The duo and the producer create forward-thinking hip-hop

Seedhe Maut’s third full-length, Nayaab, kicks off on a boisterous note as rappers Encore ABJ and Calm look back at their journey so far (“Nayaab”, “Toh Kya”). But soon there’s a palpable sense we’re in for a more introspective, intimate exploration in this reunion with feted producer Sez on the Beat. The album includes explorations of hot musical styles (“Hoshiyaar”, “Dum Ghutte”) as well as inherited struggles (“Anaadi”). The group stand in solidarity with outcasts on “Godkode” before they ramp up their remarkable flow for “Rajdhaani”.
