I have been encountering this issue for a really long time now, how hard it is to auto rotate your application? Its not something like a book reading application that forcing portrait be good on it, meant for content consumption this app should at least rotate to landscape even if not watching anything and only browsing. Moreover the application has bugs which often cause it to close itself (dont know what causes it).
Its worst app i have ever seen..if anyone wants to get frustuated just use this app once..the job is done.. Too much of lagging buffereing adds

Recently I renewed voot app by paying extra annual fee through appple. Fooling custody not telecasting on Jio networks though Jio collected advance money in their plan.
At least with extra money mirroring through mobile to tv shall be allowed. Please address this issue

I downloded the mobile app and immediately purchased the select pack to watch La Liga.
I don't know what account voot made at the time of purchase since I didn't have to sign in at all.
I tried connecting the app to my tv but none of my linked accounts had the special pack. I logged out of my mobile app to see if I can find out which account I've made the purchase from, but it didn't show any. Now I am locked out of the account that had the special pack purchased and I don't know which account it is. I tried logging in with all my accounts but none of them are the one with the pack. It appears that voot simply creates a guest account which cannot be accessed anywhere else. I couldn't even pay for another subscription because apple has the record of my previous subscription, but voot doesn't.
It's a shame La Liga chose voot for broadcasting its matches. I don't think I'll ever be using this app ever.
I only got voot select recently because it’s the only place in India to watch halo but soon realised it was the only thing worth watching on the platform and the rest was all Hindi contact with a few exceptions like shark tank. The recent update to the app broke a lot of functionality like being able to select language options for audio but now the option appears to be missing on both mobile and PC browser instead the shows are split into their language specifics. Further I can’t find the option to download shows when there’s a downloads section for already downloaded shows.
Its a hassle to watch big boss on voot! I am watching big boss since sept 2020 , it was fine then.. but since last month there is huge lagging issue on the app. Everytime I start watch the unseen footage.. it will give me the 1007 , 1005 errors. And while I am on Wi-Fi, it will show “poor connection “ and start buffering. If I switch to mobile data.. it will freeze and stop. Again need to relaunch the app.. go all the way down again to the episode and find the problem again after5-10 mins!!! I use the iOS 15 on my iPhone 11. Recently updated the voot app.. but no use! Team, please look into this asap
I have been watching a lot of serials on Voot for a couple for months now and I am facing a lot of network issue where if I am connected to my mobile data (not to the wifi) still the device shows offline mode.... Also I would like to complaint that while watching on iPad the Voot app only opens on portrait mode so the developers must develop the compatibility of the app for landscape mode to run on the iPads. Pls make sure that we the Voot users don't face this kind of issue. And also to make it clear I am a Voot select subscriber so pls make it easier for me so that I don't need to write a bad review as even I like the content of Voot but just if a more work would be done on the app it would be great.
I know having an option of premium account , saves u from ads and all, but seriously , at every interval of 5 minutes non- skippabae 30 sec ads , that too 2?! I mean the viewers and users seriously are getting fed up of this thing of your app, and thats why the viewership has gone down too , and will get worse if u wont rectify and change this . 1 30 sec ad along with a skipable ad is justifable , but not the same stupid ad all the time , atleast have different ads too , it really frustrates and irritated the user , i had been a premium subscription user , then switched to normal usage, but soon if this problem won’t be solved , i would uninstall the app , and if the app makers and developers don’t feel interested for even 1 user uninstalling their app, then this carefree attitude won’t rest them with anything good in the future , bet on that !!
The app is overall good but if the person who don’t know Hindi then it’s waste you can’t watch your favourite serial or movies from Bollywood the reason is subtitle will not be there to watch.I have been raising the issue multiple times but no upgrade they updating the new version of Voot but the main issue isn’t sorted out very disappointed in that case. As a humble request kindly please provide subtitle for all serial and for all movies, but not only for recent one .If Voot update update with subtitle then the app will be the perfect one 😍or else openly I am sharing it ,it will be imperfect.
A total scripted and baised show which is biggboss where they target a guy so much and played with health , they questioned their profession because he was deserving and likely to win season but there is there fixed winner decided by channel they don’t want her to lose so they decided to evict a particular person who was going to win and who is exposing their channel and their planning, this is such a toxic show and this platform is promoting this kind of show where they are playing with mental health. This platform and this channel and show should be ban. If you don’t want any outsider in the industry thn don’t invite them for humilation … shame on this platform and this channel , show and host ..
Such a bad app. The video pauses and the audio keeps on playing. No matter how many times I reopen the app or restart the video all over again, the problem remains the same. What a Junk. It kept on saying poor connection but at the same time, I am able to watch movies on Netflix with the same network lol. Total junk. I used to use Voot a lot and never faced such repetitive problems before. Hope this gets solved soon.
I have download bigg boss episode and still always it is showing something went wrong error. Even if i am deleting the download and trying to watching on voot app through online still same error is showing. Ur app doesn’t even stands a chance in front of other hig class apps like disney hotstar, prime video, or Netflix. Do something abt it rather than just taking the annual subscription fee one time and then fall on to sleep. Ridiculous
Voot was good till 2 days back ..suddenly something went wrong message cropped up and I was not able to watch favourites..I reinstalled the app and it’s asking to become a subscriber and if I click on that it shows my subscription is active but further displays my transaction failed anything and if you click already a subscriber- restore clicking doesn’t help at all I wrote 3-4 mails to the contact number ..issue not resolved and further I purchased 1 more year subscription you are all set message came but still the problem persists

Whenever I watch a live football game on your tv app, after every 5-7 minsthe stream automatically goes behind the live coverage and the button (go to live) appears on the bottom right corner of the stream. One had to click on it to get into sync with live coverage. My internet speed is of 300 mbps so that can’t be the issue. All of my friends who use your app to watch live football games experience this same issue. Kindly look into this as it is really brining then user expect down for your app
This is a feature request.
The user is already registered using email id and have purchased voot select plan. Now, for easy login in other devices using OTP, the user wants to login using mobile number. But in the current iOS app, there is no provision to add mobile number for this purpose.
Please add this support so that there is no need to share email id password with friends/family.
Sometimes the app works fine...but maximum times unable to watch the shows and some innumerable errors occur “something went wrong” is the error when I try to watch the shows!!
This happens especially when I try to watch Bigg Boss.
Developers please look into this matter and try to fix the bug until then uninstalling this app as it is of no use!!!!

Today, when it showed Poor network connection message, I ran a speed test and the DL speed was full 30 MBPS which means that the server wasn't sending any content to app.
I have the voot membership and still there are so many issues with the application. The episodes stuck way too much, and my wifi os working perfectly fine since all other apps are working smoothly, the only issue seems to be with VOOT.
In yesterday’s episode of BB the video gets stuck at 7-8 seconds but audio continues to play. I have tried deleting and reinstalling app still no improvement at all.

You should be ashamed that you are charging customers for the worst possible OOT streaming service on the market. I understand how things work in the back end, and this is clearly a server side issue. I’d like to have my subscription money back.

They have some of the best content in the TV industry from colours channel, but their paid streaming service is worst. Never seen any app for that matter acting this bad. First of all it’s slow and after it starts the quality keeps changing and most of the time plus blur videos even when ur internet speed is more than 50mbps and only session going on is voot. Especially the problem is multi fold when you watch big boss I believe the server is overloaded and not capable of servicing the customer base. Paid subscription is a comedy actually. You pay for it as if it’s a donation and it works randomly and cannot relay on it. I strongly suggest to fire the head of software for voot and hire someone competent.
there is something really wrong with your subscription plan, even though my plan is till 31st of October 2021, why did a new subscription start in middle? It’s June! This happened without my knowledge and I request you a refund immediately!

Hi people, please do not buy subscription, I bought the subscription using my iPhone and their was no login details to login on other devices, I emailed them as that’s the only option to contact them and it’s been 15 days and what they did is asked me to sign out and sign in using Apple ID and now I can’t use it on phone also, and Voot team has still not got back even after trying to contact them everyday for 15 days. Please be careful. Please do not buy . Watch it after 24 hrs only or use telegram for free. Paying and not getting service is not fair. Voot should be banned for the pathetic service and just looting money from people. I have given up on them. Please try to watch other ott apps.
I am trying to watch the latest episodes of BB13 however its not a pleasant experience. ADs appear after every couple of minutes making it worst and difficult to keep the interest intact. I understand you make money out of it but there has to be a limit to it. If the developers are so greedy for money then they have the option of making it a paid app. Also every time it features two ADs which are last for more than a minute without the skip option. Just takes away all the fun of watching a show by making it extremely annoying. Its high time the makers look into it and find a solution.

The video playback on live shows is sluggish. But the content is amazing here. I mean even after big boss is over, I’d like to remain subscribed as they have amazing show time series, documentaries and there is no lack of a variety of content. I highly recommend it. I believe you can make six profiles with one account. This is a steal at 499 for six months or 12 months whatever they charge. I use with my tv also. However native app of LG on webos gives issues so I have to use via fire stick which is a bit lengthy but works. I have 2 accounts with voot.
1. Hangs while streaming any episode if a phone call comes in between , or if you dial any call. Need to reopen the app.
2. While streaming the latest episode being aired the same night , the timeline can’t be seen ; in short only what is being shown can be seen. Earlier version had a timeline , which could be watched by moving the slider.
Please get the old version back. I have it on my other phone and it’s way smoother than this one.
Last year I watched all the episodes of bb on voot . But this year no episodes can be seen , there are only uncut and other clippings of 2 -2 min but not full episode . For that I have to google and google again direct me to voot where i can see the episodes. Why it is happening like that ? Last year when I used to open voot , the first screen use to carry that bigg boss heading from where you can directly go to bb episodes but this it only has voot and kids heading. Please do something.
Guys, this is one of most irritating app I’ve ever installed. The worst part is even after yearly subscription, 90% times I open and it keeps on with error 7000 and if not it comes up with their own shows advertisement. If you take subscription it says you could connect maximum 5 devices, but still if you watch some on firestick and later if you open iPhone voot app it most of the time pops with error 7000 after long wait of buffer. I don’t get the point that do they even test it. I seriously doubt, I’m thinking not to renew subscription next time waste of money it’s way better to change habit to watch voot or Colors shows than to subscribe this scrap application!! Sheer disappointing!!
One can simply not watch the content with a good experience because of the technical errors, the app always hangs on an Ad, you can’t skip an Ad, It wouldn’t be wrong to say that, they have more of the Ad Content than the actual content that should’ve!
For an hour of screen time of a show or a film, this app provides Ads over 30-45 minutes in total! Feels like you Ppt to watch the Ads and the actual show is sponsored! Extremely poor user experience of watching ads while primary objective is to watch the content

I have tried numerous times to subscribe the plans but at the time of payment it does not process further and decline the payment with the reason i.e. your card transaction declined due to ........ and it’s not with me it’s with others also.

I dont know whats wrong with this app but working of this app does not match with the level of content it provides developers should work on it it suddenly gives errors in video playbacks its layout is a bit messy and it takes lot of time to search for episodes and playback is not good at all no doubt content this app contains is nice but whats the use if we are unable to watch it easily without any errors sometimes it keeps on playing ad and in background the audio of episode keeps going and then it crashes so it needs major bug fixes and improvements i gave it three stars because of its content otherwise talking about this app its nots worthy to give three stars so its my request to please look after it as it will make easy for us to use this app
Very stupid app, where to begin. I will get tired if I start the list. Firstly the voice goes on in the background but video doesn’t appear and a black screen can only be seen. Updated many times but still same issue. In the update they say bugs fixed but still same happens every single time. Very annoying. Not able to skip the video. For skipping video only 10 skip works even if I drag the pointer of the timing. Also the payment thing. They accept only card payments but if I try from a card number that is not in my name it doesn’t accept the payment. Also I cannot try from google pay that is installed in another mobile. At last I paid my friend to get the payment done from his account and I logged in from his account in my mobile. Worst experience ever. Used so many apps but this just tests your patience. I am shocked how this got 4.4 rating. 1yr back this app was really good may be that’s why. Please don’t bring another update if u can’t solve this issue. Facing this from 4-5 months.
This is the 3rd time I am raising issue for Voot application. I have monthly subscription of 99/- which I can use via phone. But when I try to sign up or login to my tv it doesn’t give me option to login or sign up via mobile no and it ask me for email id. Again email id option has some issue I guess as it doesn’t accept any changes or updates and there is no option to login with mobile number on tv and email id option is also not working at all. I am not sure how can I access my Voot app on my tv. I have not taken subscription to watch the series on my phone. So pls look into this asap. If I can login to my tv then it’s good to go else refund my money. I also tried login via url provided by Voot itself on tv but that also does not work at all. I don’t know what kind of app Voot developer team has designed and why they have launched this app on tv when there are lot of issues with this app. Look into my matter asap and resolve this before my subscription expires.
I have highlighted this issue already and answer was very silly as they are saying due to current scenario they could not upload on time then why do you still show that 24 hours before tv on voot select?? voot select app it says tv shows will appear in app 24 hours before but in reality it used show up somewhere in the morning. Now it has become more worst and it is not even showing up in the morning..I don’t see any advantages of subscribing to voot select as I can directly watch the shows on TV. I wanted to give zero rating but could do it. I am going to delete this app once my subscription period ends!! Worst experience ever!!
This is an absolutely appalling experience. I wanted to watch Sanjay Kapoor‘s latest program and after a long day at work i open this app for some entertainment and I see that the app has forgotten my subscription plan. I had subscribed for a one year plan through Apple and the plan is active when I go to Apple subscription in settings but the app does not recognise my login credentials. The forgot password option doesn’t seem to work I do not know how these guys have got 4.4 star rating and they don’t have a proper help or support Centre, contacting them seems to me like contacting an alien in outer space!
I have 7 binge apps on my phone and all with paid subscription including Voot . After a hectic schedule a man wants to come home and watch his season . But then he finds either the video is not playing or if one is lucky enough then voice won’t work . So many bugs, worst app ever . No customer support nothing . And if you will complain then they will say it’s network error. All other 6 apps are working fine but when I open voot then there’s a network error so tell me is there any grudge between the network and the Voot ? No one takes the responsibility, they will be just doing good before you pay your subscription fees , after that no response and no rectification of problem .
Would like to point out the number of adds any normal user have to watch if they want to watch any videos. Even if there are options to skip the add and user selects it the add keeps playing in the fore ground and the episode is also playing simultaneously in the back ground. The only way user can get back the episode is by stopping the video and playing it again. Once user does this they have to watch all the adds again. The resume function never works properly. I would request the channels who are on this app to please invest in better quality app for hassle free viewing for users.
I have selected a 3-day trial for voot select. I wanted to try a few initial episodes of new voot select original series. But turns out, they aren’t at all visible even, let alone available be. So is it like they are not available for trial period consumers ? I just have this doubt. Because I am anyway going to subscribe, but if the series are taken down, i would rethink of getting subscription. Please clarify this doubt. Thanks.
Guys can u have a little less ads...I mean it feels like an watching shows on TV where we get those commercials breaks...you are the only streaming app that adds in like dozens of ads after every 10 minutes of watching a video...please it’s very very annoying to see them every now and then..there’s hotstar too which is an indian streaming app but those guys don’t have sooooooo many ads like you..why can’t u do something about it..
I mean I most of the times stop watching the show just because of this reason..and I open the app rarely like once in months sometimes just because this reason...you guys will loose on viewers if u keep annoying us with ads and ads and ads.!!!
Binge watch after a long time. Inspite of the incredibly higher quality of foreign shows that Netflix has, baring Breaking Bad, it's always the Hindi thrillers or crime drama that keeps me more hooked.
This was recommended highly by pals and I would recommend further. Some parts of it has been shot in really really rich fashion. The story is really gripping, performances excellent and the narration, flash back parts been top draw.
Though the last 3 episodes didn't stand up to the epicness of first 5, still splendid watch.
It's really compelling and not to draw any comparison with Mindhunters, but Asur does try to understand the criminal quite beautifully. His misplaced rationale from mythological beliefs are in a way wrongs that are too prevalent today, in different levels.

Good quality app...but there r too many ads in the entire episode after every 5-6 mins...we prefer watching here without the disturbance of advertisements but we face it here same n there are 2 advertisements after every 5-6 minutes n that too of 30-40 seconds in which I feel like not watch anything more...starting of episode 2 advertisements after 5-6 minutes 2 advertisements...plz I request u to keep advertisements after every 10-12 mins n upto 3-4 advertisements break cuz it’s too irritating to watch more advertisements. It feels not to watch anything
I have 5-6 episodes of bigg boss download on my phone and Recent updates makes it all go away.. why?? Is it a new app or what ??
This app is so bad you can’t even check out the show without seeing thousands of back to back ads you can’t forward or reverse the show without ads popping in between now you have to wait for them to end and only to see that you are not where u wanted to be if you again try to forward or reverse the episode boom again ads
That’s why I downloaded bigg boss now it’s all gone just because of this stupid update.
You should make some changes don’t take advantage of people you literally force them to watch ads really pathetic app I have ever used...
and I forgot my password still not able to reset it after many many tries now I have to use my husbands account.
Recent update to the app made it poor. While casting it to chrome cast using my iPhone 7 plus, the program hangs within a second of casting and frequently tries to reconnect.
First when I found this happening, I thought my internet had some issues and I get it checked thoroughly.
But then I found that there was an issue with the app and not with my Internet connection. I think The latest update made it poor. I would recommend get the app checked properly and make sure it works fine.
1. No easy navigation to all episodes. Lets say I have to start watching a new serial, then we will have to scroll through all the episodes to get to the first episode. episodes are sorted by latest first option only and its really pathetic exp to everytime scroll down that list of episodes. There could be other sorting options shown to us to list episodes of a season.
2. There is no link available to currently watching videos, very painful to go through the trouble #1 again and resume from the point where i previously stopped watching
3. there is no skip 10 seconds option in player so difficult to forwad or rewind the video.,
4. I see there is no way to send feedback from app., there could be some feedback form or support mail id, it would always be a quick way to know what the users think and want.
Whenever I’m watching my offline episodes....in the middle of the episode the app gets closed automatically.....like 1 sec I’m watching an episode and another second I’m out of Voot.....and then it does not open until I uninstall it and then install it again.....also after installing and signing in my account....the downloaded videos are gone....I’m using iPhone 6....if that helps in solving the above issues....I hope u guys will look into this...I got the same issue 5 times this week.....how am I supposed to enjoy ur app when it does not open....it shows the purple screen saying Voot....and again out of the app in 1 second...please do something regarding this as soon as possible....because I love this app and it’s not working....not even opening....

Many time face issue of offline videos are not getting played,only loading....once downloaded any episode and try to watch offline within 6 days validated period..it’s not opening it..only showing loading icon..which is lost of mobile data in GBs and bad experience when you are addicted to watch certain shows and face these kind of issues..I m using iPhone 6 with Vodafone network with latest iOS platform
When I am seeing a movie or any episodes if I miss a part of that one it very hard to rewind and forward. Because it is not having a forward and reverse button. It is only having a loading bar by using that bar only we can forward and rewind the videos.
It is very difficult to do that perfectly so you just introduce a forward and reverse option manually without the use of the time loading bar.

Really good app for entertainment. But the quality of video doesn’t change according to network.
01. Unlike Netflix, if video is started with low quality video, it’ll continue till the end. A
02. There must be an option to pause or escape video during ad. If the add is for 1 minute we will not have an option to pause it or escape the video and go to another one without watching the whole minute of ad. This is sometimes irritating. Of course don’t give an option to skip video but we should be able to pause it for inevitable things like Azaan!
There are two important issues in Voot I would like to bring your attention to-
1) When we finish watching certain episode or movie in between and think to watch the left part later, it doesn’t give us a choice to resume it from where we left ! It’s very annoying to begin it from starting and find the minutes or second we left it at.
2) There are times when are addicted to watch a particular show, so that’s our choice, I suggest there should be category which should show our “most watched” in that category and so it’s easy for us to resume!
I hope u guys will take some action to this!
User interface is very rich but I though quality of user experience very poor. User every time choose skip and again and again intro screen are appread. When video streaming so app stuck or hang after 15-20 mins of play video. Even downloaded feature doesn’t works as expected, even start downloading from beginning every time for the same video, downloaded video showing loading icon continuously and nothing play. Need to work on this.
I am also doing iPhone app developer so I can say very poor quality of app learn quality from Hotstar app to improvement part
Voot App is nothing extraordinary. No Live program. After changing the app so many times it still lack basic features. Just because the Channel wouldn’t distribute through any other medium, all program lovers have no other way than forcing the users to use voot. Nothing streams Live. User experience is the biggest problem & done without thinking of the user. Don’t know when the monopoly of distribution will be made keeping the user in mind. Bad forced development should be stopped. It’s still has bugs & also freezes sometimes. Please do the needful so that it improves. Do add live streaming.
