It's good but but can be better
I have been using nearby for like 5-6 years and it's really a very good app but still there is one thing that I don't like which is when I have a voucher and I want to cancel it then I have to make a call to the customer care to cancel it there is no option to cancel the voucher on the app. I would like to suggest there should be an option to cancel the voucher on the app itself so that I don't have to call customer care every time.

Pathetic customer service. It used to be so good but not anymore!
No notifications or SMS or emails are sent at the time of wallet money or promo expiry! And when we call the customer support team, they laugh at your face and say it's your problem, why didn't you see the date of expiry firsthand.
Nearbuy should realise a lot of local players like Shoutlo have come up and they are providing much better value and levels of customer service than your company which is gonna go down to shambles if this is how they keep on treating their loyal customers of 8+ years.

Fake Vouchers being Sold - Asia Kitchen Buffet Lunch
We bought Nearbuy Vouchers & visited the Asia Kitchen - Mainland China restaurant in Ambience Mall DLF Ph3 Gurgaon after a long drive of 24kms but the outlet manager said that they don’t hv any Buffet System in the Restaurant & was surprised how these Vouchers are sold by Nearbuy. He clearly denied to accept the Vouchers so it was a shear waste of time (3hrs) & money spent on driving down 24x2 = 48kms.

Zero responsibility, only mean to sell your vouchers
Nearbuy an app who have zero responsibility, you are only selling vouchers and making fool to peoples. Ever you want to know which restaurant’s vouchers are you selling to your customers those restaurants are treating your guests well. Many restaurants are treating your guests like beggars. They didn’t provide the deals as mentioned in your app. They serve the food so rudely as they are giving free of cost. One of the restaurant is OUT OF THE BOX, Khan Market giving this experience to nearbuy’s customers. This is my suggestion if these type of practices are doing by restaurants why you are listed on your apps. I faces these type of problems many time. You have to take strict action against OUT OF THE BOX, Khan Market.

Glamzone Global hair colour booking
Hi, i had booked a global hair colour coupon for my beauty services from Glamzone sector 35D Chandigarh. The person insisted me to take other beauty services. I had been there after consulting my beauty expert about the colour and they forced me to buy more colour editions such as base colour with baby highlights and added the charges near about 4/5k and when I refused to get other additional services they behaved very rude. The two hours at that salon were very pathetic for me. Worst experience ever with this nearbuy coupon. The staff attend only customers without coupons and deals. Do not ever book services through nearbuy.

Neither I got the coupon nor a confirmation message/notification from nearbuy that there is a failure in their servers and money will be auto debited. Pathetic service. Stores use low quality products if Nearbuy is involved
Several times I found that many of the stores are not happy if a customer is coming from nearbuy deal. They either use cheap quality products (it’s like show something but use something else) or ask to pay them directly from next time onwards.
Also I have found that they have inflated prices on Nearbuy but their store prices are little less.

I am writing this review due to extreme dismay towards the service and committment of nearbuy. I was assured that cancelled voucher money will be credited to my source account within 9 business days, but its been 20 days above the committment days and funds have not been credited. Had bad experience with Restuarant
I didn’t got the deal which was shown for 3 people 1 is free.
Food was pathetic n more over staff was working like they had not been paid for months. No proper serving no proper food. Only on name of chef INDIAN BBQ is working. Prawn served were so over cooked that we finally left it, noodle were half cooked. For simple lime I had to wait for 10 min. Which waiter Chandan forgot to give. Till the end we had not got mushroom and for veg it’s hell. Paying so much we had sev Puri.

I received a voucher worth 500 when I redeemed it the offer i selected it was showing the voucher was successful but as I completed the payment i received the most cheapest product while changing the entire thing. Disappointed would never recommend to anyone. Try to avoid such scams.

50% cancellation charges
I had purchased some vouchers of a restaurant and didn’t use it. When asked for cancellation and refund that deducted 50% and tha balance was not transferred to me back. That credited to the nearbuy account and asked me to spend the amount, stating I will not get my money back, only option is to spend on nearbuy. I lost nearly 1500 this way hope that the management changes the policy or else people quit using your nearbuy, like I did.

I had been to Absolute Barbeque, Marathahalli outlet with a coupon purchased thur Nearbuy app and it was redeemed as well but I don’t get any extra discount mentioned in their app ( Nearbuy). AB guys accepted the coupon but also charged extra amounts as per their rate card on buffet menu. So there is no point in buying their services here. Instead pay directly to the restaurant!!

I bought a kabab wrap voucher of Mcdonald’s on 13 Oct on Nearbuy and went to the outlet to redeem it. To my surprise the counter person told that kabab wrap has been discontinued since past 3 months..🤣 why the hell Nearbuy is not updated? I saw the offer listing, went ahead, bought it successfully (my money gone). Now, outlet people are not ready to redeem it at all..i am at lose..!!

I purchased a coupon here. The restaurant was closed and we could not use the coupon. On calling the support team they stated that the coupon was not applicable for festival. My question is why do they even have a voucher for the festival day which will get expired on the same day. Moreover when we asked them to return the money they said they will credit it to my wallet with a condition mentioned that the credit has to be used within 30 days . What if I don’t want to use within 30 days and most importantly after this experience how do near buy expect that I will be interested to buy coupon from them. This was really disappointing. We should ban such apps. I believe for being a successful app you should work on customer expectation. A real disgust to use such apps. Disappointed with misleading strategy
Been using the app to buy deals regularly. In September 2019 they announced me as one of the winners of Winanza but even after repeated follow-up they are not responding to my query on when they will send the prize. Which makes one wonder whether they are serious when announcing the contests are it’s just a hogwash to drive up the sales. Very disappointed with their business strategy....

Good App to get near by deals
It Provides information about multiple deals like restaurants, shopping and saloon etc..also allows us to purchase the coupons which you can directly redeem them in the respective stores..

1-The offers shows list of places but not all of them are listed - i understand due to space limitation we might have this issue but its better to write central suburb and western + mention the name of outlets that are NOT INCULDED TO AVAIL THE OFFER

Unhappy with reminder notifications and cancellation policy
I never received reminder notifications on the expiry of my voucher and very conveniently the nearbuy team deducted 50% off my voucher credit without notifying me. When I called to ask why the reminder notifications are not being sent like earlier they didn’t have an answer to that and said they will not reverse the deducted amount. Very bad way of not sending reminder notifications on expiry dates and deducting from credits too.

I made a booking for a place and it was closed forever.
I made two bookings for Boheme Bar & Grill, Saket using my discount vouchers and after reaching there found that place was closed forever. I even called multiple times before going but numbers mentioned were not reachable.

Absolutely Crap
Firstly your registered partners refuses to give services on cancellation money is refunded in forms of Nearbuy credit which only has a validity of 15 days. It’s a trap of fooling customer, on contacting customer care, response is sorry we can’t help. Idiotic at is best.

Worst experience, FRAUD transaction
I never thought that being soo much loyal to this app , they would in return take money from my card and wont give me wowcher. Infact after trying to connect to them 20 times over call all there lines were busy. Wrote 5 emails but no reply came. Very very pathetic customer service. Dont rely they just know how to take ur money and not give services or even solution to anything as they are busy fooling people and debiting money from account.

Bluffs
You say new offers but there are none. I purchase with you guys every month and the offer % changes but price remains the same. For eg: your Message says get 63% off on Salón service so when I open the app, hair cut which has a discount but there is no price change. For eg: I have been buying a hair cut coupon from JUICE and pay 499/- no matter what ... And so many times the Studio 11 staff asks me to pay them directly instead of buying a coupon with you... So give a correct prize, customers will be more loyal to you!!

Extremely poor service
I have very bad experience with this app. I tried to call around 50 times but got no response. Money was debited from my account but I didn’t get any coupon due to fault of app. And no customer service was available . Never gonna use it

Worst Customer service ever!
I came across this app due to a friend’s referral and the offers were quite enticing.
But there was a problem with my booking and I had to cancel it (which said “Free Cancellation).
They sent me a text saying I would get account credits for the same amount within 5-7 working days and that never happened.
So I wrote 5/6 emails to them telling them my problem and tried calling their customer care numbers. But both have been unresponsive.
They don’t reply to the emails and the number doesn’t work. I would highly recommend everybody to not use this app!
This was the only way to bring this to your attention as your customer service is pathetic. Please do something to help me get my money back that you guys have wrongfully been holding.

CHEATING PEOPLE BY DEDUCTING PAYMENT AND THEN NO RESPONSE
They have started cheating customers by deducting payment and then neither giving vouchers nor refunding the money.
They have disabled their Chat option for lodging complaints. Also customer care number is always not available. Only option is sending email for which after an automated response … no call back or resolution to your complaints.

E-fraud on nearbuy
Someone used my nearbuy credits to buy gift cards of bookmyshow and max fashion. I contacted customer care and addressed my grievance and told about unauthorised transaction but they told me to go to cyber crime cell and didn’t entertained my problem. I was working in office and I got the message of couchers purchased today at 10:17 AM. I was shocked but nearbuy dont care about customers. Those vouchers are non cancellable. Why nearbuy even put non cancellable vouchers on their website. If someone faces the problem of e-fraud he/she should have option to cancel and get refund. I think its nearbuy team itself doing this kind of hacks.

Healthians worst experience ever
This is first and will be my last experience with healthians. I always book dr Lal path labs but thought of taking test from healthians . I paid the amount through my debit card on 10 th and I have the details also .But after taking the blood samples they messaged after 6 hours that samples are put on hold due to payment issue .and the guy name azhar from company called and said we don’t have any nearbuy application. It’s like cheating people. I called them so many times to check and told them my problem but they kept on saying that u will recieve a call within 10 minutes which no one called back . I have wasted my money on it .purchased and still refused . It’s a cheating and will take it to further step now . I have the details will take an action against them . It’s like cheating people online .

Sham App
Initially, when it was Groupon and for some time as Nearby - the app had some meaning, now its a con site with almost every vendor refusing to give you appointments the second you share that you hold a NB voucher. I am stuck with 1000 bucks with them for a year now and still not able to spend it. So much so that even after buying a Shoppers Stop Voucher - the store shocked me by sharing that there’s no money loaded on the GV ! . I truly regret having transacted with Nearbuy. Rather than saving time it is killing your time for nothing at all.

Fed up with the services! Nearby customers are never treated well at a property!
Please ask the all the listed service providers on your app to not ask the customers to pay in cash and not use the nearby app for future!
No matter what service I avail, be it a salon or a restaurant! All the property owners are like - Sir! Why do you buy coupons from nearby! Walkin directly and tell us the deal and pay in cash the same amount but not use nearby!
Dude! Nearby is the reason that I got to know about your salon or restaurant and now you tell me not to use the app!!
Nearby! You need to work with your service providers with some strict business policies that they do not try to spoil your brand value for their own business which is actually because of the marketing done by nearby!

Bad customer service and fake promises
I had purchased baskin robbin deal for the 2 regular scopes and paid the amount via app . However , the merchant was not able to redeem the voucher and I was ended up with paying the amount again at the store only.. nearbuy chat never works and upon calling they just denied the cancellation and told that the amount can’t be reimbursed. The resolution provided to me was of no avail and it can be said that the the app is now looting people and nothing else . Rs 210 completely wasted ..

Customer support misguided
Just had a word with Padma regarding cashback which I was not available not get at the time of payment in a restaurant. She suggested to mark an email with bill copy but when I asked what would be the outcome she said I am afraid because so many days has been passed.
Then I asked will you be able to process this and I enquired by reframing by my questions then she replied you won’t get the cashback
I am disappointed why she asked me to follow the entire process by sending an email when she was so sure that I won’t get the cashback

Terrible services
We were given an appointment for another location (novotel juhu) and upon reaching there we were told to go to a spot about 10 kilometres away from there or cancel. We ended up having to travel there, and on top of that were made to wait another 20 or so minutes, after which the anyway lacklustre services were given. It was a couple spa booking and the entire experience was ruined with the extra travel and waiting which got us late for the further items we had planned.

Major Drawback
I bought a beauty coupon for Vikas Marwah’s salon in Lokhandwala. Planned my day and went to the outlet to get to know that they don’t do beauty services in Lokhandwala and asked me to come to either Malad or Bandra. I bought the coupon from that particular store outlet and later I got to know about that it is mentioned in the ‘Things to Remember’ section. This is a major UX problem which wasted my time and money. I am sure many would face the same. Until today I thought this was a great app but this issue needs to be fixed for better user experience.

i recently installed nearbuy app and somehow location service is not working on app which is strange as users are expected to use nearby deals and offers !

Poor service!
I bought 4 vouchers before a month and half, and as per the offer I was supposed to get 20% cash back (vouchers) within a month of using this vouchers. After a month (actually twice) I tried to contact nearbuy guys via contact number mentioned within the app and in-app chat, no response! I thought this app is no more working and suddenly noticed upgrade on the way! I hope, at lease someone from nearbuy read this review and help me to get my cash back!
