Spirited and patriotic, this soundtrack hits the mark

Satyameva Jayate, the action-packed tale of a vigilante locked in a brutal struggle against police corruption, boasts a soundtrack flush with industry veterans and rising talent alike. Tanishk Bagchi's revamped version of the 1999 Bollywood hit "Dilbar" has become a chart-topper itself, thanks in no small part to its modern club-ready tempo and thick basslines. Elsewhere, Arko's sincere voice lends heft to "Tere Jaisa", a tabla duet with Tulsi Kumar. "Tajdar-E-Haram", a cover of the Sabri Brothers' devotional classic is done justice by Wajid's powerful voice.
