I remember 'Style' from Sivaji, wondered what made AR to compose that song for a superstar movie. Hated the entire Sivaji album in the first week of launch. But now, 'Style' is the only one song from sivaji that is still in my playlist (9 Years after launch).

This is AR Rahman! - Perhaps the only one composer who dares to do such things. We (Both fans and others) expect a stereotypic Rahman (I have seen some people still asking him to give something like Roja, Bombay and many in 90s) always, but what he delivers will be always DIFFERENT. There is no single Rahman album where he delivered exactly what his fans expected. He experiments' to the core. From the brilliant opening of 'Pudhu Vellai Mazhai' to the unstructured 'Mei Nigara' the music is alway NEW!!! That is why he is still in music market! That is why still we love his music! That's why we call him 'GENIUS'.

Brillian arrangements, cool new sounds, fabulous performance by singers and ofcourse 'Mei Nigara' makes 24 a good album! But not even close to his recent 'CLASSIC' - Ok Kanmani!!!

My picks:

1) Naan Un - a sweet melody interspersed with goosebumpy orchestral upheavals

2) Punnagaye - sounds generic and slightly trippy at first but is actually a very typical Rahman composition

3) Kaalam En Kadhali - had 'first off the blocks’ advantage and is energetically addictive coz of its anthem-like feel.

Sucha scintillating album which is a trendsetter with the experimentation of new sounds..which is really getting u to an addiction state without your knowledge...ARR anyday God of music!!!!

"Naan Un Azhaginilae" - this one song is enough to make every other music director to stay grounded! A.R.Rahman is born to create magical tunes, period. The album has his signature written allover with some free-flowing experimentation where he is always at his best...Do buy it!!!

Trend in 2030, Rahman sir also traveled in time machine i think. How can he innovative in last 20+ years? All the songs are nice, all we need in the correct situation for understand this tracks. "Mei Nigara” awwwwwwesooooomeeeeeeee…….

This album has one of the most advanced tunes with new beats and stuffs without any reference of his previous albums these last 24 years is itself a brilliant achievement. Coming to the album review, kaalam yen kadhali an hi-tech fusion EDM track with a catchy tune is already a hit among youngsters. Now that whole album is released its hard to pick one as an stand out number. So i picked two, naan un and mei nigara both are equally good melody as well as peppy and very trendy in recent times. Sid and arijit have done their job well and music has been so trendy from rahman ji. Aarariraro lullaby by shaktishree made my sleep last night in the first listen very useful for an insomniac like me lol. Twin brother theme is a buildup song used in movie as a bgm and that sounds very intense like an graph up and down beats are mindblowing. Punagaye is a usual stereotype melody which has already gotten into the top charts i heard. Overall an album of new trend and variety tracks once again from rahman ji. Go for it. Aayushmaan Bhav!
