Breezy, poppy and soulful cuts enliven the Tamil romcom

Indian composer, lyricist and singer Sean Roldan isn’t only celebrated for his extensive work on Tamil movie soundtracks—he’s also known for his penchant of weaving blues, jazz and pop motifs into his tunes. He exemplifies this approach as he takes listeners on a roller coaster of moods on his OST for 2026 Tamil coming-of-age rom-com With Love. The soundtrack boasts groovy bops like “Aiyo Kadhaley” and “Ennai Polave” alongside slower songs like the smoky, sax-infused “Morattu Muttal”. Roldan even throws in frenzied folk-inspired EDM theme “Start With Love” to end the LP on a heartfelt high.
