The ace composer’s electrifying fusion for the Tamil action film

Helmed by Santhosh Narayanan, the soundtrack for Tamil action thriller Mahaan twists ideas of folk storytelling and failure in love into new shapes. Narayanan unleashes a thundering drum showdown on “Soorayaatam”—while the pace is radically different but measured on the melancholy “Pona Povura”. The rest of Mahaan offers hip-hop on the satirical “Rich Rich” with ofRO and Durai, as well as the English rap track “Missing Me”.
