the generic list doesn’t work for all stores. I actually reported this through chat support to them as well bit looks it gonna need more time.
But I am a happy customer overall hence 5 stars
First when i heard that there is an app which delivers items to your house anytime and within an hour, it actually amazed me. But then i realised that its not good but worst application because the basic idea of this application is pathetic. I have used it twice for now and i have faced two problems:
1. Partner called me and asked me to cancel the order because he said that restaurant was closed but application didnt let me cancel it. So I figured to call the restaurant itself and see if they were actually closed, thats when i found out that restaurant wasnt closed they were preparing food for me. Then i called partner to check up on the restaurant because he wasnt at the location and gave him number of restaurant.
2. Last night i ordered fruits which cost me 96rs after discount and it got delivered. But then this application showed me 294rs outstanding amount because vendor charged me 400+ for the same order. Now the question is why this application showing me different amount, if they could have showed the actual amount then i might haven’t ordered it in the first place.
I think this application can do better and you need figure out how to overcome these issues else just leave.
Hi initially when I came to know about the app it was quite exciting and comfortable then when I tried to log out my account I wasn’t able to so I had to delete the app and I reinstalled it and then logged in to my sisters account to place the order the order was placed I received it everything was good then I wanted to use my log in so when I again deleted the app and reinstalled I wasn’t able to use my login it said that the device is already used for my sisters number...what rubbish is this I have been using this app with my login for a really longtime and now it doesn’t allow me to log in ? Major app issue the log in’s are suppose to be with numbers not device...
I have had multiple negative experiences with Dunzo while ordering food. In one such experience, After raising a complaint for an incorrect pricing, dunzo closed the issue saying that the issue was from Dunzo side and there is no payment pending from my side. After few days, when I was trying to place another order, the older payment appears as pending again magically.
They dont really care about customer experience or about the delivery executives. One time when the delivery executive was handed a different item by the shop than the one I ordered, I refused to take the order. But the delivery executive kept calling me asking my address saying Dunzo has asked him to deliver it. Finally I had to accept it for that guy.
No more food ordering through Dunzo now. Back to the Swiggy and uber eats world.
I wish I could give negative mark. The order was messed up to the core. 3 out of 4 items were wrong and the prices were no where near to the mentioned prices. And the worst part is that when I wrote it to the support, no one responded. I have no idea how does this application has such a high rating here. And I wish and hope that since I did not get an answer through the application from customer support, someone will answer me here. Please please try to take care of your customers.
And if you read the reviews, you will find that there are many bad reviews and still the rating is 5. There is definitely something wrong that these people have done here to get the rating. It is just impossible to get such a good rating with such bad reviews.
Is there any option for zero star rating as well? These people first of all show products which are not available in the store then if you have already paid them in advance and the alternative product costs you less.. then these people don’t refund your the excess amount.. and thinking their customers as fool gives the ARN of the transaction made for the purchase from their app claiming that ARN was meant for refund.. and if we have to make the extra payment, again the deviation which occurred due to product unavailability these people can neither adjust with the amount which they intended to return nor they have provision for credits but they surely block access to using the features of the app..These people just need to mind that their app is running just of customers and befooling them with faulty information and claims thinking them as fools will surely show the place of such foolish and notorious app..
Never seen a service get worse than this with time and more funding.
1) Audacious and arrogant customer support: It takes at least 20 minutes to assign a partner. Once I had to ping asking them why no one’s assigned and only then they registered there is a problem. They just cancel order at their end after making you wait for 30 minutes without sighting any concrete reason (too much demand, being one of them).
2) The app itself seems to degrade with every new version: They have limited options in the app as the time passes by. You can no longer schedule orders in advance, the support chat is not even available before an order is placed (unlike before), the restaurants that are open show as closed when you search in the dunzo app.
I ordered 10rs lays chips packet. The delivery guy bought the 20rs packet. Now dunzo asked me to pay extra for it. Their customer support takes so much time to respond. Till then you cannot order anything else since your payment is pending for an order which you did not even ask for. This is just one example. I have faced similar issues a lot of times. Their partner restaurants and shops are also not good. Difficult to find items at times. Also the price of the items on the app are wrong. They always ask to pay more after billing though i understand hey have mentioned this on their app that these are not the final prices. But the price of a cream or a toothpaste etc will remain same no matter where you order it from. So why show a lesser price? Also your technical team is the worst. App experience is pathetic. Google has invested in your firm, please make better use of that money:
It is very flawed! My first order gave me the worst experience. They basically tell their delivery agents that they have to deliver the order whether the products are in the store or not. Neither you nor he can cancel that part of the order that’s not available. So the delivery agent is forcing you to choose something of more value or an alternate product because he has no other go if he wants to complete the delivery. Half of my order was not available at the store but the delivery agent said he would go to another store since he has to show the receipt to complete the order! It has already become one hour and there’s no system to talk to the company. No reply from the chat support! A good business model in bad hands! I will update on whether I get the product from a good store or if I’ll get my money back at all.
I decided to order pork for lunch. To my surprise had the delivery guy calling me and scolding me why I had to order pork and he didn’t want to deliver it. If I wanted to eat, head to the restaurant he said. I had a heated argument with him told him it was none of his business and if he had issues take it up with dunzo. I immediately reached out to dunzo on chat telling them I didn’t want this guy anywhere near my food, cancel the order. I got a response that they will look into it and then NOTHING happened.
The food was delivered, by this grumpy looking guy who I assume was the lunatic I spoke to. I asked him if he was the guy I spoke to, for which he didn’t have much of any response. I was ready for a fight but luckily for me wasn’t required. I threw the food away. No chance I was going to eat it as am sure the lunatic must have spit in it or tampered with it.
And here I am still waiting for Dunzo customer care to respond.
I cant believe they did nothing about it. They didn’t have the decency to handle it or even call me and anyway sent the lunatic to deliver my food. Its been over an hour, I ordered on Swiggy, they delivered and I finished my lunch and still no response from Dunzo .

Is a very new and useful concept.
There is no end for its vast advantages particularly for those who are not well or senior citizens
I have used dunzo four or five times and astonished at the efficiency and speed ;
Only some times when the partner from dunzo send us a photo or payment, when dunzo was asked to get an item from a shop, which button we have to press to view the photo or how to to see the payment options when dunzo sends, is not clear;
Also some shops are not accepting probably paytm or any other method of payment and only ask for cash and so dunzo partner has to go to an atm and get cash and pay for the item which causes delivery delay
Wanted to get my wife’s Pashmina shawl which she had forgotten at home in Jakkur to be delivered to Domlur where we were going to a wedding. There was three hours for us so we thought that’s enough time.
Registered with the app and even connected it to my Paytm account. After trying some 20 times to enter the pick up and drop location gave up as the message constantly came up that there is error in the order. But there was no suggestion on what the error is. Looked like the app has some problem. So tried to look for a number to call and they don’t have any contact number only email address.
So either the app is nonsense or whatever. But we are not impressed. If something doesn’t help you when you need it most then it’s not good for you even if million others might have used it.
Chanced upon the Dunzo App by sheer luck . Saw it’s branding on the side of the road . I decided to explore this app for the only reason being Big Basket was not giving service which is prompt . Even it’s express delivery slots were atleast 1 day away.
Dunzo has been able to provide support where big Basket has not . Dunzo has provided prompt service within 30-45 mins for smallest of orders .
Till now I have ordered 4 times from Dunzo (including medicines) and every time it has met my expectations including timeline.
I must say I did not order too many products at one go and neither was my products complicated . Those were simple household stuff.
I plan to increase my usage of Dunzo.
I have been a regular of Big Basket but I have been quite often disappointed.
Dunzo has stepped in there with prompt service at short notice for even small items.
Also as of now they don’t charge delivery fees . ( because I am always happy with the service I make it a point to tip the delivery executives )
Only con I feel the app needs to be more seamless. (For example : the app is not letting me submit this review saying nicknames are taken even though I am pretty sure I have a name which is rare ! )
Good going Dunzo. Increase your customer base.
I live this app and am almost a sworn user. It's very convenient to order groceries, meat, or simply send stuff to people using their excellent services. I once sent something for a friend's ill child to a hospital some 6km away. Mostly use them to get groceries. Except for one instance when they took forever to resolve a payment issue of mine, I have no complaints.
The only issues I've faced is that all their partner shops do not have the items listed with the quantity and price. So, you need to really know what you want. Otherwise, a brilliant and addictive service on accy of the convenience.
I placed two continuous orders and I was forced to cancel the order.
1. The food was not available but showed up in the app and when the restaurant person spoke to me he is telling that dunzo did not give him user name and password to make the changes on his menu and made me to cancel.
2. When I placed an order again the bill showed up 100 and after discount I have to pay 50 but after the order confirmation the price went up to 125 and the agent called me and asked me to pay the balance. I asked him the balance I have is 50 after the discount he started laughing at me saying you won’t get food for 50 and he asked me to cancel the order.
Customer service : I was on a chat and I am trying to tell my concern but nobody bothered the continues reply which I got was to pay the balance “frustrating “. Between I got a call and a female spoke to me after me explaining everything she told I am sorry and I understand, I asked her what did you understand? She was blank and transferred my call to another person and he disconnected my call and I tried to communicate via chat they even blocked me on chat.
Humble request to apple: please do not allow they kind of unprofessional application on the App Store.
I did not have an option to give half start rating. You guys do even deserve a single star too.! Mark my words very soon your service will vanish from market.

It seems some brain dead people developed this app. I wonder who the investors are. Must be similar to people who caused the Lehman crisis. Guys, please do yourselves a favour and dump this app.
Do not order food through this app - please. The restaurant is not even aware of your order till the delivery guy reaches the restaurant. And that is after 3 different delivery guys call you and ask for the address of the restaurant and the delivery destination. Can u believe this?
Finally, some delivery guy will reach the restaurant after 30-40 mins and then give the phone to the restaurant guy. You will then repeat your order and they will start preparing. The icing on the cake is that you will be charged way more than the prices displayed on the app. There is more - do not try talking to the customer support guys. They will type a message and disappear for 20 minutes and then ask you for the screenshot of your order. Don’t these guys have access to their own app?
These guys have the worst service.
I think they just simply hire random jobless guys for the pick up and drop.
So My friend had used this app once to deliver me a headphone, which I received in pieces. The guy who dropped the item was from Kerela who could barely talk in English , Hindi or Kannada.
He brought me the broken pieces of my sennheiser headphone and wasn’t even sorry he just blamed it on my friend that he did not give him in a bag, the funny part is he was carrying one bag with him which he should have used it “for the safety purpose”
I think dunzo just gives the task to some random guy who is near the pick up location and who is happening to go near the drop location too.
Sometimes it’s collected by one person and delivered by totally different person, may be someone who is going near the drop location.
So basically it’s just random guys working for some random team who is making money out of people they barely know. Its not safe to use this app. I wouldn’t recommend this app to any one at all.
I see a new version of service from dunzo . Last year i used dunzo to drop off excess food from office to a charitable organisation. Though this was not in their scope then . The pick up person walked that extra mile to ensure the food does not get wasted and reached the needy ppl.
Post that, this year i have grown to be very forgetful:) & using Dunzo pick and drop service to get stuffs from office . Today it was my Laptop :) . I was worried, but i did take the risk and used Dunzo & they turned out to be reliable partner for me today .
Creating a WOW to customer needs that special thinking which i have been experience with Dunzo and keeping that consistent is even challenging, which Dunzo has managed to keep up during all the deliveries that i have requested so far .
Eg : till date i never get a call asking for my location. So precise! when the door bell ring i am fascinated that they get my location right each time since day 1 and thats a consistent WOW for me .
PS : the location service of my present house is very confusing. I struggle everyday with my cab drivers explaining where I live and its time consuming.

When I first heard, loved the concept. Was impressed with my first order as well. Soon started placing orders daily on the app. Now starts the problem. They have really horrible customer support. The only option is through chat and they don’t respond to you for hours. I placed an order for lunch. An hour passed but it was not assigned an agent. Initiated a chat with support, no response for another 90 minutes. Not even a, “we are looking into this acknowledgment.” Just radio silence. The second time, I ordered a combo meal from KFC and they forgot the Pepsi. Reached out to customer support and got a response after 12 hours, “We apologise for the inconvenience”
I would recommend the app for our laziness but don’t plan your day using dunzo. Just not dependable !!
PS: I used the app for around 7 days and will now go back to Swiggy.
I have a job and I also manage the house and I honestly would have a much more difficult time managing everything I need to in Bangalore traffic without this app. I use it everyday. Every. Single. Day. And it costs me next to nothing. I’m so grateful for this app! For those of you that are complaining, I don’t think you’re using it for the right reasons and at the right time.
Only feedback- some runners are starting to call to ask about directions and other questions that are already plugged into the app upon task set up. Your runners are way more efficient than swiggy. Please train them not to ask unnecessary questions.
Its a stupid , waste of time application both for users and the delivery persons who are doing this useless job
I mean if we have such big giants like grofers , bigbaskets in place already doing their jobs so efficiently then why would anyone need any app like this
Today i ordered 2 gulab jamuns from this app . The order got placed without the payment option nothing !!
The delivery reached the location then he clicked the pic and sent me over the app
When i will approve then only he will buy
And then only i will get to know the price and payment option will popup
The place from where i ordered the gulab jamun was just at 5 min distance from mine
But it took around 1.5 hours to reach through this app. Its a total waste of time dear
If your doing something like this just try to build some time efficient solution not more time consuming . Nobody will ever fall for that untill its time efficient !!
Try to keep your partners more updated about the surrounding in which they are going to work so that they dont have to be relied only upon GPS . Like local shopwalas are even more aware of that
