Seasoned and rising artists add colour to the Bollywood romance

An emotional roller coaster, 2025 Bollywood film Saiyaara follows the story of a musician struggling to find his voice. It’s only fitting, then, that its soundtrack is a voice in its own right—as hitmakers from across the generations craft a set of moving and euphoric love songs. Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami work their magic on the rock-infused title track. Mithoon and Arijit Singh are understated on the reassuring “Dhun”. And Sachet-Parampara are deep and powerful on the sweeping “Humsafar”. These songs add passion and poignancy to one of the year’s breakout cinematic hits.
