Dollar Sign hits the jackpot with his emphatically varied third EP

On his third EP, For The Day One$—arriving almost a year after the double whammy of 2023’s Time Will Tell and FAR FROM OVER—Indian rap royalty KR$NA gives his longtime fans a taste of the styles he’s treated them to over the previous decade and more. “Shut Up” bears his signature sound of breathless barbs, while romantic duet “What’s Up” is reminiscent of his experiments in pop. In contrast, “Stay Away” is a reminder of the artist’s ability to spit pensive rhymes over party beats. The unapologetically cocky “Role Model”—featuring Faris Shafi and Karma—rounds the EP out with yet another ace collab.
