The Hindi rapper proves versatile on his debut album

Delhi rapper Raga shows off his versatility on debut album Rap Ka Mausam. The bulk of it comprises of braggadocio-filled missives to rivals—such as the catchy, clap-happy title track and the civic pride of “Jamnapaar 2”. But he also reveals his softer side on the nostalgic “School Waley Yaar”. “Biba” is radio-friendly pop, while “Bechain”, a finger-snapping ode to Snapchat, flirts with jazz. Throughout, he maintains a steady, confident flow, and is ably aided by producers such as labelmate Yawar.
