The multi-hyphenate lays down a fistful of hip-hop bangers

Consistency has helped make Navaan Sandhu one of Punjabi pop’s fastest-rising stars. And the singer, songwriter and composer once again proves this to be true with Relentless. Simply put, this EP—released just under a year after his debut album, Way Maker—is 13 minutes of non-stop hip-hop firecrackers. Working with his regular producers like Legend, Quan and Yaari Ghuman, Sandhu sets his trademark lyrical wordplay against persistent beats. High points include “Dead Mangde”, which bears a ferocity reminiscent of his 2021 hit “Black Life”, and Baaz Gill collaboration “Done Talking”.
