Catchy choruses and pop gems power this action-thriller's music

Based on the true events of a 2008 shootout between police and terrorists in New Delhi, the soundtrack of this movie starring John Abraham runs the gamut from cheeky dance floor remixes to lovelorn Hindustani ballads, while generously laced with nationalistic pride. Opener "O Saki Saki" is a perky remake of an instantly recognisable yesteryear hit, while "Rula Diya" is a paean of longing that’s as heartfelt as it is melodic. The album's closer is also its highlight—"Jako Rakhe Saiyan" is a stunning tabla hymn for the country's heroes.
