Seasoned and rising vocalists power the dynamic period actioner

Film composer A.R. Rahman’s dramatic works have for decades complemented director Mani Ratnam’s epic productions. Ever since their debut outing together on 1992’s Roja, there’s been an undeniable chemistry between the pair that’s birthed a plethora of unforgettable songs. For the PS-1 soundtrack, Rahman mirrors the tale of heroes and conquests, tracking a courageous journey on “Kaveri Se Milne” and showcasing multiple vocals on “Chola Chola”. The sublime singing trio of Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan Mukherji and Mahesh Vinayakram bring their distinctive charm to “Rakshas Mama Re”. And there’s a lush soliloquy that peps up the dreamy “Doobi Doobi”.
