Might be their best release yet.
It is no secret that NCT have one of the best discographies in Kpop but I feel like in this album the boys really let go of any restrain that they had upon themselves.
By now almost all the members have had at least some experience in the industry, but the latest additions to the group – Sungchan and Shotaro, are such good assets to the group. Sungchan who sounds like he’s confident and sure of his flow, Shotaro, who might be one of the best dancers in the industry atm. While Shotaro might not have a lot of lines in the songs, but he makes an impact during the performances, quite literally entrancing the viewers with his performances.
Starting with New Axis itself was so bomb, it set a bar, a standard for just HOW GOOD the rest of the album was going to be.
I’m so pleasantly surprised to see how good Jaemin sounds, we’ve watched Jeno’s growth start from We Boom, but Na Jaemin really, really let go of himself in this album. His part of Birthday Party, might be my favourite.
Vocals – of course, being from SM Entertainment, I can tell a deaf person with 100% confident that any one from this group will NOT disappoint them if they heard them.
This album was so cohesive, the songs just make sense, the tracklist is put together SO WELL, listening to this on shuffle should be a crime.
All the members - all 21 of them did SO well, I’m so happy that I got a chance to listen to this album.
Quick mention of my favourite, loml’s WayV. I’m SO happy that SM finally realised just how GOOD Yangyang is! He’s been killing it! Yangyang is a gem and I’m glad that SM Entertainment is realising that. Yangyang’s rap game? The strongest. Performance? He DELIVERS! Singing? He can do that as well. Entertaining? Can pass as a Gen-Z rep. Funny af. Promo material? Definitely! He can speak 5 languages for god’s sake!
WayV as a unit has so much potential. Their team bond is the BEST, they just fit so well together, more than half of the members speak English and their sexy songs?! Give them an English album omfg
